My Tien collectible (Review)

So, it's kinda been a while since I got a collectible for any Dragon Ball characters and I finally got one recently. It's one for Tien. This one I got is in collection of a bunch of other characters from the series during the Cell Saga of Dragon Ball Z. And, since I finally got another one and Tien in particular, that means I've gotten nine characters from Team Universe 7 from Dragon Ball Super that I'm looking for and I'm still working on getting Krillin. This one of Tien though isn't one of the better ones I have, but I'm still glad to have one of him and I've personally always liked Tien so adding him to the case with the other characters was good to get. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

And so, everyone, we're finally here. I finally to see Spider-Man: No Way Home. After a whole year of waiting, it's finally out and I just saw it last night. I was honestly super hyped for this, but also skeptical because the trailers and the plot did make me feel a bit cautious about this. However, the early reviews started coming in and they were all positive. People were saying how good this was and so that definitely made me feel so much better and that made the hype for this even bigger going in. And, right off the bat, the first thing I'll get out of the way is that this might be my favourite M.C.U movie ever. I know that's kind of a drastic claim to make, but I honestly thought this movie was incredible. That's not to say it's perfect, there are problems, but the things that are amazing in this are truly monumental. I can't begin to express the happiness with this film. I have a lot of thoughts on this film and there's a lot I wanna talk about, especially in the spoiler section, but I'll try my best to avoid spoilers in this first part of the review. So, what's the story? Well, ever since Mysterio revealed Peter is Spider-Man in the last movie, his life is being thrown into chaos. Police are after him, he's being hated by everyone around him and it damaging his life and his loved ones. So, after a while, he gets the idea to ask Stephen for help, but he messes with the spell that causes it to go wrong which leads the villains from the other Spider-Man movies to cross over. And, I'm gonna stop there because that's as far as we know from the trailers and everything we've officially been shown. So, yeah, let's get into the great stuff here. For one, Tom Holland is still proving to be an incredible actor and this is honestly my favourite performance of his . There's a lot of thing Peter goes through and he does a fantastic job in this. The rest of the cast is also still fantastic and I really enjoyed Peter and MJ in this. I found it, not terrible, but nothing amazing in Far From Home with their relationship. Here, I really liked it and thought they worked off each other well. Same with Jacob Batalon as Ned again. He's still fantastic in these movies and the dynamic the three of them had was really fun to watch. I also liked seeing Stephen in this again and Benedict Cumberbatch is still terrific in these movies. I also liked the relationship he and Peter have in this. It goes in ways I didn't expect and I really liked it. The rest are also fantastic and something else that's different in this film that sets it apart from the other Spider-Man movies is that this is way darker. I'm obviously not saying why, but this is totally the darkest Spider-Man movie I think we may have ever seen. And I love that. I love how it feels like they're bringing these characters more and more into adulthood. Tom Holland's Spidey started off as a young teenager and it was fun to see him like that, but, ever since then, they've been making his journey more adult and I like how you see the circumstances becoming a lot more adult. That's not to say it's very dark, it's still super fun and upbeat in a lot of scenes, but they definitely knew how to make this more of a darker story. There's one part in particular did actually make me cry. The film's also really funny. There's some really hilarious scenes in this and all the jokes landed in my opinion. As far as action and effects, yeah, they're all great here. Okay, there are some effects that are kinda weird, but the majority of them and the action are all really impressive, creative and really cool. The villains as well are so great here and, yeah, it's incredible to see Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Thomas Haden Church, Rhys Ifans and Jamie Foxx all here and interacting off each other. Trust me, they're in this a lot. They don't just show up and have a small role, they have a lot to do in this. That was something me a lot of other people were worried about, but they have a huge substantial part to play in the film and all their performances are fantastic. I was also surprised to find that there is a main villain in this. I just assumed all the villains were equal in this, but, I was very, very shocked to see that this film does have a main villain. Another thing I have to say is that I have give so much credit to Jon Watts. He did a fantastic job balancing all of this. This reminded me of Infinity War and Endgame a bit in that this is a huge movie with so many characters, but it's balanced so well. Honestly, this film felt like the combination of everything I've ever wanted in a Spider-Man movie. We really get to see Tom Holland's Spidey fight these other movie villains like Willem Dafoe's Goblin. That was something I wanted for a long time but I never thought they would ever do that. And it has the phenomenal character writing I love about the Spider-Man character that makes him still my favourite superhero ever. However, with all that said, is this movie perfect? No it's not. There are some weird things in this. The biggest is some editing problems that felt so weird to me. There's the scene between Peter and Stephen when he goes to talk to him and I thought that part was edited a bit better in the trailer because the way it's done in the film is weirdly edited and put together. There's also one scene in a building where a lot of the characters were and we barely see them together. They're just in single shots by themselves. It felt a tad lazy to me. I dunno why they did it like that, but just having the characters in single shots like that was just really strange to watch. As someone who wanted to see them together a lot, it was weird to see it done like that. But, that's really about it. Really, just some of my problems were some editing choices and, while they can be kinda distracting, they don't really take anything away from the film. Really, this just feels like a movie that should be remembered just as strongly as Infinity War and Endgame because of how absolutely different and ambitious this film is. It does so many things that I've never seen in a movie before and it should absolutely be remembered for being able to do something like that. It was also cool to see some fan service with some of these characters too. There's some callbacks to the villains' appearances in the other movies and it was really fun to see and there was so much nostalgia in this too. So, yeah, really guys, the hype for this movie is totally worth it. This is one of the best cinema experiences I've had in a long time and I would say this is definitely my favourite M.C.U Spider-Man movie. Maybe my favorite Spider-Man movie period. So, I'm obviously recommending this. This film definitely deserves all the love it's gonna get. Like I said, it's far from perfect, but I had an incredible time with this and I can't wait to see it again. And so, yeah, everyone, that's my review for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Thank you all for reading and please comment below to tell me what you think. Okay, now we're getting into the spoilers. If you don't want anything spoiled, go see the film and then come back and read the rest of this.

Spoilers:

Okay, there's a lot to talk about in the spoilers here that I barely know where to start. Obviously the first big one to talk about with the beginning, Charlie Cox is officially back as Matt Murdock. I swear, as soon as he came on, I lost my mind. As someone who's been a massive fan of the Netflix shows and Charlie Cox as Daredevil in particular and has wanted the shows and movies to crossover at some point, this was insane and even though he was only in it for two minutes, that whole part was easily one of the best in the movie and I adored it. I can't wait to see more of him and it was especially amazing to see him interacting with Peter first. That was amazing. Okay, so I guess the next one is when the villains really do appear, it was cool and funny when Peter is able to control Otto's arms and seeing them interact was awesome. It was especially cool with Goblin showed up and then they just leave. It was also cool seeing Lizard already captured. I also liked how they redesigned Lizard. He looked different to me and he looked better in my opinion. I also thought Sandman first showing up to help Peter was cool. It was nice to see them team up against Electro. It was also cool to see how they fix Max and get his body back. And then the fight with Peter and Stephen when he tries to send them back was awesome. I loved seeing Stephen using the Mirror Dimension but Peter is able to still beat him. It was also cool when Peter goes back to the villains and Norman says "I'm something of a scientist myself." That was the part with the villains referencing the other movies I mentioned that I thought was cool. I also loved the scene where Peter and the villains go to his apartment so he can help them. That was that one scene I mentioned that was kinda weird with how everyone was in single shots. That scene was awesome, but I didn't like how it was shot with the villains not in a wide shot together and we just saw them individually. It was still cool, but that did bother me. But, the scene is made even more tense when the Goblin comes out of Norman and he convinces the villains to go bad again. And, I'm not gonna lie, the part where May dies was the part that did make me cry. I really didn't expect to cry in this, but that scene really did make me cry and Tom Holland and Marisa Tomei's performances were a huge help in that. And, then, the biggest spoiler in this whole film, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield both return as Spider-Man. I'm telling you, as soon as they came on screen, my audience roared and I was the same. After all these years and after so many fan theories, they finally, finally, finally did it. They really did a gigantic crossover with the three big screen Spider-Men and I loved it. I'll be honest, I was kinda nervous about that that maybe this would destroy the film, but, no, it just added to it and made it so absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't believe it when they came on and it was amazing. And seeing three of them have the traditional M.C.U banter was amazing. They worked off each other so well and I couldn't believe what was happening. I was just acting like a child when they had their scenes together. And, really, the performances from all of them really sold the chemistry between them and made it all the more fun to watch. And, seeing the three of them fighting alongside each other in the final battle was a dream come true. My favourite shot in the whole movie as well was either when they were running together or when they all landed on the Statue Of Liberty. Plus, the way they all get there, with Ned actually using magic totally surprised me. I didn't see that coming and I love how they did that and gave him more to do in this. And, not only was the interactions between the three of them great, but also the interactions with the villains. I loved seeing Garfield talking to Electro and then Maguire talks to Otto and Sandman. And I think they even make amends as they're curing them. I especially liked seeing Garfield and Max talking and I love how he references Miles Morales. That especially was so cool. Plus, another one of the things I hoped they'd do that they did do when MJ fell. Me and a bunch of people theorised that when that happened, Garfield was gonna catch her and he did. My God, I could not believe that I really saw that happen. But then it's really cool when Holland's Peter gets in that fist fight with the Goblin and that was pretty brutal with them both pummeling each other. And, I really did think Maguire was gonna die when the Goblin stabbed him. But it was nice when they got Norman back. And I also loved the ending with the three Peter's saying goodbye to each other but then it's made super tragic when Peter has to sacrifice his whole existence to stop those beings from coming through so he has to make it so that not a single person knows who he is and his farewell to Ned and MJ was really sad and kinda sweet too. And I like how Peter was able to make amends with Stephen before he casts the spell. And, I loved how it end with Peter's existence being erased from every person's memory and I liked the scene that follows with him at the graveyard and him talking to Happy who now doesn't know him and then he goes to the restaurant MJ works at and their conversation was really nice. And I also thought the ending made sense with Peter making a homemade suit and making it look like the Classic Suit and it makes sense considering he no longer has access to Stark Tech and I like how he's basically been reset to square one and he's probably gonna fight smaller scale things again. And, yeah, I just loved the ending. so, yeah, really guys, this just had everything I could ever want in a huge epic Spider-Man movie and it totally delivered everything it was aiming for. I just couldn't hold in my excitement while watching and this was just such a cinematic experience. As far as the mid credit scene, it was kinda weird. We just see Eddie talking to someone and then he's beamed right back to where he belongs. Okay, yeah, that was pretty annoying. I was really excited to see them interact with Tom Holland in some way, but that didn't end up happening. I did love how there was a piece of Symbiote left over which means there could be a Venom in the M.C.U, but, yeah. It was annoying we only saw this Eddie in it for just thirty seconds without him meeting anyone and then he's brought back. That was disappointing. But it doesn't take anything away from the film and I am excited to see what that Symbiote piece does. And the actual end credit scene with that Doctor Strange: Into The Multiverse Of Madness trailer was cool. So, yeah, overall, guys, I can't express my love for this film enough. I am absolutely recommending seeing this even if you've seen it already because I'm definitely gonna try to see it again. As far as the M.C.U this year, this is definitely my favourite thing to come out of it and I had so much fun with this film. And, so, yeah, everyone, that's my review for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Thank you all for reading and please comment down to tell me what you think.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Anime Review) Part 1

