My top 10 Johnny Test episodes

Johnny Test is a TV show from Cartoon Network that I've liked for a long time. Probably since it first aired in 2005. I'm not sure what people think of it but I like it. I don't know if I'd say it's one of my favourite TV shows. I mean SpongeBob and Chowder are still my two favourites of all time, but I'm not sure with this one. It centres around an 11-year old boy named Johnny Test and the adventures he has with he usually causes. He has two 13 year-old sisters named Susan and Mary who are genius scientists who used science his dog named Dukey to make him talk and act like a person and so him and Johnny are best friends. And the four of them along with a couple others know and they try to keep it a secret from everyone else. Susan and Mary have a crush on their next door neighbour named Gil. And another scientist named Eugene, or as he likes to call himself, "Bling, Bling Boy" has a crush on Susan and tries to get together with her on multiple occasions and actually, the episodes where he does try are often some of the funniest parts in the show. Johnny himself is a school-hating, sorta lazy, gaming and candy-loving guy who actually is likable. There are also these two government men named Mr. Black and Mr. White who are always allies. They're both two of the funniest characters in the show. And now lets get down to my top 5 favourite Johnny Test episodes.
10. Johnny's Grow Your Own Monster: After Jonny buys a "Grow Your Own Monster Kit" and puts it in a liquid that Susan and Mary give him, the monster comes to life and Johnny tries to train it. By the way, he names it Gamaroid. Just from that one simple story, this episode has a ton of things to offer. Just the opening of the episode is enough to keep people entertained or interested. And yes, in case you're wondering, this episode is funny. The best parts are from the General. He's another one of the funniest characters in the show.
9. Johnny Dukey Doo: You can easily guess what they're copying from that title. Scooby-Doo. Yeah, it's a mystery episode. After a few ghosts are apparently haunting an old mansion, Johnny, Dukey, Susan, Mary and Gil go to check it out. And, from when I say this copies Scooby Doo, they take shots at it. Johnny even says a few times, "I've seen this somewhere before" because he's talking about how Scooby-Doo does stuff like this. And the actually mystery is nice when the 5 of them are doing stuff. And it's pretty funny when they make fun of that Scooby-Doo cliché where when you pull a book, a passage opens. And they even do the same kind of ending with the trap.
8. Sonic Johnny: When Susan and Mary give Johnny a new scooter that can make him travel into the future, he and Dukey accidently destroy the future and are fugitives. And rest is them going further into the future and ruining it more and more. Well, at least 'til the end. This was actually one of first episodes I ever watched. Mainly because it's from the first season. Mainly what I like is the intrigue in the episode. Especially when they go to the furthest future when they meet the older Susan and Mary and they fix the scooter for them to go back in time. And they even make a scene where Johnny tries to use reverse on the scooter thinking it would make it go back in time and then they have a funny scene where they realise they're not.
7. Deep Sea Johnny: This is also part of the first season. I actually vaguely remember seeing this for the first time many years ago and laughing pretty hard. When Susan and Mary turn Johnny and Dukey into half human/fish, they accidently allow a shark, an octopus and an eel to breath air and the rest is the 4 of them trying to stop them from kill people on the beach. I'd say my favourite part is when Johnny and Dukey are trying to stop the sea creatures. Each one is clever, funny and inventive. And even the opening is funny when they're underwater and they're looking around and finding stuff. And then the end with them done, there's a scene where they make fun of something that happened before in the episode.
6. The Good, The Bad & The Johnny: Like a couple others, this has been another favourite of mine for a long time. After Susan and Mary remove Johnny bad side, he begins to act very good and this makes him and Dukey scared but then later the bad side grows and becomes another Johnny called Bad Johnny. Bad Johnny is actually a lot of fun to watch with just the bad stuff he's doing and some of them are pretty funny. And how they get him to turn back is clichéd, but it's kinda creative in their way and is funny. Even just scene where they had it done was funny when Bad Johnny thought he figured out what their plan was. And the very last scene is very, very funny with the last lab scene and they've destroyed it again.
