Jessica Jones: Season 2 teaser

So with the Defenders team themselves now sorta being split apart after Matt was presumed dead, we're going to be getting even more sequel seasons for the other shows. And the first of them is Jessica Jones: Season 2. In case you don't remember, I loved the first season of Jessica Jones. It was super fun to watch, great acting from everyone, it had a fantastic villain and it was beyond interesting. And so I'm looking forward to more of that with the next season. And this teaser looks like it's going to do all that again and they even manage to reference Spider-Man, which is cool. And so, here it is and I hope you all enjoy.

The Lion Guard: Timon and Pumbaa's Christmas

So, the Lion Guard has sorta been taking a break lately with not many happening for over a month. But now that Christmas is literally coming up, they decided to release a Christmas themed episode, and so, here's my review of it. I was sorta wondering about this. I wasn't really sure how they would come out and the marketing wasn't showing much in terms of plot. But I just watched it a while ago and, so, here it is. Before I started watching it, again, I didn't really think about what the plot was going to be, so I just started not really thinking about that and hoped it would be enjoyable. As I did though, I started to think I might have known what was going to happen. And, how was it? Uh, it was good, I guess. Not anything special and it's not one I'd go back to watch over and over, but it's not bad. And, yes, I'm going to do all the spoilers, so, if you want to see it for yourself, go watch it and then read this. What's the story? It's a flashback episode where Christmas is coming up, but only Timon and Pumbaa actually know about it. They even decorate a tree to look like a Christmas, but, when Timon gets the feeling that Dandy Claws, obviously their version of Santa Claus, isn't going to show up, he breaks down feeling that the plan they have won't work. So now Bunga and the rest of the Guard try to think of a way to make him better by rounding up the animals of the Pride Lands to have them sing some song that's supposed to get him to come. So Kion asks Simba, Nala and Kiara, along with Tifu and Zuri to help to. Once they're all gathered, they begin but Bunga keeps having them do it over and over until they give up thinking that this isn't gonna work either. But then once Timon and Pumbaa come, they all gather by the tree and do it. Even Pumbaa dresses up as this Dandy Claws guy by putting on some leaves and Timon better. And all this is a story that Rafiki is telling Makini. As a real and proper Lion Guard Christmas episode, they do a pretty good job, even if they didn't include Christmas in the title, you can look at the entire look of the episode and see that it's definitely Christmas themed. It looks great. Even just the design of the tree. And it's a nice story for Bunga and Timon because Bunga's doing everything he can to help make Timon better. And so all that is good, but, as an episode itself, it's still not anything that spectacular. Which is weird considering they coulda had it be great, but they went for a plot that can get kinda samey and too childish. I know this is a young kids show, but something this show does a lot so well is that it can balance its tone enough so that it's also a family show too. Here though, even though there's good  things in it, and I would go to say it is pretty good, it can go a little to childish at times. Still though, I had some fun and there were a lot of things to enjoy with a couple of funny moments. And the songs were... all right, I guess. And this sorta helps boost Bunga's character in what he's like with wanting to help and make things better. And that's all good for him, and the rest certainly do their parts in what their supposed to do as the sort of characters they are and they even have some funny  moments when the Guard are trying to organise the "concert" that Bunga's trying to create. And I just really loved the Christmas like atmosphere that the episode was creating and I think that's what I enjoyed about this episode the most. Especially given how Christmas is almost here. And I do think that's why I had a pretty good time with this. And so, everyone, that's my review of The Lion Guard: Timon and Pumbaa's Christmas. Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark

So, this is something else I've been thinking about doing for a while. But now I finally got around to it and so now, I'm going to do a review for one of the most famous and influence movies of all time, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. I had heard tons things about this movie for a while and I was pretty curious to see this for myself, so I finally watched it and, yeah, it's really good. I was really surprised by this. Although, unlike every YouTuber who I've seen review this movie, I don't love it and I thought there were some problems. Still though, this was a really fun watch and I can definitely see why it's such a timeless classic, according to a lot of people. And, if you haven't seen it yet, don't worry, I'm not going to spoil anything here. What's the story? It opens up with Indiana Jones, played by Harrison Ford, who's an explorer and adventurer, going to some temple to retrieve a small golden statue with his crew.

