Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

So everyone, we've arrived at my 600th blog entry. I was originally going to do something else for this, but then I went to see this movie and I changed my mind. And so, yeah, I'm really happy and kinda surprise that I've managed to make it this far and that this is actually happening. Anyway, let's get to the review. So this was kind of a big movie for me 'cause I was really excited. I love the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie as I've said a ton of times. It's my favourite pirate movie ever and one of my favourite action movies ever. The rest of the movies are, well, they're not the greatest movies ever, if you know what I mean. I already did reviews for all of them last year, so if you haven't yet, go read those to know my full thoughts on them. And so with that, and after hearing some reviews of everyone saying it was fine, I went to see it kinda excited but not really expecting much. And what did I think of it? I thought it was, like everyone else says, fine. It's definitely not as good as the first movie, but I would say that it might be my second favourite and an improvement over the others, but that's not really saying much I guess. And yes, this will be divided into a spoiler free part and then I'll do a spoiler part so if you don't want it spoiled, yeah, don't worry, I'll do a spoiler section. But first up, what's the story? It opens up with a boy named Henry trying to find his father who's actually Will Turner from some of the other movies. Years later it shows Jack, Gibbs and some other pirates robbing a bank, but then that fails and the other pirates leave him. It then shows Henry, now played by Brenton Thwaites, trying to find Jack so he can help him find something called the Poseidon's Trident that he believes will help him lift the curse from Will so he can be with him. And there's also a scene where we see Henry being apart of a ship to find him and it goes into a cave and some other ship begins to destroy it and kill everyone. And then we see the villain of the movie named Salazar, played by Javier Bardem. He makes Henry promise that if he finds Jack, he'll tell him. And so when Henry makes it to land, there's this woman there named Carina, played by Kaya Scodelario, who's also looking for a way to find the trident. And from here we see some old faces and new ones trying to find the trident and trying to find each other. And that's where I'll stop. Obviously, while that doesn't seem like a lot, there's still more to the story and that leads to a lot of great moments and some pretty bad moments too. But before we go to the negatives, I'll go over the good stuff. Some of the cast is good. Johnny Depp is of course great as Jack again. Yes, he does seem like he's overdoing the performance a little, but I always love him as this characters and this is no exception. Geoffrey Rush and Kevin McNally are still fantastic as Barbossa and Gibbs. I love them in these roles. And some of the new cast aren't all bad. Javier Bardem is great and cool as Salazar. Brenton Thwaites is pretty good as Henry. Nothing special, but still likeable and fine. Even the cameos were cool. The action, direction, C.G.I, cinematography and sets are still fantastic too. These movies always nail that aspect. The climax is also cool and really interesting. And the whole C.G.I deageing is awesome here. C.G.I deageing is where an actor has C.G.I on him or her to make them look younger. And when they do that to Jack, it's really awesome. This is really impressive and great to look at. There's even some really funny scenes. A lot of the funny scenes here aren't funny, but a large part of them are. Especially a scene that involved the Black Pearl. That made me laugh out loud. And I also really liked the ending where everything wraps up. There are even some big plot twists, especially one is particular involving Barbossa. That really surprised me. And yeah, that's the good stuff, but for the negatives. First up, the plot is so dumb here. Not only is it really predictable in so many places, but a lot of the things that happen here feel like some rehashed stuff from the other films. Some things don't even make sense. And there are even some big plot-holes that I asked myself when I finished watching it. Also, while I said some of the cast is good, some the cast is kinda bad too. Like Kaya Scodelario. At times she's fines and you do believe it, but man, this is not a good performance. There are a lot of times where she has to carry a lot of emotion in a scene, but it's not there at all. I thought she was pretty bad in a lot of these scenes. Same with some of the other cast too. And also, again, while some of the jokes are funny, some aren't and are kinda lazy and don't make sense. There are even some pretty boring scenes where it's nothing but exposition and a lot of it is a drag. They say some things so many times that it's just boring. Some of the plot twists I thought didn't think made sense. And the whole opening scene with the bank I mentioned, that scene was so weird. And not exactly in a good way. What was that at times anyway and it got a little too ridiculous. It was fun and funny, but still. And that's really it. So yeah, this film isn't as close to the first movie, but I think it might be my second favourite, but again, that's not really saying much. So I would say, if you like the Pirates movies and curious to watch this, go see it, fine. But don't expect anything special. And so everyone, that's my review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think and thank you again for getting us this far in my blog with this being my 600th entry again. Thank you all so much for reading this far and I look forward to writing more.
Spoilers:
Okay, firstly the twists. The twist where it shows where Jack got the compass from was cool and how he became captain. But then the big twist at the end where it's revealed that Barbossa is actually Carina's father, that really blew my mind. I didn't expect that at all. So that was a nice touch and when he finally died at the end, that was pretty emotional. And as for the ending I was talking about, where Will is freed and he returns to Henry and Elizabeth, that was a nice touch and it was a good send-off. And as for that super funny scene I was talking about with the Black Pearl, that was where it began to grow and then it stopped and it was still small on the ground and then when Barbossa threw it into the water and it looked like it wasn't going to come back up, that was what made me laugh out loud. And there was also an after credit scene with Will and Elizabeth and Will having a dream about Davy Jones. That was one of the things I thought didn't make a lot of sense, but it wasn't that bad and it was a cool fake-out. And that's really all the spoilers. There isn't a lot of them. And so, thank you all for reading this and thank you again for getting this far with 600 entries and look forward to a lot more in future. Especially with what I have planned next.

My paintings of Kirby characters

Something I've never spoken about before is that I really like a lot of Kirby games. I only got into playing Kirby games after I played as him in Smash Bros. And so to commemorate that, I thought it would be a good idea to do some paintings of some Kirby characters. I didn't do a ton, but I did the ones I thought would be good ones to do. And so, here they are. I hope you all like these and please comment down below to tell me what you think. (Also, something else I want to mention is this. My next entry will actually be my 600th one, so I'm going to be doing something special for my next few entries. Thank you all so much for reading so far and I hope you all continue reading and liking what I'm going to be doing in the future.) And so, without any more interruptions, let's begin.