So, I know it's been a few months since my last anime review, but I'm finally back with them again. The reason I stopped was because I was beginning to watch a lot more new anime and I wanted to watch them before doing more of these reviews. But, now I'm back with them with my review of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I haven't seen all of the parts of JoJo yet. I've only seen Phantom Blood up until Stardust Crusaders. So, this review will only be talking about the first three parts. That's why the title says Part 1. I'm hoping to start seeing Diamond Is Unbreakable and Golden Wind really soon, but, for now, I'm just doing Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency and Stardust Crusaders. So, anyway, yeah the JoJo series is insanely popular throughout the world and I myself have been curious to check it out for a while. I then decided to get the Blu-Rays for the first three parts because they were the only ones that were available here and I wanted to see what the all the hype was about. It's another Shonen Jump series created by Hirohiko Araki and the basic plot for all of them is that each part follows a member of the Joestar family as something happens in their lives that causes them to need to stop someone from doing something in some way. So, let's just get started with the original, Phantom Blood. I actually hadn't heard that many great things about this before starting, especially from one guy in particular who said he really didn't like it. So, I went into this first part curious, but also pretty hopeful because I knew this was such a huge series and I was excited to start it. And, in the end, yeah, I'm pretty much the same. I personally didn't like Phantom Blood. It's not bad and, as a whole, it is good, I suppose, but, I personally just found the vast majority of this first part really boring. I know the manga started in the late eighties, which was actually when Dragon Ball was still being made, but I really don't think it's aged well at all. There's so many parts of this that're really cheesy and I couldn't get behind this. The plot for this one is that a guy named Dio Brando is adopted into the Joestar family and he decides he wants to take their fortune for himself. In the family is a guy named Jonathan Joestar and Dio tries to make his life a nightmare so Jonathan has to try to stop him from killing his dad. So, I will admit, the set up for the series is actually interesting and I know how iconic a lot of these characters are, especially Dio as one of the most iconic Shonen Jump villains ever and he was probably my favourite part of this first part. As for the rest of it, I was honestly really bored while watching most of this. Jonathan himself in particular really bored me. He wasn't bad but he was just so uninteresting and bland. And, since we follow him for the whole time, I found it kinda hard to get through most of this. Like I said, everything to do with Dio was far more interesting because he was pretty fun to watch. It's kinda hard to explain but it's kinda like Frieza and Hisoka. They may be irredeemable villains who do horrible things, but they're just so much fun to watch and so charismatic that they're impossible to really hate. And the stuff with him was interesting to watch and I did find it cool when we learn about Hamon. That stuff was pretty cool, but, really, a large majority of this still did just bore me a lot. And, I know Phantom Blood in the anime was only nine episodes long, but it felt so much longer and the episodes were dragged out so much and the pacing was so slow that I wished the whole thing would just end. And, I will admit, the actual ending is pretty cool on that ship when Jonathan and Erina get married and then Dio attacks him with his zombie army. That whole part actually is really good. And it's interesting that this is a Shonen Jump property when the main protagonist is killed at the end like that. So, that whole part was probably my favourite sequence in the whole first part. But, really, as a whole, Phantom Blood is definitely my least favourite part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure so far. The same goes for the dubbing as well. I'm obviously referring to the recent anime that started in 2012 and so they tried to modernise it, but I really don't think it works very well. The writing and all that may have been good for the time when the manga started in the eighties, but not really nowadays. And, like I said, I don't think the dubbing really helps because the writing really hasn't aged well. I was pretty surprised when I found out that Johnny Yong Bosch played Jonathan and, while not bad, Johnny Yong Bosch can never do a bad performance, this is definitely my least favourite performance of his. It's not his fault, Jonathan is just really boring and it's honestly really weird hearing him doing a British accent. I'd say, next to Dio, Zeppeli was probably my favourite character. He's the guy who teaches Hamon to Jonathan and he was probably my second favourite character. But, overall, yeah, I mostly didn't enjoy watching Phantom Blood. It may have worked back when it was released, but I really don't think it's aged well at all and, really, I was mostly just really relieved when I finished watching it. It may be really short with just a few episodes, but they feel so slow and so long that it's such a drag to get through them. So, yeah, those are my thoughts on Phantom Blood. Now, let's move onto Part 2, Battle Tendency. Now, while this may have come right after Phantom Blood, this is a gigantic improvement. This was actually the part I knew the least about in terms of the first five parts of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. And I think that helped make the experience all the more enjoyable because, from the three parts of JoJo I've seen so far, this one is my favourite. Its story is way better thought out, its characters are infinitely more interesting and the progression of the plot is really genius. I just had an absolute blast with Battle Tendency. This one follows Jonathan's grandson, Joseph Joestar, as he tries to learn Hamon to fight a group of villains called the Pillar Men alongside Caesar Zeppeli, the grandson of Zeppeli from Phantom Blood. So, yeah, again, I just had so much fun with this part. I loved seeing the characters interacting and what they spoke about was really interesting. I also liked Joseph a lot more than Jonathan because he was actually really fun. I loved his smart mouth attitude and he was really funny. I also really liked Caesar, he and Joseph had a really fun dynamic and it was pretty sad when he was killed. The Pillar Men were also way better as villains than Dio was. I liked Dio in Part 1, but there were point where he was a bit much for me, but the Pillar Men were better. Well, kinda. The only one that really stood out to me was Wamuu. There were four in total but the only one who really stood out to me was the one named Wamuu. One part for that was the writing, but another part was also the fact that Paul St. Peter voiced him. As in the same guy who voices Xemnas in Kingdom Hearts. So, that was obviously awesome for me to hear. But, really, he felt like he was the best written. I don't remember much about the others aside from Kars, as in the main villain of Part 2, but he sometimes was too generic. But the rest of the characters are very fun to watch. I really like all the side characters like Caesar, Smokey, Lisa Lisa and it was cool that Erina came back as a supporting character in this again. And I liked the plotline of Lisa Lisa actually being Joseph's mom but also not wanting to tell him for his safety and then taking him and Caesar in as her students. And, I'm not gonna lie, a lot of the training Joseph and Caesar were doing with Hamon reminded me of the training in Naruto with them learning about Chakra from Kakashi. I just couldn't help but make that comparison while watching it. The journey as well overall is just so much fun and the ending when Joseph, Caesar and Lisa Lisa go to try to stop Kars is also cool with them fighting different opponents and them having some gladiator thing with them fighting monsters was really cool. And, the ending as well is just insane. Like, I've seen some really insane final fights in anime before, but this one is just madness. We have Joseph trying to fight Kars and he tries to make him fall into a volcano but they both keep surviving in the craziest ways until he somehow beats him by launching him into space to make him freeze. Again, it's just absolutely insane, but it works really well. And then the actual ending with all of them reuniting with Joseph having married Suzie Q is really nice and kinda funny. I also felt like a lot of moments in this that were trying to be satisfying worked a lot more than the ones in Phantom Blood because, even though it was almost twice the amount of episodes in the anime, I felt like it was structured so much better. Really, overall, I just loved Battle Tendency. I thought it was a ginormous improvement over Phantom Blood and it had a story that was super investing and I had a great time with it. I would definitely want to watch this again at some point and I do think it's the best part of JoJo I've seen so far. But, with those first two parts finished, let's move onto Part 3, Stardust Crusaders. This was honestly the part I was most excited to see and it's easily the most popular part in all of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I knew so much about this part and from what I saw, I was really excited. However, I'm not gonna lie, about 75-80% of this was a disappointment to me. Let's get to what I liked first though. First off, this has easily my favourite leading JoJo in it, Jotaro Kujo. Even before watching it, he was already my favourite JoJo from what I had seen in some clips beforehand. And watching the series confirmed that. He is easily my favourite character in this entire franchise so far. I loved Jotaro. I also loved the setup. In fact, the opening and ending to this part is amazing. This one follows Jotaro, who's Joseph's grandson, as he goes with Joseph and some other people to find and kill Dio who's after been resurrected and now Jotaro has to find and kill him to save his mom, who's also Joseph's daughter, Holly. So, the start of the series is really great when we're getting to know about what's happening and I also liked the inclusion of Stands, basically the main power system of the series which creates a being made of aura to fight for the person who wields it. And the Crusaders themselves were awesome. I loved all of them, Jotaro, Joseph, Polnareff, Avdol, Kakyoin and Iggy. I loved them all and the whole interactions with all of them was so much fun. I also felt like Joseph had more of a personality here. However, what I really, really disliked about this was the length. This whole part of the series is insanely long and so much of this does feel like a waste of time because the team is trying to get to Cairo to find and kill Dio but they keep running into people who're also Stand users and working for Dio and they would always just fight them and then move into the next episode and that was how every episode was. It was just them going somewhere and having a fight and then rinse and repeat. So much of this felt so much like filler. And, as you all know, I hate filler in anime. And considering so much of this felt like that was honestly kinda frustrating. It also kinda baffles me that this was all actually in the manga. I realise it would have been weird if they got to Cairo really fast so I do understand wanting to buy time to make it more like a proper story. But, this thing goes on for way too long and it just got boring for me. And the fact that it's ten volumes and 48 episodes long is just insane to me. I actually skipped most of the episodes after they got to Egypt because I knew what the vast majority of the episodes were gonna be. I will admit, there were some episodes that were kinda creative, but, for the most part, I was just waiting for them to get there. But, with all that being said, the actual ending of this part is absolutely phenomenal. When they actually get to Cairo and face off against Dio, it's honestly one of the best moments in anime I think I've ever seen. The whole part when Dio comes out at night and he starts chasing them through the city is amazing and the ending part with Jotaro finally taking him on is just the pinnacle of it all.
It's just anime perfection. So, the ending of Stardust Crusaders is easily the best moment in the entire series for me. And it's all the more tragic when Avdol, Iggy and Kakyoin all die. So, yeah, the ending of this is honestly one of the best pieces in anime I think I may have ever seen and it has a great setup with an amazing opening. However, the whole getting to that ending does feel hard to get to because of all the events that feel like filler. There was never really any where I felt super entertained and it really did just bore me a lot. But, the payoff for it all is totally worth it so I do totally recommend it for that. I also love the dub for this too, especially Matt Mercer as Jotaro. So, yeah, while not perfect at all, there's so many amazing things in this part and I definitely see why it's the most popular JoJo part. And, so, yeah, those are my thought on the first three parts of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I can easily see why people are huge fans of this series and I see why it's insanely popular. I'm really excited to get started on Diamond Is Unbreakable and Golden Wind soon along with Stone Ocean and so, one day, I'll do a Part 2 where I talk about those. And so, yeah, I do recommend this series to you and I'm glad I got into it myself and I'm excited to do more anime reviews soon. And so, everyone, those are my thoughts on Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency and Stardust Crusaders. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