After he gets away from soldiers and the statue stolen from he, we go through a few years with him being a teacher at a school but then he begins talking to men about something called the Lost Ark of the Covenant, which is something supposedly powerful that he's been thinking about trying to find for ages. The men then allow him to find it. Indy then goes to find it with a person he once knew named Marion, played by Karen Allen. He helps her in a bar fight with the main villains who're after the ark too. Marion agrees to go with him and they meet up with one of Indy's old friends, Sallah, played by John Rhys-Davies. And I'll stop there. Firstly I'll talk about the many things I liked here. In terms of what this movie is supposed to be, that being a fun adventure movie, yeah, this movie nails that perfectly. It's not the most fun movie I've ever seen, but it's still really fun. The cast is also great. Sam with the characters. Harrison Ford is perfect as Indiana Jones as this brave adventurer who's also funny, charming, a lady's man and just so cool. I thought he was awesome. I really liked Karen Allen as Marion. She was awesome and fun to watch. And I really loved John Rhys-Davies as Sallah. He was really fun and really likeable. He and Harrison Ford work off each other really well and I had a lot of fun watching them together. The villains were also pretty cool and intimidating. Also, the effects here are amazing. Especially for something that came out in 1981. And I really loved the stunt work, especially during the car chase scene. This was mostly done practically so it looks real and very tense at times. I also really liked the bar fight scene. I thought that was especially awesome.

This movie was directed by Steven Spielberg, probably one of the most famous directors ever. His other movies include Jurassic Park, E.T, Saving Private Ryan, and that's just to name a few. And his direction here is fantastic. The movie's also really well made with the cinematography and the set up with it. And, overall, the movie's super memorable. It's funny at parts and it's got some awesome one-liners. I'm also kinda surprised that after 36 years, this movie still holds up really well. Not 100%, but still. Now, as far as what I didn't like, some action is really dated and doesn't seem like it's actually happening. Especially the fist fights. The movie is also kinda dated in some parts. As I said, it does hold up, but not everything does. There is also some stuff in this that I found kinda boring. Like some parts in the dessert. A lot of it was fun, but some parts felt like it was dragging a bit. Still though, even with that, I still thought this was a really fun time. When watching some other reviews for this movie, they were all loving it and saying how fun it was. And, while I don't love it and think it's a little flawed, I still see why. And so everyone, that's my review of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. I would highly recommend this if you haven't seen it yet. My paintings of One Piece characters

So something I spoke about recently was the different animes I'm hoping to start watching really soon. And my number 1 pick for it was One Piece. One piece is one of the most popular animes ever and the longest running of all time. So, recently, I started watching it and, yeah, I'm really enjoying it. And so, with me doing that and given how I've done painting entries on animes before, so I decided to do one on this. I've began to love a lot of these characters and Luffy himself had definitely become one of my favourite anime protagonists and my favourite character on the show. The rest are all unique, funny, likeable and really enjoyable. And I've done some paintings of some of them and here they are. 5 DC Extended Universe movies ranked

So, with Justice League finally out and my review of it up, I thought I'd take a look back at all the DC Extended Universe movies so far and rate them. Before I start, I need to say, this is all my opinion so if you disagree or agree with these choices, that's fine. These are just put in the order of how I've enjoyed each of these films. While this franchise doesn't have the best track record though, I haven't hated any of these movies and I find enjoyment in all of them. And, so, let's begin and I hope you all enjoy.
5. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice:

Starting us off at number 5 is the only movie in this franchise that kinda seems average to me. While there are tons of things in this that I love, it has a lot of problems, as said by a lot of people, including myself. This is a movie that a lot of people were anticipating because it was going to be the first time we were going to see Batman and Superman together on the big screen for the first time ever. It was also going to be the first time we were ever going to be Wonder Woman on the big screen. So, naturally, we were all really excited. And, while we did get some great things in it like an amazing Batman and Wonder Woman was awesome, they gave us way too much in one movie and didn't do a good job with setting up the other members of the Justice League. While some of the action was cool, some was also a bit of a let down too. Still though, as far as the movie itself, I would still kinda say it's just average.
4. Man of Steel:

Next up is the movie that started this entire universe. This is the Superman movie that was definitely the most different kinda we had ever seen beforehand. And, this is a very opposite Superman movie. And, when I say that, I mean, this isn't the way a Superman movie should really be made. Superman is one of the most hopeful and uplifting superheroes ever, here, it's just kinda depressing the whole way through. Still though, I thought the cast was great, some of the visuals were cool and the plot, while messy in a lot of it, was kinda interesting in parts. And, while I didn't like the depressing tone of the whole movie, the moments where they tried to be much lighter, I thought were kinda rewarding and I liked those moments. Even when the movie was going too destructive and over the top.
3. Suicide Squad:

Last year's Suicide Squad was, in my opinion, one of the strangest movies to coming out of 2016. I'd say mainly due to it's reception and critical response. But I still found it really fun. While there were some noticeably bad editing moves, I still had a lot of fun with this and found the action, cast and some visuals pretty cool. I also surprisingly loved the climax. I think just because of what the characters do while it's happening. But I really liked the interactions too, which is what a lot of people were most excited for when they were going to see this. And I thought that was cool to see. I also thought the introduction to a lot of these characters was awesome. Like seeing these characters on screen for the first time like Deadshot, Harley Quinn and Killer Croc. I really liked that and I seem to be one of the only few people that actually liked Jared Leto's Joker and thought he was pretty cool. I really can't wait for more of him. And I personally enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I did.
2. Wonder Woman:

Now we get into the actual really good DC.E.U movie. This movie was a huge surprise when it came out this year. And, yeah, it's really, really good... but, even though I do like it, I don't love the movie. I'm, personally, not a huge fan of the whole fish out of water premise and so that can make scenes seem kinda weird and awkward. And while, I know that's supposed to be funny, and I did find it funny, I don't really like it very much. The climax is also a bit of a let down for me. Still though, even with all that stuff, I had a blast with this and it was a lot of fun. It was great to have a great version of Wonder Woman on the big screen and I love Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. The rest of the cast was great too and I really enjoyed watching all of them, especially the group of soldiers they fight with. I loved that and I had fun with the movie even when it was slowing down.
1. Justice League:

Okay, okay. I know this is so weird coming from me. You all read my review of this movie by now, so you all know what I think about it. And, yes, it's not perfect and there are a lot of problem like a poorly structured story, a lacklustre villain and so distracting reshooting, along with some distracting editing, but, personally, I think this might be the most fun I've had with a DC.E.U movie. A lot of the action, while some C.G.I and green screen were pretty bad and I'm getting kinda sick of this whole slow-mo action thing that Zack Snyder does, some of the action was really cool and this had so many awesome moments. And there were moments here where I kinda got chills and gave me a huge smile on my face. And I thought this movie handled it's DC references much better than other DC movies, unlike Batman V Superman. And, yes, it can be really rushed and, when you watch it, it can feel kinda disposable, but I had a much more fun with this than I thought. I also especially loved both the credit scenes as I said in my review and the second one in particular got me more excited for the future of this universe. Also, as I said in the review, I liked how this is a more lighter movie and there were some funny moments too. Yes, there were members on the team and side characters that I wish had more to do, but I think they could fix that with the future movies and, I mean, it is a Justice League movie. This is something everyone's wanted to see for a long time and, while it's not perfect and it does seem like they're copying the M.C.U's Avengers, I really liked the interactions with these characters and thought they really captured the fun of these characters on the big screen. Again, Wonder Woman is probably the better movie, but, again, this is the DC.E.U movie I think I've enjoyed the most. And I can't wait to see what the next DC Extended Universe movie is. New Avengers: Infinity War trailer

And so, everyone, we've finally gotten the first trailer for my most anticipated movie of all time, Avengers: Infinity War. I was waiting for this trailer all day and it finally dropped a little while ago. I was so excited for this and it did not disappoint. Just by this trailer alone, I'm already super hyped. It shows so much and yet, so little. It has awesome group shots, great dialog, Thanos looks really cool and every single special effect here looks flawless. There's even a great line by T'Challa about Cap. I'm still saying this is my most anticipated movie ever and this trailer solidifies that. And so, here it is and I hope you all enjoy.