My top 5 anime movies

So in this entry I'll be counting down my top 5 favourite anime movies. Now, with the rules here, I'm doing anime series based movies as well as anime movies that were sorta made as their own thing. And by that, I'm talking about movies that were made by like Studio Ghibli. Yeah, I haven't mentioned it before, but I like a lot of Studio Ghibli movies. I only sorta recently got into them, but I really like a lot of them. I don't know if I can say I loved a lot of them, but I did enjoy the vast majority of the ones I have seen. And so let's begin and I hope you all like this.
5. Fairy Tail The Movie: Dragon Cry: Starting us off is the most recent movie on this list, Fairy Tail The Movie: Dragon Cry. I was really excited when I started watching this because I'm a huge fan of Fairy Tail and I was especially excited about the fact that this was continuing the story as we were getting closer to the end. And it didn't disappoint. This was a super fun and cool movie too. As I said before, in this movie, Natsu starts to turn into a dragon now that Igneel is dead and while that's happening, everyone travels somewhere and now they have to find out it's dark secret that's there. And this is a super violent movie too. It got an 15 rating and it definetly earned it. Overall, really fun movie that you should try to find. It took me a while to try and find it since it's so recent.
4. Howl's Moving Castle: The first of the studio Ghibli movies on this list is Howl's Moving Castle. One of it's most popular movies. The main and basic thing I can really say for this is that it's a very excellently made movie with really great ideas. It's about this girl who has a crush on a cursed guy named Howl. She's also been cursed by a witch to be turned into an old woman every so often. And I don't want to spoil the whole story for you because I think it's better if you experience it yourselves. Like I said, go see it. it's a very entertaining movie with some really good dubbing as well.
3. Spirited Away: Maybe the most famous and beloved anime movie of all time is at number 3, Spirited Away. I had heard billions of great things about this before I saw it and so I was really excited. So I saw it last week and I was floored by what I watched. It was fantastic. I wasn't as blown away by it as everyone else was and I didn't love it, but I thought was really fantastic. This is studio Ghibli at it's best in my opinion. It centres around a girl named Sen who's moved to a neighbourhood where there are spirits everywhere and her parents are turned into pigs. So she has to find out how to turn them back to normal. This movie has so many fantastic ideas behind it. It is so original and so interesting with how many things there are here and how original it all it. Just everything that's here is great. All the spirits have great designs and there's even a few quiet moments where you just appreciate the atmosphere that the movie's creating. And again, really great dubbing here. Overall, definetly Studio Ghibli's best and I was told that this was one of the best animated movies ever. And while I don't entirely agree and I didn't love it, it's still understandable.
2. Bleach The Movie: Diamond Dust Rebellion: Back to the anime series movies is the only Bleach mentioned movies on the list, Bleach The Movie: Diamond Dust Rebellion. In this movie, it looks like Toshiro has betrayed the Soul Society along with a man who was supposed to be dead named Kusaka. And now Ichigo and everyone else has to find out what going on. I would say that the reason this movie and my number 1 are higher than the other ones I've mentioned is because I think they're more fun and I find them more entertaining. And that's the best way for me to describe this movie. It's a really fun movie and I have an absolute blast with it every time I watch it. Especially the ending. The third act of this movie is the best. And I think the climax is one of the best anime climaxes I've ever seen. And so, if you're curious to watch this, especially if you like anime and you like Bleach and you haven't seen this yet, I recommend you do.
Honourable mentions:
Kiki's Delivery Service,
Bleach The Movie: The Hellverse,
Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash In The Land Of Snow,
Pokémon: The First Movie,
Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F
And my number 1 favourite anime movie is... Naruto Shippuden The Movie: Blood Prison: And finally at number 1 is Blood Prison. I already spoke about this before in my ranking of the 11 current Naruto movies and so if you want to know my full thoughts, go read it if you haven't yet. Especially if you have but go read it again because I made some changes to it. Overall, I think this movie is incredible. It's the most fun I have ever had watching an anime movie and I love it every single time I watch it. I would say the part where it really picks up is during the scene in the cave with Naruto and  Ryuuzetsu. I love that scene and from that moment on I am never bored. I like the part before it, but from the scene in the cave onward is amazing. And as I said before, this is just a really fun movie. I love watching it every single time I do and I love a lot of the new characters they introduce into the movie. You even feel sorry for some of them like Ryuuzetsu and Muku. I really don't have a lot of other things to say about it. Read my ranking of the 11 current movies to know my full thoughts and you'll get more info on it. And so everyone, those are my top 5 anime movies. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think or tell me what your favourite is if you like any anime movie.

My top 10 characters I want to see become Pop Vinyl figures

So this is a strange one, but something I've never mentioned before is that I collect Pop Vinyl figures. In case you don't know what they are, they're like collectable in-box bobble heads of characters from things like movies or TV shows, comics, games, Netflix shows and even anime.

(Those aren't mine, that's just a  picture I found to show an example.) I've never mentioned before that I collect them. The reason I didn't show you guys before like in my collections entry is because I didn't have a ton of them. I thought it would be better to save it until later. And yeah, I'm hoping to do another collections entry soon. Some time in a few months. And so, this entry will cover either a group  I want to see as figures and individual characters too. If you collect these or know what they are and know me at all, then you should be able to know who my number 1 is going to be. But I'm going to count down my other 9 as well. And so, let's begin.
10. Mario: This is one I'm surprised isn't a Pop Vinyl set yet because as I said, there are Pop figures of all sorts of video game characters as well, and so  I thought they would have included the most famous video game franchise ever.  I can absolutely imagine a lot of these characters becoming figures. Especially Mario, Luigi, Wario and Yoshi. I would really like that.
9. Phineas and Ferb: Another one that I'm kinda surprised that is not already a figure is my favourite Disney Channel show, Phineas and Ferb. Like what I just mentioned with the Mario characters, I can definitely imagine a lot of these characters being figures. Especially Phineas, Ferb and Perry. Seeing those become actual figures would be really cool and I'd get them.
8. Final Fantasy: Kinda a far fetched one, but another one I would love to see is some Final Fantasy characters. I can't imagine a whole lot of them being figures, but I think if they could include characters like Cloud, Sephiroth and maybe Leon as well would be awesome and I easily imagine being figures and imagine what they'd look like. I think Sephiroth already is, but in case not, I'm mentioning him here.
7. More Sonic the Hedgehog characters: Now, when I say "more," I'm talking about the fact that there's already some Sonic figures. There's Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. I only have Sonic. This is what they look like.

And so I think it would be really cool to see more characters like Shadow, Eggman, Amy, Cream and a few others. I can totally imagine that happening.
6. Ben 10: This is a show I haven't spoke about a lot, one show that I do like is Ben 10. I've liked this show ever since it first started. So I think some characters can become figures like Ben himself, as well as some of his aliens, Gwen and maybe Max as well. Maybe even some villains as well. I think a lot of those could work. Also, I'm talking about the original show, not Alien Force or Ultimate Alien or Omniverse or the reboot. I mean the original show from 2005.
5. The Lion Guard: I don't think there have been any figures yet from this channel, but I would absolutely love to see the Lion Guard being Pop figures too. I don't see a lot of them being figures, but I think the five Guard members could be figures too and maybe also some side characters like Jasiri, Kiara and maybe some of the villains too. Simba, Timon and Pumbaa are already figures by themselves a just being Disney figures, but I'd like to see the Guard actually be part of it too as being a box set for the actual Lion Guard like all these other ones.
4. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: As I said before, even anime can become these figures as well. There's already a  ton like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z and Fairy Tail. So I think adding more would be really cool. And one that they could add is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I don't see a ton of characters being made, but I can see a few like Ed, Al, Mustang and maybe Hohenheim. I can see a couple more maybe happening, but yeah, I do think Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood could work as more Pop figures.
3. More Naruto characters: As I just said, Naruto has already been made into a few figures. These are the ones that have been so far and which characters they are.

Image result for naruto pop vinyl
And I do think they could add a lot more characters like Hinata, Kiba, Shino, Neji, Lee, Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, Tenten, Orochimaru, Kabuto and a few others as well. Maybe as the Boruto show keeps going, they could make some figures of those characters too. Seeing them all being figures and being in a collection I think would be so cool. I already have one of those Naruto figures and so getting the rest and the idea that they could introduce more I think could be great and really exciting.
2. Chowder: Next is my second favourite show ever. Now, if you don't know about these Pop figures, then you might be wondering why I don't have. SpongeBob on this. Well, that's because SpongeBob is already a set and I have almost all of them. This is what they look like.

And so I would absolutely adore it if they could make figures of Chowder. I know that that's really unlikely because Chowder is very well known. But I love this show and so seeing the characters made into these Pop Vinyl figures would be totally awesome. The ones I think would be really cool would be Chowder, Shnitzel, Mung, Truffles, Panini, Gorgonzola and Gazpacho. If they were ever made and put into a separate set, I would get all of them.
And my number 1 character I want to see become a Pop Vinyl figure is... More Kingdom Hearts characters: This is what I meant at the start when I said you should be able to know what I was going to put at number 1. And when I say more, again, there's already some figures of Kingdom Hearts made, which I am so happy about. I already have some of them. These are the ones that have been made so far.

And obviously, the ones I want to see become figures are Sora, Riku, Kairi and a few others. I heard that the reason that King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pete, Chip and Dale are figures and not Sora is because of what I mentioned before. The fact that Sora is technically owned by Disney so they get to decide what to do with him. But I would love to see Sora as a figure. He would be the number 1 figure I would want more than any other. I would say I would go with his Kingdom Hearts 2 design. I would also love to see Kairi, Riku and a ton of others be figure too. There really isn't any other thing to say about it except I would absolutely love to see more Kingdom Hearts characters become Pop Vinyl figures. And so yeah, those are my 10 characters I want to see become Pop Vinyl figures. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think or tell me what you'd like to see be a figure if you like them.

