X-Men 2
And now we've come to my second favourite X-Men movie, X-Men 2. It's actually hard to explain why this is so good and is one of my favourite superhero movies ever. What's the story? It opens with Nightcrawler attacking the president but just before he can kill him he's stopped and he teleports away. We then see Logan at a place called Alkali Lake trying to get some answers about his past, but he finds nothing. He goes back to the mansion where Storm and Jean are going to Boston to find Nightcrawler and Cyclops and Charles are going to visit Magneto in prison. There's also a man named William Stryker played by Brian Cox who's already been to see Magneto and ask him about Cerebro. When Charles and Cyclops arrive, they're both knocked out and captured. That night while Logan is sleeping, his memories come and go again. While he goes into the kitchen he talks to Bobby Drake/Iceman, who's also Rogue's boyfriend. As they're talking, Stryker and his soldiers invade the mansion and take 6 students hostage. The other students escape and Logan along with Bobby, Rogue and Bobby's friend, John/Pyro escape themselves. However before they do Logan, and Stryker look at each other. At Alkali Lake, Stryker builds a second Cerebro and uses his son to hypnotise Charles to activate it. Cerebro is what Charles uses to find mutants. But if he concentrates hard enough on a group like mutants he could kill them all and every other mutant on the planet. Logan and the others go to Bobby's house and meet his jerky family and his brother calls the police on them saying mutants are attacking his house. They eventually escape and find Magneto, who's escaped from prison, and Mystique and he explains about Stryker's plan. And again I won't spoil what happens after that. It's actually hard to explain why I like it so much I've been watching it by myself a lot recently. Even Watchmojo put it as the 4th best Marvel movie ever. If I was to rank it on that list I made showing the pictures of my 10 favourites, I would say it would go as my 6th favourite superhero film ever. I also liked Brian Cox as Stryker. I think he's a really good villain for the movie, unlike the actor who played him in Origins who was really boring in my opinion. I really liked Jean a lot more in this film than I did the first one. My favourite fight scene is Wolverine vs. Lady Deathstrike in the lab after Logan finds out about his past.
And another thing I like is the ending with Jean saying the same thing Charles said at the beginning of the first movie. And the talk between Logan and Bobby is nice and the fight in the mansion is awesome. So yeah, amazing superhero movie and one of my favourites. Again, I can't exactly say why I love it, I just do. If you have the time, watch this movie, you will not be disappointed.

X-Men
So now I'm doing reviews for the X-Men movies. I said I would so here they are. I was never into X-Men until this year when I started watching the movies with my brother and sister and I really like almost all of them. My favourite X-Men movie is Days of Future Past and my least favourite is still Origins. What's the story? It opens with Erik Lehnsherr as a young boy in World War 2. As his mother is taken away, he reaches out to her and bends a metal gate with his mutant power of controlling metal. We then cut to years later where a girl named Rogue kisses a boy and he ends up in a coma. We then go to a meeting where a woman named Jean Grey, played by Famke Janssen, is saying mutants aren't a threat but a man named Senator Kelly is saying mutants are dangerous and all need to be killed. After the meeting, Charles Xavier played by Patrick Stuart, talks to Erik/Magneto played by Ian McKellen about how he's searching for hope but Magneto says all humans should die and mutants should rule the planet. Later Rogue is taken to a pub where she meets Logan/Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman. Later Logan leaves and Rogue stows away on his truck. They talk but then a mutant called Sabretooth attacks them but they're both saved by 2 more mutants named Storm, played by Halle Berry and Cyclops, played by James Marsden. Sabretooth tells Magneto that Rogue is with the X-Men. Later Logan and Rogue are taking to the X-Men mansion. Logan wakes-up and wanders the mansion and then walks into Charles' office. Storm, Cyclops and Jean enter the room. Charles explains what mutants are, what the mansion is, it's a school for young mutants and Rogue begins to attend and forms a relationship with one of the students, Bobby, who can create ice. Charles also tells him about Magneto. Apparently Magneto thought humanity would never accept mutants so he grew angry and