My top 5 movies of 2018

So, like I do at the end of every year, here I'll be counting down my favourite movies of 2018. Although, this year's gonna be different because, as a lot of you might know, this was probably one of the most disappointing years for film in general because there were a lot that were either bad or underwhelming like Venom, The Predator, the Crimes Of Grindlewald, Solo: A Star Wars Story and so on. But there were also a fair amount of movies that were able to escape that become really great movies and really special in some cases. Some even monumental. Also, I haven't seen all the great movies people have been talking about like Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, Creed 2 or any of those ones. And so, let's get into this and I hope you all like this.
5. Deadpool 2:

Starting us off at number 5 is the hilarious sequel for everyone's favourite Merc With A Mouth. While this movie is far from perfect and I do believe that it has a fair amount of flaws, this movie is just too fun for me to say that it's bad. As well as the fact that it has so many great things in it like a great cast, special effects and hardcore action. It was also great to see so many things getting poked at and Deadpool making so many references to things.
4. Black Panther:

Continuing the list with another comic book movie is the first M.C.U movie on here with Black Panther. I've personally seen this movie as one of the more interesting movies in the M.C.U and one of the most entertaining. It was great to see Black Panther come to life in this movie that was loaded with a great cast and a fun pace. While it does also have its own fair share of problems, I don't notice them that much because I'm too interested and too entertained. It also has my favourite M.C.U villain ever with Killmonger. He's super interesting and you completely understand him no matter what he's doing. He's just that good. But the whole movie is still incredible even with that fact.
3. Mission: Impossible - Fallout:

At number 3 is the sixth instalment to this long running franchise. I was so pleased with everything in this movie. It was so fun and I had a blast watching it. The action was amazing and I loved every single one of them. Especially the bathroom fight. And the fact that this was all practical made it even more cool, even if some of these did hurt the actors in real life. It does also has some problems, some that were even a little bit frustrating, but everything else is a huge step up in terms of action movies. It's just an awesome ride.
2. Avengers: Infinity War:
Coming in close to number 1 is the monumental crossover of all time, Avengers: Infinity War. After 10 years of build-up, all the hype had finally led up to this. We saw that the Russo brothers were perfectly capable of handling. It may have been pretty dark, but there was still so many scenes of so many hilarious lines and it was amazing to see so many of these incredible heroes we've been following for so long interacting. It also had an amazing villain with Thanos who was even better than we thought he was gonna be. Plus, the action was awesome like always and it had an incredibly heart-breaking ending. So much so that I'm so curious to know how they're gonna reverse it in Avengers: Endgame.
Honourable mentions:
Ant-Man And The Wasp,
Mary Poppins Returns,
Ralph Breaks The Internet
And my number 1 favourite movie of 2018 is... Incredibles 2:
And finally at number 1 is the latest Pixar movie after Coco, Incredibles 2. I know this might seem strange to some people, but, I can't help it, this might be the most fun I've had at the cinema all year. The fact that Pixar finally released a sequel to one of their greatest movies ever after fourteen years is great and I loved how serious this film was. It was pretty dark in places for a kids movie but it also had a lot of moments that were hilarious. In my opinion, this is the funniest Pixar movie. Like every other movie this year, this movie isn't perfect. It definetly has some problems and it's not as good as the first Incredibles movie, but I still loved everything else in the movie like the characters, story, visuals and action. And so, everyone, those are my picks for my top 5 movies of 2018. Thank you all so much for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think or tell me your favourite movies of 2018.

Mary Poppins Returns

And so everyone, we're at the last movie I've seen in 2018, Mary Poppins Returns. This is a movie I was sorta curious in seeing, especially with it being a sequel to one of the biggest Disney properties of all time. Plus, it's a Disney movie, of course I was gonna want to see it. I actually sorta had some thoughts on what I thought the movie was gonna be like and as I started looking at some of the early reviews, they were pretty much saying exactly what I was thinking. But I still wanted to see it to see what they could bring to it. And... yeah, this was really underwhelming. It was pretty much doing exactly what I thought it was gonna do. That's not to say this is an awful movie. There are some things I liked and some things that I thought were going in a good direction, but it also has a lot of problems. Also, I'm just going to go with all the spoilers from the beginning. This has been out for a while and it's easier for me to talk about it. Let's go over the story first. What's the story? It's set 20 years after the first movie and now a Lamplighter named Jack, played by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is on the streets of London while Michael Banks, played by Ben Whishaw, has three kids named Annabel, John and George. His wife died a year ago and now Jane, played by Emily Mortimer is trying to help him with paying off a loan that the bank is telling him about, but the bank manager, played by Colin Firth, is actually after the house and is trying to sabotage them so they can't pay off the loan or have it in time for the deadline. And that's my main problem with the movie that I'll get into in a minute. Mary Poppins, played this time by Emily Blunt, notices this and when George begins to fly their old kite from the first movie, she grabs it and comes down from the sky to help them again. And I'm gonna stop there. So, yeah, that may have been the basics of the story, but, there's more to it than that and it's a huge problem. First though, the positives, what's the good stuff? The cast isn't that bad. Emily Blunt is a pretty good replacement. She's obviously not as good as Julie Andrews, but no one can be as good as her in this role. But, if I had to pick a replacement for her years later, yeah, Emily Blunt does a pretty good job. Lin-Manuel Miranda might be my favourite part of the movie as Jack. He's obviously just supposed to be this movie's version of Bert, but I thought he did great and I liked his character. Jane and Michael's characters feel like they've really matured since the first movie and the performances are really good. And the rest range from pretty good to just fine. The effects also, they're fine. They're certainly not ground-breaking like the first movie, but they're fine and there are some creative uses of it. And there's some other nice scenes in here and the directing by Rob Marshall's pretty good. However, with that, there's a lot of this movie has obvious problems. The most obvious is that everything in this is exactly like the first movie. You can watch this movie and point out what they're doing all over again because it's just a rehash of the first movie. They have characters do things that're just like the first and even if it's not exactly like the first, they'll do it in a way that's very familiar. So, there's that part that already makes this movie not great. Another is that this movie has a villain and a climax at the end. That's something I really didn't like. The Mary Poppins series, I feel, doesn't need a villain in this or a climax. The first movie didn't have a villain and that's something that made that exceptional because it didn't need one. Also, there's parts of this movie, especially towards the end, that really don't make sense. Like I said they have a climax with them trying to rewind the clock on Big Ben so they can make it in time and Jack is trying to make it inside but it's dangerous for him, so when he eventually make it inside and turns it back a little and then Mary just flies up and turns the hand on the clock. Why didn't she just do that at the start? That was kinda weird. And there's a ton of other plot holes that don't make sense. There isn't many problems after those ones, but those problems are still pretty big. Overall, I can't say this is a good movie. I can't say it's a bad one either, but it has a lot of things wrong with what they were trying to do. If you're interested, that's fine. It is entertaining, but if you were ever looking for a truly amazing follow-up to one of the biggest Disney properties of all time, you're not really gonna get that here. I didn't hate it, I just didn't see the point of it existing when it was done and it does feel like it's trying to recapture the magic of the first movie, but it does it way too much. But, again, if you're interested, I would recommended. Like I said, it's not a bad movie, it's just really rehashed which makes it really distracting. And so, everyone, that's my review of Mary Poppins Returns. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