Well everyone, today we got the third and final trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming. My top 10 Big Bang Theory episodes

(Before we start, unless you're 15 or over, don't read this because there's going to be adult clips shown here.) So this is something I haven't thought of doing until kinda recently, but I decided to talk about one of my favourite Sitcoms of all time, the Big Bang Theory. This show is about physicists who get into all sorts of hilarious problems and live kinda crazy lives. The characters are Sheldon, played by Jim Parsons, who's the funniest character in the show and is an arrogant, awkward and annoying guy said by everyone around him and almost always says things that have to do with science in some way or says some things in a complicated way. Then there's Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki, who's his roommate and is another physicists and has a crush on their neighbour named Penny, played by Kaley Cuoco, who isn't smart so she doesn't get a lot of things they tell her. There's also Howard, played by Simon Helberg, who's an expert in rocket science who likes to "do stuff" with women and makes a bunch of kinda inappropriate flirting jokes. And there's also Raj, played by Kunal Nayyar, who's from New Delhi and can't talk to women unless he's drunk. Sheldon, Leonard, Howard and Raj also like a lot of Sci-Fi stuff like Star Wars, Star Trek and a ton of comic book stuff so that's something I really like to watch. Here's a great example.
A lot of these episodes are really hilarious and I love a lot of them. So with that, let's get started.
10. The Pancake Batter Anomaly: Wow, what a funny episode. When Sheldon is sick, Leonard tries his best to stay far away from him as possible for the day and Sheldon begins to annoy Penny for help. And really, the best part is just watching Penny be constantly annoyed by Sheldon with him telling her all the things he wants her to do. Another great moment is at the beginning. Watch this.
And the ending is also hilarious when Leonard is in trouble with Penny. That scene is hilarious. And seeing Leonard trying to do everything he can to stay away from Sheldon is great. Very hilarious.
9. The Barbarian Sublimation: After Sheldon introduces Penny to an online game called Age Of Conon, she becomes obsessed with it and played nonstop and annoys Sheldon a lot for help. And that last part offers a lot of possibilities. She begins to interfere with things in his life like work, sleep and really everything. That becomes great to watch. Look at this scene.
And the different ways she begins to annoy him are perfect. I laugh out loud a lot. They're great scenes And the way it ends absolutely perfect. And the different things Sheldon and Leonard do to try to stop her is also funny. The opening is also gut-bustingly funny too with Sheldon and Penny outside in the hall. And watching Penny become insane from the game is great too with her ignoring everything around her just to focus on the game.
8. The Codpiece Topology: After Leonard and Penny break up, Leonard tries to get into another relationship and so he begins to date a woman he works with named Leslie Winkle who is Sheldon's archenemy as he says. Honestly, the best part of this episode in my opinion isn't the thing with Sheldon, Leonard and Leslie, even though that is great too. But in my opinion the best part is the whole thing with Sheldon and the Renaissance Fair. Watch.
Those scenes are what make it for me. And the rest is great too. Like Sheldon playing his Super Mario on his laptop.
7. The Large Hadron Collision: After Leonard invites Penny to come with him to Switzerland to see the Large Hadron Collider for Valentines Day, Sheldon does everything he can to make sure Leonard brings him instead because he wants to see it. He does everything he can but it doesn't work until the end but then that backfires. If you've seen the episode then you should know what I'm talking about. And like I said before, the different things he does to try to make Leonard take him is also funny. And I love the scene where Sheldon is showing Penny some kind of slideshow to convince her that he should go. And when they repeat that joke again, it kinda works when he tries to show Leonard. And in the end when we find out who Leonard does bring instead is funny, especially with the lines that are said. Which is another thing. I didn't say this above but this is a really quotable show and this episode is no exception. With a great story with great lines, The Large Hadron Collision is at number 7.
6. The Nerduana Annihilation: After Sheldon, Leonard, Howard and Raj buy a time machine from the movie the Time Machine, they become obsessed with it and cause Penny to yell at them for making her miss work. That leads Leonard to think about getting rid of all his stuff like comic books, toys and stuff like that. They even do things like pretend to move really fast when the other is using the machine if you know what that means. Even the scene with Leonard and Penny is kinda sad with what she says and we do understand both sides. This is another episode with great lines. I would say my favourite part is at the end when Sheldon has a dream. Watch this.
And speaking of a dream scene, there's a part where Leonard has a dream with him and Penny and the elevator.
That whole scene is great and so is this episode. Any scene with Sheldon is great and that ending really stands out to me as one of my favourite moments in the whole show.
5. The Precious Fragmentation: After Sheldon, Leonard, Howard and Raj find a prop from the real Lord of the Rings movies they all take a bet on who should have it. If you're a Lord of the Rings fan, kinda like me, then you'll absolutely have a blast watching this episode. But even besides that, it's also just a really entertaining episode too. And at the end when we find out who gets the ring is awesome. A really funny scene too. Especially the dream scene here too. Watch this.
I would say my favourite part of the episode is  Sheldon, Howard and Raj ate trying to make the other let go of the ring. Especially when Howard and Raj are insulting Sheldon grandmother. Watch.
That always make me laugh hard.
4. The Jiminy Conjecture: While Leonard and Penny are having time to themselves, Sheldon, Howard and Raj try to find a cricket and settle a bet they have to determine what kind it is. That offers tons of possibilities and this episode exploits a lot of them. The best part in my opinion are the scenes where the three of them are looking for it throughout the apartment and building. Those scenes are great and there's even a scene where they do find it and find talk to a professor named Doctor Crawley and ask him what kind it is who's kinda crazy but really funny too. Look.
That makes me laugh so much and the performance is great from that guy even if that's the only time we see him. But yeah, and also the scenes with Leonard and Penny drunk are funny too. And all that is why the Jiminy Conjecture is at number 4.
3. The Big Bran Hypothesis: When Sheldon sees what a mess Penny's apartment is, he sneaks in there and begins to clean with Leonard finding out and trying to stop him. But then... well... this happens. Watch.
That was hilarious. And anyway, the rest is them trying to make up and Sheldon trying to figure out what he did wrong. I think this episode is mainly here for that scene I just showed you. That's a great scene in my opinion. The rest of the episode is great, but I think that scene is where it is for me. But that scene is really great in my opinion, but the rest is also great. Especially a scene between Raj and Penny in the hall where Penny thinks he's listening to her but he's actually kinda scared to say anything. But while that is great, the scene I showed is really hilarious in my opinion.
2. The Bad Fish Paradigm: This was the very first episode I ever saw in this show. After Sheldon promises to keeps Penny's secret about not finishing community college, he begins to go nuts because he can't keep a secret. And everything he does to try to keep it is so funny with how it's killing him inside. He even decides he's going to move out and begins to annoy Howard and Raj when he goes to their homes like always. And the best part in my opinion is the part near the beginning where Sheldon and Penny are talking in the washing room. Look.
And at the end when it's accidently revealed, how it happens is so funny with what Howard does to Sheldon. If you've seen the episode then you'll know what I mean. Pretty much every line in this episode, especially coming from Sheldon, is also great and quotable. And the scene right before the credits with Leonard and Penny is also great and makes sense for future episodes. Really great episode and definetly watch it if you haven't.
And my number 1 favourite Big Bang Theory episode is... The Electric Can Opener Fluctuation: And finally at number 1 is The Electric Can Opener Fluctuation. This is another episode that's always been my favourite ever since I started watching this show years ago and I love every second of it. After Sheldon, Leonard, Howard and Raj come back from a 3 month science expedition, Sheldon is happy because he thinks he found something that would ground-breaking, but in actuality, what he found was just something that Howard, Leonard and Raj did to keep him from being annoying. And now Sheldon begins to resent them and eventually goes back home to Texas. This episode is the one with the best lines in the whole show ever in my opinion. They're all really funny and quotable. Really great performances too like Jim Parsons when he's reacting to when Howard and Raj tell him the truth and then in the canteen when Kripke is humiliating him. There's also a great moment when Sheldon is talking to Leonard and Penny about what he did and what their other plan was to keep him from annoying them. Those scenes made me laugh so hard when I was younger that whenever I wanted to quote it, I couldn't because I was laughing too much. That should tell you how funny it is and the scenes at Texas are amazing too. Especially with what Howard does. And so yeah, this episode is perfect in my opinion. And everyone, those are my top 10 favourite Big Bang Theory episodes. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think or tell me what your favourite episode is if you like this show too.

