Monsters vs. Aliens

Monsters vs. Aliens. How can you go wrong with a title like that? Well you don't unless you can satisfy the audience you're hoping. And it's really does pay off here. There's funny scenes and like Bee movie, a lot of these joke really do hit bulls eyes. Actually, about 99.99% of these jokes do hit the mark. The characters are all memorable. They're fun, funny and I guess they are also a bit innocent. What the story? We have a woman named "Susan." She about to get married but through a tragic accident which involves a meteor hitting her. She transforms into a giant. So she kidnapped by the government to be used as a soldier. They put her in with the other monsters who are brought in to also be soldiers. There's a fish man called the "Missing Link", a cockroach scientist named "Doctor Cockroach  P.H.D", a blue blob with one eye named B.O.B, who I'm just going to say is my favourite character. And a gigantic monster called the "Insectosaurous." The government keeps them there in case a threat comes. What a shock, a threat comes to Earth. So the president tells them to send in their best men... or monsters. The monsters fight a giant robot alien and manage to destroy it. But now the main villain tries to get Susan to get what's inside her that makes her giant. And of course the ending is awesome. I would say the heart of the movie does come from Susan. There times in the film where you feel really sorry for her. Her boyfriend turns out to be a jerk, her family is scared of her now that she's a giant even though she wouldn't hurt anyone and now the government wants to use her as a weapon for destruction even though she has no training what so ever. The comedy of the movie comes from B.O.B who just kills me every time I watch him. The other characters are funny too but probably not as funny as B.O.B. Though I would say that the one down side of the movie is some of the C.G.I. Yeah, sometimes the animation on some of the humans is a little odd. Though that's just a tiny complaint so it's not flawed that much. I would also say the villain is pretty funny at some scenes too. So I would say that Monsters Vs. Aliens wouldn't be a 100% strong film but there's funny scenes and characters and it is interesting and well it is awkward it is also enjoyable. So I would say it is worth watching.