Encanto

And so, everyone, we've gotten to the newest Disney Classic, Encanto. Honestly, while I was definitely excited to see this as per usual with me and this stuff, the marketing didn't exactly get me psyched for this entirely. But, regardless, it is still a new Disney Classic and that's plenty enough reason for me to be excited and it did actually feel good to see one in the cinemas since Frozen 2 considering I had to watch Raya And The Last Dragon on Disney+. And so, what did I eventually think of it? While I wouldn't say I necessarily loved it, I still really enjoyed it and there were parts of it I did absolutely love. And, again, like always, I'll be going no spoilers first and then go into all the spoilers with a warning. So, what's the story? A family in Columbia called the Madrigals each have some power given to them thanks to a miracle candle. All of them except one, a girl named Mirabel. She's clearly upset that she's the only one out of her entire family that doesn't but she still tries to live with it. They also live in a house that's completely magical and it's like the house is alive. However, after getting feelings that something's wrong, Mirabel decides to investigate what it is and learns more about her family. And I'm gonna stop there. So, immediately, the first thing to always talk about these Disney films is clearly the animation which is still animation perfection, as to be expected with Disney. But this really is a gorgeous film. Not just gorgeous from the animation itself, but also insanely colourful. One of Mirabel's sisters in particular has the ability to make flowers appears and it's really colourful. The characters as well are so well realised. I really liked everyone like Mirabel and her sisters, but I think Luisa was my favourite, one of Mirabel's sisters whose power is super strength. She was super likeable and really funny. Speaking of, yeah, the movie is really funny. There's tons of jokes and a lot of them really made me laugh, especially anything with Luisa. There's one scene in particular with Mirabel and one of her sisters in particular that really made me laugh. I also like how there's basically one location in the whole film. It's pretty clever because, since the house they live in is so gigantic, they can go to different locations in it and it's really fun to explore it and learn of this family's history with it. And, the fact that it all only takes place in just one place throughout the whole movie is really unique. It also makes it fun to watch considering the house is almost like it's alive and so it's almost like a character of its own and it's fun watching the characters interact with it. Also, this is kind of a weird point to make, but something I noticed before seeing the film is that this actually reminded me of My Hero Academia and Black Clover a bit because the premise is centered around a character surrounded by magical people and they don't have any magic power themselves. Kinda weird, but it's just something I noticed. Anyway, something else that's great here is the songs. I was kinda surprised that this was actually a musical, though I guess I probably shoulda known that. But, yeah, the songs here are great. They were done by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the same guy who did the songs for Moana, one of my favourite Disney musicals ever, and, yeah, he does an amazing job here. Personally, I didn't find every song that memorable, but the majority of them are really catchy and some were pretty funny too, especially Luisa's one. I also enjoyed the actual dynamic between the family. Not just those funny moments I mentioned, but also the relationships between everyone was mostly nice and there are some things that happen with them, especially towards the end, that I didn't expect. Probably my favourite relationship was with Mirabel and a boy name Antonio. I really liked their scenes, especially early on in the film. There's also a twist in this towards the middle of the movie that I also didn't expect and it does have some nice moments with that too. There's also a few emotional moments in this that I thought were handled pretty well, especially one regarding a character from that twist I mentioned and it led to some pretty sad moments. Really, this just feels like Disney getting on track again and they still got the talent of making really great animated films, which they had already proved this year with Raya And The Last Dragon, but this feels like it's continuing that trend. As far as if I have any problems, I guess my biggest issue would be the ending. It's kinda feels like it comes outta nowhere and wraps everything up a bit too well. There's something that happens and I don't entirely get it. It just felt like a deus ex machina. It's not a major issue, just a small thing that bothered me a little bit. But, really, that's about it. I really liked this film and I'm so glad to have been able to see another Disney Classic in the cinemas again since the pandemic. And, really, the first one since Moana that I can really say was really good, again, I did see Raya on Disney+, so that doesn't count, but this was just such a treat see in the theatres again and I'm really glad it was as good as it was. So, yeah, I'm obviously recommending this. I'm really excited to see it again myself. So, yeah, everyone, that's my review for Encanto. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think. Okay, now we're getting into the spoilers. If you don't want this film spoiled, go and see the film and then read the rest of this.

