My top 10 Yu-Gi-Oh characters

With me already making tons of lists before of my characters from different animes, I decided to make another of Yu-Gi-Oh! As I said before, Yu-Gi-Oh is kind of a nostalgic series for me in a small way. And so, even though I haven't completed rewatching all of it, I decided to count down my 10 favourite characters from it. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
10. Mokuba:

Starting us off at number 10 is Seto Kaiba's younger brother, Mokuba. After losing their parents, Mokuba and Seto were all the family they had and Mokuba looked up to Seto like an idol. And ever since they were kids, they've both been together with Mokuba doing everything he can to support Kaiba and do whatever he wants. He also does a lot to help some of the other characters as well. And, while I personally don't think he's likeable all the time, he's is for the most part.
9. Kaiba:

At number 9 is Mokuba's older brother and Yugi's rival, Seto Kaiba. Commonly known as one of the biggest jerks in anime history, Kaiba was orphaned as a young boy and grew up with an abusive adopted father. His treatment led Kaiba to develop a cold heart and he became obsessed with becoming the greatest duellist ever, pretty much the Vegeta of the series, but with duel monsters. And while he definetly has a lot of jerky moments, I much more prefer him when he teams up with Yugi and they work together.
8. Pegasus:

Probably the first real villain we saw in the series, at least in the anime, Pegasus was sort of a character who you'd almost see as a straight up despicable character and, while he's definitely a character who's like that considering what he does some really evil things and it's almost like he does it for some self-satisfaction, however, we then learn that he was hoping to collect the Millennium Items as an attempt to bring back his wife from death. And after he fails to do that, the character sorta, I wouldn't say changes entirely, but he definitely has a change of heart. And I also really like his personality with trying to make jokes all the time and also calling some people funny names or things like that.
7. Duke:

Next up the creator of the Dimension Dice game and owner of the other game shop in Yugi's town, Duke. Once a person who looked up to Pegasus, when he decided to create his own game called Dimension Dice Monsters, he tried to get Pegasus to approve and maybe have it be worldwide, but after Yugi beat Pegasus on Duellist Kingdom, he never heard from Pegasus again causing Duke to have a hatred on Yugi thinking he also cheated. So he tries to bear Yugi to prove it but learned Yugi really was a great gamer. And ever since then, he's been a great ally and friend to Yugi and the others and has sorta been a staple on the rest of the series from then onward.
6. Solomon:

Solomon Muto is Yugi's grandfather and one of the best duellists ever. When he was in Egypt, he found the Millennium Puzzle and gave it to Yugi.  He's also the one who taught Yugi everything he knows about Duel Monsters and is the main objective for Yugi when he went to the Duellist Kingdom to save him. And he's really supportive to Yugi and is even really fun and funny when he gets kinda cranky at some parts.
5. Tristan:

The first of Yugi's main friends is at number 5, Tristan. While probably the lowest of the three main friends of Yugi, he still gets a lot of great moments throughout and the character himself is super likeable, supportive and even really funny when he's going back and forth with Joey. But I also like seeing him working along side the others and being just a really great friend.
4. Joey:

At number 4 is Yugi's best friend and one of the more developed characters in the series, Joey. While originally a very rash and impulsive guy who never really thought that much, he began to change more into a better duellist and a better person as well. While originally a jerk to Yugi, when he stood up to a bully who were picking on Joey and Tristan, they became friends and have continued to be so ever since. He's also a lot of fun and might be the most fun character in the series.
3. Téa:

Possibly Yugi's love interest for the series and one of the more likeable characters in it is Téa. Téa was Yugi's first friend. And they've been together for so many years. And the character of Téa herself is extremely likeable with her always caring about her friends and wanting to do whatever it takes to help them. She's also a lot of fun and I like a lot of scenes with her and Yugi together.
2. Yugi:

Coming in close to number 1 is the King of Games and the protagonist of the series, Yugi Muto. While not exactly the bravest of all protagonists out there, Yugi himself is brilliant when it comes to playing games, as well as being a compassionate and friendly person who's willing to do whatever it takes to save everyone he can and just protect his friends and family all together. And the whole story with him is a lot of fun and I always enjoy his scenes in the show. And, yeah, like I've said before, he's definitely another one of my favourite anime protagonists.
And my number 1 favourite Yu-Gi-Oh character is... Atem:

And finally at number 1 is the Pharaoh of Egypt and the spirit within Yugi and the Millennium Puzzle, Atem. Five thousand years ago, he sealed the magic of the Shadow Games away inside the Millennium Items and even sealed his spirit inside the Millennium Puzzle. In present time, Yugi released the spirit of the Shadow Games and Atem along with it. When he did, Atem became part of him and has helped him in many duels. And Atem himself is super likeable, friendly and, kind of something that isn't based on the character, but I also really, really love Dan Green's performance as him in the anime. The performance and voice for him is so perfect and is another one of my favourite anime dubbed voices ever. He's also pretty funny in cases and I always love him and Yugi interacting and just talking in general. And all that together is why Atem is my favourite Yu-Gi-Oh characters. And so everyone, those were my top 10 Yu-Gi-Oh characters. Thank you all for reading, I hope you all liked this and please comment down below to tell me what you think and, if you like Yu-Gi-Oh, please tell me your favourite character.