Aquaman

And so, everyone, we've finally arrived at the last comic book movie of 2018 and the only DC movie of the year, Aquaman. This is a movie I wasn't looking forward to that much because I've personally never been a fan of the Aquaman character. That's sort of a thing with this hero. For a long time, this hero has just been something people have been making fun of for a long time. And so, this was definitely an interesting movie and it even had a pretty talented director working on it with James Wan, despite some... let's just say some major downs in his career. But, while I didn't necessarily think the trailers were anything amazing, I was going into this with lowered expectations, but still pretty hopeful. And, so, what did I think of it? Personally, it's still another mess like a lot of these DC.E.U movies. It is kinda fun and it has a lot of things fun about it, but I don't know if I can say it's actually good. And, just like always, I'll get into no spoilers first, and then go into all the spoilers after a warning. Let's start with the story first. What's the story? It opens up with a lighthouse keeper named Tom, played by Temuera Morrison, meeting a woman named Atlanna, played by Nicole Kidman, who claims to be the ruler of Atlantis. They fall in love and have a child named Arthur. When some people in armour attack them looking for Atlanna, she agrees that she has to go back to Atlantis promising to come back some day. Years later, she still hasn't come back and Arthur is all grown up, played again by Jason Momoa trying to help the sea and stopping pirates. One of these is led by a guy named David Hyde, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen. Arthur is also just sorta not liking his heritage all that much considering his mom never came back. In Atlantis a person named Orm, played by Patrick Wilson, is hoping to get the Atlantians and other creatures to join to destroy the surface world, and all this is possible because he has the possibility of becoming the king of Atlantis. That night, during a strange storm, it almost kills Arthur and his dad when the waves start going crazy. They're saved by a woman named Mera, played by Amber Herd, who says the only way for this to stop is if Arthur becomes the new king of Atlantis. They also meet a character named Vulko, played by Willem Dafoe, who's trying to help them. And, I'm gonna stop right there. The rest is just Arthur trying to stop Orm from becoming king and destroying the surface, with a kinda adventure aspect in it too. So first, positives, stay positive with it first. The cast is, honestly, kind of a mixed bag. Jason Momoa I do think is good here and he clearly looks like he's having fun. Sometimes he chewed up a bit too much of the scenery, but I say he's good. Amber Herd is pretty good as Mera. I thought she did fine, there just didn't seem much to her to me, though she does seem to have more to her than some of the other characters, so, yeah, I say she's good. Willem Dafoe might actually be my favourite part of the whole movie. The performance is really good and I really liked his character. I think he does great and I really like him. Some of others, we'll get to later. The action in this is insane. There are so many crazy action scenes here and I liked almost all of them. Some did get too C.G.I heavy and did get kinda hard to follow sometimes, but I had a good time with most of them. And I really liked the adventure aspect in this when Arthur and Mera were looking for the trident. That's not really a spoiler considering it was in the trailer. And that was a fun aspect to add, plus, the actual directing in this and the C.G.I and designs here are mostly really good. I think James Wan did a really good job directing the movie. I can definitely say he's very ambitious when it comes to this and it really shows. There is also a few funny moments that land. None of them were knee-slapping, but there were some chuckles. All that being said, there are a lot of problems with this movie, as to be expected. Firstly, the other performances. Patrick Wilson, I think does a good job with his character, but, for me, he goes way too over the top. A lot of the characters in this spend a lot of the time yelling in really over the top ways and this is the main example. Some of this over the top stuff reminded me a lot of over the top anime with characters yelling loud and showing their muscles a lot, which, I guess isn't that much of a problem, just something I found kind of odd and a little amusing. The pacing is also not that good. Especially the start of the movie. It goes by way too fast. Back on the cast, we already knew it was here, but, Black Manta is in this and he's wasted entirely. It reminded me of Venom in Spider-Man 3 in the sense that he's there but he doesn't get a lot of screen time. He's completely wasted. The opening with him I thought was kinda nice. They gave him a reason for wanting to kill Arthur, but, after that, he's totally wasted. He fights Arthur at around the middle, but then he just disappears for the rest of the movie. There's also some C.G.I that looks... not amazing. These DC.E.U movies always have some C.G.I that's very noticeable. The ending also gets too clichéd. For one, the battle isn't that great, but also, the whole movie, especially the ending, is really predictable. I'm not gonna lie, there were no surprises in this movie at all for me. Whenever it tried to have a surprise, I could predict it, even down to just lines. And the entire movie on a whole reminded me a lot of Black Panther. In the sense that the story's similar and it had similar scenes in it that felt like they were exactly the same. So, overall, this is another just okay DC.E.U movie. I can't really say this is a good movie, but it's not bad by any means. There's a lot of bad things in it, but I still found it kinda fun and it did have some directing choices that I thought were kinda cool, but it's another DC movie that's not very special. I guess I would recommend it, but don't go in super excited in my opinion. And so, everyone, that's my review of Aquaman. Thank you all for reading, I hope you all liked this and please comment down below to tell me what you think. Okay, now we're getting into the spoilers.
Spoilers:
So first off, I just want to talk about the adventure aspect I mentioned. That's when Arthur and Mera are off looking for the first king's trident. That aspect I enjoyed quite a bit and thought it added a bit more because the pacing before that was really poor in my opinion. The movie itself is kinda sloppily paced, but I thought it did it better than the first half. The whole thing with Orm was also clichéd where he was just some guy who wanted to be king despite not actually being the rightful heir. He just wanted to be king, and that was another aspect that reminded me of Black Panther, just done in a really clichéd way and less good way whereas Black Panther handled that aspect much better. The other surprises in this, as I said, didn't surprise me at all like the whole scene where we see that Arthur's mother was still alive. I predicted that long before it was revealed. I also kinda liked how this movie felt really self-aware of itself and sorta embraced what it was with being ridiculous and over the top, so, that part was pretty fun. The whole ending climax was kinda cool, but I thought the resolution at the end was kinda random with Atlanna coming and Orm stopping because of it. And finally, let's talk about the end credit scene. I guess I kinda like how Black Manta wasn't just forgotten about, they bring him back for the end-credit scene and he's probably gonna return. Hopefully they can give him more of a role in the future movies because his appearance here was really small. That opening with him and his dad in that submarine I thought was kinda touching and even kinda sad. Obviously, they're bad guys, but I kinda felt something for them, but yeah, he was pretty wasted like I said. And I think that's about it for spoilers. And so, everyone, that's the spoilers for Aquaman. Thank you all for reading, I hope you all liked this and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

Kingdom Hearts 3: Final Battle trailer

AND SO, EVERYONE, WE FINALLY GOT THE LAST TRAILER FOR KINGDOM HEARTS 3 COMING OUT IN A LITTLE BIT OVER A MONTH. AND, LET ME JUST SAY, NOT ONLY DOES THIS TRAILER LOOK AMAZING, WHICH IT DOES, BUT, MY GOD, DOES THIS GAME LOOK LIKE IT'S INTENSE AND DARK. THIS IS EASILY GONNA BE THE DARKEST KINGDOM HEARTS GAME AND THIS TRAILER JUST SOLIDIFIED THAT BY MAKING IT LOOK LIKE EVERYONE IS JUST GONNA DIE. THAT MIGHT SOUND CRAZY, BUT THERE'S SO MANY CLIPS OF CHARACTERS JUST BE DESTROYED AND ATTACKED AND SCREAMING IS SORROW. I AM SO CURIOUS TO KNOW WHY AND IT SHOWS THAT YOU EVEN GET TO PLAY AS RIKU AGAIN. I THINK WE MIGHT ALSO BE PLAYING AS KAIRI, WHICH THEY DON'T SHOW, IT'S JUST SOMETHING I'D REALLY LOVE TO SEE AND WOULD BE SO COOL. AND SO, HERE IT IS AND I HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT.