Spoilers:

Okay, so, there's not really that much to spoil about this, but there are some things I wanna discuss. First, that whole Bruno character part of the story was pretty interesting. That part of when he was introduced was actually a little scary with him being in hooded and in the dark and I was honestly expecting him to be the villain, but I was pretty surprised to find he wasn't and the whole thing with him sorta being exiled from the family and being inside the walls of the house was that emotional aspect I mentioned. Especially when we see he's been looking through into the family to feel like he was joining them was pretty sad too. I did also like when he and Mirabel find out she may have to hug Isabela to fix the magic. That led to some really funny moments. And I was sort surprised when that didn't exactly work and then the house just comes down from the magic being lost. And the whole thing with Mirabel and Abuela at the lake was also pretty sad too. Now, probably the biggest spoiler, which is also that thing I didn't like was the ending. I don't know if they explain it but the whole thing with Mirabel somehow fixing the house was kinda weird. Like I said, it just felt like a deus ex machina that kinda came outta nowhere. But, it's not that big of an issue like I said and it did lead to a nice ending with all of them back together. And, really, that's about it. Really, like I said, I'm just really glad with how this turned out and I really, really loved a lot about this. And so, everyone, that's my review for Encanto. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

My Uraraka and Iida collectibles (Review)

So, yesterday, I was at another Comic Con here and that allowed me to find more anime collectibles. And the two I got were ones for Uraraka and Iida from My Hero Academia. It's kinda been a while since I got one from My Hero Academia, but I'm glad I did. And getting more to go along with the Deku and Kacchan ones I have already is also cool. I did try getting a Todoroki one but it was busted when it arrived, so, hopefully I can get another one for that soon. But, for now, let's just focus on the new Uraraka and Iida figures. Actually, speaking of My Hero Academia, I've been able to read more mangas of it lately and I'm super excited for more. Anyway, here's my review for the figures and I hope you all like this.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Second Trailer

So, after all this time, we finally got the second trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home. I haven't seen people get excited for a trailer this much in a long while. But, yeah, I was super excited for this too and this trailer definitely delivered. This pretty much gave me what I wanted. We get some new shots of the villains and it looks like Doctor Octopus might actually be a good guy in this. We get a nice and funny moment with him with Peter, Ned and M.J and, like I said, we get some shots of the other villains like Green Goblin, Sandman, Lizard and Electro. Some of these guys actually look different, but really cool. I think Green Goblin was the best one to see because he's my favourite Spidey villain. We still don't see Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, but I think that helps make this more exciting for when we'll see them in the movie. And it's cool because the film is coming out in just a little under a month where I am. But, yeah, I'm super hyped for the film and I can't wait to see it. And so, here's the trailer and I hope you all like this.

New Disney+ Day 2021 Marvel Teasers

So, yesterday, we got a whole bunch of new Disney+ content for Marvel because yesterday was Disney+ Day. So the biggest new things we got to see were teasers for Moon Knight, She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel. Yes, there were some other things revealed like a look at Secret Invasion and so on, but in terms of the actual new proper teasers, we got to see ones for those I just mentioned. Out of the shows that're coming out now, the one I'm most excited to see is Moon Knight. It seems cool and I like the idea for character. But the other two teasers look really cool too. I'm just excited to see new characters in the M.C.U and these give me a lot of hope for that. And so, here they are and I hope you all like these.

Eternals

And so, everyone, we've finally arrived at the newest M.C.U movie and one that I personally wasn't all that excited for but was still curious about it, Eternals. Yeah, I didn't know anything about these characters beforehand. I knew of them from hearing some things from Marvel character guides and people talking about them, but in terms of the characters, I didn't know anything. Also, I had heard of some bad things about this film before seeing it like people saying this was the first actual bad M.C.U movie. Yeah, some movies in the M.C.U have been divided amongst the audience, but the vast majority of people mainly agreed there wasn't any bad film before except this one. So, I saw it on Friday and was hoping I would at least enjoy it and get some entertainment out of it. I've always tried to defend the M.C.U movies because I'm such a big fan. Even some of the films that maybe some people don't entirely like, I've tried to explain why I think they're good. And so I really wanted to at least like this film and have some fun with it regardless of all that. And so, did I? ...Eh, not really. As much as I really hate to admit it, I really didn't like this and it's definitely my least favourite M.C.U movie so far. I was hoping I would disagree with what people have been saying about this, but, in the end, I just didn't get behind this movie at all. Which is a huge shame considering I've never disliked a single one of their movies before and this was being built up as a special movie for the M.C.U and one of its most unique, but there's a lot of things wrong with this that I really didn't like. Also, like always, I'll be going for no spoilers first and then getting into all the spoilers later. Okay, so, what's the story? We're introduced to a group of immortal beings called the Eternals who have been on Earth for thousands of years and they're living normal lives. We're introduced to one of them named Sersi, played by Gemma Chan, who ends up fighting a monster called a Deviant, which is something she thought was dead but after being attacked, she decides to get her group of Eternals back together to fight off more of them along with trying to understand a mystery going on. And, I'll stop there. So, immediately, the first thing here I really didn't like was the editing and pacing. The pacing in particular is really bad in this. I found that the opening in particular was really, really fast and it barely gave us a chance to get to know these characters. And that's probably my least favourite aspect about the movie entirely. The characters in this aren't memorable at all. I can't remember a single thing about these guys. Only a couple of things from a few but it's not that much from the writing. The opening in particular goes by so fast that we barely get to know most of the pasts of the characters. The cast as well is mostly okay but whatever problems I have with them mostly stems from the writing. I thought the majority of them were kinda boring and not memorable at all. The editing is also weird in the scenes where we focus on some characters' backstories. The whole movie actually reminded me of the Inhumans show that a lot of people really didn't like. I never watched it, but by watching this, it kinda gave me a bit of the same feeling people were talking about with that show. The movie really did just bore me. I wasn't really interested in any of this. I will say, some characters actually are likeable, especially Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos. He was probably my favourite character in the film and his performance was really good. The film as a whole though really didn't hold my attention and there's a lot of time just dedicated the characters just walking and talking and it really didn't interest me. I will say, the parts that actually were interesting were the parts when they were talking to the Celestials and finding out what exactly is happening. When it focused on that stuff, it was interesting, especially at the end. Even though I wasn't interested in the film, the ending is actually pretty cool when everything is discovered. The jokes as well didn't really do it for me. They're either drawn out or aren't funny to begin with, especially with one guy in particular who follows the Eternals around for a while. Another thing that's weird is the characters' decision making. Some characters change their minds on different things really quickly and it's kinda unnatural and pretty forced. And, forced is really the best way to describe the film, a lot of things, especially at the start, just feel like they're pushed out really quickly so we don't ever feel like we get to know any of these characters like I said. Also, there are some things that don't make any sense, especially one thing in particular at the end. The action as well is little underwhelming. There isn't that much of it and when it is, some of it is kinda cool, but the majority of them kinda let me down. I will say, the one thing I really did love in this was the mid credit scene. As soon as I saw that, I thought it was really cool and it did make me really excited for the future. And the end credit scene was pretty cool too and did make me excited for the character in it. So, in the end, really, this film was mostly a huge disappointment to me because the pacing and editing really do bring this film down a lot. As a gigantic fan of the M.C.U, it really does pain me to actually see a film that I personally really didn't like a wasn't good in my opinion. I know this review probably wasn't very long but that's because I feel like this movie is better to talk about in the spoiler section. So, yeah, if you're a fan of the M.C.U, maybe go in with low expectations because it is pretty disappointing. I don't think I would ever want to see this again and it's kinda sad because their last movie, Shang-Chi, may have been one of my favourite M.C.U films and then they followed it up with this. So, yeah, again, I do still recommend seeing this, I just couldn't get into it myself personally. And so, everyone, that's my review for Eternals. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.
Spoilers:
Okay, so, there probably isn't that much to spoil about the film, but I just wanted to talk about them anyway. So, the first big thing I want to talk about was the Celestial Arishem. That was that interesting thing I was talking about. All the stuff about that was interesting and it was pretty cool when he revealed that Celestials are born from inside a planet and therefore destroying it when it emerges. However, like I was saying, a lot of the time we're following Sersi and the others trying to find the others and a lot of it really didn't hold my attention. And, like I said, I didn't like that cameraman who was following them around for a while. I know it was supposed to be funny, but I just didn't find it funny. I also didn't care that much when Gilgamesh got killed. They tried to make that emotional but, like I said, since I didn't find any of the characters memorable, it was hard to get into that scene emotionally. I also found the whole opening crawl part really weird. It felt like they were trying to be like Star Wars and it was just weird to me. I also didn't like that opening action scene on the beach. It looked kinda weird and the actual scene itself, again, felt kinda forced. And I guess we can also talk about the climax, which was probably my favourite part of the film. I found it cool when they decided to have Sersi do something about the Celestial to maybe kill it before it could emerge. And I did kinda like when it was revealed Ikaris was kind of a villain as well. It was kinda weird, but it was cool. And it did lead to some cool moments when they were fighting him at the end. And then at the end, even though I though Sersi killing the Celestial was pretty cool, it did kinda make me wonder how the planet is still stable because, when I saw it, it looked like the Celestial made some serious damage to the ground and so that was the part that didn't make sense to me. As well as when Ikaris apologised and then, maybe, killed himself. That was what I meant by some characters' decision making being weird. I didn't like how he just changed that quickly. And, I did find the part where Arishem came to the Earth and took them away pretty cool as well. It does kinda make me wonder how this will effect the universe going forward. And now we can talk about the credit scenes. The mid credit scene was the one that made me really excited with the remaining Eternals on their ship and then Pip The Troll and Starfox show up. Pip especially I found really surprising because I know who he is and it was cool to see him in live action and the same goes for Starfox. I know him as the brother of Thanos and it was cool to see him tell the other where they might be able to find the others. That was really cool to see. And then the end credit scene where we see that Dane guy look at a sword was cool too. I personally would have liked to have seen more of him in the film, but this was cool and I am curious to know who it was that spoke to him. So, yeah, the end credit scenes were really cool and they got me excited to see a few more of these characters in the future of the series. And so, yeah, that's really about it. So, yeah, like I said, it is sad that this film was a huge disappointment, but, I am still excited to see more of a few of these characters. And so, yeah, everyone, that's my review for Eternals. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