Cowboy Bebop Anime Review

Finishing my anime TV show reviews is the most recent anime I started watching and finished earlier today, Cowboy Bebop. Like when I started watching Death Note, this was an anime I had heard a lot of great things about before I started. I was able to start watching it because my brother had it so I borrowed it and started it as soon as I did. I watched some of reviews about it and I looked at some people's top 10 lists of anime TV shows and it was in the top 3 of a lot of them and even Chris Stuckmann said it was his favourite anime ever. And so I was beyond excited to start watching it. And from what I saw, again, I don't think it's necessarily one of my favourites, but I still ended up really enjoying. Yeah, another great anime show that I had a lot of fun watching. The basic plot of this is that it's set in the year 2071 and it revolves around these four bounty hunters, Spike, Jet, Faye and Edward. They don't always get along very well and they all have a difficult past. The main character is Spike who's voiced by the amazing Steve Blum who also did the voice of Wolverine in the Wolverine and the X-Men show. And he's awesome, he's the kind of person who sorta likes to do whatever he wants and doesn't care a lot about what others what to do. His past is that he had a partner named Vicious who betrayed him and ever since, he's been trying to find and kill him for what he did. His partner is Jet who's also awesome. Almost like some kinda father figure and brother figure. His past is that he was part of the police who had a girlfriend who left him and he lost his left arm. Faye is sort of a selfish, greedy but also kinda tortured woman who actually is over a century old. She was in an accident and doesn't remember anything before that. And Edward is actually a girl who's absolutely insane. She always moves and talks crazy who was always an orphan and is also a hacker. And since all these characters are so fleshed out like in Fairy Tail, you can watch them do anything. And their little dog named Ein is really cute too. Out of all of them, I would say Spike or Edward is my favourite character. Seeing her and Ein leave at the end was pretty sad. However, I'm going to be completely honest with you about something, I started watching this show and from the first few episodes thinking that this was a fun show with likeable characters, but I wasn't getting super into it. But, when I reached episode 5, that's when I got really into it. It's when we meet Vicious for the first time and the whole episode was awesome. And a lot of the show's best parts are when the four characters are interacting and doing their own thing or trying to get bounties. That's really what this whole show's about, but it's really entertaining. And as the show goes along and you learn more about these characters, you care more and more about them and where they're coming from. Vicious is also a cool villain. He doesn't show up for a lot of the show, but when he does, he's awesome. Also, kinda thing you might dislike if you read this, but I feel the music was good. A lot of people were saying the music in this show is one of the best parts of it, but I feel that it was just good. Not the best I've ever heard, but still really good. There's also some pretty good funny moments too. Something I was really surprised with is the animation. This show was made in 1998 and the look to the show is so amazing. It almost all hand-drawn and it looks so well done. Again, not the best in my opinion, but still great And I would say the final episode or two final episodes are my favourite episodes because they're so well done. Especially the last scene of the last episode where we're not entirely sure what happens. When I say that I mean it looks like Spike is dead but we don't know if he is or not. The last two episodes are kinda sad actually. The rest of the episodes are also great too although, while I definetly enjoyed them, I don't think they were some of the best anime episodes ever because I don't feel a lot happened in them. I could be wrong, it's just my thoughts. Which is kinda what I feel about the whole show. I really like it, but I didn't necessarily love it. I loved parts of it, but the whole show itself I didn't entirely love. It could just be my opinion, but it's just my thoughts. I mean, I know for the time it came out in 1998, it was really impressive and really enjoyable, but I just didn't entirely understand what some people were saying when they said that it was a flawless masterpiece. I understand when they're talking about a lot of the things that I did love and I found really entertaining, but I didn't find the show to be one of my absolute favourites. I'm sorry this isn't very long, but I don't have that many thoughts on this show. I hope that doesn't make it sound like I didn't like the show. I did. I enjoyed it all the way through, but I guess I'm not one of those people who can be absolutely wowed by it. However, I still had an absolute blast with this show from start to finish and I would definetly watch it again if anyone asked. And I would definetly recommend you buy this show on DVD or Blu-Ray if you can and watch it yourself if you haven't yet. Thank you all for reading and that's the last of my anime show reviews. Thank you all for reading these and I had a great time telling you all my thoughts on these, and please comment to tell me what you think of these review or, if you want, tell me what your favourite anime is if you like anime. As I've said a ton of times before, I can't decide which anime is my favourite. It's either Naruto/Naruto Shippuden, Sonic X or Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Thank you all again for reading and, again please comment to tell me what you think.

Bleach Anime Review

Almost near the end of my anime reviews is actually the second real anime I started watching years ago. As I said before, Naruto was what inspired me to watch other anime and this is the first anime I started watching after Naruto. This is another anime I've sorta been watching for a long time and I have a lot of memories with it. Which is kinda ironic me saying that because one of this show's movies is literally called "Memories of Nobody." The show also finished 5 years ago but the manga, written by Tite Kubo, finished last year. Don't ask. Anyway, the basic plot of this show is that it revolves around a teenager named Ichigo Kurosaki who has the ability to see souls of people who have died. He lives with his dad and two sisters. His mother died when he was just a boy and he's not 100% sure how. But then these big creatures named Hollows start appearing around his town and then he meets a girl named Rukia who says that she's a Soul Reaper which defeats Hollows with these swords they have called Zanpakutos and they can also use them to send spirits to the Soul Society where all souls can be at peace. But one night when a Hollow attacks Ichigo's family and Rukia has been injured, she then gives some of her powers to him. Or at least she meant to give some of her powers to him but he ends up taking almost all of it. And so after he defeats the Hollow, she gives him her job as a Soul Reaper and from there, a ton of things happen, and I do mean a ton. The voice cast here for starters is fantastic all around. Ichigo himself is voiced by the amazingly, incredibly talented Johnny Yong Bosch who's actually the most famous English Dub voice actor ever for this role and a lot of others he done like in Code Geass, Trigun, Gurren Lagann and a lot others. And the rest of the cast and characters are great too. Michelle Ruff as Rukia, Stephanie Sheh as Orihime, Wally Wingert as Renji, Steve Staley as Toshiro and all the rest. All of them are really great and when I was first watching this show I found it strange how I recognised some of the voices because I knew some of them had to also be Naruto and I was right Stephanie Sheh also plays Hinata and Steve Staley also plays Neji. And hearing them back then when I was just getting into anime was really amazing to me. The animation in this is also great. Again, not as good as something like Naruto or Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, but still really impressive and great to look at. And what's a great TV show without a great story. The story in Bleach is one of the most engrossing and investing anime stories ever... for the most part, but I'll get to that in a second. But yeah, the story here is really interesting in a lot of parts and these characters are what carry that. Ichigo is my favourite even though everyone says that the best character in the whole show is Rukia, and I also really like Renji too. But yeah, Ichigo himself is my favourite. I even went back to my top 5 anime protagonists and I put him as an honourable mention. I would say my favourite storyline in the show is either the last one or the Zanpakuto Unknown Tales arc which was right before that. They were both really intriguing and I really got into them. And those were kinda more recent episodes to me. Not that they were made recently because, as I said, the show finished a few years ago, but I only finished watching the whole show online a little while back. Both of the storylines there really interested me and had me wanting to watch more. And I liked the final fight between Ichigo and the main villain at the end named Sōsuke Aizen. The action is also incredible on that note. The hand drawn sword fights are so well choreographed and animated and when you watch the show, you really love it. Even though this is not a kid-friendly small fun sword fighting show. This was the first adult anime I ever watched and I do mean adult. There's blood everywhere in this show. This is a really blood show and a lot of curses too. And I also liked the ending to this show too. Ichigo and Orihime get married and have a son and Rukia and Renji have a daughter. I really like those kinda happy endings in anime. Or really anything. Plus, kinda unnessacary thing to talk about, but I feel Orihime and Hinata are similar. Not just because they're both voiced by the same actress, but also because they're shy and they both have a crush on the main character and they both get married to them in the end. The movies to this show as well I really like. I would say my favourite is the second one, Diamond Dust Rebellion. But I like the others too like Memories of Nobody, Fade to Black and Hell Verse. And, I'm not gonna lie, but Fade to Black almost made me cry as a kid. I'm serious. I was still a kid when I saw that one and the ending to the third movie almost made me cry. Now, while I have talked about a lot of the good stuff here, there are some problems with the show. And the biggest problem is the same problem I had with Naruto and Naruto Shippuden and that is the fillers. But here, it's even worse. We get a lot more fillers and to make it worse, there are so many filler arcs. And I wouldn't if they were at least interesting. But a lot of them aren't and they take up so much time that you just want to get back to the main story. They were obviously just made so more cannon content could be made, but they could have at least made it interesting and not so many and so many episodes dedicated to them. I mean, I don't want to say these things about animes I love because I love them and I hate pointing out flaws but I know that all animes are not flawless despite how much I love so many of them. But honestly, despite that kinda big flaw with this show, it's another great anime and I love it and I'm definetly recommending you watch it if you haven't already. Thank you all for reading, please comment down below to tell me what you think and please stay tuned for my last anime series review coming soon, Cowboy Bebop.