Kingdom Hearts 3 opening

Given how there's only a month for Kingdom Hearts 3 left, it's about time we got more content from the game itself. I heard that we're getting another trailer in a few days, which is really exciting, and, here, we got the opening theme for the game like the other Kingdom Hearts games. And they've even made a new song for it. It sounds pretty cool, but I think I like the ones from Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 a bit more. The visuals are, of course, incredible and are showing parts of the last games again, and they look great with them even show a bit of what's to come and they're showing more of Eraqus and Xehanort as kids. Overall, yeah, I love this opening and the 29th of January could not be coming here sooner. And so, here it is and I hope you all like it.

Avengers: Endgame Trailer

And so, everyone, I was looking forward to this all week and it finally arrived today, the trailer and name for the fourth Avengers movie, Avengers: Endgame. Endgame was actually a line Doctor Strange said at the end of Infinity War so I guess that's where they got the idea. Anyway, based on this trailer, it looks really cool and it shows how dark and depressing everything is after the events of Infinity War with half of all living things just being killed. We even see Hawkeye back but now he's gonna be Ronin, which is pretty cool. We also get a small glimpse of Thanos on that farm thing he went to in the very last scene of Infinity War. I'm curious to know how this is gonna play out. Some people think this movie is going to introduce time travel, which could be cool and could be a cool way of showing how Scott got out of the Quantum Realm because we see him here. But this movie does look like it's gonna be a dark film, which is interesting considering Infinity War was pretty dark and so having another one where we see everyone being sad and some of them possibly dying could be really heart-breaking. Chris Evans recently said this is his last movie as Cap, so I'm really curious to know what they're gonna do with him here, as well as all of these characters. Anyway, here it is and I hope you all like it.

My tribute to Stephen Hillenburg

So, I'm kinda late to the party on this one, but I figured it's best to be late than never. So, as I'm sure some of you, or maybe most of you are aware, Stephen Hillenburg, A.K.A, the creator of SpongeBob Squarepants, has also tragically passed away recently due to A.L.S at the age of 57. I recently did another tribute like this with Stan Lee, so I decided to do one for the person who created my favourite childhood TV show. At the time SpongeBob debuted back in 1999, this show's writing and comedy was unlike any other show out there. You could say the Simpsons was sorta like that, but the difference was that SpongeBob was more aided at children where as the Simpsons was, yes, children could enjoy it too, but it was mostly aimed for older people like 12 year olds and above. Whereas SpongeBob could appeal to everyone and so much of it's popularity was from Stephen's imagination and great comedy ideas for the show. And he was able to use his talent of being a marine biologist to create a lot of his characters too. And he influenced a lot of his co-workers at Nickelodeon too like Butch Hartman, A.K.A, the creator of Fairly OddParents, who's also done a great tribute to him too.
And the show of SpongeBob is very nostalgic to me. I loved it as a kid and I still really enjoy it now and it still has one of my favourite characters of all time with SpongeBob himself. Stephen was the guy who made everyone around the world who was a TV show creator want to be able to make a show that could reach the same heights he did with SpongeBob and the characters in it. And, like I said, a lot of that comes from the amazing writing he came up with. The comedy in the show could range from child friendly to something that only adults would understand. In fact, quite a few times, some things in this was meant for adults like the whole Sailor Mouth episode. And even Nickelodeon has put out their own word about Stephen to the world and his family. Personally, and I know this is something everyone wants, but I think the best way to honour him is if SpongeBob just ended with some of the original writers back. And if they can make it good and make just as entertaining as just like in the original run of the show, I think that would be a great send-off and a great way to honour an amazing cartoon creator. And it really does kill me inside with the fact that Stephen's really gone and he will be missed. R.I.P.

Second Captain Marvel trailer

So, yesterday, we actually got the second trailer for Captain Marvel. To be honest, this trailer is definetly cool, but, personally, it kinda feels a little like every other superhero movie out there. It look cool and I'm excited to see it, but, personally, it's not looking that unique to me. Still though, given the M.C.U's track record, I have faith that this'll be fun. We get some cool action scene shots, Brie Larson still looks like a great choice as the character and we get awesome shots for the suit. I'm also curious to know how they're going to do the Skrulls here. We even get more of Nick here and the de-aging on him is still incredible and the thing I'm most looking forward to with this movie is the interactions between the two of them and them hanging out more and Nick finding out more about her. There's actually some scene of this that reminded me of Dragon Ball Z with some of this looking like Goku going Super Saiyan. Anyway, here it is and I hope you all like it.