My Yuno collectible (Review)

So, guys, I was able to get another anime collectible yesterday after a while. I know I haven't gotten as many recently, but I was finally able to get another yesterday, and, this time, it was Yuno from Black Clover. Yeah, the last one I got was Asta from Black Clover too, and I was able to find the one of Yuno that comes in the same set as the Asta one I have. It was pretty lucky and I'm really glad I did. Having them together is cool and it's nice to have that set. But, really, just being able to find another Banpresto figure of one I was looking for. Hopefully I'll be able to get more and make more videos soon. But, for now, here's my review of my Yuno collectible and I hope you all like it.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage

And so, everyone, we've arrived at the latest of Sony's Spider-Man movies, Venom: Let There Be Carnage. This is the sequel to the 2018 Venom movie, which I really didn't like at all and I didn't have any faith in this film at all. Not just because the first one was bad, but also because the trailers didn't look good at all just like the first one as well. And I actually did see this the day of it's release over here. So, really, overall, was this an improvement at all? No, it really, really wasn't. I don't know if it was better or worse than the first, but I'd say they're about on the same level. Both are just really, really bad. Also, I am gonna do a spoiler review from the beginning because, for one, I don't think you should see this and it's really the only way I can talk about this properly. So, what's the story? Eddie is visiting Cletus Kasady in prison frequently and he's giving him info on some crimes which leads to Cletus meeting again and Venom attacks him briefly which makes Cletus bite Eddie only for a bit of the Symbiote to go inside his body and he becomes Carnage, now they're both looking for Eddie and Venom as well as Cletus's girlfriend, Shriek. Also, Eddie and Venom are having a bit of a falling out. So, yeah, if that small description should tell you anything, it's that this is a very, very generic movie. The very plot of the film is very basic and has so many parts that are so predictable. So, really, the first big thing I noticed that was wrong with this movie was the structuring of the scenes and the editing. The way the movie leads into a scene and keeps going in a scene is very weird. I'm not 100% sure how to explain it, but the way the scene plays out and is kinda dropped into the film is just really weird and a lot of that may have to do with the editing. That was the first thing I noticed when watching it. The pacing as well is really bad. A lot of the film is spent of really generic character drama or drawn out jokes. They tried to make Venom really, really funny in this and they go way overboard with it. He's basically a walking joke the whole movie and, because of that, it's kinda hard to take the film seriously. But the stuff with the characters themselves doesn't help either because I really wasn't interested in any of them. The writing for a lot of their scenes was poorly done and the actual character arcs feel really clichéd. Like I said, there's a whole section of the movie where Eddie and Venom are having a falling out which leads to Venom leaving by fusing to some other people and this leads to a weird scene were he's attached to someone else and he's trying to talk to people at a night party. That was just weird and dumb and I really couldn't believe what I was watching. But then the conclusion of that arc was dumb because Eddie eventually has to find him and apologise and, again, it was just really dumb and clichéd and generic. As far as the performances in this, not everyone is bad here, but the majority of the performances are just really bad. I don't blame the actors for this, it's mostly just the writing's fault, but the acting in this is either really bad, over the top or just straight up cartoonish, especially Woody Harrelson as Cletus. Also, one of the biggest concerns I had going into this was Carnage's role. I know I haven't mentioned him yet, but he was the part of the movie I was most excited to see because I love the character of Carnage. He's one of the coolest Marvel villains ever in my opinion. And, I will say, the effects on him, while not perfect, are pretty cool. But I was really letdown when I realised he was really only in the movie for about ten minutes. I'm not even kidding. I think the amount of screen time Carnage himself actually got was only ten minutes at least. Also, him dying at the end is really dumb because I was hoping to see him again some time in the future, but, at the end of the climax, Venom just kills him and that was so dumb and disappointing to me. The ending as well was really badly done too. There were some creative things they do in the climax, but the majority of it was generic or not creative at all or kinda hard to make out. The fact that they have a character like Carnage in this and they did use the potential there was just annoying to me. Also, the whole plotline involving Shriek was weird. I didn't like how they did her character and the whole thing with her and Cletus being a couple and that being an integral part to the story was just really badly done. I didn't like it at all and her in the climax was generic too. Like, the whole thing with the bell wasn't that creative to me. I've seen that kinda thing with Venom a lot and it wasn't very creative to me. The film also looks kinda weird. Just from the cinematography and the way the film is shot just makes it looks weird and kinda cheap. Also, that small scene at the end when it sounds like Cletus saying all he wanted was Eddie's friendship was so badly done and so incredibly stupid. Also, while this movie is shorter than the first and isn't that long in retrospect, the bad pacing of it makes it feel so much longer than it is and that just makes the whole thing seem really boring and has a ton of moments that feel like dead air. also, there's a ton of pointless things in this that didn't need to be in this like that one policeman whole was following Eddie around. That felt really unnecessary and the whole thing with it looking like he could be a supervillain is kinda interesting, but that still felt unnecessary. Really, this film just had so many problems in it and was just really poorly made from a writing standpoint and editing as well. However, the one thing I will take  away from this was the end credit scene, which is really cool. It shows Eddie and Venom being transported into the M.C.U and seeing the M.C.U Spider-Man on TV. That was really, really awesome I already knew that because a friend of mine told me, but it was still cool to see. And, yeah, I'm really excited to see this Venom come into the M.C.U movies and interact with Tom Holland's Spider-Man. There's a lot of cool things you can do with that and I'm really excited to  see that. But, as for the movie itself overall, yeah, it's just really bad again. I didn't think this was gonna be good going in and I was right. Really, I don't think you should go see this. Just know about the end credit scene with Venom and Spider-Man and that's it. As for the movie, yeah, don't see it. It's just really bad. And so, everyone, that's my review for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

MY LET'S PLAY OF SORA IN SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE

And so, everyone, the time has finally arrived. After so many years of praying and hoping, the day has finally arrived for Sora to finally debut in Super Smash Bros. And it finally happened today. Not only that, but along with that, I also decided to make his debut to be the first Let's Play video on my YouTube channel. After a long time, I finally managed to get it to work. Mostly anyway, there are some problems, but, for the most part, I'm really happy with this. I was originally hoping to start doing Let's Plays with the Kingdom Hearts games, but after Sora was announced for Smash, I decided to start it with this. And, not only that, this is also my 1000th entry on this blog. I honestly can't believe I've really made this many. I have deleted some entries, but, now this is the 1000th one with all the other ones all together. I was originally hoping to make it something else, but that ended up not happening, but I'm glad something like this is it instead. Really, just having Sora in Smash be the 1000th entry and me doing a Let's Play of it is really cool to me. And, yeah, thank you all for helping me get this far and I look forward to making more soon. And so, here it is I hope you all like it.

My Asta collectible (Review)

So, I know I've been getting these collectibles for anime characters a bit slowing than before, but I'm still trying to get them as much as I can. And, recently, I was able to get one for Asta from Black Clover. Not that I'm the biggest fan of Black Clover itself or Asta himself, but I don't hate him or anything and he does have some cool moments. Plus, I do believe he has a really cool design. And I was glad to have found a collectible of him on eBay for a good price. Although, the one I actually got has this kinda weird yellow-ish tint on him which is a little odd, but it's still great to have him and have another anime protagonist as a collectible. I mainly want to focus on that in particular for a while. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

Anime t-shirt collection

So, this is a relatively small thing I did yesterday on my YouTube channel, but, really wanted to show it here because I liked the idea. I did a small video showing my different anime t-shirts. I just had the idea the other day and since I'm trying to talk about anime a lot more on my channel, it just seemed fun to do. So, yeah, not really anything super out of the ordinary with this, but I do have a whole bunch of these and even ones for shows I've seen but not mentioned on here yet before. The thumbnail might not look like much but the photo was taken a while back so I've gotten more since then and I wanted to show them all here as well as talk about some ideas I have for more really soon. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

My Android 18 collectible (Review)

So, I'm back to getting more Dragon Ball collectibles. I actually haven't gotten one since April and I was finally able to get another yesterday with getting one for Android 18. It took me a while to get her but I finally did. And, in terms of me trying to get the competitors of Team Universe 7 from the Tournament Of Power, the only two left for me to get are Krillin and Tien. Hopefully I'll be getting them soon, but, for now, I'm happy to have gotten another one of the characters and adding them to the collection and so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

Anime merchandise collection

So, I may have mentioned last year at some point that I was hoping to sorta do this thing I thought of where I would collect one thing from an anime I like that I could wear and then have them all together in one big cosplay. And, so, I did. I got a whole bunch of things last year for it along with some other things I had been getting for year and put them together. I'm still doing it, but I'm really happy with how it's going so far and I'm really excited for the other things I could be getting for it soon. I explain everything and what they are in the video and I was really happy with the way both the cosplay and the video themselves turned out. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings

So, guys, now after Black Widow, we're back with another M.C.U movie and honestly one I was really excited for as the release date got closer, Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. I remember not being particularly excited for this when it was first announced, but, recently, with the new trailers and the reception I've been hearing it's getting, it just built my anticipation for this more and more. And so, in the end, I gotta say, this is probably my favourite standalone M.C.U movie since Black Panther. I loved so much about this film. Like I said, I wasn't that excited for this for a while until fairly recently, but it pretty much exceeded my expectations. I had a really, really great time with this film. And, again, like always, I'll be going with no spoilers for first part and then have a spoiler section later. And so, what's the story? We're following a guy named Shang-Chi, played by Simu Liu, in San Francisco with him trying to live a normal life but he's then attacked by a group of people who were sent by his dad who's looking for him because he left their home. So, after he's attacked, he tries to find out what his dad's up to and stop him. So, immediately, one of the biggest things I loved the most about this was the cast. This is probably my favourite ensemble of cast in a solo Marvel movie we've seen in a few years. I absolutely loved Simu Liu as Shang-Chi himself. He's super fun, super likeable, super funny and is a very charismatic actor. I thought he did a phenomenal job. Awkwafina's in this as his friend from San Francisco named Katy and she's really funny as well and likeable, and the rest of the cast do just as phenomenal a job as them. The film is also fantastically directed. This was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton who did a great job with this. The cinematography is really gorgeous in this and the locations are really great to see. The film's also really funny. It has really laugh out loud moments and it's has a great way of telling its story as well with great flashbacks so you understand everyone's motivations. But, really, I think the best part of this film was the action. This has probably my favourite action scenes in any M.C.U movie. With a movie like this, they were gonna need to find someone who could do incredible action scenes considering these characters are all about martial arts and Destin Daniel Cretton did an unbelievably fantastic job with these action scenes. There's the scene on the bus that we saw in the trailers that was so much fun to watch and was perfectly shot and edited and the cinematography in that scene was incredible. But I think my favourite fight scene was with Shang on the outside of a building fighting a whole bunch of guys on a scaffolding and he's fighting them as he's making his way down. The cinematography and the choreography in that scene was so incredible, especially the part when he fights one guy with knives inside the building. Also, this film has one really insane climax. I know we've had a bunch of crazy M.C.U climaxes before, but the climax to this film is absolutely bonkers and I loved it. I'm obviously not spoiling it here, but it's an absolutely insane final battle that I didn't even expect. But, even beyond the insanity of it, it is just a really exciting finale and it has some of the best visuals in the M.C.U. There's also a nice variety of action as well as a bunch of interesting and creative things in the scenes too. Also, I just really enjoyed the journey of the whole films. Like I said, they do a bunch of different things to show the pasts of all these characters and it made a lot of them all the more likeable. It also made some things that happen all the more tragic towards the end. As far as the villains in the film, we already knew the Mandarin was gonna be in this properly and, while he's not one of the better M.C.U villains ever, he does have a better motivation than some of the others. Plus, Tony Chiu-Wai Leung did a fantastic job with the performance. I will say, there are some things about his character that're a little odd, but I'll get into that in the spoiler section. And, as far as connections to other things in the M.C.U, there's not a ton. There's some mentions here and there as well as when we see Wong and Abomination like we saw in the trailers, plus there's the mid credit scene, but aside from that's there's not really anything, which is cool. I like how they don't need to have these huge films that's connected to the other films that much and is still its own thing. I really like a lot of that about this. There's also a character who appears in this that was really funny and cool to see, but, again, I won't spoil it. There's also a good amount of twists in this I didn't expect. Aside from the ending that I already mentioned, there are some surprises in this I didn't expect and I loved that about this. as far as any negatives I have with the film, there aren't many but I think the only one I might have is that the pacing at the start was maybe a bit too fast. The pacing in the rest of the film is really well done, but I do feel like its opening was a little too fast when Shang is in San Francisco and I may have wanted a bit more time there, but that's really about it. Overall, I absolutely loved this film. It's, in my opinion, one of the best solo M.C.U movies and one of the best in the past few years. I can't wait to see it again and see more of these characters in this universe. And, so, everyone, those are my thoughts on Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think. All right, we're going into the spoilers now. If you don't want it spoiled, go see the film then come back here.

Spoilers:

All right, I guess the first big spoiler is when it's revealed that Shang has a sister and that's the person with the other pendant that his dad was looking for. I really enjoyed the scene in that fight club. It was funny and it was cool to see Wong and Abomination there. Though, I am curious how Abomination looks different now. And, I liked when they went to the Mandarin's home and we learn more about their history with Shang and his sister. Also, on that, the part about the Mandarin that I found weird was when it revealed he wants to invade his wife's home because he believes they have her behind some gate or something. I found that weird for a few reasons. One, he saw his wife die before so I'm not sure why he'd think that, and also the whole thing of him hearing her voice was strange. I know it's because of the rings and the creatures were trying to trick him, but something about that didn't click with me. But, I did appreciate that he had a better motivation than other M.C.U villains. Anyway, I loved the flashbacks where we see Shang and his sister as kids and we learn their history. I think my favourite part from that though was the fight in the restaurant. It was just another fantastically choregraphed fight. Also, the big character who I was talking about that I didn't expect was Trevor. I guess I sorta had a feeling he's return because of that All Hail The King short, but it was surprising to see him but I loved seeing him again and he was hilarious and Ben Kingsley did a fantastic job with him. And, on the final battle I was mentioning, I found it crazy when we got to see a whole bunch of dragons around the place and Shang is fighting his dad. Plus, I didn't expect to see his dad get killed by that dragon. I really did think Shang himself was gonna do it. Also, I'm pretty sure they reference Dragon Ball when Shang has all the rings and he makes some energy orb with them. I'm pretty sure Katy herself mentioned that too. Speaking of, it was cool that she helped bring down that final dragon with an arrow. And then the ending was nice with them back in San Francisco, but then it was made cooler when Wong showed up and asked to speak with them. And, as the credit scenes, the first one was cool when we got to see Carol and Bruce with Wong, Shang and Katy examining the rings thinking they're sending a beacon to  something. so, that was interesting and made me wonder what exactly this could mean for the future of the M.C.U. Also, I'm wondering how Bruce turned back to normal. And, as far as the end credit scene, it was cool to see Shang's sister take over the Ten Rings headquarters. It was also cool when we see the screen say "The Ten Rings Will Return." Again, there's just so many possibilities coming from this and I'm really excited. And, I think that's everything. Really, I just had so much fun with this film and I'm so excited to see it again. And, yeah, everyone, those are all my thoughts on Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

My Tony Tony Chopper collectible (Review)

So, yesterday, I was able to get another collectible for One Piece again. I realise I haven't gotten one for One Piece for a few months, but I explain why in the video. But, overall, I'm super glad I was able to get another figure of a Straw Hat member. And, really, it's cool to have six members of the crew together. It was just great to find this version of Chopper online. I'm really hoping to get the rest of the crew soon and do reviews for them too. It'll be great when I do have all the members together seeing as the Straw Hats are one my favourite teams in anime history and these have all been great to get and put together like this. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer

So, everyone, it's finally come. The official trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home. This is the M.C.U trailer I wanted to see the most and I'm so glad to say this trailer has blown me away, although I do have some worries about. For one, it's showing Peter being hated by the public with them all thinking he killed Mysterio and he's now arrested and he asks Doctor Strange to help but something goes wrong and it causes a whole multiverse thing and this has so many amazing things in it. It finally confirms that the other Spider-Man movie are crossing over with this and we see some old Spider-Man movie villains and that has me so excited. Again, there are some things I'm worried about like it maybe being overstuffed and other things like that, but there's still so many other amazing things here and I think this might be the most unique M.C.U movie ever. I also did a breakdown of this trailer earlier so you can check that out if you want. But, yeah, I'm insanely excited for this. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

Eternals Final Trailer

So, the other day, we got the final trailer for the Eternals movie from Marvel. I remember thinking the first trailer was pretty cool and had some interesting moments, here though, while there are some of that too, personally, this one didn't impress me that much. It does still have some great things in it like the C.G.I and they actually do explain why these guys didn't help in other fights in history so, that was nice to see. But, some of the humour didn't work for me and some of this doesn't seem that interesting to me. Still though, it's a new M.C.U movie and it's cool that we've gotten four things from Marvel this year and we're in the middle of getting more with the What If series and then there's also the new movies and other shows still to come. And this has me really excited but there is a bit of caution in there. Still though, here it is and I hope you all like it.