Dragon Ball Z Anime Review

Up next on my anime series reviews is one of the most popular ever, Dragon Ball Z. This is another anime I only sorta started watching recently. When I did that entry with my paintings of some of the characters, I was on Season 2 but ever since then, I started watching it online. And eventually I managed to finish a lot of it. So, as I said, Dragon Ball Z is one of the most popular animes ever and definetly one of, if not, the most recognised ever. I started watching this show at around February this year and I was really excited when I started watching it because I'd watched a lot of great reviews for it and a lot of the people from those reviews said that it's one of their favourite animes ever. And while, again, it's one my favourite animes, I do love a lot of it and I'm enjoying a lot of what I'm watching. Right now I'm on Season 8 and I'm starting the Majin Buu saga. People are saying that the Majin Buu saga is where the show sorta starts to go downhill. But once I watch more of it, I'll see for myself. Anyway, moving away from that, Dragon Ball Z was actually started in 1984 when Akira Toriyama wrote and illustraighted the original brilliant manga series which started off as an anime called Dragon Ball in 1986 and Dragon Ball Z started in 1989 and America got it in 1996. And even nowadays it still kinda holds up really well. A friend of mine and I were even talking about it one day and he and I kinda made fun of it because we both said that if you ever want to know what happens in the show, all you have to do is look at a person for a long time and scream as loud as you can and you'll basically get it. It was just a small joke that we both made up because this show has so much of both of those things. Face-offs and almost non-stop screaming. But there's a lot more to it than that. The characters in this are probably the most iconic anime/manga characters ever. There's Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Krillin, Piccolo, Master Roshi, King Kai, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu and even the villains like Frieza, Cell, Raditz and Majin Buu. I've already mentioned that my favourite character is either Goku, Vegeta or Piccolo. And my favourite actor is a toss up between their actors too. Sean Schemmel, Christopher Sabat and Scott McNeil. And almost every character has some interesting past with them too. Especially Goku and Vegeta. As I explained before, Goku was sent to Earth as a baby to eliminate all humans, but lost his memory from hitting his head really hard and then he thought he was always from Earth. And Vegeta was once obedient to Frieza but eventually he finds out that it was actually Frieza who blew up his and Goku's home planet. And they both also have a lot of funny moments and when Vegeta becomes a good guy, the interactions between them a lot of the time are hilarious. Even the characters I don't like very much like Chi-Chi and Bulma because they're kinda annoying, I don't hate them that and they could be way worse. My personal favourite saga in the show so far is the Frieza Saga where we see Goku take on Frieza and we see him turn into a Super Saiyan for the first time. And the fight between the two of them is maybe my favourite fight in the whole show and it goes on for like 4 hours. And I also like how it's Goku vs. my favourite villain in the show, Frieza. And so after he defeats Frieza there were a few more stories to be told and the one after that was the Android Saga where there are these android things with numbers as names like Android 18 and so on and so forth and we got introduced to a new character there named Trunks who's actually the son of Vegeta and Bulma. That honestly really surprised me when I first found out. And after that we got the Cell Saga which was more focused on Gohan, which was nice because I really like Gohan too. And we got to see him go into Super Saiyan 2 for the first time. The whole fight with Gohan and Cell is also amazing too. Another one of my favourite fights in the show. On the subject of action, while I don't think the action here is as good as say, Naruto, the action in here is still really great. And a lot the action in here has freeze framing fights. As in the characters would run towards each other and then when it showed someone hitting another, it would be one picture of it happening moving to one side. And while I thought it was a little distracting at the start, it grew on me and I ended up enjoying it and a lot of this action is good. So as I said, I'm starting to watch Season 8 of this show which is the start of the Majin Buu Saga. And as I said, this is where people are saying that this show starts to go downhill. But I haven't gotten to the point where they say that I'm just around the start where Gohan is meeting his future wife named Videl and we start to see him as the great Saiyaman. That's really as far I've gotten so far and I know I probably shoulda finished the show before I reviewed this but I wanted to get it out as fast as possible. And I'm about to get to the part where Buu is changing into different forms. That's the point there where people have their problems. And so everyone, those are my thoughts on Dragon Ball Z. I'm loving this show so far. Thank you all for reading, please comment down below to tell me what you think and please stay tuned for my next anime review hopefully coming up soon, Bleach.

Death Note Anime Review

Next up on my anime reviews is one of the most recent ones I've started watching and I finished it yesterday, Death Note. This was an anime I had heard a lot of great things about before I started and I was pretty excited when I was starting. And what I'll say is that it's not one of my favourites, but it's still really good and really interesting. And unlike the other animes I've mentioned before, this isn't an action anime. It's a sort of crime drama. And that's an interesting turn to take for an anime in my opinion. Death Note was originally a twelve manga series from 2003 by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata which then became an anime series the same year the manga ended in 2006. And I'll just say that this is definetly one of the most interesting animes I've ever seen. The plot of this is that it follows a guy named Light Yagami who finds a notebook called the Death Note which can be used to kill anyone by writing their name into it. And he also meets a Shinigami named Ryuk. Light then becomes crazy from the notebook and starts writing criminals names and decides that he's going to become a god of the new world. Eventually the police are trying to find out how people are dying and who's killing them. They name their target Kira and they call in the detective named L to find out who Kira is and bring him in. And so, the whole show, or at least the majority of the show, is a battle of nonstop wits between Light and L trying to take the other out. Light is trying to find out L's real name so he can kill him and L is trying to find out who Kira is. And while I didn't necessarily love this show, this whole plot did keep me really interested and intrigued. However, with that, this is also a really dark show. There's tons of deaths in the show and a lot of sadness too. And the characters here are really not admirable. Not because they're bad, but because a lot of them are dark and kinda twisted too. Light is the main character, but he's also the villain of the whole show with trying to kill L and the police which includes his own father. And you could consider him to be really despicable from what he's doing and how he's doing it. And another lot of it is showing Light and how incredibly smart he is with how he can trick everyone into thinking he's a good guy when in actuality he's doing all of these things. He's a very smart villain. I like to consider L to be the main protagonist and I even went back to my top 5 anime protagonists list and put him as an honourable mention. I really like L. He's my favourite character and he's really enjoyable. He's also really smart and the whole battle of wits between him and Light is so interesting and great to watch. L doesn't know that Light is Kira but he sorta suspects he is and so he's constantly trying to do things to prove it but Light finds a way out of it and he also joins up with L to make it look like he's going to help him catch Kira but in actuality, he's just trying to find out his real name to kill him. There's also another character named Misa who also has a Death Note and a Shinigami following her around named Rem who sorta has a crush on her. Misa also has a crush on Light and he decides to sorta use that to his advantage. He sorta acts like he wants to be with her and I guess he might, but unlikely. My guess is that he just wanted to use her and nothing else. I also really liked Ryuk. He was pretty cool. The animation is also amazing. It looks really beautiful and cool and the effects were really cool and beautiful. Also the colours are incredibly used. So yeah, this show sounds absolutely perfect and a fantastic show. What could possibly be wrong with it. Well, while it is fantastic, it's not perfect. It does have some pretty big flaws. It's fantastic until they choose to do something with the story that takes the whole show in a really, really bad direction. And this is it. So Light eventually manages to kill L once and for all and so nothing is left to stand in his way. But, there's the problem. L's death. As I said, the whole battle of wits between Light and L was the best part of this show and so getting rid of that sorta betrays it own tone and plot basics. This is the death scene.
After that, they introduce two new characters named Near and Mellow who aren't that good. Near kinda is, but he's just a rip-off of L and not very good. And that is such a humongous flaw because the best parts of the show came during the time L was still alive and the battle of wits and intelligences between the two of them was very interesting and entertaining. So eliminating that removes the purpose of this whole show. The only good episode afterwards for me is the last episode and everything concludes. This is the ending scene.
And that is cool, but even that has it's flaws because I feel that was something the manga did better. In the manga that scene was different and I would have wanted it done the way the manga did it. But aside from that, this is definetly a very good show. I don't love it and it's not one of my favourites as I said, but it's still pretty good and I highly recommend watching it. Thank you all for reading, please comment down below and please stay tuned for the next anime review coming soon, Dragon Ball Z.