5. Johnny's Haunted House: This is actually an episode where Johnny actually tries to do something nice for his Dad. Usually whenever we see them together, he's trying to annoy him. After their Mom and Dad tell Johnny to clean his room for when someone comes, Johnny ends up turning the house into a Haunted House after he realises his Dad always wanted to decorate the house but he grabbed the wrong book and now they have to find a way to turn the house back to normal while also staying alive from the monsters inside the house. I'd say what I especially like in this are the scene where the five of them are running through the house trying to put things back to normal. It's really cool and really adventurous. It may sound strange but it does almost make you want to be there because it feels like it would be fun if you were there. And yes, this episode is funny. Mainly when they're in the basement or when they're running through one long corridor of monsters.
4. Li'l Johnny: This is actually an episode I remember talking to myself a lot about when I was younger. Mainly from how cool it was. When Johnny's Dad asks him to put his toys away, he asks Susan and Mary to build him a shrink ray to make all his toys small so no one can see them. But he accidently begins to shrink everything, including himself and Dukey. They then shrink so much they enter a subatomic universe and they decide to never leave because it's where everything is great for them. But realise that they have to go back eventually at the end. I'd say the best part in my opinion is the scene where they're small on the bed and they're being chased by the Dust Mites and then they shrink again. I love that scene because of funny part and the fact that it's surprising that the 2 of them are able to outrun thousands of tiny insects. And the last shot of this episode does kinda catch you off guard from the fact that you don't expect it. Watch this episode yourself and you'll know what I mean.
3. Johnny Test In Black & White: This has always been one of my favourites. Mainly from how fun it is. After the general tells Mr. Black and Mr. White to spy on Johnny, Susan and Mary. After 1 day of it, Johnny, Susan and Mary decide to shrink Johnny and Dukey inside a miniature submarine and have them go inside Mr. Black and Mr. White's bodies and have them forget the general giving them the order to spy on them. This plot has actually been done before. There's actually an episode of SpongeBob that did something similar to this. But this version is most likely my favourite because it's really funny. There's even an intense scene where they have to get out of Mr. Black's head before a cold virus can kill them. The music and the parts cut back between them and Susan, Mary, Black and White in the lab makes the scene really intriguing and entertaining. And at the end all 6 of them even manages to get a little bit of revenge against the general. And of course, there's an awesome scene where they're just floating around and it's funny and it's cool of them in Mr. Black's stomach then head and I like that scene.
2. Johnny's Royal Flush: I actually only got into this episode recently. After Susan and Mary turn Johnny into a fish, their dad accidently flushes him down the toilet so they turn Dukey into a fish to go get him. While down there Johnny sees weird things including an alligator and he also meets other fish and the rest is the 2 of them and the fish trying to out swim the gator. So yeah, simple plot but what makes it here on the list is the fact that it's funny and they do cool stuff with it like showing the amount of stuff that's in the sew that all of them use including a flashlight, a chainsaw and even a dental drill. Each of them when they saw that thing is really funny and has me laughing a lot. Especially the chainsaw one and Dukey says "I don't believe this. Who flushes a chainsaw." I know if you read it, it doesn't sound funny but the way he says it is funny. And I even think the ending is pretty grim. They have it where Johnny uses a fan to kill the alligator. And it might be me alone but I think that that ending is cool. And now we're at my number 1 episode and that is...
And my number 1 favourite Johnny Test episode is... Johnny Test: Extreme Crime Stopper: This has actually always been my favourite episode. When a gang of three boys called the Extreme Teen Team begin to hijack a bunch of things like drinks and treats and even a band, Johnny and Dukey go after them to stop them but mainly to get the drinks and treats. I'd say my favourite scene is where we see them chasing the team and they're going all over the place. That whole scene is really funny and the episode as a whole is funny and interesting period. And even the scenes where even, and not just the Extreme Teen Team, are talking about extreme stuff, it's beyond hilarious. Some of the funniest stuff in the show. Even the parts with just Johnny, Dukey, Susan and Mary interacting with Mr. Black and Mr. White could take up the majority of the episode because they're so much fun to watch. But of course, that's not what the episode is about. It's about awesome chase scenes and action. And when that stuff starts, it's some of the best in the entire show. Each one serves a purpose and they all look awesome. Like I said, I feel the best one is the chase scene with them chasing the team. And the ending is pretty clever with Johnny tricking the team into jail by making them think it some extreme hang out. And all that is why Johnny Test: Extreme Crime Stopper is my favourite Johnny Test episode. Thanks for reading and I hope this list makes you want to watch the show too. You can watch it on YouTube. I'll hopefully be writing something else soon, so see you then.