The Punisher: Season 1

(Before we start, I should say, I'm going to be showing clips here that're really, really violent and brutal. So, if you're not 15 yet, don't read this. You've been warned.) All right, so now we're onto the final comic book thing this year and the Netflix show of 2017, the Punisher: Season 1. This year has been sort of amazing for comic book entertainment. Yes, there have been some low points, but, aside from some minor bumps, this year has been fantastic with comic book entertainment. And so with this being the last of it, what did I think of the Punisher: Season 1... eh... it was pretty good, I guess. There were some things in this that I loved a lot, but there were also some kinda problems that I had. And this is gonna have spoilers, so, if you haven't seen it or finished it yet and you want to, go watch it and then read this. Okay, let's go with what I liked first. Firstly, everyone in this cast is amazing. I loved Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher in Daredevil: Season 2, and he's still fantastic here. Maybe even better. He has a lot of scenes where has to be really emotional and threatening, and he does all of it flawlessly. This is easily one of the best casting choices in all of the M.C.U. He's also just really fantastic in every scene he's in. And everyone else is also fantastic. Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Micro, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah, Jason R. Moore as Curtis, Ben Barnes as Billy/Jigsaw. They're all fantastic. I especially really like Ben Barnes and I liked how he played the main villain really well. At the start when we first see him, I thought he was pretty good at the start pretending to be a good guy. But, when it's revealed that he's the main villain, I thought he was pretty intimidating and kinda scary. So yeah, Marvel villains this year have been really great. Now, let's get into the thing that everyone wanted to see when starting this show, the action. Yeah, this action is absolutely fantastic. This is by far the most violent thing I've ever seen in my life. It does not hold back in the slightest. While kids obviously shouldn't watch this, I wouldn't even show some teenagers this. It is absolutely insane. There's blood everywhere and it does not hold back in the slightest, as I just said. When this comes to DVD, I wouldn't be surprised if it got an 18 rating. It shows everything. Getting shot in the face, being pummelled to death, punching a person in the face and smashing their skulls with even more blood coming out, neck snaps and being stabbed over and over. Everything. Watch this scene for example.

There's, of course, a ton of other adult things in this, but still, this show's action is by far the most violent I've ever seen in anything. I would say my favourite action scene is in episode 11 when Frank is killing tons of soldiers in Micro's lab with his skull vest on. Watch.

There's also tons of other realistic things in this like the character's dilemmas and their journeys. For example, they show things like P.T.S.D, realistic looking war scenes. Which is kinda weird considering this is in the same world as the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy. I love the thought that when the Avengers are fighting aliens and the Guardians are fight living planets, these characters are very real world and some fight in real wars. Obviously it's not really real, but, from what they're presenting, it feels like it is and that's what it's supposed to be. And, while I didn't love all of it, the character's arcs and their situations and struggles are pretty interesting and I liked a lot of their interactions, like Frank and Micro. At first I thought Micro was going to be a pathetic villain, because, I guess, that's what he was supposed to look like. But, as it kept going, he became one of the most likeable characters in the whole show. I especially really like Curtis. He was just a really likeable person. And I liked Karen showing up too. While there was an aspect to her in this that I didn't like, that I'll talk about in a minute, I did enjoy seeing her here. And all the actual technical aspects of the show, like the cinematography, the directing, the music choices, all that. And it's pretty intense in a lot of these scenes too. And I really love the ending. Where Frank is fight Bill in the merry go-round and then Bill becomes Jigsaw when Frank scrapes and smashes his face on the mirror.

However, with that good stuff outta the way, let's talk about the negatives. Because, for me, this was far from perfect. Firstly, the biggest problem for me is that there is way too much time talking. The start of it is really slow with a really slow pace trying to set up everyone and get them from place to place. And, there is some interesting stuff with it, but, for me at least, it was pretty boring. I really just wanted to get back to Frank doing his Punisher fights. But they take too long trying to shuffle all these characters along and setting them up and all that stuff. And that can be really boring in so many scenes. Also, the villain Rawlings, while kinda cool in some cases, other times, he just seemed way too over the top to me. And he seemed kinda pointless at times. The whole police stuff with Dinah and Stein is also not very interesting and some of their actions I thought were sorta odd. The fact that this show, like almost all the other Netflix shows, is also suffering from the fact that there's 13 episodes, so it feels like there's a bunch of filler that doesn't have to be there. The Defenders managed to do it all really well and they were able to make that 8 episodes. So these episodes just sorta go by and don't have much to them sometimes. I did like how they went a little more in the locations sometimes, but, most of the time, they just hang out at either Micro's lab, the Lieberman's house or the Homeland Security place. So, I don't know, they coulda had more locations than that because when they keep going back to the exact same places, it can seem pretty bland and not very unique. And as for that thing about Karen that I wasn't a huge fan of, it's the fact that her and Frank sorta begin to fall for each other. I highly doubt they actually do because, for one thing, Frank's family's death is the reason he's doing all this, so, getting someone new wouldn't make sense for his character, but, also, I just don't really like that whole thing with them and how he thinks of her as something special. Sure, it's nice and it makes him a much more caring guy, but, the way they went about it, I thought didn't work. The same thing sorta goes with Micro's family, particularly his wife. Again, what I just said with Karen is the same with her, but I still wasn't liking their relationship like that. So, in conclusion, I really like the Punisher: Season 1. It's a bit better than Iron Fist, but, it's nowhere near as good as the Defenders this year, for me. I loved a lot of it, even if it wasn't anything really special, aside from it being the most violent thing I've ever seen Marvel do, even more than Logan from FOX. And I do recommend watching this if you're old enough to and if you're just a fan of the M.C.U. It still keeps itself really entertaining and that concludes the comic book entertainment this year. This year has had the best comic book entertainment ever with three fantastic M.C.U movies, one fantastic FOX movie, one fantastic M.C.U Netflix show, one really good DC film, one "good" DC film, one pretty good Netflix show and one average Netflix show. My top 5 storylines in Fairy Tail

