Anime t-shirt collection

So, this is a relatively small thing I did yesterday on my YouTube channel, but, really wanted to show it here because I liked the idea. I did a small video showing my different anime t-shirts. I just had the idea the other day and since I'm trying to talk about anime a lot more on my channel, it just seemed fun to do. So, yeah, not really anything super out of the ordinary with this, but I do have a whole bunch of these and even ones for shows I've seen but not mentioned on here yet before. The thumbnail might not look like much but the photo was taken a while back so I've gotten more since then and I wanted to show them all here as well as talk about some ideas I have for more really soon. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

My Android 18 collectible (Review)

So, I'm back to getting more Dragon Ball collectibles. I actually haven't gotten one since April and I was finally able to get another yesterday with getting one for Android 18. It took me a while to get her but I finally did. And, in terms of me trying to get the competitors of Team Universe 7 from the Tournament Of Power, the only two left for me to get are Krillin and Tien. Hopefully I'll be getting them soon, but, for now, I'm happy to have gotten another one of the characters and adding them to the collection and so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

Anime merchandise collection

So, I may have mentioned last year at some point that I was hoping to sorta do this thing I thought of where I would collect one thing from an anime I like that I could wear and then have them all together in one big cosplay. And, so, I did. I got a whole bunch of things last year for it along with some other things I had been getting for year and put them together. I'm still doing it, but I'm really happy with how it's going so far and I'm really excited for the other things I could be getting for it soon. I explain everything and what they are in the video and I was really happy with the way both the cosplay and the video themselves turned out. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings

So, guys, now after Black Widow, we're back with another M.C.U movie and honestly one I was really excited for as the release date got closer, Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. I remember not being particularly excited for this when it was first announced, but, recently, with the new trailers and the reception I've been hearing it's getting, it just built my anticipation for this more and more. And so, in the end, I gotta say, this is probably my favourite standalone M.C.U movie since Black Panther. I loved so much about this film. Like I said, I wasn't that excited for this for a while until fairly recently, but it pretty much exceeded my expectations. I had a really, really great time with this film. And, again, like always, I'll be going with no spoilers for first part and then have a spoiler section later. And so, what's the story? We're following a guy named Shang-Chi, played by Simu Liu, in San Francisco with him trying to live a normal life but he's then attacked by a group of people who were sent by his dad who's looking for him because he left their home. So, after he's attacked, he tries to find out what his dad's up to and stop him. So, immediately, one of the biggest things I loved the most about this was the cast. This is probably my favourite ensemble of cast in a solo Marvel movie we've seen in a few years. I absolutely loved Simu Liu as Shang-Chi himself. He's super fun, super likeable, super funny and is a very charismatic actor. I thought he did a phenomenal job. Awkwafina's in this as his friend from San Francisco named Katy and she's really funny as well and likeable, and the rest of the cast do just as phenomenal a job as them. The film is also fantastically directed. This was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton who did a great job with this. The cinematography is really gorgeous in this and the locations are really great to see. The film's also really funny. It has really laugh out loud moments and it's has a great way of telling its story as well with great flashbacks so you understand everyone's motivations. But, really, I think the best part of this film was the action. This has probably my favourite action scenes in any M.C.U movie. With a movie like this, they were gonna need to find someone who could do incredible action scenes considering these characters are all about martial arts and Destin Daniel Cretton did an unbelievably fantastic job with these action scenes. There's the scene on the bus that we saw in the trailers that was so much fun to watch and was perfectly shot and edited and the cinematography in that scene was incredible. But I think my favourite fight scene was with Shang on the outside of a building fighting a whole bunch of guys on a scaffolding and he's fighting them as he's making his way down. The cinematography and the choreography in that scene was so incredible, especially the part when he fights one guy with knives inside the building. Also, this film has one really insane climax. I know we've had a bunch of crazy M.C.U climaxes before, but the climax to this film is absolutely bonkers and I loved it. I'm obviously not spoiling it here, but it's an absolutely insane final battle that I didn't even expect. But, even beyond the insanity of it, it is just a really exciting finale and it has some of the best visuals in the M.C.U. There's also a nice variety of action as well as a bunch of interesting and creative things in the scenes too. Also, I just really enjoyed the journey of the whole films. Like I said, they do a bunch of different things to show the pasts of all these characters and it made a lot of them all the more likeable. It also made some things that happen all the more tragic towards the end. As far as the villains in the film, we already knew the Mandarin was gonna be in this properly and, while he's not one of the better M.C.U villains ever, he does have a better motivation than some of the others. Plus, Tony Chiu-Wai Leung did a fantastic job with the performance. I will say, there are some things about his character that're a little odd, but I'll get into that in the spoiler section. And, as far as connections to other things in the M.C.U, there's not a ton. There's some mentions here and there as well as when we see Wong and Abomination like we saw in the trailers, plus there's the mid credit scene, but aside from that's there's not really anything, which is cool. I like how they don't need to have these huge films that's connected to the other films that much and is still its own thing. I really like a lot of that about this. There's also a character who appears in this that was really funny and cool to see, but, again, I won't spoil it. There's also a good amount of twists in this I didn't expect. Aside from the ending that I already mentioned, there are some surprises in this I didn't expect and I loved that about this. as far as any negatives I have with the film, there aren't many but I think the only one I might have is that the pacing at the start was maybe a bit too fast. The pacing in the rest of the film is really well done, but I do feel like its opening was a little too fast when Shang is in San Francisco and I may have wanted a bit more time there, but that's really about it. Overall, I absolutely loved this film. It's, in my opinion, one of the best solo M.C.U movies and one of the best in the past few years. I can't wait to see it again and see more of these characters in this universe. And, so, everyone, those are my thoughts on Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think. All right, we're going into the spoilers now. If you don't want it spoiled, go see the film then come back here.

