The Punisher: Season 1 teaser

So with the release of Defenders just happened today and I just did my review of it, we also got a teaser trailer for the first season of the Punisher which will be out later this year. I can't for it. Jon Bernthal as the Punisher was one of the best parts of Daredevil: Season 2, so seeing more of him in his own show, yeah, I know this'll be great. And this teaser, as short as it is, seems really cool and really violent, which is exactly what the Punisher is. And so, here it is and I hope you all enjoy.

The Defenders: Season 1

And so everyone, we're finally here at one of the biggest superhero related entertained of the year, the Defenders. This was one of my most anticipated things of the whole year. I've loved almost all the previous M.C.U shows and I've loved all the trailers we've been getting including this new one we got yesterday.

And so I was obviously really excited for it and I managed to watch the whole show in just a few hours. Also, this will have spoilers and sorry this is coming out so fast, but I'm going on holidays tomorrow so I won't be writing anything for a week. Anyway, yeah, if you don't want anything spoiled, go see the show if you want, then come back and read this. All right, you've been warned. So, as I just said, I was super excited for this show and I was hoping they learned from the mistakes of Iron Fist. And did they? Yeah, they absolutely did. I loved the Defenders. Which I know is a bit of a stretch already, but this show was so much fun. I don't know if I can say it was perfect, but I still loved it. The basic plot of this is that the Hand have finally made their move and they've managed to resurrect Electra from the dead now calling her the Black Sky like we saw in Daredevil: Season 2. And so now, Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Danny Rand have assembled with the help of Stick to try to take down the Hand. And that's what's important about this show. The fact that this is like the Avengers but for these Netflix heroes. We're also getting a new villain in this named Alexandra played by Sigourney Weaver and we learn a lot more about the Hand as well and their connection to K'un-Lun. And that was awesome. And while it is that, I think the best part is the same with the Avengers, seeing these heroes we've seen meeting and interacting. And seeing them interacting is just the same as the Avengers did, which is fantastic. One group in particular with Luke and Danny who are best friends in the comics, so that makes sense. And we get to see a lot of the other side characters from the other shows as well like Karen, Foggy, Colleen, Misty, Stick and, of course, Claire. And the whole story centred around all of them and the heroes and the Hand was great. I mean, with the heroes trying to take them down. Something else this show succeeds at is the runtime. And I don't mean in actual time, I mean the amount of episodes. With all the other shows, they were always 13 episodes, but here, we get 8 episodes which I think works because I think that's one thing that made the other shows, especially Iron Fist, kinda drag on a little. But, because it's only 8 episodes, the story of the show manages to keep it in it's own story and it didn't have to divert it into any subplots. And all the actors give really great performances here. Well, okay, almost all. Finn Jones seems to be a little better this time. There are some times when he doesn't seem that great, but for the majority, I do think he's better this time. Especially since the writing for him seems to be better too. And everyone else is amazing. Charlie Cox, Kristen Ritter and Mike Colter are of course fantastic, but everyone all around does a great job too. And the action in this is really great too. Unlike Iron Fist that kinda suffered from having some pretty bad action scenes like the choreography and editing problems, this show fixes that and we get some absolutely amazing fight scenes. This is, again, another R-rated show and it doesn't shy away from being super brutal. There were quite a few moments that made my mouth drop. Especially the scene in the building at the end when Bakuto cut off Misty's arm and then Colleen cuts his head off. Although, that's in the comics too. In the comics, Misty does have a robotic arm, so maybe we'll see that soon. And speaking of scenes that made my mouth drop, there was the death of Stick. That honestly really shocked me and it was kind of a sad scene. And the actual ending to the show was also good, where it looks like Matt is dead when he tried to get through to Electra. Although, we see him being taken care of by some mysterious people at the very, very end. I guess we'll know who they are in Season 3 of Daredevil. And speaking of Matt and Electra, their relationship was great. But, in my opinion, the best connection like that, in my opinion, is the relationship between Danny and Colleen, which was one of the best parts of Iron Fist. And, like I said, the interactions with these characters was amazing and I was so excited to see these four heroes team up and fight together inside that building when we first saw them all together and fighting together. However, I think we should talk about the few problems I have with this show. It may be close to perfect, but it's not. For one thing, even though I liked how the show only had 8 episodes, there were some parts of the pacing, especially in the first and second episodes that were, not bad, but, I sorta feel like they were trying to reintroduce us into these characters again. And I understand, but with the fact that it's only 8 episodes and they had to get through this as fast as possible, I guess, it did seem a little too slow for me at the start. I was entertained, but still. And also, I found it strange that we didn't see them all come together until the end of episode 3. Though, again, it wasn't bad, I just think that maybe they coulda done it a little fast like maybe the end of episode 2 or the start of episode 3. And, I also found it weird that we didn't see Matt as Daredevil until episode 6. Which is something I thought about. It was said that after Electra died, he stopped being Daredevil for over a year. Which, I gotta say, reminds me a lot of other superhero movies like the Dark Knight Rises and the Amazing Spider-Man 2. But, also, I think maybe the biggest problem I have is a sorta conflict that goes on between the four of them with Danny because the Hand wants to use him to open the door but the others want to keep him safe. I think that that didn't really need to be there and they might have been trying to do a lot of things that the M.C.U movies were doing with sorta having their heroes have small conflicts at times. But, overall, the Defenders might be the most fun I've had with these M.C.U Netflix shows. I don't know if I can say it's the best, but it is my favourite and I had so much fun with watching these four heroes interact. This was a great way to end the M.C.U Netflix phase one of shows and I can't wait for phase two, just like the movies. It's fun, funny, it has great action and performances, mostly, a great villain with Alexandra and it was definitely worth the wait. Thank you all so much for read. My top 10 Stan Lee cameos