Along with the storylines in anime entries I've been doing on anime, I've done Naruto and Dragon Ball Z. So now, I'm doing one for Fairy Tail. As I might have said before, Fairy Tail, for me, is one of the most fun anime I've ever seen. And so far, even though the anime isn't done yet and the English dub isn't up to date with the Japanese version yet, I'm still loving this show and I'm loving everything I've seen so far as you've all most likely seen in my review. And seeing how more and more DVDs are coming out and I'm doing my best to get them all and watch it all, I thought I'd look back at the ones I've watched so far and count down my favourite storylines. And this will be the anime version although, these will be storylines from the manga and not the filler arcs again. And so, let's begin and I hope you all enjoy.
5. The Phantom Lord Guild: Starting us off at number 5 is one of the first events that happen in the whole series. When Lucy's father hires the Phantom Lord Guild to find Lucy and bring her back home in an attempt to make her marry someone so he can become more rich, they go all out. And I do mean "all out." They go to extremes to get her. And after the master of the guild, Jose, literally brings this into, practically, a war of guilds, it's the Fairy Tail Guild vs. the Phantom Lord Guild. And from therefore onward, it's constant action, amazing storytelling and pretty sad moments too. Not to mention some motivational moments. I think I mainly put this here because, okay, yes, because it is so much fun, but also because of how inspirational it is. I think my favourite part is when the Fairy Tail members are standing u to the Phantom Lord Guild and saying all these things about how they'd never abandon Lucy or any of their friends for that matter. This series, just like Naruto, are really big inspirational anime to me. And I just really love that aspect of it. But my other favourite part is the fight between Natsu and Gajeel. Which is really great, especially at the end when Natsu beats him and I really love how Gajeel, after this, has a change of heart and he becomes a good guy.

4. The Oracion Seis: This one is mainly here because of the fact that it introduced two new characters to the series that I love. But I also love it, again, because of the fact that it's so much fun. When a group called the Oracion Seis is threatening to unleash a power magic called Nirvana with the help of another wizard Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza and Happy are sent to team up with other guilds like Blue Pegasus and a wizard from the guild Cait Shelter named Wendy and her own flying cat named Carla. And so these wizards team up and try to take down the Oracion Seis. And so, a minute ago, when I said that this introduced two characters that I love and that's Wendy and Carla. I love these two. Especially Wendy. If you recall, when I did my top 10 Fairy Tail characters, I put her at number 7. And I still stand by that. She's great and I really like Carla too. But there's other things I like too. Like, I really like the members from Blue Pegasus and another thing is how imaginative it is. This might sound weird, but, Fairy Tail, to me at least, is one of the most imaginative manga/animes I've ever seen. I know all manga/animes are imaginative, but, I personally think Fairy Tail stands as one of the most imaginative for me. I love how creative it is and this is no exception. And the many things that they come across in this story are so enjoyably creative and likeable. It's all really fun and I love how the characters deal with the different members of the Oracion Seis. And my favourite part is something that happens near the end when "someone" helps Natsu beat the leader of the Oracion Seis, which makes that character really likeable.