Fairy Tail Anime Review

Next on my anime reviews is one that I started watching late last year, Fairy Tail. Before I started watching this, I had already heard a ton of great things about it from the internet and my brother and so I started watching it on DVD and I ended up loving what I've watched so far. I haven't finished watching all of the anime because, for one thing, the English dub isn't done yet, and also because I don't have all the DVDs that are currently out. But, from what I have, I'm loving it and I can't wait to see the rest because, I've read all the of manga by Hiro Mashima that started back in 2006 and ended a couple of months ago, and so I can't wait to see it all in anime form in English Dub when it finishes. But, the basic plot so far is that it follows a bunch of young wizards. In this world there are these wizards who can do individual magic. The main characters are Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet and Happy the Cat. Natsu uses Fire magic, or as he calls it, Dragon Slayer magic, Gray uses Ice magic, or as he calls it, Ice Make magic, Erza can summon a bunch of armour to wear and weapons to use and Luzy has special keys she uses to summon spirits to help her. The story is following these five and their friends at the Fairy Tail guild doing a bunch of missions to earn money. Kinda like Naruto, but not entirely. And through that, there's always something happening in each mission. And just like every other anime, the characters are what drive this show. All of them are really great and really fleshed out. They all have some past and it's all explored tremendously. And, as I just said, all the characters are great like Lucy, Gray, Erza, Happy, Gajeel, Wendy, Carla, Cana, Juvia, Panther Lily, Elfman, Mirajane, Lisanna, Gildarts and Makarov. All of them are really great and I love them all, but my personal favourite out of all of them is Todd Haberkorn as Natsu. I said this before in my top 5 anime protagonists that he's my favourite character and he still is and he's one of my favourite anime characters ever. He's really funny, cool, caring at points and really friendly. He also has some of the best parts in the whole show. Here's some.
Another thing that's funny about him is that he and all the other Dragon Slayers have motion sickness. So any time we see that, it's just as funny as watching someone call Ed short. Watch.
Speaking of Fullmetal Alchemist, Todd Haberkorn who voices Natsu also voices Ling from FMA as well. Pretty cool, huh? Anyway, as I said, every character is fleshed out so well and they all a troubled past that some even follow them into the present. Natsu and all the other Dragon Slayers are actually from the past who were all sent through time as babies and were raised by actual dragons but one day, the dragons all disappeared and Natsu's been looking for his, named Igneel, ever since then. But what they don't realise is that the dragons are actually inside of them. Kinda spoiler, but the reason for that is that if a person becomes a Dragon Slayer and they use Dragon Slaying magic, if a dragon doesn't go inside them like that, then the person will sorta start to turn into a dragon themselves as a cost for using too much of the magic like what happened in the movie that came out a week ago. Gray was alone when he was a boy until he was taken in by a woman who taught him Ice Make magic until she sacrificed herself to save a town from a giant monster called Deliora. Also, he likes to take his shirt off all the time. Lucy sorta had an abusive father when she grew up until she left him, and Erza was once imprisoned on an island as a little girl with her friends, but as she was about to escape, one of her friends supposedly turned evil and banished her away after he became ruler of the island. And the others all have interesting pasts too and so since they're so well fleshed out, you can watch them do just about anything. My favourite story arc so far in the anime and manga is the other world arc where a lot of things are revealed. It when the guild is transported to another world and everyone has either been separated or trapped inside a lacrima. And there are these mirrored versions of everyone. As in like the complete opposite of everyone n the regular world. That reminds me a lot of the Road to Ninja Naruto movie where the main characters go to another version of their world and everyone's the opposite of what they are in the regular world. And the villain of that arc is that world's version of Makarov. And we also find out where Happy and Carla came from. Carla is another flying cat like Happy. And while, there is some filler episodes, some of them are pretty good and really hilarious. My favourite is the episode where Natsu, Gray, Lucy, Erza, Happy and Loke swap bodies. Anything that has a story like that is always hilarious. Watch.
That's awesome. The animation and action is also fantastic. I don't think it's as good as Naruto's action, but still, really great stuff here. I think the best action scene is probably Natsu vs. Laxus or Natsu vs. Hades. Watch the show or read the manga to know what I'm talking about. And I also really like the ending. In case you don't know who the main villain is, I'm going to say it. It's Natsu's older brother named Zeref. I didn't know that until my brother told me that but then I read the manga and I saw it for myself. So, yeah, this is another great and fun anime that I'm loving and I absolutely can't wait to see the rest of the anime when it's made and I can't wait to see the movie I mentioned earlier. It's up there as one of my favourite anime and I highly recommend that you start watching it if you haven't already. Thank you all for reading, please comment down below to tell me what you think and please stay tuned for my next anime review coming very soon. Death Note.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Anime Review

Up next on my anime series review is the one that's considered to be the greatest manga/anime of all time, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. This is the last anime that I've said countless times could be my favourite of all time. I can't decide. But this is still an amazing anime and maybe one of the best animated shows I've ever seen in my life. So, as I said, Fullmetal Alchemist is beyond popular. It stated by many to be the greatest manga/anime series of all time. In fact, I even let a friend of mine borrow my complete boxset of this show and he says it's now his favourite anime ever. And there's absolutely amazing reasons for that. This show is outstanding. And all of this started back in 2001 when Hiromu Arakawa wrote of one the most outstanding manga, and just stories ever told. I've already talked about this show a ton of times before, but like when I talked about Naruto, for this, I'm going to pretend like I haven't and talk about it fresh. The basic plot is it follows the events of the two Elric brothers, Edward and Alphonse, or Ed and Al for short. And when they were younger, their father left them and their mother died shortly afterwards. They tried to use alchemy to bring her back to life, but it backfired and it costs them a lot. It caused Ed to lose his right arm and his left leg and it caused Al to lose his entire body. So after Ed managed to help Al by putting his soul inside a suit of armour and getting an automail arm and leg, they've vowed to get their bodies back to the way they were. They also become professional alchemist and Ed even gets the title of the Fullmetal Alchemist. Although, Ed is also a shorty and he hates being called little. So whenever anyone does call him that, it's so of the best comedy I've ever seen. Watch this.
There's also a group of people called Homunculi with their "Father" who's planning something big. And I do mean "big." If you've seen the show or read the manga, then you'll probably know what I mean by that. Along the way, Ed and Al met some new friends like Mustang, Hawkeye, Armstrong, Scar, May, Izumi, Paninya, Ling and a lot more. Sure, in 2003, we got the original Fullmetal Alchemist show and, while good and it has it's moments, Brotherhood followed the manga closer and it gave us some horrifying and heart-breaking scenes. There is not one single boring moment in this entire show. And, like I said, there's some really heart-breaking moments here, like when we see Nina die, or when we see how Ed and Al tried human transmutation or even when we saw Maes Hughes dies. This show is also really adult in that way. There's tons of things like that in this show, as well as a lot of blood, cursing, killing and really violent action. For me, these characters are really fantastic and some are some of the best anime characters ever in my opinion. My favourite would either be Ed or Al who are both voiced by the amazingly talented Vic Mignogna and Maxey Whitehead. But the rest are great too like the ones I mentioned and ones I haven't mentioned like Ling, May, Winry, Scar, Darius, Zanpano, Heinkel, Pinako, Mustang. I love all of them. I honestly couldn't pick an absolute favourite part in the whole show because it's all amazing from beginning, middle and end. The villains here are fantastic all around. The Homunculi are awesome villains. As well as Father. They're super threatening and awesome and each one is so memorable. And the whole plot twist where Bradley is revealed to be a villain and a Homunculus himself named Wrath was also pretty good and he was an awesome villain. The animation is also incredible. This is another one of the best looking animes I've ever seen. It all looks beautiful. That also helps a lot with the action. This is also another one of the best action animes ever. I can't decide which is my favourite action scene. It's either Ling/Greed and Fu vs Wrath...
Or Scar vs. Wrath.
Now, about what I said earlier about Father planning something big, this is what I meant. So his plan throughout this entire show is to gather "sacrifices" as he calls them which is basically Ed, Al, Mustang, Izumi and Ed and Al's father, Hohenheim, and use their gateways, along with the souls of every single person in their entire nation to open the planet's gateway which is basically a way from Earth to Heaven and he, and I'm not joking, swallows God. That is insane but still so awesome. The ending to this is also great. Where they stop him and save everyone. That's all so great. And the animation during that scene might be some of, if not the best animation I've ever seen in any anime. The animation in this show is all so great. The animation makes this show feel so incredibly epic. Guys, I don't know what else to say, this is just truly an absolutely amazing anime and one of the best I've ever seen. It's definetly in my top 3 and is easily one of the greatest stories ever told. Definetly watch this anime if you haven't already. And that's my review for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think and look forward to my next anime review coming out soon, Fairy Tail.