Ralph Breaks The Internet

And now we've arrived at my most anticipated movie for the rest of the year, Ralph Breaks The Internet. After Avengers: Infinity War and Incredibles 2, this was my most anticipated movie for the whole year. This was also a special film for Disney considering they haven't made a Disney Classic that was a sequel since Fantasia 2000. Having it be a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph, I personally think is an interesting idea, but I really love the first movie a lot and so I was interested in what they would do for the sequel. And, what did I end up thinking of it? I thought it was pretty good. It's not perfect and it's far from the first movie and it does have some noticeable flaws, but I still had good, fun time with it. Plus, there are some moments in this that might be some of the most fun scenes I've seen in a Disney movie in a long time. And, yes, the first part of this will be spoiler free and then I'll get into all the spoilers. So, what's the story? Ralph and Vanellope are still friends and are always hanging out around the arcade games, but, when Vanellope begins to get bored with her game and feels like everything is seeming predictable, Ralph makes her a new track that Vanellope uses that causes the players have no control over which causes the game's steering wheel to break. And after Litwack gets Wi-Fi in the arcade, Ralph and Vanellope go to it to get a new one from eBay. Now they need money to buy it otherwise Vanellope's game, Sugar Rush, will get taken away. While there, they even go into another racing game called Slaughter Race where they meet a character called Shank. And all of this begins to make Vanellope have some second thoughts about going home. And I'm gonna stop right there. So, first off, I just want to get the negatives out of the way, probably the main one for me is that, for starters the story can feel kinda formulaic at times. Not only that but at times it feels like they're sorta hammering the message of the movie into your head too much. And I feel like the characters sorta go through the same arc they went through last time. Plus, I don't know what anyone else thought of this, but at times, it sorta felt like some of the interactions got kinda weird and creepy for me. The pacing also isn't perfect and at points, it kinda felt like the story was rehashing a little bit of the first films. Also, I love Ralph as a character. I really do. But, at points, I sorta felt like he did some things in this that made him a bit unlikeable. Not all the time, but at points he did some things that seemed really unlikeable and out of character in a way. The movie also has plot holes that don't really make sense. I know a lot of movies have plot holes, but some here were very, very noticeable. But, that's honestly about where it ends for me in regards to negatives. The rest of the film however does a great job of delivering what it promises, mostly. The other moments were very fun, funny and it has the same characters from the last movie being the way they were before almost all the time. It was just fantastic and fantastically animated. Disney of course once again shows us just what they can do with animation with so much attention to detail with everything they show in the internet. And a lot of the things they do with the internet are very creative like the different apps on phones or websites or how whenever a human is on a computer and something happens. They've practically thought of everything they could imagine and makes it extremely pleasing to look at. It's practically mind-blowing, but that's just the level that Disney is able to reach with so many of their animated films. And the rest of the story is fun too, the whole message, while it can get a bit too hammered in, is still mostly well executed. And they know exactly how to present this world and characters back to us after 6 years, even if some of them do kinda go to waste like Felix and Calhoun. And, like I said there are some moments here that are some of the best Disney moments of all time. And a lot of that has to go to all the actual Disney moments they were promoting a lot. Ya know, when they were showing how Ralph and Vanellope go to this Disney website and interact with a bunch of Disney characters and things like that. That whole segment is easily one of my favourite Disney moments of all time. Seeing all these characters together made me geek out so much as a Disney fanboy. Unfortunately there wasn't anything Kingdom Hearts related, which is a little disappointing for me personally, but I can forgive it. There also isn't much of that Disney thing either, but I can forgive that too because ya don't want to spend too much time so you forget the story. And the ending does have a pretty cool end climax, even if there is a resolution that didn't entirely work for me. And really, just following these characters go through their struggles is the main part of the movie and you do get wrapped up in it. Probably the biggest change for them is Vanellope wondering if she wants to go home or be a part of Slaughter Race. And you do end up really caring. The movie is also pretty funny, mainly from the Disney segment with so many Easter Eggs and much more like cameos from Disney characters and even real people at Disney. The ending does also have some funny moments too at the end of the climax. I did also think the exploration of this whole world like I said. The new characters here are also cool, Shank for example. She's not in the movie too much, but she's still too and I loved her interactions with Vanellope. And then there were characters KnowsMore and some others who were really funny in this. So, overall, this is a good sequel, I guess it might be great, but I just thought it was really good. I didn't love the movie, but there were some scenes in this that were absolutely amazing things that I adored. I wouldn't say this is as good as the first Wreck-It Ralph and it's nowhere as good as some of the Disney Classics that have come out in the past few years, but I still really enjoyed myself and I think most others will too. I would definetly recommend this. And so, everyone, that's my review for Ralph Breaks The Internet. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.
Spoilers:
So, there's not a lot of things to really spoil here, but I'll get them out of the way. Probably the biggest was the fact that this movie doesn't have a proper antagonist. You could say that huge Ralph monster is, but you could almost say that that's actually a personification of Ralph's insecurity, which they do acknowledge in the movie, so you could count that. And those cameos rom the Disney place were amazing with so many characters like Nick Wilde, Tinker Bell, Stormtroopers, Iron Man and so on. That Baby Groot answering thing made me laugh really hard, and that Stan Lee cameo was amazing. Plus, I like how it wasn't just a side-lined thing because it did serve a purposed to the story with the princesses coming in during the climax to save Ralph. The whole movie itself was like Disney sorta making fun of themselves because they make fun of so many of their clichés, especially the whole scene where Vanellope was singing about what she really wanted. Those moments that I was saying were kinda creepy were some Ralph and Vanellope moments. I'm sure it's just me, but they came off as kinda weird to me. And then the ending with Vanellope deciding to be in Slaughter Race instead of going home, that actually was kinda sweet and a good development for her character. And then the end credits were pretty hilarious... kinda. The first one was really funny with Disney acknowledging the fact that sometimes scenes from trailers sometime don't make it into the movie and then that kid getting scared. And I think that's really it for spoilers. And so, thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindlewald

And so, everyone, we've finally to my late review of the latest Harry Potter movie, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindlewald. The reason it's so late is because I've been really busy lately with my own life and I've just had too much going on. That's why I've been behind on blogging lately. But, I finally saw this movie last week. I've reviewed every single Harry Potter movie before in the past and I've always mentioned how I'm a ginormous fan. I've liked every single movie before this and I thought the first Fantastic Beasts movie was really good and really enjoyable with a likeable cast and it was a good, fun time. So I was very excited, while also being a little cautious about this one because I had heard some... less than amazing things about this before going in. And so, what did I end up thinking of it? Honestly, I never thought I'd ever say this, but this is, in my opinion, the first bad Harry Potter movie for me. I never would have thought I'd ever say that, but this was such a disappointment to me. As much of a fan I am of J.K Rowling, this is the least of all her work in terms of writing in the Harry Potter universe. So, first off, what's the story? Grindlewald, played by Johnny Depp, has escaped prison and now Newt has been informed who's also having some problems of his own like not hearing from Tina anymore or having some problems with his brother. It's also shown that Credence is still alive, even after what happened at the end of the first movie, and is now trying to discover who he really is. So, really, does this movie have anything good in it? Yeah, there are some things like David Yate's directing. He still shows that he understands this world and knows how to direct it properly. It's definetly a good looking movie with cool visuals and the creatures are unique again, even if some of the tricks some wizards do don't seem unique and feel kinda clichéd. And the cast shows that they're really trying with this material. Easily the best part about this movie are Eddie Redmaine as Newt again who still makes him extremely likeable, and the other is Jude Law as the young Dumbledore. This is a great choice for Dumbledore. He does an amazing job with making him very likeable and you feel like this is Dumbledore as you remember him. He's easily the best part of this movie. However, while that's all great, a lot of this movie is, unfortunately, really boring. The film itself is so complicated and so hard to follow that it lost my interest by about the halfway point. It has way too many characters in it and way too many subplots in it and it tries to cram so much into its story that a lot of things feel like hey just don't make sense. Also, while Jude Law is definetly the best part of the movie, he's not in it that much. I wish we could have seen more of him. Johnny Depp does do a great job as Grindlewald, but the character himself is just very forgettable. There wasn't much about him. Unlike Voldemort, who I thought was an awesome and amazing villain, this one just doesn't do much and there's not really anything unique about his character. Speaking of characters, a lot of them are either very forgettable, feel like they have no place in this movie or just don't do much or feel like where they are is just way too complicated to understand. There are some characters who, I guess, may serve a purpose to the plot, but, because I couldn't follow or understand it, I didn't feel like they were necessary. A lot of the characters also feel like they're really annoying here and some do some really dumb things. Like, I really liked Queeny in the first movie, but, here, she does some really annoying things and makes so many bad decisions that she kinda becomes unlikeable. The movie kinda wants to make a love triangle between Newt, Tina and this other woman who Tina think is engaged with Newt due to some misunderstanding. That alone takes up way too much time and it, of course, gets resolved, and not very cleverly. This movie is also one of those prequels where the plot is beginning to mess with the continuity of the Harry Potter history. And I say that meaning that now they've added things to the plot that makes no sense when you see the previous Harry Potter movies. That's one of those things that can be bad about prequels. Where you begin to mess so much with the plot and continuity that some things don't make sense and can sometimes take things away from the other movies a small bit. That's just to show how sloppy this film's writing is. And, really, like I said, there's this whole plot with Credence, Newt and Tina, along with some other people, talking to this woman who says she knows how Credence came to be, but, I couldn't follow it so it just came across as confusing and weird to me. I didn't get it at all. Even the story she was saying was kinda confusing. It just made so many of these plots, given the fact that there were too many going at once, so hard to keep track of. A lot of the humour doesn't work either. There are some funny moments, but there's also some kinda cringeworthy moments of humour. I also didn't think the end climax was a good payoff. The film thinks it's super epic, which Harry Potter has been before, but, for this film, it thinks it's paying off all the build and it's not really as good as it thinks it is. I also didn't like the way it tied everything together at the very end with this whole Credence and Grindlewald thing. Also, throughout the whole thing, I couldn't escape the feeling that this was just a setup movie. I felt that throughout the whole runtime. Overall, I can't believe I'm saying this, but this is the first bad Harry Potter movie, which is something I prayed I'd never have to say. But this was a really not well written movie that I can't say is a good one. It's got some good things in it, but it's also got a lot of bad things. Some people say there's going to be at least five more sequels after this, and, really, all I can say is that I hope they're an improvement over this. For this one alone, if you're interested, I guess you can see it, but don't expect it to be an amazing experience and don't have your expectations too high. I imagine some Harry Potter fans will really like it, like a friend of mine said she really liked it, but I didn't and the vast majority of people didn't either. And so, that's my review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindlewald. Thank you all so much for reading, please comment down below to tell me what you think and please share this or show it to your friends if you like.