3. The Tower of Heaven: This is the story arc that explains Erza's backstory and we get to understand everything to do with her. Apparently when she was a young girl, she was forced to be in this huge tower called the Tower of Heaven and she was able to make friends there. One was named Jellal, but when he was captured and tortured to be the vessel of the evil wizard Zeref, he turned evil and banished Erza from the tower who tried to help him along with the other friends they made there. And ever since then, Jellal has manipulated the other friends to make them think Erza abandoned them to make them work faster on the tower because he's trying to resurrect Zeref. And so, what I really like is the same thing I mentioned a minute ago. About how much fun this is. I mean, Hiro Mashima, the creator of Fairy Tail, has so many things happening at one, but at the same time, he keeps it so interesting and he's able to flesh out Erza's character and make her more interesting and give you reasons for understanding her personality. And I think Jellal was awesome. Obviously, its not really him because he's just being manipulated, but still, he's really cool and I like how Hiro can do these things like having all these characters doing these, have them be interesting and fun to watch, but also make a ton of this stuff make sense and we buy into it because it's so well told and so much fun. I love that aspect of this series. And I like the friends that're in the tower like Simon, who's a really likeable character, especially when he interacts with Natsu and when he saves Erza. And, I would say my favourite part is the fight between Natsu and Jellal. Which might be my favourite fight in the whole series so far with Natsu using Dragon Force for the first time. Watch.

2. The Cursed Island: Coming in close to number 1 is the Cursed Island at number 2. This was the first really big storyline in the whole series. When Happy steals an S-ranked mission for him, Natsu and Lucy to go on, they end up going and Gray goes with them. And it's a mission to break a curse on an island who's thinks the moon it's turning them into monsters. And when on the island, they discover Gray's childhood friend named Lyon who's trying to resurrect an old monster called Deliora so he can kill it and show how strong he is and outclass his and Gray's teacher named Ur. And, just like the last storyline and how that fleshed out Erza's character, this one fleshes out Gray's and makes him more understandable. And I just really love how this story is presented and told. Every second in this is perfect to me. There's never a single minute where I'm bored or I want to move onto something else because I'm loving how much fun this is and how well told it is. And the whole Gray vs. Lyon dilemma is great. I just love it all so much.

And my number 1 favourite storyline in Fairy Tail is... Edolas: And finally at number 1 is the storyline when Natsu and the others get transported to the alternate version of their world called Edolas where he, Happy, Gray, Gajeel, Lucy, Erza, Wendy and Carla have to try to save everyone who have all been turned into a gigantic Lacrima. While there, they find out that this is where Happy and Carla came from. Their species are called Exceeds who're all cats and they're told that they were send to Earthland to kill all the Dragon Slayers like Natsu, Wendy and Gajeel, which of course, they never knew and when they find out, they're all heartbroken. (It wasn't really why they were sent there, but that's just what they were told.) And then finally, they all have to go up against the power hungry king who has a robot dragon that Natsu, Gajeel and Wendy have to destroy. This is just such a brilliantly told story. I love it so incredibly much. I love the pacing, the motivations and the different twists and turns they take in this. Hiro also manages to make some really despicable villains here. The king and Edolas's version of Erza are both evil and they both want to kill all the other Exceeds in order to gain ever lasting power. There's even some pretty sad moments too. Like, when Happy and Carla are told about what their mission was, they're incredibly sad about it and you do feel sorry for them and even Natsu and Wendy are being told at the same time. In fact, speaking of Happy and Carla, when they're separated from the others, they actually run into Happy's parents and the mother's a really kind hearted lady where the father is just as clichédly cranky as you can imagine. And I mean that in a good way. Not only that, but they also find out that the "queen" of the Exceeds is actually Carla's mother. And it's just super great with the progression of this whole story. I feel it just keeps getting better and better as it keeps going. Like I said before when I was explaining how this is a really creative series and, for me, this is the best example of that. It's all really enjoyably imaginative and I love every single minute of it. I especially love how Hiro brought back Lisanna in this story arc, and, if you saw my top 10 favourite Fairy Tail characters list, she's my third favourite character and I love how he did bring her back here. And all that is why the Edolas storyline is my favourite storyline in all of Fairy Tail.