vengeful. He also tells him that he has the power to control people's minds. They make a deal. Logan stays in the mansion for 2 days so Charles can find out what Magneto wants with him and in return Charles will help him piece together the memories he's apparently lost for 15 years on how he got his Adamantium claws and skeleton. Senator Kelly is then kidnapped by 2 more of Magneto's mutant servants named Mystique played by Rebecca Romijn and Toad played by Ray Park. That night Jean reads Logan's mind and some of his memories begin to come back. While he's sleeping his memories keep coming and going and he makes noise and shaking. Rogue comes into his room and he wakes-up and accidently stabs her in the chest with his claws but then she touches him and she begins to heal with his ability of regeneration. He gets knocked unconscious and when he wakes-up Charles explains that Rogue has the ability to absorb people's life energy but if she touches a mutant she can use their powers for a short while. And the rest, I won't spoil for you. So first I'm going to say the 1 nitpick I have with the film. It's that I wish there were more fight scenes. But it was made way back in 2000 so I do understand. But aside from that this is a really good movie. My sister thinks it's a little underrated and should be appreciated more. And yeah I kinda agree I guess. What I like is the cast. Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart are the best in my opinion as I've said before in my top 5 superhero portrayals. Another thing I like is Bryan Singer's direction. It's really good. Ian McKellen is also great as Magneto. He's really sympathetic at the beginning with the opening of him as a young boy. I also like James Marsden as Cyclops. He might be one of my favourite X-Men. It's also really funny. The funniest scene being when Logan says something to Cyclops at the end. Watch and you'll know what I'm talking about. The best fight scene is the final one with Logan, Storm, Cyclops and Jean against Toad, Sabretooth, Mystique and Magneto. Watch.
So yeah, the first X-Men isn't my favourite but I still like it. If you have a chance, watch it yourself, it's really good.

Star Wars Episode VI Return of the Jedi
And now we've gotten to the last of the original Star Wars trilogy and my favourite Star Wars movie so far. Maybe when the Force Awakens comes out maybe that will be my favourite Star Wars movie but for now this one's my favourite. What's the story? The empire has begun constructing a new Death Star and the Emperor has come to see. Meanwhile Luke, Leia, R2 and C-3PO have gone to Tatooine to rescue Han who has been frozen in Carbonite and is being held at Jabba the Hutt's palace. Lando and Chewie went there to find him but never returned. Leia manages to get him out but then they're all captured. They get taken to a creature to be eaten but Luke manages to free them all and they leave Tatooine. Luke and R2 go to Dagobah but Yoda is sick and is about to die. He tells Luke that he can only become a true Jedi if he defeats Vader. He then tells him that Vader is really his father. Luke then apologies for leaving while still training. And Yoda also tells him that there's another Skywalker. Later Luke and Obi-Wan talk and he tells him what really happened with Anakin. And he also tells him the other Skywalker that Yoda was talking about was Luke's twin sister and Luke realises that Leia is his sister. The rebels explain about the new Death Star ad Han volunteers to go to a planet called Endor and destroy the shield generator that's protecting the Death Star. Lando and a few others will take the Millennium Falcon and other ships and go destroy the Death Star once the shield is down. Luke comes with Han, Leia and the others to Endor and destroy the shield. Meanwhile the Emperor and Vader talk and they plan on making Luke a Sith. When they land on Endor Leia gets separated from the group. When Luke, Han Chewie, R2 and C-3PO go to look for her, they get captured by a bunch of little creatures called Ewoks. They get taken back to their camps and the Ewoks think C-3PO is a god. They eventually convince them they're on their side and the Ewoks take them to the shied generator. However before they leave, Luke leaves to find Vader because he thinks he can turn him good again and he tells Leia he's her brother. And the rest, you already know. So yeah, this is my favourite Star Wars movie. The main reason I like this film so much and the reason why it's my favourite Star Wars movie is because I really like the story and I like what they do when they get there. And fights between Vader and Luke here are probably the best in the whole original trilogy. Watch.