My Katsuki Bakugo collectible (Review)

So, I haven't done an anime collectible review in almost a month since I got Lelouch after finishing Code Geass for the first time. And, now, I just got a new one yesterday of Kasuki Bakugo, or Kacchan, from My Hero Academia. I already have one of Deku and I'm trying to get all of Class 1A and I was really happy to find a Kacchan one on eBay for a good price and so hopefully I'll get more of them soon. It'll be really cool to have them all together. I mention how I know not all of Class 1A has been made into collectibles yet, but still. But, yeah, I'm still incredibly glad to have gotten him and so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

The Suicide Squad

So, everyone, we've made it to the newest DC.E.U movie and James Gunn's newest film, The Suicide Squad. I remember seeing the trailers for this and thinking that this could be a really fun time. I can't exactly remember them getting me super excited for the film, I only really getting really excited as the release date was getting closer and I was able to see it on the 2nd of August. And, I'm so happy to say that I loved this film. It's easily my favourite DC.E.U movie and is the one I had the most fun with while watching. The main thing I loved was James Gunn's style. If you've seen any of his films, especially the two Guardians Of The Galaxy movies, you can see his style very easily. And, just experiencing his vision on here like this was so much fun for me. Also, like always, I'll go no spoilers for the first part and then all the spoilers afterwards. So, what's the story? We're featured some new and old characters from the first Suicide Squad movie and Amada Waller is tasking Bloodsport, played by Idris Elba, Peacemaker, played by John Cena and some other characters on a mission while still threatening to kill them if they disobey orders. So, immediately, the thing I loved the most about this was the cast and comedy. It's a James Gunn movie, so obviously this film is absolutely hilarious. There are so many laugh out loud moments and some jokes that I didn't even expect would be in this. And the cast is pretty much perfect. The two that I loved the most were Idris Elba as Bloodsport and John Cena as Peacemaker. They're both perfect as these characters and they play off each other really well. But the rest are great too, especially Sylvester Stallone as King Shark who's probably the most likeable character in the whole movie. It was also great to see Margot Robbie return as Harley Quinn and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag. I thought they were both really good in the first film and they do great here too. I mentioned to a friend of mine that I feel like King Shark was like an R-Rated version of Groot or something. And on that note, yeah, this film is Rated R and it's insanely effective. There's so many brutal and gruesome moments in this and I loved it. And, on that, the action is really cool. James Gunn directed all the action really well and it's kinda ridiculous but in a fun way that makes it really entertaining to watch. And, on that, easily my favourite moment in the whole movie is during a part in a jungle with Bloodsport and Peacemaker competing against each other. It was hilarious, brutal and fantastically directed. And the action all around is great. Beyond the brutality of it, it's well directed and edited and choreographed. I will admit, not that much is very memorable aside from some moments, but it's still really fun to watch. Speaking of which, the opening in this surprised me a lot. I won't spoil it, but what they do really took me off guard. Really, this is film just had the perfect tone for these characters and this premise. James Gunn knew exactly how to balance all these things to make the experience as fun as possible. This is exactly how to portray these characters and it was exploited to the fullest in the best possible way. The effects are also really good. Characters like King Shark look flawless and another character who appears at the end. The ending also just gets so crazy and bonkers towards the end but it's done so well and is a super fun climax. There were also some cameos in this I didn't expect to see at all and it was cool to see them. I'll get into that in the spoilers, but there's one person in particular that was so cool to see. I was also surprised by the twists in this. There aren't that many, but the ones that are there are pretty surprising. The film's also just looks fantastic with the cinematography and the colours. Really, this was just such a fun time for me and I'm so glad I did see this. I do have some problems with the film. The first is that some of the actual character stuff didn't really do it for me. There are times when they try to do character arcs for some characters and I didn't really like that stuff all that much, especially with Bloodsport. I will admit, this is the one thing I think the first film did do better than this. In the first film, Deadshot had a character arc with his daughter and they do the same here but I think the first film did it a bit better. It wasn't awful, it was just not that interesting, especially since they didn't really focus on it for that much of the film. The other problem is a scene with Harley. It's basically meant to be a joke at the end and it was really funny when it was revealed, but I personally didn't like what was happening to build up to that moment. But, that's about it. Overall, I absolutely loved The Suicide Squad. It was hilarious, insane, bloody and one of the most fun experiences I've had with a movie in a long time. I'm so glad they were able to get James Gunn to do this and he did a fantastic job. So, yeah, I would highly recommend this. Even if you're not interested in watching the DC.E.U, I would still say to check this out because there's some really amazing things in this. I just really loved this film and I can't wait to see it again. And so, everyone, that's my review for The Suicide Squad. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

Spoilers:

Okay, so the first big spoiler I can think of for this is that jungle scene that I mentioned was my favourite part in the film and it's when Bloodsport and Peacemaker were completing to see who could do the best kill with these people. That part was amazing and funny and really graphic. But then the reveal that they actually killed a whole bunch of freedom fighters after they saved Rick Flag was hilarious. And, as for the opening of this, I was surprised when the first group they had at the beginning all just died except for Harley and Flag. It was brutal and surprising that a lot of them died in the first five minutes, especially Captain Boomerang. I thought he was gonna be in this all the way but the fact that he just died in those first five minutes was a big shock to me. And, as far as the cameos I was talking about, the biggest one I was talking about was Taika Waititi being Ratcatcher's dad. I was really surprised when I saw him but also glad. It was so cool to see him. Speaking of Ratcatcher, I thought she was pretty good in this and I thought Daniela Melchior did a really good job as her and she did have some nice moments, especially with King Shark. I also thought it was cool when it was revealed that Starro was the villain. I know we already knew that from the trailer, but it was so cool when it was revealed. I also found the twist about the American government also being responsible for Starro being brought to Earth surprising. And, the biggest shock to me in this was when Peacemaker turned on Flag. I know he did it so there wouldn't be any chaos in America, but it was still surprising to see him and Rick fight and then see him kill Rick. That was kinda emotional and I feel like it made Rick a bit more likeable and sympathetic. Also, the one part with Harley that I didn't like that much was the part with that an who wanted to marry her. Again, yes, it did have a funny conclusion with her shooting him, but the whole segment leading up to that wasn't something I was a fan of. Though, again, the end to it was really funny. I also felt the end climax was pretty cool with the Squad defying Amada's orders and trying to stop Starro. That was pretty cool and, like I said, I felt the end climax was really insane with all of them trying to kill him. I also didn't expect to see Polka-Dot Man die but it was kinda funny in weird way that also made me feel kinda bad for him. And, I like how at the end, Ratcatcher basically has to use all her rats to kill Starro from the inside. It was also sweet at the end when Bloodsport and Harley had that small moment at the end talking about Flag. Speaking of which, that part with Bloodsport shooting Peacemaker was really cool and kinda nice considering he mainly did it to save Ratcatcher. The end credit scene were cool and funny too with Peacemaker revealed to be alive and in the hospital and then we're shown that Weasel is still alive too from the opening. And, yeah, overall, again, I just had a blast with this movie and it was so much fun. I'm honestly a bit surprised by how good this was, but, then again, it was made by James Gunn, so I really shouldn't be. It was just everything I wanted it to be and so much more. And, so, yeah, again, I just feel like this is a movie you should definitely see. Even if you have seen it already, I still think you should see it again. I'm already hoping to see it again really soon. And so, everyone, that's my review of The Suicide Squad. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

My Lelouch Vi Britannia collectible (Review)

So, recently, I got another new anime collectible and this time, it was one for Lelouch Vi Britannia. I recently did a review for Code Geass and I said I really enjoyed it. And so, it was lucky for me to find a Banpresto collectible of Lelouch himself when I was searching. It was super cheap and I was just glad to get a figure of a character from an anime I finished recently. And, like I'm always saying, I'm hoping to get more soon so hopefully I'll have more of these reviews up soon. Also, I made this review before making my YouTube video review of Code Geass so if you're kinda confused as to some of the things I say, that's why. Anyway, here it is and I hope you all like this.

Code Geass: Lelouch Of The Rebellion (Anime Review)