Where there's a Marvel movie, there's bound to be a cameo from Stan the man himself. So here, I'm looking at 10 Marvel movies and deciding which of them were my favourite. Being the most famous person at Marvel an the creator to some of the greatest superheroes of all time, Stan has appeared in almost every Marvel movie ever made. So here I'm counting down my top 10 favourites. So, here we go and I hope you all enjoy.
10. Hulk:

Starting us off is Stan's cameo from the original terrible Hulk movie from 2003. While the movie itself may have been a huge let down, the Stan Lee cameo was probably the best part of it. When Bruce is going to the science facility, Stan comes out talking to a security guard, which is also a cameo because the guard is played by Lou Ferrigno who played the Hulk in the 70's Incredible Hulk show. And seeing Stan coming out and talking to guy like that was cool.
9. Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer:

In the sequel to the 2005 Fantastic 4, Reed Richards and Sue Storm are getting married, Stan appears as a wedding guest who gets kicked out for the guy not believing it's actually him. Huh, not being allowed to come to the wedding of characters you created. How's that for irony?
8. Thor:

In this tale of a god banished to Earth, he also loses his hammer with a ton of guys trying to lift it. And one of the guys is Stan trying to lift it by trying a chain around it and driving truck to pull it free, but it fails, obviously. And it's both hilarious and jarring that he'd try something like that.
7. Captain America: The Winter Soldier:

One of the recent Marvel movies to come out in the last couple of years is Stan's appearance in 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In his cameo in this movie, Stan plays a security guard in the Captain America museum realising the Captain America costume that was up for display has been stolen and he knows he's going to get fired.
6. Captain America: Civil War:

Another one of the most recent Marvel movies and another Captain America movie is Stan's cameo from Captain America: Civil War. After we go from this sad and heart-breaking scene with Cap and Bucky vs. Iron Man, we get this hilarious scene of Stan as a Fed Ex delivery man delivering a box to Tony from Steve while also not getting his name right. Both beyond funny and a great shift in tone, this cameo make it's mark as one of the best Stan Lee cameos ever to me.
5. Avengers: Age of Ultron:

Next up is Stan's appearance in the first team-up movie on this list. At the Avenger's party inside the new Avengers Tower, Stan shows up as a man who doubts Thor's story on his drink. When Thor tells everyone about a drink that's been around for a long time and wouldn't be able to be digested by a mortal, Stan doesn't believe him and asks for some which makes him feel woozy and say his popular catchphrase, "Excelsior."
4. Ant-Man:

The other movie to come out of 2015, this scene come from the ending of this superhero heist movie. When Luis is telling Scott about Sam, he mentions how his cousin was talking to a bar tender and the bar tender is Stan. Being completely unpredictable, this last minute cameo was an amazing thing to see. Especially when we hear Luis's voice coming from him like the other characters we see Luis talking about.
3. The Avengers:

Stan's appearance in his famous team's first big screen movie is at number 3. After the battle of Manhattan against the Chitauri, the Avengers are celebrated on TV screen watched by Nick Fury. And on one of these screens is Stan saying he even doubts the existence of superheroes at all. Both a huge shock and strange, this hilarious scene was funny even with it's first second.
2. The Amazing Spider-Man:

Probably the most famous Stan Lee cameo of all time is in the first Amazing Spider-Man. When Spider-Man and the Lizard crash into the library, Stan Lee is listening to music as a librarian not noticing anything that's going on. Being hilarious and unreal, this cameo stands out as one of the best ever. And it's also funny that he's completely oblivious from the madness and action behind him with no sound other than the music on his headphones.
And my number 1 favourite Stan Lee cameo is... Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2:

And finally at number 1 is Stan's cameo from one of the most recent Marvel movies, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. When Rocket, Yondu and Baby Groot are going flying off to Ego's planet, we see Stan on a rock surface talking to the Watchers. So that sorta makes fun of the theory of him being the Watcher. And he's telling them about his different cameos in these movies. The one we hear him talking about are when he played the Fed Ex guy in Civil War last year. It was awesome and it was great to get a cameo from him that acknowledged the other cameos as well. That was amazing. And it was also great when it appeared in the after-credit scene. My top 5 Kingdom Hearts facts

With Kingdom Hearts 3 getting closer and closer with every single day, I thought today I would count down the five most interesting facts about Kingdom Hearts itself. And by that, I mean the interesting facts behind it and stuff like that. I've heard so many things about the behind the scenes of the franchise and even the more obvious stuff to do with it as well, so I wanted to make this list counting down the best and most interesting facts around it. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
5. Dream Drop Distance was the 10th anniversary: Starting us off is the most obvious on this and that's the fact that Dream Drop Distance was made in 2012, as in 10 years since the first one was made. With that happening, the people behind it wanted to make something really special. And they of course did by making that amazing game, but they also included something in the game if you got it at a certain time at the time of it's release. An by that I mean they included, like, these pin things and other things like that. I think that that was cool and just the fact that they reached a 10th year is really something.
4. Kingdom Hearts 2 and Dream Drop Distance are the only Kingdom Hearts games to win any awards: Probably not a huge thing to point out, but it's still pretty cool to me that the Kingdom Hearts games, while not the popular games ever, even though I wish they were, are still well received by hundreds of people all over the world. And so the fact that a couple o them have won awards. Kingdom Hearts 2 won the award for Outstanding Game Based on a Previous Medium, and Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance won the award for Best Vocal Ensemble in a Video Game. And that's awesome. They're the best Kingdom Hearts games so they should win awards.
3. Kingdom Hearts 0.2 and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the only Kingdom Hearts games so far to be made in the Unreal Engine 4: One of the biggest differences between all the previous Kingdom Hearts games before Kingdom Hearts 0.2 and now 3 is that they were never made in the Unreal Engine 4. But now 0.2 already has and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be too. And the Unreal Engine is amazing. The graphics it's making for the games so far look like the best graphics I've ever seen in a video game. And so when Kingdom Hearts 3 does come out, I can't wait to see how terrific they look.
2. Sora was supposed to look like Mickey Mouse: Now we get into the super, super interesting facts about it. So, you're never going to believe this. So apparently before the game ever started being made, Square Enix wanted to make Mickey Mouse be the main character and Disney wanted Donald  to be the main character, but then Tetsuya Nomura decided to make up a new character who was reminiscent of Mickey in a way. So, that's how Sora was created and in the first game, his clothes looked like Mickey's.