Another thing I like is the characters are a bit more grown-up. (By the way Leia and Han get together.) Anyway, Luke is still my favourite character. And the other thing I really like is the effects really hold up. The best effects in the movie is in space when Lando and the others are trying to destroy the Death Star. So yeah, that's Return of the Jedi. And in less than 2 months The Force Awakens will come out and I can't wait for it. I hope you all enjoyed my Star Wars reviews and I hope you're all as excited as I am to see the new one, but I doubt it. Next time I'll be doing my X-Men reviews.

Star Wars Episode V The Empire Strikes Back
And now the big one. The Empire Strikes Back. What is said to be the best Star Wars movie ever so far and one of greatest movies of all time, said by Watchmojo and Chris Stuckmann. It even got a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes and it got a 97% on the "liked it" side on Rotten Tomatoes. And that's the biggest score I've ever seen on that side. What's the story? It's starts with the Rebels on the ice planet called Hoth trying to hide from the empire. When Luke goes out for a search but a creature called a Wompa attacks him and bring him back to its cave. Han goes out to find him and Luke manages to get out but he collapses and almost dies. A spirit of Obi-Wan shows up in front of him and tells him to go to a planet called Dagobah to meet Master Yoda, an old Jedi master who might be able to teach him as a Jedi. Han finds Luke and brings him back to the Rebel hideout. And they fix him up. Later, the empire find them and begin to attack. Luke, R2, Leia, Han, C-3PO, Chewie and the Rebels escape just as the destroy the base. Luke and R2 go to Dagobah while Han, Leia, C-3PO and Chewie are being chased in the Millennium Falcon by Darth Vader and his men in their giant Star Destroyer. They manage to escape by hiding in an asteroid and trying to fix the hyper drive. While they're doing that, Luke and R2 land in Dagobah and the ship crashes and they meet one of the greatest movie characters ever, Yoda. And get this, this version is a puppet. The fact that they did so many amazing things with this character way back then is amazing. In the first few minutes we see him, he's hilarious. And once we see that he is Yoda, he's very serious and very wise. And then he begins to train Luke and Han and the others escape the asteroid to find out that they're inside the belly of a beast. They fly to Cloud City where they meet Han's old friend "Lando" played by "Billy D. Williams." They ask him for help for repairs to the ship but it turns out Darth Vader and the empire was already there. Luke gets a vision of Han and Leia getting harmed at Cloud City and he decides to go there to help them. And the rest I won't give away because you already know it. So yeah, there's so many things to talk about. First, the sets are unbelievably life-like and the effects look awesome for back then. Another is that there's never a single filler moment in the movie. It's all just fast paced story telling and it feels much shorter than it is. And of course the big part of it all, the "I am your father" scene near the end. It's the biggest twist in cinema history. And there's kids on YouTube watching this for the first time and being shocked by it. Watch.
The fact that no one saw it coming back then is unbelievable. And also the fight scenes are way better than the first one's. The fact that the lightsaber fight is longer, it looks cooler and the way the actors move is much better. So yeah, this is one spectacular movie. Return of the Jedi is actually my favourite Star Wars movie, but then this movie would come in 2nd as my favourite of all the Star Wars movies. But it's still amazing. You've all already seen this movie 10000 times and you know it has great stuff in it. And I don't think I need to say watch it because you already have.

Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope
So now we're finally at one of the greatest film trilogies of all time and the first Star Wars movie that came out in 1977 and was gigantic. It changed cinema forever and changed how people write about movies nowadays. What's the story? It takes place years later after Revenge of the Sith and Darth Vader is attacking a rebel ship trying to find plans for the rebels to destroy the Death Star which is the empire's space station. A princess named "Leia", played by Carrie Fisher, puts the plans inside R2 and both him and C-3PO get into an escape pod and land on Tatooine where they're being sold and the people who buy them are Owen Lars and Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill, who's Anakin Skywalker and Padme son. But back then, the people who saw this didn't know that. Anyway, Luke and C-3PO talk about how him and R2 were on the ship trying to escape. Luke discovers a message inside R2 of Leia asking Obi-Wan for help. His uncle tells him that Obi-Wan died when his father died, and we all know that's not true. That night R2 runs off but Luke and C-3PO find him the next morning but Sand People attack Luke but he's then saved by Obi-Wan, now played by Alec Guinness. They all go back to Luke's place where Obi-Wan explains that he fought in the clone wars and was a Jedi knight just like Anakin. He also gives Luke Anakin's lightsaber, and I'm going to say this right now, lightsabers are awesome. One of the coolest weapons ever.