All right, guys, so, going back to my new anime reviews is the one I've finished most recently, Code Geass. I'd been hearing about this one a lot. It's my brother's favourite anime and I knew it was hailed as a great show. So all this made me really curious to see it. I even mentioned before about how it was an anime I hoped to start at some point. So, a few months ago, I finally managed to get started on it with my brother's DVDs of it and then after a while, I got my own Blu-Ray of the whole show and finished it. And, in the end, I don't think I loved it the same way everyone else does, but I thought this was a really great show. I'm honestly surprised by how much I like this, but there was so much great stuff in it that I loved. Also, like always, this will have all the spoilers, so be prepared for all the spoilers in this. So, the plot centers around a guy named Lelouch Vi Britannia who's part of a royal family who have subjugated all of Japan. His family also has a huge empire that use giant mechs called Nightmares. This is something Lelouch hates and wants to do something about it, especially to make a better world for his younger sister, Nunnally. But then, one day, he encounters a girl named C.C who gives him a power in his eye called the Geass which can be used to make anyone he looks in the eye do whatever he says. After this, he decides to start a rebellion called the Black Knights with other people who want to free Japan and he wears a mask calling himself Zero. He's having to deal with the fact that his best friend, Suzaku, is now a member of the empire and is fighting against him, and I'm gonna stop there. So, the beginning of the series has a really great set up because it introduces this world and these characters really well while also leaving a ton of things open as questions because it just leaves us curious to know so much. I also liked how this reminds me a bit of something like Death Note but it still feels unique in its own way. And a big part of me liking this were the characters. I really liked so many of them. Some of them aren't that memorable, but the majority of them are, especially Lelouch himself. It's really interesting the way his character is set up and then presented with being in the position he is, but also being incredibly intelligent and manipulative, but in a good way, not like someone like Light. But he's also so well written in so many ways with being this guy who's trying to take down an empire while also trying to keep his identity a secret while also having to deceive everyone around him and having to deal with a whole bunch of stuff in school and other things like that. Another character I really like is Kallen. This girl who's part of the Black Knights who's one of the first people trying to fight against the Britannia empire as well along with some other people like Ohgi with Nightmares of their own and she's eventually thrown through a whole bunch other dilemmas herself. But I also love how the first part of this series goes because it keeps going with Lelouch and the Black Knights trying to free as much of Japan as possible by fighting different factions of the empire's army. But there's a lot more to it considering there's a whole bunch of different twists in this like when C.C returns and sorta acts as like a small guide for Lelouch and teaches him different about the Geass. There's also a whole bunch of other crazy things that happen like when Lelouch is forced to use the Geass to erase the memory of a girl named Shirley who had a crush on him after she realises he's Zero and has done some kinda bad things. But that part actually leads to a pretty cool part with a guy named Mao who also has a Geass in both his eyes who has an obsession with C.C. We also learn that he can't turn his Geass off and his has the ability to read people's minds but it eventually evolved to the point where he couldn't turn it off and it drove him insane. And there's an incredible scene where Mao kidnaps Nunally and he challenges Lelouch to a chess match and every wrong move Lelouch makes means Nunally will die. And what makes it worse is that Mao can read his mind. So Lelouch gets the idea to use the Geass on himself to make him forget a plan he made with Suzaku so he couldn't read his mind about it. That was a fantastic scene and then Mao is then killed by C.C. But Mao's Geass not being able to be turned off eventually leads to something else happening. Anyway, from that point, we get a bunch of other crazy stories like when Lelouch, Suzaku, Kallen and Lelouch's other sister named Euphemia somehow appear on an island during a fight with all their Nightmares after Lelouch tries to use his Geass on Suzaku to live. And Euphemia is like Lelouch in the sense that she wants peace with everyone too but without violence and she serves as like a bright spot in this world until eventually something happens with her later on, but we'll get to that soon. Lelouch has also gotten a reputation for himself as well as added more people to the Black Knights with so many people respecting him as Zero and just having a lot of people on his side. And all this builds up to a point where Lelouch agrees to go to an assembly arranged by Euphemia called the Specially Administrated Zone Of Japan where Euphemia hopes to unite the people from Japan and Britannia together in peace. And Lelouch appears Zero because Euphemia knows it's him and asks him to come as a way to unite everyone. I already knew what was gonna happen at this point which made the eventual scene that follows all the tougher to watch and that more horrifying. It's the scene where Lelouch accidently uses the Geass on Euphemia when he's joking about her killing all the Japanese people and this happens when he begins to experience signs of not being able to turn his Geass off and so the next scene is absolutely terrifying when Euphemia then just starts killing every single Japanese person she can find with the other Britannian soldiers doing the same with no one having any idea what's going on. And it's made all the sadder when Lelouch is eventually forced to kill her. And this makes it worse when Suzaku sees this who'd fallen in love with her and so this makes him even angrier at him. And this is when we're introduced to V.V, who knows C.C. And, again, a whole bunch of stuff happens here like when Lelouch plans to create a new country called the United States Of Japan, Villetta almost kills Ohgi and V.V kidnapping Nunally which leads to Lelouch abandoning the Black Knights to try to save her. And this is all happening while everyone's still fighting Britannia and Suzaku is trying to get revenge for Lelouch killing Euphemia. But then Lelouch, Suzaku and Kallen go to the island they were at before where both Kallen and Suzaku find out who he is as Zero and the first season ends with both of them just aiming their guns at each other. It's totally insane with what happens here, but this first season is really great. It has ingenious writing and fantastic ideas. There's so many scenes where these characters have to use their wits to outsmart each other and it's done really effectively because of just how intelligent all these characters are. And every episode usually ends with you wanting to learn more and know what's gonna happen next because a lot of the endings have cliffhangers that leave you wanting to now what's gonna happen. And a lot of these action scenes are awesome, especially the fights with the Nightmares because a lot of these mechs move super fast with insane movements and weapons that it's really fun to watch. And, really, just a lot of the character stuff itself I did find really interesting like Lelouch at his school and him as Zero talking to everyone in the Black Knights and other characters got great moments too like Kallen, Ohgi and other ones. The one I can mainly think who was kinda annoying was Suzaku. But, I think that was the point. He's the one fighting against Lelouch so it makes sense that you're supposed to be rooting against him. But still, they do try to help us understand him and he's not really an unlikeable character. And then the next season starts and leaves us with even more questions because we're introduced to Lelouch again but he doesn't have any memory of anything and he now somehow has a younger brother named Rolo. This whole part left me really curious as to what was happening and then it's later revealed that Suzaku actually took Lelouch at the end of the last season to Lelouch's dad named Charles Zi Britannia, who's pretty much the main villain of the whole show, who also has a Geass power and he erased Lelouch's memory and made him forget everything and made him think he was in a fake reality and with fake memories of a brother named Rolo he never had. But then, eventually, C.C and the Black Knights are able to bring his memories back with Rolo as well who also has a Geass that allows him to stop time for a few seconds. But then they get back to work with trying to stop the empire while Lelouch finds out Nunally is with his family and now he wants to save her while she's also planning to recreate the Specially Administrated Zone Of Japan and there's a great moment that comes from this too because Lelouch is able to get himself as Zero exiled from Japan but then he managed to get everyone dressed up as Zero which means they're all exiled and are able to leave however they want. Again, just small things like that that're really clever are what made me like this show a lot. And then we get more Nightmare battles in the next few episodes are the story is progressing and other small things happen too like when Lelouch and the other Black Knights kidnap the Chinese Empress as a hostage. And, there's still a lot of sad or heartbreaking moments her like when a weapon Nina created kills dozens of people or when it looks like Nunally gets killed or when Rolo kills Shirley. And you can tell that this is all pushing Lelouch more and more until it looks like he can't take it anymore and you can really sympathise with him and see where he's going. It's just really great storytelling and it doesn't really let up from there because we get a whole lot more stuff with Kallen getting kidnapped and C.C is revealed to be some girl from somewhere who was unloved and wanted to be loved by people which gave her powers and other things which eventually leads to her previous mind coming back and she's scared of everything again but then her memories of the show come back. I did find that part kinda weird and not very necessary it does serve a bit of a purpose with Lelouch trying to take care of her, but still. But you can also tell Lelouch is being pushed towards almost becoming a villain himself with him going through so much and eventually this leads to him confronting Charles and finding out the truth, especially about his mother who he thought was dead but was actually in the body of a girl. I didn't see that coming at all and there's just a whole bunch of revelations happening at this point but eventually, Lelouch is able to kill both his parents who were planning to rule everything. But then, to make things worse, one of Lelouch's brothers reveals his identity as Zero to all the Black Knights and convinces them that they're all under Lelouch's Geass. And this is all leading to something. I like how you can tell something is clearly being planned by someone but you don't know what's gonna happen. I also like how even at this point, the characters still use really clever schemes like there's a point where Lelouch is able to use his Geass on one of his brothers and just the way he does it is super clever. But Lelouch then sorta makes it look like he's gonna be like his dad and be a ruthless leader and takes his place with now fighting against the Black Knights and learning Nunally is still alive. And the eventual ending is sad too where Lelouch makes it look like he's gonna take the Black Knights to be executed but then he has Suzaku agree to dress up as Zero and kill him in front of everyone as a way to unite the world against a single enemy and then free the world. It's pretty sad seeing him sacrifice himself like this with everyone thinking he's still a bad guy. Though I guess it is nice at least when Nunally finds out what he was trying to do and understands him. And I think Kallen does as well. I'm not sure if that's confirmed, but I think she does. But, yeah, overall, this is really fantastic way to end the series. And, as a whole, this was a really, really fantastic show all around. I originally started watching this series back in 2018 but it didn't interest me all that much, but I decided to try it again a few months ago and I'm so glad I did because this was just a really great series overall. It might actually be one of my favourite anime's now. It just has so much good stuff in it, the characters are very complex and interesting, the plot moves at a great pace with fantastic twists in it along with some really heart wrenching scenes and its action scenes are incredibly well animated. Speaking of which, the animation as well is absolutely gorgeous. This was done by Studio Sunrise and they did a great job with this. I will say, sometimes the way the characters themselves move does look a little strange, but it's still really unique and it's not distracting in any way. The dubbing is also absolutely incredible, especially Johnny Yong Bosh as Lelouch himself. I mean, when you get Johnny Yong Bosh in an anime, you know you're gonna get a fantastic performance and he does do an amazing job here. And the rest are great to like Yuri Lowenthal as Suzaku and Karen Strassman as Kallen. I did have a couple of problems in this like there are some episodes could be considered filler and there are some plot points that feel like they could be removed and the story wouldn't feel like it would change much at all. But none of that is a detriment to the quality of the show. It's still really compelling and keeps you invested in its story. But, yeah, overall, I'm super glad I watched this series and I hope to watch it again soon. So, yeah, I highly recommend checking this out. It's a really fantastic series and it's also a great series to binge watch. So, yeah, everyone, that's my review for Code Geass: Lelouch Of The Rebellion. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.