See with the red baggy pants, the white gloves and the big yellow shoes. And so yeah, I think that was a pretty cool move to make on Nomura's part.
And the number 1 biggest Kingdom Hearts fact is... The plan for Kingdom Hearts came from a talk in an elevator: This might be a huge shock to you if you've never heard about it, but this did actually happen. Apparently how Kingdom Hearts happened was a Disney executive and a Square Enix producer were in an elevator together and when they were, they thought of an idea together to make a game that included Final Fantasy characters and Disney characters. And, while that may have seemed strange by saying it back then, that one conversation turned into an amazing franchise that a lot of people have loved for many years, myself included. And it's so strange that this entire thing started from just two people from both companies talking inside an elevator and this happening even after all these years. The Lion Guard: Let Sleeping Crocs Lie

And now we've come to the latest Lion Guard episode and the last one to come out for this month, Let Sleeping Crocs Lie. When I first heard about this, I was excited, but not super excited because, before the recent Rise of Scar episode, the episodes, weren't bad, but I don't think they were as good as the ones from a little earlier. They were still good, but some of them weren't very put together or thought out. There was one exception like the Savannah Summit. But, my point is that ever since, probably, the episode The Trail to Udugu to the Rise of Scar, there hasn't been an episode that super stuck out as anything that great. But because of the Rise of Scar, which was really, really good, say for the ending, I was really excited for this. And it didn't disappoint. I feel this episode joins the early episodes as being really fantastic. And it's really nice to say that again. And so, let look at the story and this is going to have spoilers so if you haven't seen it yet and you want to, go see it and then read this. So, what's the story? It opens up with the Guard guiding a bunch of antelopes into a canyon. But Ono has them go by a cave where Makuu and the other crocodiles are resting for the dry season. They wake them up and because of that, they can't go back to sleep for the dry season. So now the crocs have to go to a watering hole for the season but most of them are taken. So Makuu goes to talk to Simba about it but then one crocodile named Kibari doesn't like this so he and the other crocs go to find a watering hole to take. But Ushari is also listening and reports it to Scar they're still able to talk to in the volcano in the Outlands and he suggests using a plan to trick Kibari into calling for a mashindano like we saw Makuu doing to Pua. So he does and he and the other crocs, except for Makuu, make a plan for this to be a distraction while they kill Simba while no one's looking. But Ono sees them and the Guard stop them and then Kibari and his other two crocodile gang are banished to the Outlands. There, they meet Ushari who shows them to Scar and him, Ushari, those crocs, the hyenas and vultures begin to make a plan to defeat everyone in the Pride Lands. So, right up front, this episode's plot is definitely a huge improvement over the past few episodes. And something that's kind of a great thing to me is that Makuu is officially a good guy now, which I like. He went from this really despicable villain to this really likeable character. Again, I'm not sure why he decided to change, but I'm glad he did because he's so likeable here. And the entire basic structure is brilliant too. They also do what I thought they were going to do from the last episode and that's have the villains, in this case Ushari, talk to Scar and ask for a plan or for advice and I liked that. Kibari is an okay villain, but he's not one of the best. Not bad though and I guess it's cool to have a different crocodile villain. The whole mashindano scene was cool again and when it started, I was kinda worried that they were going to redo the same thing they did with Pua and Makuu and have Makuu lose. But that didn't happen. I also liked the reaction on Kibari's face when he realised that his plan failed and Simba was just fine. And so I was kinda thinking that maybe they would do a rehash of Makuu because they wanted to have that kinda character again. But thankfully they didn't and I'm glad they didn't because if they did, then, yeah, that woulda been kinda pointless. But they didn't and I liked the scene that took place after the mashindano when the banished crocs go to the Outlands and are then brought to Scar who still in flames. So I guess they are doing that as a continuing thing now like I thought, which is cool. Scar also has a song here and it's... fine. Not one of the better ones like the one from the previous episode, but still fine. And the design of Kibari is pretty cool. If you look at him you easily tell he's not a good guy. I also liked the scene at Pride Rock when Simba and Makku with them trying to figure this out. And it's also kinda funny because Ono thinks he's going to get into trouble so the others try to tell him that he'll be fine but Bunga keeps worrying him. And I liked the ending with all the villains, except for the jackals and the Outsiders, in the volcano trying to think of a plan to take out Simba's reign. So I'm hoping that they do something really big with that in the future. So overall, this is another really good episode and another one that's sort of an improvement over the past few aside from the Rise of Scar. Again, there isn't really a whole lot to say except this is another enjoyable episode and I can't wait for the next bunch of episodes next month. My top 20 Disney movies

Well, everybody, this is a long time coming. I've been thinking of doing a real and proper top list of my favourite Disney movies of all time. And so thankfully from me thinking of it a lot lately, yeah, I've decided to do an actual list of my favourite Disney movies ever. Although, like other lists I've done, there are going to be some rules here. The first one is that this is Disney only, so there won't be any Pixar movies or Marvel or Star Wars. The next is that I'll be talking about real feature length movies so this won't have TV movies on here like the Lion Guard: Return Of The Roar or anything like that. Another is that some of the movies here will be different to how I ranked them in other entries, and that's because, over time as I see a movie more and more, my opinion can change so remember that. The next is that this will be covering every kinda Disney movie like that like Disney Classics, straight to video movies, live action and all sorts of movies like that. These are also all my opinions, so if your lists are different, that's great. This is just my personal list of what my favourite Disney movies are. And also, this isn't a rule, just something I wanna say here. I think I really want to do this because, well, yes, I do want to, but also because soon I'll be going to Disneyland because my family's taking me there for my birthday present. So I think it'll be a great idea to do this and from a person like me who's one of the biggest Disney fans ever. And, come on, Disney is like family to everyone and everyone has they're own list of what their favourite Disney movies ever. And that's great. Everyone should have a list like that because Disney is maybe the only real kinda magic in the world and everyone should love it no matter what. And so, let's begin. I can't wait and I hope you all like this.
20. Tangled:

Staring off the list is Classic number 50. This might annoy some people because they'd most likely want to see it higher on the list because this is actually a pretty popular Disney movie. But, while I have said before that I think this movie's a tad bit overrated and I don't like it as much as everyone else does, this is still a great movie. They managed to make this old fairy tale into a super creative, funny, fun and exciting movie too. They really had the best animation at the time back then and it really shows. And, while I personally don't think it's one of Disney top 10 best and think the songs aren't very good, I still always a great time every time I see it and I'm happy to put it at number 20.
19. Peter Pan:

Next up is Disney's animated movie of this famous story. This is practically Disney's answer to a boy's fantasy with every kinda basic thing they'd want with this adventure, comedy, pirates, Indians, sword fights, flying and all that sorta stuff. And they manage to nail down every character really fantastically like Peter being a cocky and sure of himself while also being very likeable. And they have really amazing moments like the comedy with Captain Hook. And the animation is also incredible. Some of my favourite hand drawn animation ever. The whole journey of it is amazing and even the other side characters like Wendy, John, Michael, the Lost Boys, Smee and the Indians are all likeable and some of them are pretty cool too. I also love the who setting of Neverland. How it's this huge island that's kind of a forest with all these sorta magical things in it. And the slapstick here is the best Disney ever done, especially anything to do with Captain Hook and the crocodile.

18. Hercules:

When I look back on my childhood and what movies I watched a lot of the time, this is one of the biggest examples. Even to this day my dad and I still love to watch this movie a lot. And it's true. I think this is one of the more underrated Disney Classics out there because, while people do like it, I don't think people talk about it a lot and it doesn't get the respect I feel it deserves. For one, the characters are really great here. Hercules himself is a super likeable, funny, naïve and great hero. Phil is easily the funniest character in the movie and he's one of the funniest Disney characters ever in my opinion. Meg is a pretty good love interest with being a sneering face and good one liners every once in a while with some sympathetic scenes in there. Hades is a cool villain and a really funny one too. Pain and Panic are good servants to him and they're stupidity is some of funniest parts of the movie. The animation and action in this is also great. Some of Disney's best animated action in my opinion, especially the Hydra fight and just so many other things here are so great. The whole look to the movie is great too with doing this unique thing with the designs that makes everything look like it's really mythological, which, I do think was intentional with that being what the movie is based around. And I think it's also a great story of trying to figure out who you are and where you really belong. That whole thing I think is really engrossing and even kinda tragic at the beginning when Herc is leaving to find the temple. But besides that, this movie is mainly here from how much fun it is.
17. Tron:

Now we get into the live action movies. And starting us off with that category is Tron. You've all most likely seen the review I did for this movie last year and so if you have, then you know what I think of it. And everything I said there I still stand by. It really holds up even after being made in the '80's and the premise, cast and C.G.I in it is extraordinary. The film's story is super interesting and  I feel like the movie itself gets better and better the more times I watch it. I especially love the journey of the movie with them trying to reach the M.C.P. And while we're on the characters, upon rewatching this movie again recently, Tron himself has actually grown to be one of my favourite characters ever. Flynn is good too and Sark is a pretty cool side villain. Ram and Yori are really good too and they're good additions for the movie too. The C.G.I in this is amazing and really impressive for 1982. The entire look to everything is really creative and really nicely designed. The cinematography is also great and I like how they sorta play with your eyes a little by sorta having you guessing where you are in the movie, especially during the beginning. Overall, I love Tron and I think it's pretty underrated. Sure it sorta loses points because of Tron: Legacy, which I still don't like and I think that movie sorta ruins this franchise, but the original is still great to me and I have even more fun every time I watch it.
16. Sleeping Beauty:

I know, it's kinda strange that I'm putting Sleeping Beauty as my sixteenth favourite Disney movie because it is the Disney Classic number 16 and because it all revolves around Aurora's sixteenth birthday, but I've gotta put it where I feel it really deserves to go. Still though, this is one of my favourite Disney movies for pretty obvious reasons. Amazing villain, side characters, animation, pace, action, style, creativity, effects, twists and just about everything in it, say for the main characters, are amazing. The main characters aren't bad, but they're not in the movie enough and they're not given enough development. Not bad though and I still love this movie. It has so many iconic moments and the end climax is one of the best Disney climaxes ever.
15. The Hunchback of Notre Dame:

Probably the darkest Disney Classic ever, the Hunchback of Notre Dame is kind of an interesting movie. And by that, I mean it's interesting how everything happens. I mean, this is Disney's adaptation of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. This super dark and adult story. But with that, they do a fantastic job with it. Quasimodo is one of the most likeable and sympathetic Disney characters ever. Frollo is a super awesome villain and probably one of, if not maybe, the darkest Disney villain of the Disney Classics. The size of this movie is also gigantic. With every frame of the movie, they try to show just how big everything is. Especially with Notre Dame itself. The comic relief are great here in my opinion with the gargoyles. I'm sorry to the people who don't like them, but I personally do, and the heart breaking moments are really effective, which is really saying something because there's a lot of them here. The climax is also really intense and even brutal at points. Speaking of which, there's a lot of moments in here that I'm surprised didn't cause this movie to get a PG rating, especially with a lot of the themes they address here. But it's really effective and I feel like it never goes over the top when touching on those. And thankfully there are fun moments that up a little so it's not super depressing. And the songs are also incredible with them actually getting a Latin choir for the choir scenes, Hellfire is one of the best ever in my opinion, Topsy Turvy is a pretty fun and funny one and all the rest are great too. Overall this is a super fun and dark Disney that never tries to go too far with it's dark tone and they still manage to make it a great watch the whole way through.
14. Beauty and the Beast:

Another movie that I feel a lot of people will want to see higher because this original is one of the most beloved Disney movies ever. But, again, even though I do love this movie, I just don't have the same love for it that everyone else does. Still though, this is a fantastic movie and I do definitely love it. The characters are fantastic here, especially Belle herself, who's so likeable and even kinda one that you can look up to. The Beast is awesome and he has one of the best Disney designs ever. Gaston is an awesome villain with being charming, funny and intense. And all the others like Cogsworth, Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, Maurice, Le Fou and Chip are all likeable and even funny at times. The animation is also some of Disney's best and some of the most creative, especially with things like the design of the castle. It was also cool to see Disney handle this really famous story that they managed to put a great twist to it. The climax is also really dark and, and given the fact that it's a Disney Classic, it can get pretty brutal like when Gaston shoots the Beast and then stabs him with the knife. It was also such a huge landmark when it managed to get a Best Picture nomination, and it totally deserved it. The songs are all great and there's never one that feels out of place or feels forced. The opening one in the village builds the characters up really well and every other one are all creative and they're all super fun. Also, I have to say, out of all the Disney romances from the Disney Classics themselves, this might be the most believable one with Belle and Beast. I wouldn't usually care about that, but they did it so excellently here and there's never a moment where you don't believe it. And yeah, just everything in it looks beautiful like the castle and the designs of the locations in every shot. And all that is why the movie really is a tale as old as time.
13. Mary Poppins:

Now we come to the movie that practically made Disney into what it is in my opinion, Mary Poppins. This is a movie that was kind of a huge monster of a production when it was being made because of the author of the books, P.L Travers. She wanted it done her way but Walt himself wanted it done his way. And eventually we manage to get it his way. And I'm so glad we did because this is a truly magical movie. Julie Andrews wasn't that big when this was being made, but when it did come out, she was praised everywhere and by everyone. And yeah, it's just as amazing as you'd hope. This is easily one of the best Disney performances ever in my opinion. Everyone else is great too. Dick Van Dyke as Bert, who's actually one of the most underrated Disney characters in my opinion, David Tomlinson, Glynis Johns, Karen Dotrice, Matthew Garber, Ed Wynn, everyone all around does a great job. The movie's sets and costumes are really cool. The animated scene is super creative and really life like. The directing is fantastic, so is the music and songs. The cinematography and wire work are also amazing and there's never a moment in this where you're bored. And, when people say that this is Walt Disney's crowning achievement, yeah, they're not messing around. It's very easy to see why and this is pretty much all you need to know when people tell you that Disney is magic because, this is a super magical movie and it's, without a doubt, one of, if not, Walt Disney's greatest work ever.
12. Big Hero 6:

This actually could come off as kinda funny because at the start I said there wouldn't be any Marvel heroes on this list, but thankfully Disney managed to make it their own with this really emotional and action-packed movie. Firstly, Baymax is still one of my favourite Disney characters ever and he's easily the best part in my opinion. And the entire look to it all like the design of San Fransokyo is super creative and so is the animation designs of the characters and action are awesome to watch. And whenever they do a scene like when Hiro and Baymax are flying around, they do show how big everything is and how amazing it is too. And the comedy is great too, especially with Baymax himself and how seriously and literally he takes a lot of things. If you've seen the movie, than you know what I'm talking about. And the action is also great. With this being animated, they did so many amazing things in the action like the climax and that scene on the island. And the bond that forms between Hiro and Baymax is super believable and even sad in certain moments too. And speaking of sad, the opening when Tadashi dies in the building is also really tragic, especially since they made him so likeable and we only knew him for a few minutes. And it was especially awesome to get a Stan Lee cameo in there because this is also kind of a Marvel movie.

11. Wreck-It Ralph:

This actually might be a sort of a fan pick for me because this is a video game centred movie and I love video games. But this is also just a really phenomenal movie that I absolutely love. This is sort of a Roger Rabbit movie of video games because there's a ton of famous video game characters at once. Sure, there isn't a lot and I do wish there was more, but the story and characters are so amazing that I really don't care if they're in there a lot or not. Ralph himself is a really sympathetic character and one of my favourite Disney characters ever. The rest are all great too like Vanellope, Felix, Calhoun and King Candy, who's a pretty cool villain even if his motivation isn't perfect. And the animation is so creative and used really cleverly. The only problem I do kinda have with it is that I wish Felix and Calhoun were in the movie more because they don't have a lot of screen time and they are such great characters. Besides that, I don't have a problem with it. This is just such a truly amazing Disney movie and it even kinda surprises me how they managed to do a movie like this in the sense that they did so many of these video game references and so many other things like that. There's also never a boring scene in this and it's really well paced every single second. I just love this movie and I can't wait for the sequel next year.
10. Frozen:

Now we come a kinda controversial Disney movie for really dumb reasons in my opinion. When this first came out, people loved it. But then as they started to see merchandise for it everywhere, they started to get sick of it and some people are saying they hate it and think it's bad. That is so undeniably stupid. Okay, yes, merchandise for it is everywhere and it is kinda weird, but that's not the movie's fault. The movie itself is still a really fantastic movie and really fantastically put together movie too. Everything in it is amazing. The story, adventure, characters, message, animation, songs and twists as well. And like another movie you're going to see on this list soon, I like how they poke fun of a lot of Disney clichés and makes it a lot more entertaining from that. And the whole message of family and love are really well shown. And, like I said, a lot of the characters are so well realised and so loveable. Anna and Olaf being two of my favourite Disney characters ever. It also has a great twist villain with Hans and I do think that that's a great twist for the movie. And songs are amazing here. They're all songs that people are even still singing to this day, especially little kids. And that should happen because these songs are so well thought out and they help describe the story as well as explain how the characters are feeling and that's exactly what Disney songs should do. And the comedy is really hilarious like everything that comes from Olaf and Anna. Just everything in this I think is flawless and Frozen is easily one of my favourite Disney movies ever.
9. Bambi 2:

This may be the most notable when I said earlier that this is an opinionated list. And for me personally, Bambi 2 is one of my favourite Disney movies ever. It's really well told, animated, acted, shown and I think what makes it stand out to me as one of my favourites is how fun it is. I've seen this movie over a dozen times ever since I first saw it and it keeps making me happy from the feeling I had when I first watched it. And this movie is the movie that helped make Bambi one of my favourite Disney characters as I said in my top 20 other favourite Disney character. Something else this movie does so well is that it takes those scenes that you expect to be kinda childish like that groundhog scene and makes it fun and funny for all ages to me. Really, if you wanna know my full thoughts on why I love this movie so much, go read my review of it that I made in June. But overall, I do really love this movie and it is one of my favourites.
8. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl:

Finishing the live action movies on this list is the first and only Pirates movie on the list, the Curse of the Black Pearl. Like I said in my ranking of these movies the other day, a lot of people weren't too keen on this film, but when it was released, everyone who saw it loved it. And so do I. The adventure in this so much fun and every time I see it, I love it more and more. This is one of Johnny Depp's best performances with Jack. And everything else in this like the directing, choreography, cinematography, other performances, costumes, C.G.I and just everything is so perfect and the movie's also really quotable. There's great jokes here and great lines. And having this movie be based on an actual ride and it turning out this amazing is really something to be praised. And the thing that separates this from the Pirates movies is the story is easy to follow and it's not complicated. Just everything in this I love and I don't think it coulda been done in any better way.
7. The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride:

With Bambi 2 already being on this list, you probably expected this to be somewhere and here it is at number 7, the Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. And yeah, this is another one that I love. It really does a fantastic job at being a great movie and being a super entertaining movie as well. The animation is super impressive for this being a straight to video Disney movie. All the characters are so likeable and Zira is an awesome villain. Kiara and Kovu are amazing characters and their chemistry is really believable and comedy is really funny when it lands. I also love the scale to the movie too with it appearing that the movie is really big. This movie also does a great job at making you feel like you're really watching a movie that's a sequel unlike some of the other straight to video Disney sequels. Again, like what I said with Bambi 2, go read my review I made in June to know my full and real thoughts on it if you haven't already. But, overall I absolutely adore this movie and it is one of my favourites.
6. The Little Mermaid:

At number 6 is the movie that started the original Disney Renaissance and the movie that saved Disney in the late '80's, the Little Mermaid. This is another movie that everyone has seen by now and knows everything in it from top to bottom. And it's also a super famous one too and it's very easy to see why. This animation is some of my favourite Disney animation ever with amazing designs, colours, expressions on the characters and the slapstick is amazing. The characters are all really great and Ursula is one of the best Disney villains ever. And the whole scene when Ariel is a human and she can't talk is really hilarious. But on top of that, this movie is this fantastic take on a popular story and they did it tremendously. The side characters are also great like Sebastian, Scuttle and Flounder. All of them are super likeable and Sebastian is a hilarious character. I actually do also like Ariel as a character. I know a lot of people don't like her, but I personally really, really do. I think she's great. Eric is also a very likeable guy too. King Triton is another great example of doing the same kinda character we've seen before and making him really well developed and likeable. What also really amazes me in this is the water animation and how they managed to draw a lot of these characters like they're swimming for a large majority of the movie. The songs are also some of the best Disney's ever put out there, especially Under the Sea and Part of Your World as I said before in my top 10 Disney songs. Just about everyone else has already said exactly what I'm saying and that's for a great reason because this is a great movie and it's definitely one of Disney's best of all time in my opinion.
5. Aladdin:

Next on the list is one of the most fun and beloved of all time, Aladdin. This has topped people's lists of their favourite Disney movies ever and it's very obvious why. It's super funny, fun, awesome, fantastically animated with really great characters and a fast pace that never gets boring no matter how many times you watch it. There's always a reason for a scene in this movie and there's never one scene that drags too long. The songs are all awesome do another great job of expressing the characters and who they are. The Genie himself is also one of the best show stealers in probably any movie ever with hilarious improvisation from Robin Williams. And everyone else like Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu, the Sultan, the Carpet and Iago are great too and Jafar is an awesome villain. The colours and lighting are also all utilised fantastically here, the movie looks phenomenal. The movie's also hilarious, one of the funniest Disney Classics ever. And the comedy doesn't all just come from the Genie. All the characters get some really hilarious scenes and it feels like every character gets the perfect amount of screen time, there's not one who you feel gets a little overshadowed. And all that is why Aladdin is my fifth favourite Disney movie and it's in this spot.
4. The Princess and the Frog:

Now we've come to a movie that I've been saying that I've loved for a long time. While I don't think I love it as much as I originally said years ago, I do still love it and everything in it. And there's something that this movie does so amazingly that I don't think a lot of the other Disney movies do and that's make you really appreciate the atmosphere around you. And by that I mean the locations and look to the bayou when they're there is so incredible to me. I love it when a movie can make me really, really love the scenery of it all and have you want to stay in it more. But, besides that, everything else is just as good, if not better, than that. The characters are all amazing like Tiana, Naveen, Louis, Ray, Mama Odie and Charlotte. The Shadow-Man is also one of the coolest Disney villains ever to me. And all the effects they use are cool too like when the Shadow-Man is using his powers and all sorta things like that. This is also one of the more heart-warming Disney movies ever in my opinion. I think I mainly say that because I saw this a few years ago for the first time and I remember being touched by the end of the film. Like a lot of the other movies I've mentioned, there's never a boring scene in this and the voice cast in this is all perfect. That's something the Disney almost always get right. The songs are also all fantastic and there's not one that I dislike or think is unmemorable. They all stick with me and love listening to all of them. The plot is also really creative and they throw in some great twists and turns along the way. And, yeah, just everything in this I absolutely love and I'm happy to put it as number 4 on this list.
3. Moana:

This might surprise some people with how high it is on the list. But, as I've said a ton of times already, all of this is my opinion and I personally adore this movie and think it's one of Disney's best. The animation in this, I think is Disney's best animation they've ever done and the characters are some of their best too. This is also a really quotable movie too. For me ever since I got it on DVD, it's becoming one of my most quotable movies. Especially the scenes between Moana and Maui. And the humour is top notch, it's one of the funniest in a while to me, especially the Tamatoa scene. And really, ever since I first saw it less than a year ago, this movie has had a really special place in my heart, (no pun intended.) But this is a really fantastic movie to me and it's pretty interesting the way they explore the whole Polynesian culture, especially if you take a look at the behind the scenes video and you can see what they did to make this movie. Everything in this I absolutely love. I also like how they poked fun of a lot of Disney clichés and they didn't have to follow a lot of the same tropes as much as other Disney movies. Don't get me wrong, they do follow some and that's to be expected because it is a Disney movie. But they managed to find the right limit so it didn't come off as too clichéd. And, in my opinion, this is John Musker and Ron Clements's best Disney work to date and it's kinda funny because the last four I've mentioned have been four movies the two of them have made and it shows just how far they've gone. Get it? What else can I say? I love it. I've seen it a ton of times before and I'll definitely see it a billion more times.
2. Zootropolis

Zootropolis, as said by many people is easily one of the best movies to ever come from Disney with it touching on so many mature themes. And it's also just another fun adventure with fantastic and hilarious characters. There's also really great jokes with the things around the characters too like how they use the different environments with who the characters are. But, on top of that, the whole mystery aspect to it is the most interesting part of the movie to me also the very adult things it does like prejudice and discrimination that a lot of people can really relate to. The animation is also fantastic. There's not one thing in this that looks weird. It all looks so incredible like the backgrounds, character designs, textures of everything and the colours. The comedy is fantastic, some of the best comedy to come out of a Disney Classic in my opinion. And the characters are all either funny, charming, relatable and some can even be considered a role model like Judy. They also explore how deep the story can really go because it's all well thought out and they make the story extremely well layered and told. And if you were ever watching this for the first time, than you'd be surprised with how deep it really does go. It also does a fantastic job of exploring this world and showing us how everything works. With fantastic characters, fantastic animation, a fantastic message and a fantastic feeling of family entertainment for everyone, Zootropolis is easily one of Disney best of all time and some of their best writing that will ever happen in my opinion and that's all why it's at number 2.

And finally at number 1 is the biggest one of them all, the Lion King. I've thought a lot about this and I am absolutely positive that the Lion King is my favourite Disney movie of all time, for pretty obvious reasons. But still, I'm going to go more into it. Like I just said, I thought about this a lot and really carefully to be absolutely sure that I was happy putting this here and in the end, I did and I'm really glad to put it here. I mean, for one thing, it's the Lion King so that should be self explanatory, but I think I also put it here from my huge nostalgia of it and how much of a gigantic influence it was to me in my childhood with the best hand-drawn animation ever done ever in my opinion, well realised characters, fantastic twists and turns, how adult it can sometimes be like how they actually showed a dead body for the first time in a Disney movie, amazing locations all over the Pride Lands, brilliant backstory on the Pride Lands too, hilarious jokes and a fantastic message of finding out who you are and another message of coming forward with your mistakes and taking responsibility for it. And, I'm not gonna lie, it has literally the most epic Disney moment of all time with the ending with Simba walking up Pride Rock and roaring, which actually might be my favourite Disney moment ever.

And there's of course the songs that everyone has been singing ever since it came out and yeah, they have fantastic reasons to do that. All the songs here are fun, catchy and incredible to listen to. Even during the scenes of the movie where there isn't a lot happening, there's never a moment where you're bored. And really, I think that just about everything in this is another great example of a Disney movie where everything is done absolutely perfect and nothing could have been done better. The cast is also perfect as well and I love how this is the movie that kicked off this humongous franchise with sequels and spin-offs, especially one in particular that I'm pretty sure you all know what I mean. Again, what else can I say, this is just "the" Disney movie and it's one everyone's seen at least once in their lives and it's one that should be beloved by everyone. And all that is why the Lion King is my absolute number 1 favourite Disney movie of all time. 5 Pirates of the Caribbean movies ranked

With the Pirates franchise presumably over now and Dead Men Tell No Tales coming to DVD soon, I thought I'd look back on this franchise and do a ranking of the 5 movies from worst to best. Obviously there really hasn't been a good movie in this series for a long time, but I still kinda find some entries a little underrated, though, only a little. I haven't one a rankings entry in a while, so I think this will be a nice comeback for that. And seeing how the Pirates movies are Disney, this is a great way to get ready for what I'm going to do for my next entry that I can't wait to do. You see that when it's done. Anyway, let's get on with this and I hope you all enjoy.
5. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest:

Starting us off is the sequel to the original classic, Dead Man's Chest. Whenever anyone asks me what I think the least of the Pirates movies is, I pick this one. When being a sequel to a huge phenomenon, you have some big shoes to fill, but this follow up did not do that with have a super silly and at times complicated plot, a really bad ending, a boring second act and not a whole lot of things happening. It also has some pointless scenes like the whole scene with the cannibals. With only a few things okay about it
4. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End:

Next up is easily the most complicated of all the Pirates movies, At World's End. Upon rewatching I found there are more things that're good, but that doesn't mean the movie itself is good. It's still beyond complicated, is way too dark, has too many characters, too much stuff going on, not enough action, it's way too long, nothing interesting happening and just not being fun to watch for the vast majority of it. The climax does kinda make up a small bit, but not a whole lot, just a tiny bit.
3. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides:

I know most of you were more than likely expecting to see this at number 5 because this is the most despised of all the Pirates movies. And while, yes, this isn't really a good movie, there are good things in it and I find it really entertaining even with the bad stuff in it and I think it's better and more entertaining than 2 and 3. Again, it's not a good movie but still, I have a good time with it.
2. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales:

