My top 10 favourite video game characters

Video game characters have easily become some of the most popular characters ever. And with me talking about tons of video games before, I thought I'd talk about the many different characters and talk about my 10 favourites. And, this is gonna have a couple of rules so, let's go over them. This will only be video game original characters, so this won't have any characters from games that're based on a movie or a TV show. And I'm also only including a one character per franchise on here unless it's a villain because, well, let's face it, if I didn't, this list would just be full of Kingdom Hearts characters. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
10. Crash:

Starting us off at number 10 is the kinda crazy Bandicoot from the series named after him. After the evil scientist, Dr. Cortex created him to do his bidding, Crash went against him and Uka Uka and has stopped his plans along with Aku Aku. He's also doesn't really funny and has cool ability like combat skills and the ability to spin really fast and hijack mutants with Aku Aku.
9. Pit:

I actually haven't played all of the Kid Icarus games, I know there have only been three, but I've only actually played Uprising. And from that game alone, as well as playing Smash Bros. Pit himself is a super enjoyable character. He's kinda dumb in cases, but he's really funny and I really like the interactions between him and Palutena. He's also a really skilled fighter and he has a great arsenal of weapons.
8. Ratchet:

Number 8 is the last of his kind with the skills of a mechanic, Ratchet. Being the last Lombax alive, Ratchet spent his original days as a mechanic trying to make a spaceship to explore the universe. When he met Clank, they both stopped an evil villain named Drek from destroying their planet and killing a bunch of people. Ever since then, the two of them have been on countless adventures and have saved tons of planets. They both become really famous in their world. And Ratchet himself is a lot of fun, he's funny and knows when to take things more seriously when needed.
7. Sephiroth:

At number 7 is my favourite video game villain ever, Sephiroth. Originally a good guy, when he discovered that he was actually an experiment, went against everything he ever believed in and decided to turn the planet's energy and become a god-like being. And even now, he seems to just want to mess with Cloud and torture him. Also, small thing that I sorta think of with him, but I always feel that he's a super charismatic character, from the way he talks, to the way he acts, even by the way he fights.
6. Cloud:

Speaking of Cloud, here he is at number 6. This guy original wanted to make it to SOLDIER, but never did. With his friend Zack, he started saving tons of people and became a hero when he stopped Sephiroth. His weapon is a gigantic sword called the Buster Sword. While not exactly what you would call the most positive or happy-go-lucky guy ever, Cloud clearly does want to do what's right and does care about his friends.
5. Mario:

Easily the most popular character in video game history, Mario has become probably the most popular Japanese character of all time, I think anything. This Italian plumber is the main protector of the Mushroom Kingdom. When he first came out, people immediately loved him and he's easily one of the most popular characters of all time. He's also a lot of fun as a character and, while he may not have much in the way of a personality that much, he's still great. I mean, the Mario franchise is so full of memorable and likeable characters, but it's main hopping plumber might be my favourite.
4. Yoshi:

I know I said that I would include one character per franchise here, but Yoshi did technically have his own stand-alone video game series. And the character himself is very likeable, very entertaining and pretty adorable too. This small dinosaur has been around for ages and is still as big a character as ever today. He's been helping Mario throughout many adventures and even made it through a lot of his own like in Yoshi's Woolly World for example. And he's got some amount of abilities like gliding, speed and being able to eat other creatures and then turning them into eggs.
3. Kirby:

This pink, 8 inched little baby creature has been protecting his universe as a Star Warrior for a long time. Kirby may not look like much, but he's got a lot of strong abilities. For one, he's actually strong, fast, has an inhale ability, can fly anywhere on his Warp Star or just inflate himself to get places and has a copy ability with the inhale ability. He's so tough with his body that hardly anything can actually hurt him. And it's his fun babyish personality that I like about him the most, but he's also just a great character with a very simple design.
2. Sonic:

Coming in close to number 1 is the spiky, blue, fast hedgehog himself, Sonic the Hedgehog. When it comes to video game characters that I feel to be the most fun, Sonic MIGHT be my favourite. And, remember, that's a really big MIGHT. But he IS a super fun character and I love him. He's got a super fun, smart talking and cocky guy who the fastest video game character ever. With his speed, Sonic can get most anywhere at anytime. He's super funny but also super friendly and caring. And I love that aspect of him. And he's a character I've always liked and will always continue to love.
And my number 1 favourite video game character of all time is... Sora:

Come on, what can I say about Sora that I haven't said a trillion times before. Out of any character I've ever seen, not just video game, but characters in general, Sora is easily the best I've ever seen. Existing in a series where friends are incredibly important, Sora is the most friendly character you'll ever see. But it's not just that. He's got a super fun personality, he's funny in cases, he's an amazing fighter, he's incredibly positive and optimistic, he's got a lot of skills, he's easy to adapt to anything and will do whatever is required to help everyone. He's also the most inspirational character I've ever seen and he's changed me in a lot of ways. In some cases, he'll even try to help the villains sometimes by trying to make them good. A super fun character that anyone can like, I can't wait to see him fight and win against Pit in Death Battle in two weeks and I can't wait to see what they're going to do with him in Kingdom Hearts 3. Kingdom Hearts 3 Classic Kingdom Trailer