I mean, look at that. That is awesome. It'd be cool if they were real. Anyway, Obi-Wan tells him that Darth Vader is the one who killed his father. They watch the whole message of Leia asking Obi-Wan for help. Luke says he'll take Obi Wan somewhere to get to where she is. However when he gets home, his aunt and uncle are burned and his home's destroyed because of storm troopers. He then decides to go with Obi-Wan from now on. Obi-Wan begins to train Luke in the art of the Jedi. They all go to a canteen and it's a really awesome scene to look at. There, they meet Han Solo played by Harrison Ford and Chewbacca the Wookie or "Chewie." They ask them to fly them to a planet to meet Leia. And the rest I won't say because I think I've said too much. Anyway, the good things in this movie are too many to count. The special effects are unbelievable. I mean, this was made in the 70's and they look so real. I think the best one is the final fight with all the fighter ships trying to destroy the Death Star. Watch this.
That is great stuff. And the cast is really good. My favourite character in the whole trilogy is Luke. He's my favourite Star Wars character of all. And while the lightsaber fight between Obi-Wan and Vader isn't that spectacular, you've still gotta give them credit that it looks as good as it does. And Vader himself here is so awesome. He's one of the coolest villains ever and has one of the most awesome voices ever. And we know the ginormous twist in the next movie. I won't say until the next review but you all know what it is. So yeah. This movie is one of the biggest movie landmarks in cinema history. And I'd say go see it but let's face it, you already have.

Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith
And now we're on the last of the bad Star Wars trilogy. After this we get to the original Star Wars trilogy. A.K.A the spectacular trilogy and the 3 of the best movies of all time and 3 of my favourite films of all time. What's the story? It starts off with Anakin and Obi-Wan going to rescue Supreme Chancellor Palpatine from the evil cyborg General Grievous. They find him and fight Count Dooku with Anakin killing him. When they're taking to Grievous they get their lightsabers back and he escapes. Anakin manages to land the ship they're on. They're back on Coruscant. Anakin meets his wife Padme and she tells him that she's pregnant and he's worried because he knows that if the Jedi order finds out he's a father, he'll be expelled from being a Jedi. That night he gets a vision of Padme dying in childhood, just like his mother. He begins to spend more time with the Chancellor who it turns out to be the evil Sith lord, Darth Sidious. He's trying to manipulate Anakin to join the Dark Side and become his apprentice. Obi-Wan goes away one day to find Grievous and destroy him. He does and he then realises that his clone army has betrayed the Jedi. Why? Because of JarJar. That's all you need to know. And on top of that, Anakin finds out that Palpatine is Sidious. He tells Mace Windu and he and Palpatine fight. Watch.
After that Anakin joins the Dark Side to save Padme making him Darth Vader and Sidious tells kill all Jedi. And you know the rest. So let's go over my problems Like last time, a lot of the performances are bland and a lot of things feel like filler. And they even make Darth Vader a whiner at the end when he realises he killed Padme. Now the good stuff. The fight scenes are really impressive. It even has the best lightsaber fight ever with Anakin vs. Obi-Wan. Watch.
And even there Hayden Christianson is so bland. Actually his acting and Natalie Portman's when Padme tells him she's pregnant, I do think is really good. And actually the story, while it has filler, actually isn't that bad and there's something about it I like. I can't explain it. I just do. So now we're done with the bad Star Wars trilogy and next we're getting to the better ones. I think this might be the best or second best with the prequels. I'd say watch it.

Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones
In my opinion this is the least out of all the Star Wars movies. Why? Well I'll explain after the story. What's the story? Many years later after the first movie, Anakin, now played by Hayden Christianson, and Obi-Wan have returned to meet Padme and she tells them that someone is trying to assassinate her. So Anakin is told to help keep her safe on her home planet, Naboo while Obi-Wan is told to find the Bounty Hunter trying to kill her. He finds out there's a cloning facility on a planet called Kamino where he finds a man named "Jango Fett" and his son "Bobba Fett" and he thinks Jango is the Bounty Hunter. He tells the counsel and he's told to bring him in for questioning. After he escapes Obi-Wan chases after him. While he's doing that Anakin and Padme get together even though Jedi are forbidden to fall-in love and Anakin is getting dreams about his mother dying so he decides to go to Tatooine to see her. And the rest is a bunch of stuff I honestly don't care about. So what are my problems with the film? I think the whole movie is just boring. The only thing I like about the movie is the ending with the big fight.
And I also don't like the dialog. It's bland just like the rest of the movie. And of course Hayden Christianson is the most boring actor in this movie and in the next movie. And even the final fight with Anakin and Obi-Wan vs. Count Dooku is really silly with the way the characters move. So yeah, I couldn't find much to be considered good with this movie. If you want to see it that's fine but if you ask me I'd say skip it.

My top 10 films I like but everyone else hates
This isn't like my top 10 underrated movies list, though one from that list is here. And I don't love any of these movie and all of them have huge problems but for what I got I thought they were decent enough for me to see them.
10. The Pirates of the Caribbean sequels: Yeah, I really like The Pirate of the Caribbean movies. First one is the best and it's one of my favourite live-action Disney movies. It's funny, fun, good characters, good action and a easy to follow story. In the sequels, the main problem is the stories are unbelievably complicated and I do kinda agree but I like them because the characters were entertaining and good fight scenes. My favourite character is Jack Sparrow played by Johnny Depp. I also like Pirates of the Caribbean in Kingdom Hearts 2. I'm hoping Dead Man's Chest and At Worlds End will be in Kingdom Hearts 3. But besides that I like the Pirate sequels.
9. The 2 Pink Panther movies: Now, I'm talking the live action movies staring Steve Martin. The main thing is that both movies are absolutely hilarious and the mysteries in both films are interesting and fun to follow. I also like the slapstick and how fast they are. I do like for the characters too but I just think the comedy is the highlight to both the movies.
8. Atlantis The Lost Empire: Out of all the Disney movies I think this one is the most interesting. It's kind of hard to explain but the scene when they get to Atlantis and they learn about the culture and I thought that it was all very interesting, and that's rare for me because usually the thing I love about Disney Classics is the characters and the music and what's happening to them and I do like the characters here like the side characters like Mole or Sweet some the others but here, I think what I like the most is the story. I would my problem is the same as before with some things being filler but I still think it's a really good film.
7. The Hobbit movies: None of the Hobbit movies were considered bad but they were close to getting bad scores on Rotten Tomatoes. And I kind of agree. All of them have weird moments and filler moments that are unnecessary, but I like them because the action in all of them and the cast isn't that bad even though I think 1 or 2 of them are a little odd, and I also like the interesting things in them like the backstory of the dwarfs. However, another problem I have with them is the same thing I said before with Thorin going crazy I thought was really out of character and made no sense to me but I still like them and I think they're all great prequels to the Lord of the Rings movies.
6. Batman Forever: This is the movie that was on my top 5 underrated movies and I think what I like about it is the fact that it's trying to be a bit more kid friendly and there was a bit more for a family audience. And given the fact that the cast was alright I guess and wasn't said to be a problem with the movie by critics I think was decent.
5. Cars 2: If you saw my Inside Out review you should know I said I don't like this that much anymore. It's definitely boring, poorly written and not well executed, but for me what I kinda like is the ending climax. I would probably give it a 50 or 40% on Rotten Tomatoes. The rest of the movie is just really bland and the characters really that entertaining and yeah I guess I just like it for the ending and that's it.
4. Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace: If you saw my review of this you should know I said even though I acknowledge there's problems but I like it because I actually think it was kind interesting with the dilemma and the character's struggles. But there was also Jar Jar Binks. And while he is really annoying, he didn't stop me from liking. So I think it's my favourite out of all the Star Wars prequels.
3. Spider-Man 3: O.K you all read my Spider-Man 3 review so you know that there's a lot to dislike about this movie, but I also said I kinda like the movie like I said before the reason is kind of like what I said with Cars 2 with the fight scenes. And the special effects were cool. And the scenes with Venom, as small as they were, were cool. But there are still huge problems like Emo Peter, the Dance Scene, little Venom and not knowing what the Sandman was doing after he left in the end of the movie. But what I think are good here are actually really good like the fight scenes are incredible and the C.G.I is great looking and the cast, even though I still don't think they're better than the Amazing Spider-Man ones, are good and the story I think is O.K enough to be seen a few times.
2. The 2 Fantastic 4 movies: I'm talking about the original 2 movies, not that incredibly bad recent one. I like the first one because of the ending with the 4 of them are fighting Doctor Doom, who's one of my favourite Marvel villains ever. The rest of the movie is not that good. It's just talking and not many action scenes. However I really like the sequel, Rise Of The Silver Surfer. There's more action, more Doctor Doom and cooler special effects. The only problem I have with this movie is Galactus, who's also an awesome Marvel villain. It's a little hard to explain why I like them, I just do.
And the number 1 film I like but everyone else hates is... The original 2 Scooby-Doo films (2002, 2004): Yeah, I like the Scooby-Doo movies, though there are huge problems. I'm just going to go through the problems first. In the 1st movie the special effects aren't that good and I don't like how Scrappy-Doo the villain. That is so out of character, especially how he was one of my favourite characters in the original show. But what I like is how the story is explained and the cast bring the characters to life. They're about 90% perfect acting. Like my last one, I prefer the sequel. I watched it a lot when I was younger and nowadays. And I kinda like how it had the same kinda had the same feel as Harry Potter. I think because they were both made by Warner Bros. Studios. The special effects are much better in the second one. I like sort of quiet scenes and actually the villain is cool. His costume and voice are cool. And out of all the characters, Scooby is my favourite both in the movies and the show. And those are the movies I like but every one else hates, I hope you enjoyed it.
10. The Pirates of the Caribbean sequels: Yeah, I really like The Pirate of the Caribbean movies. First one is the best and it's one of my favourite live-action Disney movies. It's funny, fun, good characters, good action and a easy to follow story.

My top 3 anti-heroes
We all know how anti-heroes work. Characters who do the good things but not really for good reasons and will do it rarely and their other acts could be villainish. And now I'm going to tell you my top 3.
3. Venom: While Venom did start of as a villain trying to kill Spider-Man but as time went by he began to fight injustice and become not as evil as when he started out. This was explained in the comics and the original 90's TV show. I kinda like it and that's when he became an anti-hero and one of my favourites.
2. Shadow the Hedgehog: Basically the opposite of Sonic, this black Hedgehog has gotten so much praise from everyone. I've seen on a few YouTube videos that Shadow's the most popular Sonic character. And I can see why. He's awesome. I think he was best portrayed in Sonic X or Shadow the Hedgehog the video game.
And my number 1 favourite anti-hero is... Deadpool: Yeah, everyone loves this Merc with a Mouth. He's by far the most popular and funniest anti-hero ever. I think my favourite might be the one from the Ultimate Spider-Man show in the episode the Ultimate Deadpool. And my least favourite version of the character is in X-Men Origins Wolverine where they made him shut-up. Who wants to see the Merc with a Mouth shut-up. But aside from that, he's just beyond hilarious and quotable. Also I'm looking forward to the Deadpool movie coming out next year watch this trailer.
He's just hilarious and he's my favourite anti-hero of all time.