The most recent Pirates movie is next up. After a six year gap since the last one, I think they ended this franchise on a, I wouldn't say a high note because I don't know if I can say it's actually good, but a kinda decent note if you know what I mean. The plot is really bad and dumb at parts, but it is still entertaining the whole way through. While some of the acting isn't the best, most of it is pretty solid and the ending is really nice way to end it all.
1. Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl:

And finally at number 1 is the only good movie of the Pirates movie and my favourite actual pirate movie ever as I said in my favourite genre movies ever a few days ago. This is a movie that not a lot of people were expecting when it was coming out, but people love it and it started this entire franchise. And this is a super fun movie and my favourite pirate movie ever. It's funny, exciting, the cast is phenomenal, the characters are great, especially Jack who might actually be one of my favourite Disney characters as I've been thinking lately, and it's also super quotable. The cinematography and directing is perfect along with great sets and costumes. Just everything in this I love and I can easily pick this movie as the best Pirates of the Caribbean movie ever. My paintings of the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy characters

I know I only recently first spoke about the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, but I really wanted to do a paintings entry of some of the characters and so that's exactly what this is going to be. My top 10 anime voice actors

Anime is great, and one of the many things that makes it so spectacular is it's fantastic voice cast. With so many characters in every anime, there of course going to be a talented cast of English voice actors. And so I thought I'd use this entry to talk about my 10 favourite anime dub voice actors. These aren't going to be the best voice actors ever, even though they are here too, but this is just my personal opinion and my number 1 choice is just from my own opinion so if you disagree or have another list of favourites, that's fine and great, this is all just my opinion. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
10. Yuri Lowenthal:

Starting us off is the voice actor for characters like Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto, Suzaku Kururugi from Code Geass and Simon from Gurren Lagann. His deep and smooth voice helps makes his characters more emotional and even intimidating at times, especially Sasuke. While also being the hero at times too, he knows exactly how a character should sound.
9. Brad Swaile:

At number 9 is the voice actor who voices very different kinds of characters every time, Brad  Swaile. In his career he's voiced characters like Teen Gohan from Dragon Ball Z, Light Yagami from Death Note, Amari Nobunaga from InuYasha and many more. In every voice he does he manages to perfectly deliver everything they're feeling and if they were ever going through some kinda change, he also manages to make it that much more plausible and believable like how Light descends into the crazy villain in Death Note.
8. Todd Haberkorn:

Next up is one of the most popular anime dub actors, Todd Haberkorn. This actor has a real legacy for aiming to go for roles that're fun. He's voiced many anime characters out there like Natsu from Fairy Tail, Ling from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Allen Walker from D. Gray-man.  He also does voices for characters that can be pretty crazy sometimes.
7. J. Michael Tatum:

This voice has done so much voice work and he's especially been able to do so many in just the past 7 years. Having been playing characters with such deep voices, he makes every performance amazing. The category of his work is huge like Scar from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Eneru from One Piece, Smith from .hack//Quantum and Shiro from Assassination Classroom and that's not even a quarter of the many he's done. There's also the many amazing accents he's able to pull off flawlessly.
6. Steve Blum:

At number 6 is the voice actor who feels like he's in every anime. With a fantastic voice for anime, he can do voices for so many heroes and villains. His roster includes Zabuza and Orochimaru from Naruto, Mugen from Samurai Champloo, but his most iconic is easily Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. Every performance by him is terrific and he gives so much depth and personally to every character.
5. Vic Mignogna:

Another one of the most famous dubbed voice actors ever, Vic is best know for playing Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, which landed him an award, as well as others like Ikkaku Madarame from Bleach and Rigaldo from Claymore. Though I do like those, I still prefer to stick with Ed for being a great character and one of my favourite anime characters ever.
4. Christopher Sabat:

Christopher Sabat is another one of the oldest anime dub actors ever. Having started in 1999 with his best performance ever in my opinion with Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z along with Piccolo and Yamcha. He's also done others like Roronoa Zoro from One Piece, Daisuke Jigen from Lupin the Third and Vaccine Man from One-Punch Man. Like I said a second ago, while all those are great, my favourite is Vegeta. He's never bad as the character and I never get tired of him.
3. Sean Schemmel:

Along with Christopher Sabat, the other Dragon Ball cast member who's one of my favourite is the voice actor for Goku and King Kai. Sean Schemmel makes both characters extremely likeable by making him super optimistic and fun while making King Kai wise but also funny. Along with other characters like Shigeru Murota from Yu Yu Hakusho, Helmeppo from One Piece and Jimmy from Pokémon: Chronicles. But Goku will always be his best ever and I can't wait to see more of it in Dragon Ball Super.
2. Johnny Yong Bosh:

Easily the most popular anime dub actor all time, Johnny Yong Bosh has voiced dozens of anime characters. Whether it's Ichigo from Bleach, Vash the Stampede from Trigun, Rossiu Adai from Gurren Lagann, Sasori from Naruto Shippuden and that's just to name a few. Always doing a perfect performance with every character he's done, and is going to do I presume, each one shows just how talented and amazing Johnny is as an actor.
And my number 1 favourite anime voice actor is... Maile Flannigan:

Now, remember what I said in the beginning about this being a personal opinion. And when I did my anime review of Naruto I brought this up too. And so in my opinion, I'm sticking with Maile Flannigan being my favourite anime voice actor, even though she has only done Naruto. But this is still an amazing performance to me. She perfectly pulls off a boy voice and it's also impressive when she has to scream a lot of lines too and she still nails it. She also manages to make Naruto's voice sound more mature as the show progresses in the original and then make it sound deeper and more mature as it transcends into Shippuden and in the Boruto movie. Everything she does with this character is great and perfect in my opinion. She also makes him sound fun, funny, optimistic, stupid at times and she also really pulls off the scenes when he's taking scene seriously too.