My paintings of Sora transformations in Kingdom Hearts

So this is something I've been thinking about doing for a while, but, like when I did my actually regular Kingdom Hearts character paintings, I was kinda thinking I wouldn't be able to paint these properly. But, I finally thought of it even more and so I did it. This entry will be paintings I did of Sora in Kingdom Hearts when he has some sort of transformation when he's in a particular world. I tried my hardest with all these and I hope you all like these too. And I think I did do a pretty good job with a lot of these. Justice League

And so everyone, here we are at the last comic book movie of 2017 and one of the most anticipated of all time, Justice League. I was so unbelievably excited for this movie. Sure, the DC.E.U doesn't have the greatest track record ever, but they did have Wonder Woman this year, which was pretty good, plus, this movie was starring characters I've loved from the comics and cartoons I've been reading and watching for a long time. Plus, when you really think about it, this is the DC.E.U's version of the Avengers. And with all that together, and the fact that it is the Justice League, I was so excited. And what did I think of it? ...Well... some might agree or disagree when I say this, but I had a great time with this movie and I really liked it. Or, at the very least, I really liked a lot of parts from it. There were so many things in this I didn't like, but there were a lot of things here that I absolutely loved. Like, a lot. This movie haven't been getting the best reviews ever, which is kinda sad to hear considering everyone was excited for this movie like me, but, while I can't say I don't understand, because there were things here that were bad, but I still had an absolute blast with this movie. I really liked it. Okay, before I get into that, let's talk about the story first. And, yes, like the other movies I've reviewed this year, the first part will be spoiler free, and then, after a warning, I'll get into the spoilers. Okay, what's the story? It opens up with Batman stopping a criminal in order to lure something out and then we see everyone who knew Superman still really missing him. In fact, even Martha Kent is selling the family house. After that, we see Batman trying to find and recruit Aquaman, the Flash and Cyborg but some of them aren't going so well. The Amazons also have one of the Mother Boxes with it acting up and then Steppenwolf comes from it. He tries to get it and the Amazons try to stop him, but he manages to get it and get away. Wonder Woman then tells Batman about Steppenwolf and the Mother Boxes and says they need to recruit the other as fast as they can. But another problem they're facing is that Cyborg isn't very happy with being part machine now but then his dad gets kidnapped by a Parademon so now those four come together and fight Steppenwolf who's been trying to find the other Mother Boxes. And when they find him and fight him, Aquaman joins them. And I'll stop right there. So, there's obviously a lot of stuff in this movie that works really well, and there's definitely some stuff that really doesn't. But first, let's go over the good stuff. The cast is really great hear. Ben Affleck is still awesome as Batman and this version of Batman is even better than in Batman V Superman. He doesn't kill anyone, he has a few funny one liners and his interactions with the everyone is a lot of fun. Gal Gadot is really cool as Wonder Woman again and, while she may not have been as good as in the Wonder Woman solo movie earlier this year, she's still really good. And all the new ones are really great too. Ezra Miller was a lot of fun as the Flash. He's the funniest part of the movie and he never gets annoying. Jason Momoa is awesome as Aquaman, if not a little over the top. But I still really liked him. And Ray Fisher as Cyborg was really, really good. But, we'll get into his character in a second. And everyone else, even if the characters don't appear a lot here, they're all really great. We'll get into one character and actor in the spoiler section. A lot of the effects are really cool. Not all of them, but still. There were a lot of funny scenes in this that made me and the audience laugh pretty hard, especially one scene in particular that made everyone, including me, laugh out loud. I'll say what it was in the spoilers. And, probably my favourite part was the interactions between the characters. Every time we saw those scenes, I was loving it and there was a lot of comedy that came from it. Although, I'm just gonna say it, some of the interactions and how it's done and at what time reminds me a lot of, again, the first Avengers movie. Even down to how it's done and when it's done. They get together, they fight the villain once and then they sorta have some arguing amongst themselves, which they resolve fast and team up properly to fight the main villain again, just like in the first Avengers. There are so many scenes that reminded me of the first movie. Which, I guess is kinda what was to be expected because, Joss Whedon, who directed the first two Avengers movies had to come in after Zack Snyder left before they were finished to do some rewrites and reshoots. And when it's shown what scenes he did, you can very easily tell. But, sorta moving away from that, because we are in the good things here, this world is so much more like a real fun world. Unlike the movies from last year which were really dark and depressing, this one, and Wonder Woman, are much more colourful and fun. It feels so much more like a fun time in this movie than some of those other ones. The music is also really cool. Some of it is just the standard kinda music you'd hear in a lot of comic book movies nowadays, but sometimes, and this is a little bit of a spoiler, but not really, they actually do remixes of music from past DC movies, which was really cool to hear, like the original Batman music. That was awesome. And, finally, for the good stuff, probably the thing I loved in this movie the most was how epic and awesome it really felt. I'll explain more in the spoilers, but, there was one scene in particular that made me really giddy and excited and I was so hyped when it happened. I had a really big grin on my face when it happened. Again, I'll explain in the spoilers. Okay, now let's get into the negatives, 'cause this is far from perfect. As to be expected from something like this, there are so many things in this that make no sense at all, like some character's motivations and ideals. Even some of their personalities. The story is also really weak. Not only is the structure not very good, but the pacing is really, really weird. I mean, it's doesn't let up at all. It gets into the main plot right away. Again, I know the Avengers kinda did the same thing, but, in that movie, it made sense because you already got attached to those characters and they had likeable personalities. Here, it's not even clear for a lot of them. With the members of the Avengers, we already knew who they were because they had individual movies to set them up and make them likeable. Here, they just rush everything. That's the biggest thing with this movie, it's really, really rushed. They try to cram so much in here as possible with setting up all these characters, introducing some of them like Steppenwolf and they cut from scene to scene and location to location so many times with so many things happening that it's really rushed. I think the best example of this is with Cyborg. I mean, he's likeable and Ray Fisher does do his best, but they don't really do anything with him and he don't get to know him at all. And the scenes with him and his dad are way too fast that, even though the acting is really good, it doesn't excuse the fact that it does it way too fast. Also, while a lot of the effects and action are really good, some of this is really bad. There are so many bad C.G.I and green screen moments and sometimes the action is edited weird that you can't follow it very well. And, probably the biggest weakness of this movie is the villain, Steppenwolf. This guy sucks so hard. Not only does he look really C.G.I, but he's also really generic, nonthreatening and really unmemorable. I don't remember a thing about this guy other than he was after the Mother Boxes and that he called them Mother. And, one last thing for the negatives, they have some characters have some connections that don't sense. Probably the biggest is Batman to Superman. He wants him back, okay, fine, but that doesn't really make sense with the way he acts, especially since they were only friends for an hour in Batman V Superman and even before that, Batman wanted to kill him. I know they were friends afterwards, but still. So anyway, finishing this part of the review up, Justice League is a really fun time at the cinema, but it's far from perfect as I've said with way too many cheesy scenes. I personally liked it a lot and I loved certain scenes, but there wasn't anything that made me think that this one of my favourite comic book movies ever. I would say that this is just a fun time if you just ignore the problems I mentioned, but you'll most likely have problems with it too. And so that's my review of Justice League. Firstly, I want to talk about the return of Superman.