My top 15 Stan Lee creations

So seeing as one of my last entries was a tribute to Stan Lee, I thought I'd do the next best thing and count down my fifteen favourite creations he's done, mainly, just a lot of his characters and teams. I'm sure a lot of you have your favourites and this will be my opinion as always. I've been a huge fan of Stan Lee for a long time and he had created so many of my favourite superheroes and villains of all time. And so, in memory of the great Stan Lee, I'm counting my top 15 of favourite creations of his. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
15. Doctor Strange:

Starting us off at number 15 is master of the Mystic Arts. One of the many characters who got their powers due to some accident, Doctor Strange's life certainly has been strange. After suffering a car accident and not being able to use his hands anymore, he thought his life of worship would be over until he travelled to a monastery where he began to learn about magic and other dimensions. This caused his personality to change from an arrogant doctor into a powerful and humble hero.
14. Doctor Octopus:

Now moving onto the villains of Marvel is one of Spider-Man's earlier villains and one of his most famous. After Doctor Otto Octavius, a brilliant scientist, tried to fuse four mechanical arms to his body, they bonded to his skeleton and warped his brain. Since then, he's committed numerous criminal actions with Spider-Man always thwarting them. Not only that, he's also the main person responsible for starting the Sinister Six and doing everything he can to torment Spider-Man and end him.
13. Galactus:

This huge, purple armour wearing alien is one of the biggest threats the Marvel universe has ever faced. Being a being only intent with devouring planets, he always has his sites set on Earth, but the heroes, and even sometimes villains, must work together to stop him. He's mainly seen as a Fantastic Four villain, but he's been stretched to other heroes who have used all their might to stop him in whatever way they can.
12. Kingpin:

Also known as Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin is arguably the biggest crime lord in the Marvel universe. Causing so many crimes in New York, he's been tormenting so may heroes, especially Daredevil and Spider-Man, so much that he's practically become a staple holding Marvel together. Especially sense a lot of stories he's in might be some of the most interesting and entertaining. Plus, not only that, but he's also a great physical match for so many heroes even if he may look obese. He has the advantage of both brain and brawn on his side which can be troublesome for so many of his opponents.
11. The Fantastic Four:
At number 11 is Marvel's first family and the team that saved Marvel back in the early 60's, the Fantastic Four. When Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, Sue and Johnny Storm all go into space and get hit by a cloud radiation, they gained different powers and formed together as the Fantastic Four. While the team may have a bad track when it comes to feature films, their run in the comics have been incredibly popular over the years and have paved the way for some of the greatest Marvel stories ever made. The actual members of the group are all unique and pretty interesting.
10. Black Panther:
At number 10 is the king of Wakanda and the first black superhero ever created. When he first appeared in a Fantastic Four comic, he became an instant fan favourite. Afterwards, when T'Challa got his own series in Marvel, we got to explore more about him and the fascinating history of Wakanda. Not only is T'Challa one of the more interesting superheroes around, but he's also one of the most, if not the most intelligent superhero ever made, maybe even more than Batman, Mr. Fantastic and Iron Man. Plus, the world around the Black Panther, not just Wakanda, but also the world whenever T'Challa enters in it is just as fascinating.
9. The X-Men:
My personal favourite Marvel team that actually started off as a team from the beginning is the X-Men. A group of gifted mutants who wish to change humanity's idea about their kind. With so many different characters in the group, the X-Men were the first characters who could be people who didn't have some accident happen to them, they could just be characters who were born with these powers and now have to face the problem of prejudice in the world with so many people being against them. And the actual main members such as Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Jean Grey, Nightcrawlers, Beast, Colossus, Havoc, Professor X and so on have all becoming staples in Marvel as some of their best characters.
8. Doctor Doom:

Being the primary villain for the Fantastic Four and Stan Lee's personal favourite Marvel villain, Doctor Victor Von Doom is one powerful foe. While he hasn't has a good on screen portrayal so far, his run in the comics and shows have cemented Doom as a staple in the Marvel line-up as one of their best baddies. Being one of, if not the smartest Marvel villain ever, Dr. Doom is a master when it comes to technology and magic with being able to combine both to make him a force to be reckoned with. Not only does he rule the fictional country Latveria, but he's also an extremely arrogant scientist who'll do whatever it takes to take over the world and destroy the Fantastic Four.
7. The Green Goblin:

The ultimate Spider-Man baddie is at number 7, the Green Goblin. After a horrible experiment caused Norman Osborn to become insane and super strong, he set his sights on trying to ruin Spidey's life and kill him. Basically being Marvel's version of the Joker, the Green Goblin created the most shocking moments in comic book history when he caused the death of Peter Parker's first girlfriend, Gwen Stacy. Being a genius with numerous weapons such as a glider, Pumpkin Bombs, lasers and so many others, the Green Goblin never ceases to be entertaining.
6. Magneto:

Probably the best actual villain that Stan had ever done was Magneto, the master of magnetism. A holocaust survivor who's seen what it's like to experience fear and prejudice first hand. Being the main and most famous villain Marvel has maybe ever had, Magneto serves as the primary antagonist to the X-Men, who wish for human and mutant co-existence, while Magneto is less than on board about that idea. Believing mutants should be the only surviving creatures on the planet, Magneto will stop at nothing to have that happen.
5. Daredevil:

One of the more unique superheroes to appear at the time was this blind one, Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil. After a chemical causes him to lose his sight, Matt's other senses magnified and was able to train to become an amazing fighter and gymnast. After becoming a lawyer he began to fight crime on the streets of New York. Stan Lee himself has said that he had some reservations about introducing the character at first so tat he didn't offend the blind community. But, thankfully, because the character was so well written and so well presented, it gave us a more interested superhero and also one where it was more grounded for the hero of Daredevil with having more personal troubles and the crimes more realistic.
4. Hulk:

Now we move onto some of the most famous superheroes of all time, and the first one of these is the big, green, smashing monster known as the Hulk. After Dr. Bruce Banner was exposed to gamma radiation, his body and mind then began sharing itself with that of this huge being. And when he gets mad, you better run for the hills, 'cause if you're anywhere near this huge muscledbeast, you're most likely gonna get smashed. But, it's not just the smashing, Hulk is also a good guy who's been hunted by the government for years and does want to do the right thing a lot, especially when joining with the Avengers.
3. Thor:

At number 3 is the prince of Asgard and the most famous Norse God superhero ever created, Thor. Originally an arrogant god, he eventually learned humility when he was banished from his home world and sent to Earth. Now he's a humble hero who's part of the Avengers and defends the planet from many dangers including his half brother, Loki.
2. Iron Man:

Coming in close to number 1 is the billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, Tony Stark, A.K.A, Iron Man. In recent years, this armoured Avenger has gradually been becoming of the most famous superheroes ever created. Being an ordinary inventor when he first debuted, Tony Stark's life changed forever when a terrorist group kidnapped him and forced him to make weapons for them. After making an armoured suit and escaping, Tony had a change of heart and vowed to protect the world in a new armoured suit as Iron Man. Another one of the key members of the Avengers, Tony may still be a fast talking, joke making and cocky genius, but that doesn't stop him from wanting to do the right thing.
And my number 1 favourite Stan Lee creation is... Spider-Man:
And finally at number 1 is Marvel's most popular hero and Stan Lee's personal favourite creation, the web swinger himself, Spider-Man. Being Marvel most popular character, and the third most popular superhero of all time, this teenaged web head has been my favourite superhero for years. After a radioactive spider bit Peter Parker and gave him the powers of a spider, he began to win money for him, but this all caused the death of his uncle Ben. He the truly understood Ben's words when he told him "With great power comes great responsibility." Ever since then, he's been swinging around New York stopping crime and supervillains. While also being a normal kid in real life and having problems that a kid his age would have, which makes him the most relatable superhero I've ever seen. He's also an extremely quippy hero too with wanting to make them whenever he's in a fight, which is something I've always wanted to stride towards whenever I've written one of my stories. He's been a huge inspiration to me and I've always looked up to Spidey. Another thing that makes him such a great character, that, again, I've always admired and wanted to do too, is his determination and never wanting to give up. Stan Lee himself has said that one of the reasons why Spider-Man wears a mask is because he wants to hide his fears from his enemies, which is another thing we can all relate to in a way. And so, everyone, those are my picks for my top 15 favourite Stan Lee creations. Thank you all for reading, please comment to tell me what you think, please share this on your Google plus if you like and please comment to tell me your favourite Stan Lee creation.

Kingdom Hearts 3: Together Trailer

SO SEEING AS THERE'S ONLY 69 DAYS LEFT UNTIL KINGDOM HEARTS 3 COMES OUT, THERE'S MOST LIKELY GONNA BE MORE MARKETING FOR IT COMING OUT. AND THIS IS ONE OF THEM. THIS IS, IN MY OPINION, EXACTLY HOW YOU SHOULD MAKE A TRAILER. A GOOD VOICEOVER, COOL AND NEW FOOTAGE SHOWN AND FUNNY MOMENTS, WHICH THIS DEFINITELY HAS, PLUS, IT KINDA ANSWERS A QUESTION I WAS SORTA THINKING ABOUT FOR A WHILE WITH HOW DO SORA, DONALD AND GOOFY MEET UP WITH JACK AGAIN AT DAVY JONES' LOCKER CONSIDERING THEY WEREN'T WITH THE CREW IN ONE OF THE LAST TRAILERS? AND WITH THE RELEASE DATE GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER, LIKE I ALWAYS SAY, I JUST COULDN'T BE ANY MORE EXCITED FOR THIS TO COME OUT. SQUARE ENIX HAVE CONFIRMED WITH THIS THAT THEY'VE FINISHED DEVELOPMENT WITH THIS, SO NOW, ALL THAT'S LEFT IS FOR THE GAME TO COME OUT. AND SO, HERE IT IS AND I HOPE YOU LIKE IT.

My tribute to Stan Lee

So this is something I've never really done before, but it's something thought would be a good idea to make. As I'm sure you're all aware of by now, the legend himself, Stan Lee has passed away at the age of 95 and so many people have been making videos and tributes about already in the past 12 hours. And so I decided that I would do my own. Given how Stan Lee is practically the most iconic and famous person in comic book history, and one of my person real-life heroes, this is extremely heart-breaking. Stan is the person who created so many amazing heroes and villains and some of the famous of all time. The man himself was also a very kind person who knew how to use his imagination. And, really, he's been a main inspiration for so many people, including me. We've all imagined so many heroes and associating them to be like the ones from Marvel and like the ones that Stan created. I may not have ever thought of Daniel Danger. And Stan had a great personality with this fun charisma to him. I've seen so many interviews with him and he's accomplished some really amazing feasts in his life. To me, he's also a true Disney legend as well. He's been counted as being a part of Disney for a long time and I couldn't agree more. Given how Disney has been talking about him lately, it's hard not to understand. But his characters were all also so creative and interesting and different. He did so many of them at Marvel. Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Daredevil, Black Panther, Groot, Ant-Man, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and so many icon villains too like the Green Goblin, Magneto, Doctor Doom, Kingpin and so many more. He's done all this and he's a guy who reminds me a lot of Walt Disney in a way, in the sense that he's a man who made so many characters, and he's also someone who sorta made a bet with the company back when it was shutting down. I watched something last year that said Marvel was gonna shut down back in the day, but then he created so many characters, that they decided to keep it open with the Fantastic Four, the Hulk, Spider-Man and so on, and that's a lot like Walt Disney in a way. Plus, even if you weren't a comic book fan, everyone knew who Stan was, and you'd even know who he was whenever you went to see a Marvel movie due to his cameos in the movies. I made a list of my favourites last year and he was in so many of them. Not only that, but so many Marvel actors and workers, Disney, Marvel workers and even DC have all contributed to his death. So many actor have already gave their thoughts and said their goodbyes. Chris Evans has even led a tribute for him and a lot of Marvel actors have spoken about him on Twitter like Robert Downey Jr, Tom Holland, Chris Evans, Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds. You should check them out, they've said a lot of great things about him and I don't blame them. Stan himself has left a great legacy that I know will go on for so many years. I know for a fact that will never be another person like him and I thank him for creating some of my favourite characters of all time.
And so, I say, rest in peace Stan Lee and thank you for all the great things you've done. "EXCELSIOR."