Spoilers:

All right, I guess the first big spoiler is when it's revealed that Shang has a sister and that's the person with the other pendant that his dad was looking for. I really enjoyed the scene in that fight club. It was funny and it was cool to see Wong and Abomination there. Though, I am curious how Abomination looks different now. And, I liked when they went to the Mandarin's home and we learn more about their history with Shang and his sister. Also, on that, the part about the Mandarin that I found weird was when it revealed he wants to invade his wife's home because he believes they have her behind some gate or something. I found that weird for a few reasons. One, he saw his wife die before so I'm not sure why he'd think that, and also the whole thing of him hearing her voice was strange. I know it's because of the rings and the creatures were trying to trick him, but something about that didn't click with me. But, I did appreciate that he had a better motivation than other M.C.U villains. Anyway, I loved the flashbacks where we see Shang and his sister as kids and we learn their history. I think my favourite part from that though was the fight in the restaurant. It was just another fantastically choregraphed fight. Also, the big character who I was talking about that I didn't expect was Trevor. I guess I sorta had a feeling he's return because of that All Hail The King short, but it was surprising to see him but I loved seeing him again and he was hilarious and Ben Kingsley did a fantastic job with him. And, on the final battle I was mentioning, I found it crazy when we got to see a whole bunch of dragons around the place and Shang is fighting his dad. Plus, I didn't expect to see his dad get killed by that dragon. I really did think Shang himself was gonna do it. Also, I'm pretty sure they reference Dragon Ball when Shang has all the rings and he makes some energy orb with them. I'm pretty sure Katy herself mentioned that too. Speaking of, it was cool that she helped bring down that final dragon with an arrow. And then the ending was nice with them back in San Francisco, but then it was made cooler when Wong showed up and asked to speak with them. And, as the credit scenes, the first one was cool when we got to see Carol and Bruce with Wong, Shang and Katy examining the rings thinking they're sending a beacon to  something. so, that was interesting and made me wonder what exactly this could mean for the future of the M.C.U. Also, I'm wondering how Bruce turned back to normal. And, as far as the end credit scene, it was cool to see Shang's sister take over the Ten Rings headquarters. It was also cool when we see the screen say "The Ten Rings Will Return." Again, there's just so many possibilities coming from this and I'm really excited. And, I think that's everything. Really, I just had so much fun with this film and I'm so excited to see it again. And, yeah, everyone, those are all my thoughts on Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.