That was one of the best parts of the movie in my opinion that I absolutely loved. Henry Cavill is still really good as the character and this is my favourite onscreen version of the character since the 1978 version. He's full of hope, fun and cheesiness. I loved it. Although, the fact that they had to edit off the moustache he had was kinda distracting and really weird in some parts. That part that I said I absolutely loved the most was when all six of them finally teamed up at the end. I lost my mind when I saw that. Seeing these heroes on the big screen fighting Steppenwolf was so amazing and I loved every second of it. Especially that group shot of them all together on that roof. It made me really geek out. It reminded me a lot of the group shot in the first Avengers again.

And, like I said, for me, the funniest part was when Superman said to Batman "Do you bleed" like what Batman said to him in Batman V Superman, and then Batman says "Yup, something is definitely bleeding." That was the scene that made me and the whole audience laugh. It reminded me a lot of Tony Stark, which is what I like from Batman, when he lets out a joke every once in a while like in the original animated shows and you can tell that that was something from Joss Whedon. And the interactions between Batman and Superman were great and I also loved that. That flashback with everyone vs. Steppenwolf and the Parademons was absolutely amazing. We even got to see some Green Lanterns, which made me geek out as well. I really loved that Darkseid reference. This movie handled references really good and that was no exception. And now, I want to talk about my favourite part. The end credit scenes. The first was really funny with Superman and Flash racing to see who's the fastest man alive, which they've done in the comics a lot, which was really funny, but the end credit scene, which, again, I think was my favourite scene in the movie, was Lex Luthor talking to Deathstroke.

That really, really made me lose my mind with excitement. I went nuts when I saw that. The fact that Deathstroke is now 100% confirmed to be in this universe is absolutely amazing to me considering I love this character. He looks really cool and it was great to see him. And it looked like he and Luthor were talking about setting up the Injustice Gang. That was great to see and if Batman's solo movie is out next year, hopefully we'll see Deathstroke be the main villain, which I would love. And so those are the spoilers of Justice League.