So a little while ago we got a new small trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3. The only difference is that this isn't like an actual trailer. It's showing Sora, Donald and Goofy in Twilight Town meeting Hayner, Pence and Ollete and them showing him a game. Which is kinda cool. Sora playing a game like that. I know, technically, there was the Light Cycle in Kingdom Hearts 2, but this time it's an actual video game showing him as a kinda classic character in black and white with King Mickey. And the visuals in this are still great. We see the obvious visuals with the game itself with Sora and the others, also that scene of seeing Sora's face is really well done, but also a tiny bit strange to me, I don't know why though, but then there's the visuals for the game he's playing, which is also great and it's cool to see him in a black and white world again. I think this is going to be a mini game for the game. And so, here it is and I hope you all enjoy.

Incredibles 2 second trailer

With there only being 2 months left before the second Incredibles movie comes out, it was inevitable that were going to be getting another trailer soon. While I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the last trailer, this one perfectly fixed the problems I had with the previous one and makes it a whole lot better. This shows more footages, obviously, and makes it even bigger with the action and some really funny scenes. This trailer alone has made me a billion time more excited for the movie coming out soon, which I never knew would be possible. And so, here it is and I hope you all like it.

Avengers: Infinity War TV Spot

So Infinity War will be out two weeks from tomorrow and I'm actually seeing it the first day it's out, which I may or may not have mentioned before. I'm just saying it in case I haven't, and as this promotional stuff is coming out more and more, like the pictures and TV spots, the anticipation for this for me can't be any higher. And this one in particular is already doing what the other promo stuff has been doing by giving away a lot of footage, but still not really giving away anything in terms of the plot, which is great. If they can continue for the next two weeks, I'd be so happy and I'd be going into the movie so giddy. And so, here it is and I hope you all like it.

My top 8 Dragon Ball and Sonic the Hedgehog similarities

So with past entries I've made countdowns discussing the similarities between two different sources of entertainment. And so, now, I've decided to talk about a pretty obvious one from Japan, Dragon Ball and Sonic the Hedgehog. My brother and I have both made jokes before about the different similarities between these two. There's so many that anyone can make. In fact, you could really say that without Dragon Ball, Sonic never would have existed. And, yeah, 8 was all I could think of, that's why I made this 8. And so, let's begin and I hope you all enjoy this.
8. Bulma, Tails:

Starting us off are the two main hero geniuses of the group. Bulma and Tails are both engineers who create tons of inventions for the other heroes. They both also started their engineering careers at a young age with a plane being their main vehicle of transportation. They're also some of the closet friends to the main hero, with Tails actually already being Sonic's best friend.
7. Androids, Metal Sonic:

These two robotic devices were all created to kill the main hero. Dr. Gero created the androids as a way to kill Goku, as well as creating Cell. When Dr. Eggman first saw Sonic in action, he thought the best way to beat him would be to create an evil robot version of him. Also, the fact that both the androids and Metal Sonic eventually turned on their creators and they're some of the hardest opponents the heroes have ever faced.
6. Dr. Gero, Dr. Eggman:

Speaking of which, both of these mad scientists are at number 6. When Goku returned to Earth after Namek, he found out some androids were out to kill him. And Dr. Gero was the one who created them. And Sonic's archenemy is Dr. Eggman who sorta has the same goal to kill the main hero. Both are machine creating evil doctors who want nothing more than to kill Goku and Sonic and then take over the world. They also, like I said, are eventually betrayed by their creations.
5. Trunks, Silver:


These two time travelers are both from a devastating future. With Trunks, he comes from a future destroyed by the androids while Silver comes from one destroyed by Iblis. Both of them then time travel to the past to destroy a target that they believe will put their time back to normal. They both also have silver aspects to them. I know Trunks' hair is purple, but in Dragon Ball Z, it looked silver and Silver's name is literally Silver.
4. Goku, Sonic:

At number 4 at the main protagonists of these two franchises. These two are both extreme optimists who always fight for their friends no matter what. Also the fact that they're both incredibly fun, fast and have a lot of the same personalities in even more ways. And the two of them just show off who they are in such similar ways and they both always try to save they're friends and even try to become better than they are.
3. Vegeta, Shadow:

Probably the most obvious one of them all, both Vegeta and Shadow are practically the exact same. In fact, there's almost no difference between the two. They're both pretty much anti-heroes and they both look the same, act the same, sound the same. There's practically no difference to be found with them. But that's not entirely a problem. They're both great characters and it's fun to watch them both.
2. Super Saiyan, Super Sonic:

My brother and I like to make biggest joke with these two by saying Super Sonic is the number 1 biggest similarity to Dragon Ball. Personally, I think there's one more, but still, yeah, Super Sonic is the exact same as Super Saiyan. The character going gold in some way and getting stronger. But, actually, there's something I actually discovered by myself kinda recently. When Sonic and Goku are in their normal forms, their hair and spikes are just fine. And when Vegeta and Shadow are in their normal forms, their hair and spikes are always up. And when they go Super, their hair and spikes stay the same, but when Goku and Sonic go Super, their hair and spikes go up, exactly like Shadow and Vegeta. That's another similarity between the two.
And the number 1 Dragon Ball and Sonic the Hedgehog similarity is... Seven Dragon Balls, Seven Chaos Emeralds:

And finally at number 1 is the main thing to do with Dragon Ball and the objective of the Sonic franchise, the seven Dragon Balls and the Seven Chaos Emeralds. Considering the whole series of Dragon Ball is named after the Dragon Balls, it would kinda be silly to ignore this fact, but while both the Dragon Balls and the Chaos Emeralds have different powers, there's the same amount with the two of them and the heroes are always searching for them. They're also the target for some of the villains too. They also help defeat the villains in a couple of occasions. And so everyone, those are my top 8 Dragon Ball and Sonic the Hedgehog similarities. My top 10 One Piece characters

For some entries I've done before, I've counted down my top 10 favourite character from different anime series. And so here, I'm going to be counting down my favourite characters from an anime I've been watching for a while, One Piece. As I said in November of last year, One Piece was an anime I wanted to start watching and I've mentioned it a few times in a few of my previous entries. I've even mentioned before about how Luffy is one of my favourite anime protagonists now from what I've watched. And so, let's begin and I hope you all enjoy.
10. Tony Tony Chopper:

Starting us off is this half human, half reindeer creature who's both a doctor and an adorable companion. Mainly just called Chopper, this guy's home was held by the tyrannical Waffle until Luffy and his crew freed it. Chopper then joined the crew and can even turn into a huge beast-like form from having one of the Devil Fruits. So, basically, never push him too far.
9. Nami:

This burglar started off doing nothing but just stealing all the treasure she could find. In fact, at times, even after she joined Luffy's crew, she made it look like she betrayed him a couple of times just for treasure. However, when it came time to see why, it was revealed she was only doing it to buy the freedom of her homeland from the shark men. Once Luffy defeated them and freed her home, she joined the team for real as the navigator and has helped out on many occasions.
8. Robin:

One of the more traumatic members of the Straw Hat Pirate crew, Robin has had one saddened life. Her family and home was destroyed and she was immediately branded as a criminal. When the world government went after her, she spent twenty years on the run and was hated everywhere. After serving a villain, she eventually met Luffy who offered her the friendship she had been longing forever. After Luffy and the others went up against the world government to free her, she joined the Straw Hat Pirates and is one of nicest, sweetest and kind-hearted members. Especially towards Luffy himself.
7. Sanji:

Given Luffy's appetite, it would make sense that he would want the best chef ever. That description falls to Sanji. A cigarette-smoking lady's man who flirts with any woman he meets. He was once a boy who was saved by his mentor cook and he felt he needed to repay him. He also has a power in his leg to make it turn into some sort of hot molten. And his life-long dream is to find something called the All Blue.
6. Usopp:

This professional marksman started off as a cowardly pathological liar who was the friend to a woman who loved his tall tales. Once Luffy, Zoro and Nami heled his stop her butler from killing her, he decided to leave and become of the first crew members of the Straw Hat Pirates. Plus, let's face it, if it wasn't for him, Luffy never would have gotten his ship, the Going Mary. He's also probably the funniest character in the series and has been one of Luffy's biggest supporters.
5. Trafalgar Law:

Once an enemy to the Straw Hat Pirates, this guy quickly turned and became one of Luffy's biggest allies. Another character with a Devil Fruit power, not only did he save Luffy's life, he also helped him reach Amazon Lily while he was knocked out. He even managed to avenge his friend when fighting the villain Doflamingo. He even has a tragic backstory and that's all added up to make an extremely likeable character.
4. Ace:

Luffy's adopted older brother is at number 4. The biological son of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, this guy was introduced as a member of White Beard's crew. He also has a Devil Fruit power. He has the powers of the Flame-Flame Fruit. The entire time he was there, he was fun and a funny character to watch until he was captured by the world government. Despite Luffy doing everything he could to save him, Ace eventually died saving Luffy's life, which is still the saddest moment in the series so far. Especially when you listen to the goodbye he says to Luffy just before he dies with a smile on his face.
3. Shanks:

Luffy's childhood pirate friend is at number 3. This guy is the main reason for a lot of things in Luffy's life. He's the main reason Luffy wanted to become a pirate and he's the one who gave him his iconic straw hat. When he came back one day, he saved Luffy from a gang of pirates and even saved him from a huge sea creature and lost his left arm doing so. This guy actually reminds me a lot of Gildarts from Fairy Tail in a lot of ways to me. They both look the same and have the same kinda personality. Shanks is also like a father figure to Luffy and is one of the nicest and friendliest characters I've seen in the series so far.
2. Zoro:

Coming in close to number 1 is the former pirate hunter and Luffy's first real companion, Roronoa Zoro. There are none that even come close to how likeable this guy is. When Luffy freed him from the marines, he joined him and became Luffy's first crew member. They quickly became close friends and Zoro has so much likeability to him. He even deals in the three-sword fighting style, which has proven useful time and time again. He's made a goal for himself to become the world's greatest swordsman. What's even better though is his undying loyalty. Doing whatever it takes to protect everyone, especially Luffy and making sure he's safe and doing everything to get him out of trouble.
And my number 1 favourite One Piece character is... Luffy:

And finally at number 1 is the Straw Hat Pirate himself, Monkey D. Luffy. Are you really surprised? This main character has so much to him. This ambitious pirate captain has the dream of finding the One Piece and becoming the King of the Pirates. Despite being, probably, the dumbest anime character ever, Luffy's personality shine through so much that you just ignore that and love him. Just like any anime protagonist out there, Luffy will do whatever it takes to protect him friends, or crew in this case, and even any other innocent person. He declared war on the world government to protect Robin, saved Nami's homeland, saved an island from a violent uprising, took on the navy to save Ace, protected people on Amazon Lily despite being hated there originally. He may be not be the most loved person on the sea, but, just like so many people like him, he's truly an anime hero. He's also super funny and likeable. And all that Luffy is my favourite One Piece character and definitely one of my favourite anime protagonists ever. 18 M.C.U climaxes ranked

The M.C.U's climaxes are probably the best part of the movies, along with the characters themselves. And with Infinity War coming out in a couple of weeks and it'll probably have the biggest climax of all of them, I thought I'd look back on the 18 previous movies and rank their climaxes. Although, before I start, I just want to say that this will obviously be based on the climaxes, not the movies themselves. Just the order I like these climaxes the most and the one I enjoy the most. Also, this will have spoilers for all the M.C.U movies, so if you haven't seen them yet, go watch them and then read this. All right, let get started.

18. The Incredible Hulk:

Starting us off is the not that incredible climax to the only solo Hulk movie in the M.C.U. This film's climax is in the middle of Harlem right after Abomination is created. When Bruce falls from the helicopter he's in, he transforms into the Hulk in order to fight him. And the actual fight between the two of them is really cool and it's pretty satisfying. The only downside is the effects aren't that great and it's kinda repetitive just watching the two of them punch each other over and over. Yeah, it's cool to see these two characters fighting on the big screen, but, when you really think about it, it's kinda shallow and not that great compared to the other climaxes in the M.C.U.

17. Iron Man 2

To me, I feel this climax is both fulfilling and unfulfilling at the same time. And what I mean by that is the fact that, for one thing, it's cool to see Iron Man and War Machine on screen fighting a bunch of robots together and it's cool to see them fight Whiplash in his own armour, but at the same time, it feels kinda tacked on and underwhelming considering they build this up for the whole movie but it only lasts a couple of minutes. Still though, visual effect wise, this is awesome to see and it's cool to actually see an Iron Man action scene like this.
16. Thor: The Dark World:

While Thor: The Dark World may not be much of a memorable movie, but the climax in it is super creative when Thor is fighting Malekith. While it's happening, the portals they're using is zapping all of them in a bunch of different locations. They do a lot of real creative and enjoyable stuff with it and it was really fun to watch. Especially see Mjonir trying to go to Thor, but since he keeps changing location, it's going all over the place. That part of it I really enjoyed. I also liked the way the others were reacting to it all and using it their way as well.
15. Thor:

Speaking of Thor, I have the first Thor movie's climax at number 15. After the fight with the Destoryer, Thor and his friends go back to Asgard and goes after Loki. At first, he blasts him out of the building and then they fight inside the Bifrost. The actual hand-to-hand fight between them is great and I love the way they constantly use their weapons to fight each other. It even has more consequence to it when Thor begins to destroy the bridge to save the Frost Giants knowing it'll cost him the chance of not being able to go back to Jane.
14. Captain America: The First Avenger:

The first Captain America climax on here is from the first movie on board Red Skull's bomber plane. On the last mission to stop  Red Skull from destroying parts of America, Cap sneaks on board his plane and first disposes of some of his guards. Afterwards, he heads to the cockpit and he and Red Skull begin a fist fight. And it's well done and kinda brutal at cases when they're both just punching at each other. That whole part to it all is the best part when they're just wailing on each other. I also loved the end of it when Cap manages to get his shield and fling it at him knocking him into the Tesseract and it shoots him into space.
13. Ant-Man:

Now we get into one of the more enjoyable and creatively silly M.C.U climaxes. This takes a weird idea and makes it awesome. When he hears Cross is attacking his daughter, Scott goes in and the two of them begin a fight with both of them being super small and on a Thomas the Tank railroad set. How silly does that sound? But they still manage to make it so cool and unbelievable at the same time. And then it's cool when they're big again, but then Scott's able to beat him by destroying the pack-like thing on his back.
12. Iron Man:

The first M.C.U movie has a very satisfying end fight scene between Iron Man and Iron Monger. When Obadiah steals Tony's Arc Reactor to power his own suit, Tony is able to use his old one. When he gets to him, he stops Obadiah from killing Pepper and then they fight in the street. And, easily the best part of it is when they're both on the roof and Pepper is trying to make the reactor blast the roof the way Tony's telling her. Seeing Iron Man fight some other version of Iron Man was great and it looked awesome. It was also extremely satisfying to see Obadiah die by falling into the arc reactor.
11. Avengers: Age of Ultron:

While most of the fights in this movie do have some amazing visual effects and show the Avengers doing what they do best, you could say the climax isn't as investing at others. But, whatever you do say about it, there's no denying that it was still great on the visual effects part of it. And it absolutely was. I loved seeing the Avengers just use everything they had to destroy the huge army of Ultrons. And it even had some sad moments in there as well like when Quicksilver sacrifices himself to save Hawkeye. I especially love how this was Vision's first big action scene and he had some amount of stuff to do in it.
10. Doctor Strange:

Probably the most different type of climax in the M.C.U, this movie takes a complete different turn for the kinda climax you'd see in a comic book movie. For one, we get a great fight between Stephen and Mordo against Kaecilius and his men. But then Stephen uses the Time Stone to reverse time so we get to see the destruction of the town they're in in reverse going on around them the whole time. That alone is great to see. But then it becomes even bigger when we see Dormammu.
9. Guardians of the Galaxy:

Another one of those climaxes that's super creative, Guardians of the Galaxy has so much in it's climax, but it's all practically a visual marvel. (Heh, get it?) But seriously, all the things in this is really impressive. The way they have all these ships everywhere and these other effects all blasting each other is amazing. My favourite part is when they're on the Dark Aster killing a bunch of Ronan's men and trying to make it to him. It's also hilarious at the same time with so many funny moments happening.
8. Spider-Man: Homecoming:

Last year's Spider-Man: Homecoming was easily my favourite M.C.U movie of 2017, and the end climax with Spider-Man and the Vulture was amazing. Firstly they're on the Stark plane and Peter's trying to stop him from stealing a bunch of Tony's tech. And the visual effects on that only is spectacular. But then they cause the plane to crash which makes it look like all the tech is destroyed and Vulture's angry so he goes after Peter to kill him. And that fight alone where he's fighting Vulture is pretty brutal. Vulture's punching him with his metal gloves, he's making the claws on his feet to pierce him and he's pulling him off the ground and slamming him into it. But it gets even more amazing when Spidey decides to save him from when his wings explode and it looks like Vulture's dead. Seeing that is also why this is why the best Spider-Man movie ever, because it perfectly shows what Spider-Man really is. A teen superhero.
7. Iron Man 3:

For the last entry in the Iron Man trilogy, I would say this climax tries to go all out with it. When Tony and Rhodey are in the dock yard where Killian is holding the president with his soldiers, Tony summons dozens of his Iron Man suits there and we get an amazing action scene between Killian's men and the suits. Rhodey is also able to get his suit back and save the president, Tony is trying to find Pepper and then, when it looks like she died there's an awesome hand-to-hand fight scene with Tony fighting Killian with a bunch of his suits. I love that part, but I jest especially love the dozens of suits that show up and destroy the men. And, again, there's a ton of funny scenes happening the whole time it's going on.
6. Captain America: The Winter Soldier:

Probably one of the most investing climaxes there is here, the Winter Soldier has more to it than just fighting. With the three Helicarriers about the take off and start blasting people, Cap and Falcon have to get on them and change their targeting blades. And in between that, they're fighting off Hydra soldiers and Cap even has to fight Bucky, who's still being brainwashed. And the speed and energy in the fighting is incredible, especially anytime Falcon was flying around. And when the hand-to-hand fighting starts, that's also amazing. The best one is obviously when Cap and Bucky are fighting on the last Helicarrier.
5. Thor Ragnarok:

One of the more fun and energetic climaxes in the M.C.U, Thor: Ragnarok is able to use a popular song really well in it's action scene. And the climax itself is easily one of the best. It starts off with the Asgardians trying to escape from Hela as she was coming to them and then Thor draws her towards him using Odin's staff and sitting on the throne. And when he talks to Odin inside his head when Hela has him pinned down with everyone fighting her soldiers on the bridge, he's able to use his thunder form powers and he just blasts dozens of Hela's minions away. Watching all happen with that music playing was amazing. I also loved how it ended with Surtur destroying Asgard and Hela in the process.
4. The Avengers:

Probably the most iconic climax in the M.C.U, the Avengers has an incredible climax in New York with the Chitauri coming through the portal and the different Avengers quipping while destroying dozens of them and the fantastic Avengers music playing in the background. And all that coming together creates a perfect climax for the movie. It's just pure comic book insanity. There's really no other way to describe it. Everything a comic book fan could in an Avengers climax, this movie delivers immensely.
3. Captain America: Civil War:

I honestly might have put this at number 1, but I just found the next two to be more enjoyable and more fun to watch. Still though, this film's climax is perfect. When Zemo shows Tony a video of Bucky killing both of his parents, he gets super angry and tries to kill him despite the fact that Bucky wasn't controlling himself then. And when that happens, the next few minutes give us the perfect demonstration on how to do an action scene. Tony's trying to kill Bucky but Cap is trying to save him. The best part is when they all fall into the bottom of the place and start fighting hand-to-hand. And it' all fantastically directed and shot as well with the three characters throwing their fists. And it all leads to a really sad ending when Cap jams his shield into Tony's armour.
2. Black Panther:

The most recent M.C.U climax is at number 2. One of my favourite parts of this movie was the end fight scene in Wakanda with T'Challa, Shuri, Ross and their allies against Killmonger and his part of the Wakandian army. Everything in this is fantastic in my opinion. It's super fun, creative, investing and I just loved everything they put into it. It was especially great on the ground and I loved T'Challa and Killmonger's fight in the mine. Ryan Coogler deserves a lot of credit for being able to come up with a lot of this.
1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2:

And finally at number 1 is the climax to last year's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. This is definitely a personal pick, I know, but I love the ending to this movie, as well as the movie itself, and I think this ending is perfect. It's super colourful, funny, investing and, probably my favourite part of it is the interactions between everyone. The way they're all coming up with these plans to kill Ego and defeat  the Sovereign. Especially when Rocket is think of how to use the bomb to destroy him and when Yondu and Nebula are using her bionic arm to power the lasers. It's also funny and I especially love how colourful it all looks like everything you're seeing is real. Seeing all this happen with this incredible scenery is phenomenal to see. Remember how I said the Avengers' climax was comic book insanity? Well, to me, this double, or maybe even triples that. You could say the same about The Avengers, but this beats it in my opinion. And all that is why Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has my favourite M.C.U climax. My top 10 Sonic The Hedgehog songs

So my last entry was my top 15 Kingdom Hearts songs and pieces of music. However, the reason I thought of that was actually because I thought of this originally. I thought I should talk about my favourite game soundtrack before I spoke about this because it made more sense that way. And so now, I'm going to be talking about my top 10 favourite songs and bits of music from Sonic The Hedgehog. Making this list was actually easier to do because I've been thinking about it a lot and I've been listening to a lot from the Sonic soundtrack for a while. There's so many pieces of music from Sonic that gets me really pumped up and make me want to start running really fast and start imagining adventure. That might sound really weird, but I love doing that. It always gives me energy. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.

10. Fight The Knight (Sonic And The Black Knight):

Starting us off is the King Arthur boss fight music from Sonic And The Black Knight. While this game itself may not be anyone's favourite Sonic game for very strong reasons, and it's certainly not one of my favourites, the actual music in it is, mostly, really good. And my favourite is the song playing over the boss fight against King Arthur. Well, not the real King Arthur, but, if you've played the game, you know what I'm talking about. And this song is so cool. It's only three lines said once and then repeated, but the actual lyrics in the song are so cool and great to listen to.

9. In The Forest (Sonic The Hedgehog 2006):

Now we get into the actual music parts of Sonic the Hedgehog. As I said before, I personally think Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 has the best Sonic soundtrack ever. It might not sound a lot like Sonic if you were to ever think about it, but the actual soundtrack itself is so fantastic. And the of the soundtrack from that game that's on this list is In The Forest. This is played over the scene when Sonic and Elise are talking in the forest by that flower tree, also, that whole scene itself looks really great. And, with that, the music accompanying that scene is amazing and sounds really beautiful.

8. Live And Learn (Sonic Adventure 2):

One of the earlier Sonic songs I've ever heard and really got into was Live and Learn. I remember first hearing this song when it played in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I then began to listen to it more regularly. It's not exactly one that's super memorable when it comes to anything besides the chores, but it's all still great to listen to listen to. And, really, the best I can say about it is that it's fun to listen to given how great the lyrics are. And even now, I still love having it on when I'm doing running myself.

7. Sonic Heroes Theme Song (Sonic Heroes):

When listening to this song as a young kid, I remember being invigorated by it. And even now, it's still a great sound. Just like a lot of other Sonic songs out there, it only keeps getting better the more it goes. And I especially love the end part where it sorta gets louder and we see Metal Sonic in it. If you've seen the game's intro, then you know what I'm talking about. And I love how this song actually has an association with Sonic. It's not some random song that doesn't mean anything to the game itself. This one is talking about Sonic and it makes it all the more better in my opinion. I love when theme songs do that.
6. Running Through The Plains (Sonic The Hedgehog 2006):

Another bit from the Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 soundtrack is Running Through The Plains. This is played when Sonic and Elise are going back to Soleanna when their on a hill or a field. The whole thing sounds really nice at the start and especially at the 0:31 spot. I always listening to that part in particular whenever I listen to it because it sounds great. And given the scene it's playing over, as in that spot I just mentioned, it makes that part even better for me in my opinion, and I hope you all felt that way when you heard it too.

5. Parade: Past Memories (Sonic The Hedgehog 2006):

At number 5 is the actual last bit of music from Sonic '06, Parade: Past Memories. After Elise blows out Solaris and time goes back, we see the Festival of the Sun again and this beautiful music plays over the whole scene. Just like all the others I've mentioned, just the sound of it is amazing and I love it. I especially love the very end of it. I don't know what instruments they used for it, but the people using them sure do know how to play them. And together, they make a fantastic ending scene music piece.