Sonic X Anime Review

Next on my anime reviews is another anime that could be my favourite anime ever and the very first one I started watching at a very young age, Sonic X. As I've said before, my favourite anime goes back and forth between this, Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. But this was the very first anime I ever started watching and I didn't even know what anime was when I did start watching it. And this is also maybe the most underrated TV show ever in my opinion. I don't think a ton of people like it from what I've seen. Only a small handful do I think. But I think a lot more people should watch this because I do think it's good. Not perfect, but really good. Especially near the end. I've been a big fan of this show for a long time. This is one of the only anime that I know of that's based off of a video game along with Pokémon. And, like I said before, this show, along with so many others, has a similar formula. A lot of the episodes are actually kinda like some kind of superhero show in the sense that it's about our main hero stopping the main villain. But, this show also includes a lot of other things as well. The basic story here is that Sonic the Hedgehog along with his other friends have been teleported to planet Earth from their planet and Eggman is there too trying to take over this world now. And all through out the show it's them stopping his plans and trying to find the Chaos Emeralds. And every once in a while, there will be some episode that's there for comedy and fun and stuff like that and even some storylines follow some of the games like Sonic Adventure, Sonic Battle and Sonic Adventure 2. I actually like that because it gives something to it and it even fixes some things that weren't that great in those games. And, while on Earth, they befriend a boy named Chris and his family. Eventually everyone on Earth knows about him and after helping so much, Sonic even kinda becomes a bit of a celebrity. And really, just the whole thing about the adventure in this show and the way a lot of it progresses and goes along is really fun in my opinion. And there's a lot of fun in all the seasons too. There's even some really funny episodes. All the characters from the games are the same as they were then and they're great here. I feel that some are even better than they were in the games. Sonic is of course the same cocky, fun-loving, arrogant and action-addict guy he always was and even with some stupidity moments too. I love that about him, the fact that he's so entertaining and fun to watch is great and this is my favourite version of the character. The rest are great too in my opinion, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream, Shadow, Rouge and all the rest and I also really like the new characters too like Chris, Chuck, Cosmo, Ella and all of them. I also love their voice actors. Especially Jason Griffith as Sonic himself. And as I just said, there's a lot of funny moments in it too. Season 1 is think is the funniest, but all these seasons have really funny scenes in them, especially with Eggman and his robots. And speaking of the seasons, season 1 and 2 are great, but in my opinion, the best is season 3. The final season. This season is amazing. It is so complex sometimes and even kinda heart-breaking at times. It's the season that takes place a few months after Sonic and the others return home and Chris comes to see them because it's been a few years on Earth and so when he arrives on Sonic's world, he's turned back into a kid again. But season 3 is the one where they introduce the Metarex and Cosmo. I love this season. It's so much fun and the adventure and almost every episode is amazing. The best part of the whole show in my opinion is the ending when they defeat the Metarex and, really, everything that happens in the last ten episodes, I think are perfect. I haven't even mentioned the amazing animation. The animation here is beautiful. This is, in my opinion, one of the best looking animes of all. It's almost all hand-drawn and it looks so great and so beautiful. The action looks so cool and so clear like what I said in Naruto with how the animation really looks like the characters are really moving and doing cool fighting moves. The music is also brilliant. The music in the show is great and really amazing to listen to, but also the songs are good too like the main theme and the end credit theme. It's a lot of fun and I love to listen to it a lot. But, like I said, is this show perfect? No. There are some episodes that aren't great and a couple of jokes that kinda fall flat. The majority of them work, but not all of them. And some characters can get annoying at points. I don't hate any of the characters, but some are kinda annoying at points. And that's really all I can say to complain about. Just some episodes and one or two annoying character moments. But aside from that, this is maybe my favourite anime ever. I love it. I still don't know what my favourite anime is, but this is in my top 3 favourites this is the most underrated TV show of all time in my opinion. I do think you should watch it. All the episodes are on YouTube and I do think you should watch it. If you don't want to, that's fine, I wouldn't entire blame ya. But if you're interested I would highly recommend watching it. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think and please stay tuned soon for my anime review of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Naruto Shippuden Anime Review

Continuing my anime series reviews is the second series of Naruto, Naruto Shippuden. This is where this show really had strong depth to it. Naruto Unleashed had a lot of that too, but here, it's incredible. It's better than the original in almost every way. The characters are so much more interesting, the action scenes are better animated, the twists and turns in the story are so much more engrossing and intriguing and really everything that was great in the original is better here. In 2007, the original Naruto series ended and this one started afterwards. What really interests me the most about this is, not only the different twists we see along the way of the show, but also just from how much this changed from the original. Naruto and Jiraiya are back after a 2 and a half year absence of training and the old character from the original series are back with new characters as well like Sai, who's joined Team 7 with Sasuke gone, and Yamato, who's sorta helping to keep an eye on them, especially Naruto and Sai. At first, Naruto and Sai aren't getting along, but eventually they of course do. And in terms of how far the story of this show goes, it goes to such high places. It is amazing. It's so much more interesting and complex. There are so many things this show does and almost all of it is so amazing and some of it is even heart-wrenching. I remember years earlier and being so interesting and so torn apart from the different things in the show. And the characters are still mostly the same but a lot of them change into better people. For example, Naruto is still himself, but here, he's more serious and he does take a lot these situations very seriously. Especially towards the end. But the others are just as good too. Sasuke, for example is given a lot more to do in the show. In the original, it was always sorta the same with him in the sense that he would always sorta act like a moody guy who would only do a lot of things to prove himself or make himself stronger to eventually kill Itachi until the time he left. Sure, he would have a funny moment here and there, but it would mostly be a grouchy personality even if he did have a motivation. And with Sasuke being given more to do, around the point where he finds out the truth is where the show becomes something that bigger than you can ever imagine. But the whole show is just as incredible with that too like the story ark with Asuma's death and Shikamaru does more with him trying to get his revenge and grow up more. And the first story ark with Naruto and some of the others going to save Gaara from the Akatsuki. But the part where Sasuke finds out the truth about Itachi and the Leaf is where it becomes really amazing. This show also makes the Nine Tailed Fox a far more likeable character. I love the Nine Tailed Fox. His real name is Kurama and I love him. He's much nicer than you might think later on in the show and they even include good comedy with him at times. I also really like Obito after he becomes a good guy. And with the different characters here, and if you had watched Naruto Unleashed before this, then there's a lot of background and investment in these characters already and you get where they're coming from. Also the Akatsuki are given more to do and we know who they all are. We knew some of them from the original but only two of them. Here, we know them all. And one of the many sad and heart-breaking moments in the show is when Pain, who's the leader of the Akatsuki leader, sorta, kills Jiraiya. That scene might one of the saddest moments in anime history. And you can see how it effects Naruto. He's torn up by it and you feel his pain because you grow to really like Jiraiya. I love Jiraiya and he's one of my 15 favourite characters in the show. And then right afterwards when Naruto is training with Lord Fukasaku in Sage Jutsu and  then the attack of the Leaf by Pain and then Naruto arrives in Sage Mode. That is epic and awesome. Watch this.
Also, I should talk about the summons here. I didn't mention them in the last, but I should have. The summons are animals who can help fight whoever summons them and they can talk too and each ninja can summon one specific one or more like it. I would say my favourite is either Gamabunta or Gamakichi or Pakkun. But, moving away from of all that, let's get to where the show becomes the best in my opinion, the Fourth Great Ninja War. This is basically what everything in the show was building up to. It's everyone vs. Madara and Obito. Almost everyone in the show is here and the action is the best in the entire show. Maybe in anime history. Some say that the Fourth Great Ninja War is where the show goes down hill because of who the villain is. And by that I mean the main villain keeps changing. At first it looks like it's Obito, then it looks like it's Madara, then it looks like it's Black Zetsu, but in the end, the main villain of the entire show is actually a woman named Kaguya.

