And so, everyone, we've arrived at the latest of Sony's Spider-Man movies, Venom: Let There Be Carnage. This is the sequel to the 2018 Venom movie, which I really didn't like at all and I didn't have any faith in this film at all. Not just because the first one was bad, but also because the trailers didn't look good at all just like the first one as well. And I actually did see this the day of it's release over here. So, really, overall, was this an improvement at all? No, it really, really wasn't. I don't know if it was better or worse than the first, but I'd say they're about on the same level. Both are just really, really bad. Also, I am gonna do a spoiler review from the beginning because, for one, I don't think you should see this and it's really the only way I can talk about this properly. So, what's the story? Eddie is visiting Cletus Kasady in prison frequently and he's giving him info on some crimes which leads to Cletus meeting again and Venom attacks him briefly which makes Cletus bite Eddie only for a bit of the Symbiote to go inside his body and he becomes Carnage, now they're both looking for Eddie and Venom as well as Cletus's girlfriend, Shriek. Also, Eddie and Venom are having a bit of a falling out. So, yeah, if that small description should tell you anything, it's that this is a very, very generic movie. The very plot of the film is very basic and has so many parts that are so predictable. So, really, the first big thing I noticed that was wrong with this movie was the structuring of the scenes and the editing. The way the movie leads into a scene and keeps going in a scene is very weird. I'm not 100% sure how to explain it, but the way the scene plays out and is kinda dropped into the film is just really weird and a lot of that may have to do with the editing. That was the first thing I noticed when watching it. The pacing as well is really bad. A lot of the film is spent of really generic character drama or drawn out jokes. They tried to make Venom really, really funny in this and they go way overboard with it. He's basically a walking joke the whole movie and, because of that, it's kinda hard to take the film seriously. But the stuff with the characters themselves doesn't help either because I really wasn't interested in any of them. The writing for a lot of their scenes was poorly done and the actual character arcs feel really clichéd. Like I said, there's a whole section of the movie where Eddie and Venom are having a falling out which leads to Venom leaving by fusing to some other people and this leads to a weird scene were he's attached to someone else and he's trying to talk to people at a night party. That was just weird and dumb and I really couldn't believe what I was watching. But then the conclusion of that arc was dumb because Eddie eventually has to find him and apologise and, again, it was just really dumb and clichéd and generic. As far as the performances in this, not everyone is bad here, but the majority of the performances are just really bad. I don't blame the actors for this, it's mostly just the writing's fault, but the acting in this is either really bad, over the top or just straight up cartoonish, especially Woody Harrelson as Cletus. Also, one of the biggest concerns I had going into this was Carnage's role. I know I haven't mentioned him yet, but he was the part of the movie I was most excited to see because I love the character of Carnage. He's one of the coolest Marvel villains ever in my opinion. And, I will say, the effects on him, while not perfect, are pretty cool. But I was really letdown when I realised he was really only in the movie for about ten minutes. I'm not even kidding. I think the amount of screen time Carnage himself actually got was only ten minutes at least. Also, him dying at the end is really dumb because I was hoping to see him again some time in the future, but, at the end of the climax, Venom just kills him and that was so dumb and disappointing to me. The ending as well was really badly done too. There were some creative things they do in the climax, but the majority of it was generic or not creative at all or kinda hard to make out. The fact that they have a character like Carnage in this and they did use the potential there was just annoying to me. Also, the whole plotline involving Shriek was weird. I didn't like how they did her character and the whole thing with her and Cletus being a couple and that being an integral part to the story was just really badly done. I didn't like it at all and her in the climax was generic too. Like, the whole thing with the bell wasn't that creative to me. I've seen that kinda thing with Venom a lot and it wasn't very creative to me. The film also looks kinda weird. Just from the cinematography and the way the film is shot just makes it looks weird and kinda cheap. Also, that small scene at the end when it sounds like Cletus saying all he wanted was Eddie's friendship was so badly done and so incredibly stupid. Also, while this movie is shorter than the first and isn't that long in retrospect, the bad pacing of it makes it feel so much longer than it is and that just makes the whole thing seem really boring and has a ton of moments that feel like dead air. also, there's a ton of pointless things in this that didn't need to be in this like that one policeman whole was following Eddie around. That felt really unnecessary and the whole thing with it looking like he could be a supervillain is kinda interesting, but that still felt unnecessary. Really, this film just had so many problems in it and was just really poorly made from a writing standpoint and editing as well. However, the one thing I will take away from this was the end credit scene, which is really cool. It shows Eddie and Venom being transported into the M.C.U and seeing the M.C.U Spider-Man on TV. That was really, really awesome I already knew that because a friend of mine told me, but it was still cool to see. And, yeah, I'm really excited to see this Venom come into the M.C.U movies and interact with Tom Holland's Spider-Man. There's a lot of cool things you can do with that and I'm really excited to see that. But, as for the movie itself overall, yeah, it's just really bad again. I didn't think this was gonna be good going in and I was right. Really, I don't think you should go see this. Just know about the end credit scene with Venom and Spider-Man and that's it. As for the movie, yeah, don't see it. It's just really bad. And so, everyone, that's my review for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

My Asta collectible (Review)
So, I know I've been getting these collectibles for anime characters a bit slowing than before, but I'm still trying to get them as much as I can. And, recently, I was able to get one for Asta from Black Clover. Not that I'm the biggest fan of Black Clover itself or Asta himself, but I don't hate him or anything and he does have some cool moments. Plus, I do believe he has a really cool design. And I was glad to have found a collectible of him on eBay for a good price. Although, the one I actually got has this kinda weird yellow-ish tint on him which is a little odd, but it's still great to have him and have another anime protagonist as a collectible. I mainly want to focus on that in particular for a while. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.