4. Just Smile (Sonic The Hedgehog 2006):

The last Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 music on this list is Just Smile. This is just like the other '06 music I've mentioned and this one is particular is my favourite from that game. It's super peaceful sounding and it perfectly fits the scene it's playing over. It starts off really nice peaceful and it sorta stays that way throughout the whole thing, but it's still amazing to hear from start to finish. This is the actual non-battle Sonic music I've listened to the most because it's such a great experience for the ears, if you know what I mean.

3. Endless Possibilities (Perfect Dark Gaia) (Sonic Unleashed):

Next up is the final boss music from Sonic Unleashed against Dark Gaia. Or really Perfect Dark Gaia. And this is probably the most epic Sonic music I've ever heard. It's a battle instrumental version of the song Endless Possibilities and the entire thing is epic to hear. Remember how I said I love imagining scenes of my own with Sonic the Hedgehog music playing when I'm out running? Well, this is probably the one I use the most, along with the next two you're about to see. But this one is truly amazing in my opinion. Just the sound of it is epic and there's never a minute when I'm bored. It's so invigorating listening to it and I love the way it keeps building and it makes me so energetic when I do hear it.

2. What I'm Made Of (Sonic Heroes):

Coming in close to number 1 is another final boss song, What I'm Made Of. It was kinda hard for me to decide which one I liked more, this one or the ending music of Endless Possibilities against Dark Gaia. But, I decided to go with this one because this one, I sorta feel, gives me more exhilaration whenever I hear it. As well as the fact that it's so much fun to listen to with it's amazing uses of instruments and how fast paced it sounds. As I said before, I love to imagine scenes whenever I listen to a lot of these Sonic soundtracks, and this is one of the biggest examples of that. This is played over the final boss of Sonic Heroes against Metal Sonic. Sonic is in Super Sonic form and he has Tails and Knuckles with him and this song is over the whole fight. I love it so much and it sounds so amazing. And the funny part of it is I only recently began listening to it a lot and it quickly became one of my favourites.

And my number 1 favourite Sonic song is... Endless Possibilities (Sonic Unleashed):

And finally at number 1 is another song I could consider to be one of my favourite songs of all time, Endless Possibilities. Again, it was kind of a toss-up with this one. I was sorta wondering which should be number 1, so I just listened to all my Sonic soundtracks on my iPod and this is the one I personally enjoy listening to the most. This is actual real version of the song Endless Possibilities, as appose to the other which was a more upbeat and epic instrumental version. But this actual song version of it is another song I might consider to be one of my favourite songs ever. It just sounds so awesome. It's the end credit song for Sonic Unleashed and it's the perfect choice. The singing in it is fantastic and the music going along with it is also really amazing and impressive. I don't even really know the best way to describe it. I just love how the song sounds and how exhilarating it also sounds. I don't know what else to say about it. It's just so good and so amazing and so enjoyable to listen to. And all that is why Endless Possibilities is my favourite Sonic song. My top 15 Kingdom Hearts songs

One of the many amazing and great things about Kingdom Hearts is the phenomenal music that's in every game. The music and songs in Kingdom Hearts is some of the best I've ever heard. As I said before, Yoko Shimomura is my favourite composer, and with the Kingdom Hearts series, she outdoes herself every single time with the music and I feel the same way for Hikaru Utada, as in the singer. They're both so talented with what they do and this series wouldn't be the same without them. Also, like some of my other entries like this before, I'll be showing the clip and then talking about it. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
15. Roxas' Theme:

Starting us off at the list is the main theme for Roxas. A lot of the characters have their own themes, and one of my favourites is Roxas' theme. I love how great the sound of it is and just how well it's used in so many of the scenes. I would say it's used the best in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days when he was lying on the ground after his fight with Riku and Xion was telling him something in his head about her, him and Sora. I'm not gonna lie, thinking of that whole scene and this music in it kinda gets me a little emotional inside.
14. Xion's Theme:

Sure, this theme was only used one and that was towards the end of 358/2 Days, but it was used really effectively. During the scene where Xion is disappearing, this music is played and it's really emotional and sad. Obviously, the scene itself is really sad, but this music makes it even sadder from the way it sounds. But it a nice sound and I love how it does sound. It's at its best at the start for me, but the rest is still great to hear and I love how emotionally effective it is.
13. Don't Think Twice:

Next up is actually the next theme song for Kingdom Hearts 3 that we got in the trailer in February. It's short and I doubt this is the full song, but, from what we hear from it, it sounds great. I can't wait to hear what the full song sounds like. Just from this short version of it though, again, it sounds great and I can't wait to see how it sounds like in the actual game. I don't think it's as good as Simple and Clean or Sanctuary, but, it's still great to hear.
12. Naminé's Theme:

Something that a lot of these Kingdom Hearts tracks are great at are making pieces of music that's really soothing and calm and just really nice to listen to. And Naminé's theme is no exception. Just the sound of it is so calming and peaceful that it's something that could be played for any calming session.
11. Riku's Theme:

I think I mainly pick this theme due to a memory I have with it when I was at a family member's house playing Dream Drop Distance and I was watching the part when Riku was looking for Sora in the World That Never Was. It's not even a sad memory or anything like that, but I get emotional every time I think of that with that great scene and this music playing over it. I love the great sound of it and I love how it's used in scenes like the one I just mentioned and also in Kingdom Hearts 2 when Riku goes back to normal.
10. Treasured Memories:

I actually don't remember that many cases of this one being in the series that much, the only time I actually do remember it being used was Roxas' "dreams" at the beginning in Kingdom Hearts 2. Just what's being shown in those scenes along with the voices and this music being played over it made it stand out especially for me. I love how it all blends together so well to make something that's phenomenal to me.
9. Vim and Vigour:

At number 9 is the first battle music in the series. Obviously combat is what the series is best know for to a lot of people, and music plays a huge part in that. This one in particular is played whenever you fight against certain enemies in the series. I think it's kinda smaller villains in the series. Whatever it is, it always sounds great with some thrilling sequences taking places in a lot of the fights when it plays. I love the energy in it and how it feels like it never lets up.
8. The Encounter:

When it comes to battle music in Kingdom Hearts, the Encounter is my favourite. Every bit of it is amazing. Just the sound is good enough, but I also love how it keeps building and building. Especially around the middle part. It plays whenever you fight against any Disney villains like Hades, Jafar, Oogie Boogie, the Spirit of the Magic Mirror, Scar, Maleficent and so many more. This is how to do an epic hero vs. villain battle music. It's huge with intensity in the music and I can't get enough listening to it.
7. Sora's Theme:

At number 7 is the theme for the main character in the series, Sora's Theme. Being the big star of the series, Sora deserves a huge sounding theme and it delivers with it sounding like something huge has happened to him. I think I like it the most in Kingdom Hearts 2 when he wakes up in the pod. But there's other great uses of it too, like when he gets his new outfit from the fairies or when Riku find out he's awakes inside Yen Sid's tower.
6. Kairi's Theme:

Another one of the Kingdom Hearts themes that sounds peaceful and fitting for the character is Kairi's theme. And this theme perfectly embodies Kairi's personality as well. Sweet, gentle and caring. The uses of this theme is genius like the scene with Sora and Kairi together at the beginning of the first game and then seeing Kairi again for the first time in Kingdom Hearts 2. I think, again, the best part of it isn't how great it is, which it absolutely is, but also just how well it describes the character of Kairi in a way.
5. Simple and Clean:

Probably the most famous song in the whole series, Simple and Clean is a great beginning song for the series. While I may have said before that 0.2's version of this song was my favourite when I heard it in the trailer for 2.8, I recently went back and listened to the original a lot more and it got even better for me. I love how it starts off with it having a mysterious start with the lyrics and it keeps going with some more engaging lyrics. Although, I'm really curious to know what people's first reactions were when they first saw this opening with this song. I mean, the opening of the first game just showed Sora falling from a lot of things and seeing Riku and Kairi. It didn't show anything in terms of story, it's like it showed some strange visuals, so I'm curious to know what people's first impressions were with that. But, aside from that, the song is a great one with great lyrics and terrific bits of music in it.
4. Sora's Sacrifice:

Probably the biggest surprise in the first Kingdom Hearts game was the scene where it looks like Sora sacrifices himself for Kairi. And when it looks like he has, it's accompanied with this amazing music. Music like this makes me wonder how Yoko Shimomura is such an amazing composer if she can do tremendous work like this. It's incredible at the start with the choir and then it's followed with fantastic work on a piano and then the choir again at the end. I like to imagine scenes of my own even going along with this scene a lot.
3. Ven's Theme:

When it comes to character themes in Kingdom Hearts, Ven's theme is my favourite. I loved this but of music the first time I heard it. Again, like a lot of the other pieces of music I've talked about, I love the sound of it and how well it fits in so many scenes in Birth By Sleep. Even in some of the other games in the series when we hear it like in Dream Drop Distance.
2. Dearly Beloved:

Coming in close to number 1 is probably the most famous Kingdom Hearts music and the most relaxing music I may have ever heard. And, yeah, it sounds amazing. It's in the main menu of every Kingdom Hearts game and the result chart of every game as well. My favourite version of the opening one is the one I just showed you all in Kingdom Hearts 2. It's a lot of other people's favourite from the series. And, while it's not my personal favourite, I can easily see why and I totally imagine it being used in real-life scenarios, as weird as that might sound.
And my number 1 favourite Kingdom Hearts song is... Sanctuary/Passion:

And finally at number 1 is, maybe, my favourite song of all time, Sanctuary/Passion. The reason I say it like that is because it's called Sanctuary in the English version and Passion in the Japanese version. I'm also including both of them because they both sound great and I love them in the opening version and the end credits version. I listen to this song all the time and the lyrics along with the music are amazing. Just this song alone should show why Hikaru Utada is such a genius and an amazing singer. There could not of been a better choice for it. I also love the music that plays after the end credits version. It makes it feel so huge and epic. It's also like with Simple and Clean where the lyrics are so well chosen and it creates something this incredible to hear all the time, which I almost always do. I honestly couldn't pick a better song to choose as my favourite song of all time, and all that is why Sanctuary/Passion is my favourite Kingdom Hearts song, and my favourite song, of all time.