She's basically the one behind everything. And I personally like how the villain kinda changes because it keeps you guessing. But in my opinion, the best fight of the entire series is the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke at the Final Valley again. After they seal Kaguya away, they go to the Final Valley to have one last battle. However, with all that great stuff, there are still a few problems with the show as much as I hate to admit it. For one thing, there are a few plot holes in the story and there is a lot more filler. But unlike last time when the story arks would take up some episodes, here they take up almost entire seasons. Like, in Season 2, there's a story ark with a kid named Sora. Yeah, there's a character in Naruto with the name Sora. And that story ark takes up a lot of that season. And there's another filler ark in that season that goes through the end of it and onto a little bit of Season 3. And while a couple of things from it can be interesting, for the most part it's kinda boring and you really just want to goes back to the main story from the manga because that's the best part. But, that's really all I can complain about. Let's get to another amazing part which in every anime that I've already mentioned before, the animation. This show's animation has improved much more since the last series. It may look similar, but once you start watching it, you'll notice there is something different about it. And the action is a lot better too. There's more hand to hand action and it looks great. Some of it can even be really brutal like the last Naruto vs. Sasuke fight I mentioned. And there's a lot more blood here too. Anime really like to use blood a lot and it really works. The ending is also really good. The show only finished recently when the last episode was shared on YouTube a few weeks ago. And while, yes, that is filler, I still like it because it shows Naruto and Hinata getting married. And, while some of it isn't great, most of it is. And, kinda moving away from that part, the next few scenes I want to talk about are the scenes where Naruto meets both his parents inside him. Those scenes were rally nice and really heart-warming.
Especially the scene where he meets his mother, Kushina and she explains about what happened the night her and Minato died. That's kinda heart-breaking from what she says and when she says goodbye to him. All that is really good. And, and this kinda off-subject, but I think Shippuden has the better movies as I've said before with my ranking of the 11 current Naruto movies. As I said, Blood Prison is my favourite Naruto movie and I still stand by that. Overall, this is most likely my favourite anime of all time. While it's not perfect, the positives by far outclass the negatives. So yeah, if you haven't yet, start watching this anime because it is incredible. Thank you all for reading and look forward to more anime reviews soon and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

New Defenders trailer

So, here it is. The first real trailer for the Defenders Netflix show. I was so surprised to see this. I was so excited and just from the second you see two of these heroes meeting, I lost my mind. I was so excited and it is so cool. This is still my most anticipated show of the year and I absolutely cannot wait. A lot of the action here is cool and seeing these guys interacting is just as cool as when we saw the Avengers interacting. It's cool and pretty funny. So yeah, here it is and I hope you all enjoy.

Naruto (Anime Review)

This is going to be something new I'm going to be doing for the next few entries. I'm going to be doing full, in-depth, real reviews for a lot of animes I like. I'm going to do one for this, Naruto Shippuden, Bleach, Fairy Tail, Sonic X, Dragon Ball Z, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and even animes I've never talked about before like Death Note, Cowboy Bebop and some others. And we're starting off with maybe my favourite anime of all time, Naruto. So Naruto is very popular. Not just to me, but also around the world. A lot of other people obviously love it from the anime version that started in 2002. But it was actually started in 1999 when Masashi Kishimoto wrote and illustrated an amazing manga series that was transferred over to anime a few years later. And at times, if you watch the show, or you might have already, then you know that this is a truly inspirational anime. Both this and Shippuden together. And there's always some sort of running trope that each episode or so follow. Practically every anime, or just show in general, do that. Where they follow the same routine for almost every episode. And in this case, the routine that Naruto takes is that there's some sort of evil thing threatening the Leaf Village and Naruto is constantly training to become stronger to stop it while also doing missions with his friends and every once in a while, something big happens to make things seem better or worse for his life. And, what really can do something like that? As in, what does a TV show need to pull off to make it amazing like this? The story and the characters. And this anime does both of those thing tremendously. I know I've talked about Naruto itself a lot, but I'm just going to pretend for a this and the next few entries that I've never talked about it and almost kinda start it off new for this. The main character is, of course, Naruto himself. And, like I said, as I've spoken about him before, but am going to pretend I haven't for this, and he, along with every other character in the show, is extremely interesting. The backstory with him is that when he was a baby, the Nine Tailed Fox was sealed inside his body and he never knew his parents. And as he was growing up with the Fox inside him, the entire village hated him every second of his life. That's so sad. Having to live 12 years of your life being hated by everyone around you because of something you don't even know about. And being someone who kinda understands and relates to that a small bit, I do completely understand. And if you're wondering what I mean by that, it's this. As you all know I have Cystic Hygroma and I have a tracheostomy tube in my throat and when I was growing up, some people around my age and younger were mean to me and saying mean things to me and even now, there are still some people who are mean to me like that. And so I relate to that a little and I understand that pain. I know it's completely different to this, but still. Anyway, so after and even before he becomes a real ninja, he dedicates himself to become the Hokage so everyone will finally acknowledge him. And he's voiced by the incredibly amazing Maile Flanagan. She's the best English dub actor for any anime in my opinion. She was the perfect choice to voice this character and I love Naruto himself. He's so stupid and loud but still loveable and admirable. The rest of the characters are also so likeable and interesting. There's Sasuke who has the backstory of backstory of having his family killed by his older brother Itachi. Kakashi, who's friends were killed when he was young. All of them are so interesting and likeable. Shikamaru, Gaara, Kankuro, Neji, Hinata, Kiba, Choji, Tsunade, Shino, Lee, Guy, Jiraiya. I love them all. Even the ones I don't love, every character has something about them I do love. My favourite characters have always been the same. The main ones with Naruto and the villains in this show are so memorable mostly and so cool like Orochimaru or the Akatsuki. Now a lot of the main story of Naruto is in the first half with Season 1-5 or 6. And especially with the various missions Naruto goes on. My personal favourite mission he goes on and my favourite part of the original show is the Sasuke Retrieval Mission where Sasuke leaves and goes to Orochimaru with the Sound Ninja Four. It's almost like this is what the whole show was building up to and it's the first time we get a truly awesome and real fight against Naruto vs Sasuke which is the best fight in the original series with the two of them at the Final Valley. Speaking of the action, I haven't gotten into that amazing part yet. Naruto, and Naruto Shippuden in particular, are the best action animes ever in my humble opinion. There was nothing held back for the action in this show. Naruto's action was all with amazing hand drawn animation. You honestly felt like the character's bodies were really moving and doing real fighting moves. There is not one bit of this show that feels like sloppy or lazy work. It's all so amazing. Especially with the different jutsus. The animation itself is also of course fantastic. It all looks bright and clear and colourful and beautiful to look at. This show is also so funny. I feel like I almost died from laughing at so many scenes in this show. I laugh so hard whenever I see a lot of these scenes. So after the storyline with the Sasuke Retrieval Mission and the characters failed at bringing him back, in the manga, that was the end of part 1. But the creators of the show wanted to keep going so we got so many filler arks from Seasons 6-9, and that's where some things in this show has it's ups and downs. Some of them I do really like, like the return of Mizuki, the delivery ninja episode, the search for the bug, the imitation ninjas and the one right after the retrieval mission where Naruto, Sakura and Jiraiya go to the Sound Village. I like those. But the rest are very unnecessary and you can practically skip them. You can easily tell that the reason they wanted to do those was because they wanted to get to a Season 9. Some of them aren't very good in my opinion like the whole ghost armour knight story, or the painting jutsu lady or the discovering Anko's past or the grandfather/grandson game prank. And while I do really love this show and I thank it for introducing me to all these other animes I love, I have no problem admitting that some of the episodes towards the end are pretty bad and kinda boring. You can honestly skip right to the end and there would be no change whatsoever. And so everyone, those are my thoughts on Naruto Unleashed. It's one of my favourite animes ever made. I can't wait to talk about the rest of the animes I mentioned earlier and I'm so excited and I hope all of you are too. My next one will be my Naruto Shippuden Anime Review. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.