My top 5 anime I want to see get rebooted

There's a lot of really awesome anime series out there and, personally, while a lot are great, sometimes they have a fair amount of problems in them that can cause some distractions in a way. And so, with that, I want to see some of them getting a reboot to fix those problems. Plus, some of them could even improve on the original by doing things like better animation, fight scenes and all that. Which is not to say that original didn't I'm just saying they could do them better. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
5. Fullmetal Alchemist:
I know this might be kinda weird considering how much I'm always praising Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and, yeah, I highly doubt anything can ever beat that, but I think seeing one last definitive version would be interesting to see. Mainly because another version could adapt the entire manga. Brotherhood, while it definetly did an amazing job adapting the manga really well, it didn't adapt everything in the manga, and even people didn't really like the first episode of Brotherhood, nor did they really thing watching the first few episodes of Brotherhood was really necessary considering the first Fullmetal Alchemist series did that already. They even had to cut the some of manga parts too at the start with the whole Yusewell part. But, personally, seeing the entire manga done into anime form 100% would be great to see. I don't know how it would stack up against Brotherhood, but still.
4. Hunter X Hunter:
I honestly haven't watched Hunter X Hunter yet, but I really want to, and I really want to see a rebooted version of it. Apparently the manga is always on hesitates, which is kinda disappointing, but a lot of people say that that's because the artist himself has a lot of priorities in his life, so, maybe taking a while the manga to keep going, they could make a rebooted version and maybe have it be released in DVD form. There's a lot of anime that I want to watch that haven't been released on DVD where I live and people think it's to do with licencing or something like that. So that's one of the ones I want to see get made into DVDs. And for the anime itself, having another series of this would be great, especially given how it apparently has one of the greatest anime arcs of all time with the Chimera Ant Arc.
3. Bleach:
Now that the Bleach manga has been finished recently, I think seeing another adaptation of Tite Kubo's story would be amazing. The first series had to be cut short because the series was dropping in ratings and that's mainly to do with a lot of the pacing issues it had. Not just the anime, but the manga did too. So, having a new series of it would give the opportunity to have no long filler arcs, which is something the original show had, and also have the story be completed in anime form.
2. Yu-Gi-Oh!:
Coming in close to number 1 is a really interesting one in my opinion. This one is a lot like Fullmetal Alchemist in a way. As in, they may have already made an anime version of this already, but when this was being made for Americans, they actually didn't adapt the first 7 volumes of the manga because they were too dark considering Yu-Gi-Oh was purchased by 4Kids. I do really like that they didn't considering it helped make characters like Atem more likeable considering he was much more brutal then, but, while I'm not saying it would necessarily be better, but it would be kinda interesting. I know they already adapted those first few volumes in a Japanese only season with Season 0, but I think that's really dated. I actually do think some of the filler does work in the original series like the Waking The Dragon arc, but then there are others that are annoying like the Rebecca arc.
And the number 1 anime I want to see get rebooted is... Naruto/Naruto Shippuden:

And finally at number 1 is, maybe, my favourite anime/manga ever, Naruto. This should really go as a no-brainer for some people, but, really, in case you don't get it, I really, really want to see this series get rebooted to fix the problem of the constant, annoying filler. That's the one aspect of this series that really drags down the experience and enjoyment for me. Like everyone else, I always think that the filler in Naruto is beyond annoying and it causes the series as a whole to be really hard to get through. The whole plot really does suffer because of that and it can be extremely hard to get through because of that. Really, I honestly think that if they didn't plaque the shows with so much filler in both, they'd be 100% more enjoyable. And, really, the manga is well over by now, so they don't have to worry about running out of manga material. They can do what Dragon Ball Z Kai did with making a reboot for a popular series and take all the filler out so people can enjoy it more. It worked for Dragon Ball Z Kai a lot, so I don't see why they can't do the same here. And they can even do the real proper manga ending. And so everyone, those are my picks for the top 5 anime I want to see get rebooted. Thank you all for reading, please comment down below to tell me what you think, please share this post, and, if you like anime, please comment down below to tell me what anime you want to see get rebooted is.

My top 10 manga series with the best cover art

One of the best things that can get people interested in a manga series, or at least, get people started on them anyway, is the way that whatever is on it might peak their interest and so they'd be more likely to pick it up and want to read it. They can also be very appealing because they look so good and the artwork on them is really fantastic and creative and kinda impressive too. And these picks are obviously just my opinion and how I personally like these manga covers. I'll be showing the first volumes of each of these series just to give an example of my point. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
10. Bleach:
Starting us off at number 10 is probably the most basic out of all the manga covers on here. Whenever Tite Kubo makes a cover for any of these mangas, he only ever draws one character for each volume. Which is pretty fine and basic, but compared to other manga covers out there, it's not anything that special. It's still really good and, in my opinion, this is probably the best manga that serves for the 3-in-1 mangas because they're able to use the characters from the volumes to their advantage with one character on the front and then the other two on the back, which does help out with that a lot and it does benefit it from that.
9. Fairy Tail:
Fairy Tail 1
Next up is a series that tries does a bit more in terms of making designs for it's covers, Fairy Tail. I would say the covers for the Fairy Tail mangas are a bit more elaborate than Bleach in terms of what Hiro Mashima tries to put on it. He fills the cover with a lot of detail, whether it be big or small. It obviously does have a character on it, but it also has a lot around it to show the world's environment and I love that aspect to it. An they can be nice to look at too with the colours and actual artwork too.
8. My Hero Academia:

Personally, I've only recently gotten into My Hero Academia, but I'm really enjoying it and the covers for the mangas seem really creative and imaginative. And it's pretty clever with how they're presented because it's supposed to resemble an actual superhero comic book. Mainly ones from the 60's with the number of the volume and the Shonen Jump symbol on the top left with a character's face on it. That alone is really creative, but also, Kohei Horikoshi art is really fantastic on these. Personally, I got into this series because of a friend of mine, but seeing these manga covers as well is great to see and great to get people invested in its story.
7. Seven Deadly Sins:
The Seven Deadly Sins Vol. 1 - (EU) Comics by comiXology
This is another anime where I got into it because of someone else recently. I was interested in this for a while because a lot of people were talking about it, but mainly because my brother really liked it and is collecting the mangas themselves. I had actually wanted to get into it for a while and recently, I have. And I've started reading the mangas too. And one thing that really sticks out to me about them is the different covers on them. For one, I like the way the title is shown, that alone does look really cool, but I also like the character's designs on them too like Meliodas himself.
6. Yu-Gi-Oh!:

I had already said before that I thought the Yu-Gi-Oh mangas were some of the best looking in terms of what Kazuki Takahashi put in them with all the detail, but the covers on them are awesome too because they share the same thing like the amazing detail and the cool character designs. Given that both Yugi and Atam both have the most impossible hairstyle I think I've ever seen, I can only imagine what that must have been like when Takahashi was making them himself. The rest of it also looks great too like when he does like hieroglyphic writing on it. It can also be impressive when a huge monster is on it too like Slifer and some other characters are on it too like Atem and Marik.
5. Naruto:

Being one of the three most popular mangas of all time, along with Dragon Ball and One Piece, the Naruto mangas have some really creative covers. The first few volumes always look like the characters are doing some poses with ninja gear. And then later on, yeah, Kishimoto did kinda stay doing the same thing, but the covers also presented a little bit more of what was happening in the story. The last volume even shows the future of what exactly happens when Naruto is grown up and an adult as the Hokage. The 3-in-1's also have a bit of a pattern with always having Naruto himself on the front. And I like the actual designs too like how they show what could happen in the volume or showing the characters in a great way.
4. Dragon Ball:
Dragon Ball, Vol. 1
With it being the most famous manga series and anime of all time, the Dragon Ball manga covers are kind of an interesting case. They certainly look cool and they can show a bit of the story sometimes, but a lot of them also show some weird things like how a character might be doing an out of left field thing or they're driving some kinda vehicle. The 3-in-1's are also kinda interesting for me because I feel like sometime they choose the right picture for them, and other times, I feel they don't. Like, volume 12 of the 3-in-1's I feel should have been a picture of Goku and Gohan doing their Kamehameha, but it's Goku talking to everyone with King Kai, or volume 14 is Gotenks fighting Super Buu when I personally think it should have been Goku using the Spirit Bomb against Kid Buu. Still though, the artwork is always cool and I like the look of them all.
3. Fullmetal Alchemist:

It's a testament to Arakawa's amazing skill as an artist and a storyteller how she can continually make each volume of her volumes as cool and interesting than the last. I'm personally kinda curious to know what people's reactions were when they first saw the first volume of Fullmetal Alchemist with Ed on the front and Al as the armour behind him. It's not like that really gives us much information about the story as a whole. And all of them have some really cool look to them and as they keep going, they doing slowing give one little more piece about the story.
2. Death Note:
Coming in close to number 1 is the manga that I feel also has the best art in it, Death Note. Kinda like the Fullmetal Alchemist manga covers, the covers for the Death Note manga are ones where I wonder what people thought of for the first one. It just shows Light with a scythe and Ryuk in the background. Each one of the volumes just contains a wide shots of a different character on it. Maybe two characters would be on it. And given Takehi Obata is already an amazing artist for the inside of the manga, the outside can be just as good as the inside, which is really saying something in my opinion considering how amazing I think the regular art for the inside of the manga really is.
And the number 1 manga with the best cover art is... One Piece:
And finally at number 1 is the cover art for the long running mang series, One Piece. This is the series that I feel always does something creative and new with every single volume that comes out. Every time a new volume of this series comes out, I'm always amazed with the fanatastic looking covers that comes with it. You can definitely tell that Eiichiro Oda goes all out when it comes to these and he tries his hardest to make them look as good as he can. They all always either great to look at due to whatever picture is on it, or due to the great looking colours on it. And they're always great to see. The only downside to it is that, while I'm actually collecting the 3-in-1 mangas for One Piece, I don't really like the choice they made to make the covers because they make where it looks like the covers are all smashed together and you can only see one little line of what the overall design actually is. You can't see the full picture. Personally, I think they should have had it where the picture are in a square on the bottom and the first would go on the top right, the second on the top left and the last on the very bottom. I don't think that would have improved it or even good, it's just an idea I had. Still though, the covers themselves are always nice to look at and I love how much effort Oda puts into them. And so everyone, those are my picks for the top 10 mangas with the best cover art. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think. And, if you like mangas, please comment to tell me your favourite manga cover.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Tangled trailer

With Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out in less than three months, it was only a matter of time before we got even more footage from it. And this time, we get a small trailer for the Tangled world we're going to be seeing in it. We also hear English voice acting here and, like a lot of other things to do with Kingdom Hearts, just seeing Sora interacting with more Disney characters is just always awesome. They also show quite a few funny moments and seeing Kingdom Hearts recreate these Disney moments and having Sora in them is practically improving them in some way. Anyway, here it is and I hope you all like it.

My top 10 favourite Duel Monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh!

When it comes to Yu-Gi-Oh, the world almost seems like it runs on the game of Duel Monsters. And, with that, there's obviously going to be so many monsters in it. And I've managed to make up a list of my favourite monsters from it. And this could either be from the monster's designs, their abilities or even from how they might treat people because sometimes they can actually interact with other people. 'Cause, occasionally, they can act like companions to their owners. And so, here we go and I hope you all like this.
10. Kuriboh:

Starting us off at number 10 is this cute little hairy looking monster from Yugi's deck. While he may not be super strong, he has been a great companion to Yugi, and even just Winged Kuriboh to Jaden in Yu-Gi-Oh GX. And he can even help out with some of character's duels like when Yugi was duelling against Pegasus.
9. Gaia The Fierce Knight:
During the first few duels in the series, this Knight monster card was one of the ones that Yugi would usually be happy with when he held it hoping he could play it. It's got a great amount of attack points and it's been really effective whenever he used it at the start of the series. He used it against Kaiba in the first episode and even during the Duellist Kingdom arc. It's also a cool concept for a card, a blue and red armoured knight riding a purple horse.
8. Jinzo:
While this helmet wearing monster may have proven a toughest opponent for Joey to deal with at first, when he eventually won it, it became a huge advantage for him as it possesses the ability to neutralise trap cards on the field of the opponent. And, not only is he really strong, but he's also a fan favourite amongst fans, which is why it became a villain during the Virtual World arc.
7. The Red Eyes Black Dragon:

When the Blue Eyes White Dragon was first introduced, most people may have thought that there would not card out there quite like it. That is until Joey won this card from Rex Raptor and he became one of, if not, Joey's best card. While it may not be as strong as the Blue Eyes, it's still helped Joey through a ton of duels. It's also got so many more transformations. Whether it's the Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon or Red Eyes Black Skull Dragon, this beast's transformations are always awesome to see.
6. Buster Blader:
At the start of the Battle City arc, Yugi was able to get a new deck with new monsters that we hadn't yet been introduced to. And one of the most effective was this huge sword wielding armoured monster with the ability to gain more Attack Points if the opponent has dragon monsters on their side of the field or in their graveyard. So, you can only imagine Kaiba's reaction when Yugi used it against him and used it to annihilate his Blue Eyes White Dragons.
5. Summoned Skull:
One of the first strong cards we saw Yugi use in the series, this freaky looking skeleton monster card is very unique. It doesn't exactly have a lot of frontal attacks, which it does have a little bit of, but it mostly depends on a ton of lightning moves. It may not have been used much after the Duellist Kingdom arc, but if something like this is capable of shutting up Weavel Underwood, then you know something good is definetly able to come out of it.
4. Exodia:
When there's a monster so powerful you need five cards to summon him, you know that it's a real powerhouse. Not only is Exodia an unstoppable monster, but, in actuality, when holding all five of these cards in your hand, you automatically win the game. And in the anime, he has some amazing attacks like the obliterate attack or just when he's using his bare fists to fight like in the fight with Zorc.
3. The Dark Magician:
At number 3 is Yugi's favourite card in the whole game. This strong monster not only has a unique design, but he's helped Yugi through so many duels. He's also got amazing attacks and attack points. Plus, there are so many variations to this monster, whether it being the Dark Magician Girl, Dark Sage or Dark Paladin. This is also a special card when we see it's backstory during the second last arc in the original series.
2. The Blue Eyes White Dragon:
Coming in close to number 1 is Kaiba's favourite card and one of the most popular in the series, The Blue Eyes White Dragon. Not only is this Kaiba's favourite, but it's also Kazuki Takahashi's favourite too. This was actually a fan favourite when this was first introduced. And it's no wonder. It's an awesome monster card. It looks so cool and it's incredibly strong. It's also got a lot of different moves too and there's different versions to this monster like the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Blue Eyes Shining Dragon and the previously mentioned Red Eyes Black Dragon, which may be different to this, but still.
And my number 1 favourite Duel Monster is... Slifer The Sky Dragon:
And finally at number 1 is my personal favourite out of all of the Egyptian God Cards, Slifer. While all three of the Egyptian Gods are iconic for the series, my personal favourite is the coolest looking out of all of them and the most uniquely played card. This gigantic dragon with two mouths is the first one we're introduced to in the series and is the first one that Yugi is able to get. This card's attack points and defence points are a mystery until it's played and the reason for that is because it's points all depend on how many cards the player already has on the field. One monster alone can allow it to have 1000 points, so imagine how much power it'll have when the player has at least three or four monsters on the field. I like the other God Cards too like Obelisk The Tormentor and The Winged Dragon Of Ra, but this one just my personal favourite and is my favourite monster in all of Yu-Gi-Oh. And so everyone, those my top 10 favourite Duel Monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh. Thank you all for reading, please comment to tell me what you think, or, if you like Yu-Gi-Oh, please comment to tell me your favourite monster from it.
