2016 recap and 2017 look ahead
So seeing how it's New Year's Eve and it's close to 2017, I thought it would be a good idea to recap this year and talk about some things about next year. First off, and you're all probably going to be really angry at me when I say this, but I actually think this year has been fantastic for me. This year has been universally hated by almost everyone, and I do understand, there were a lot of things this year that were bad, but for me, this might of been one of the best years of my life. This might have been my best movie year ever with movies like Deadpool, Civil War, Zootropolis, Moana, Doctor Strange, X-Men: Apocalypse (which I still love, I'm sorry if you hate it but I love that movie) and Kung Fu Panda 3. There was also the great games this year like Kingdom Hearts: Union X and the Lion Guard and this was also my best year for my blog. So far, this year, I've put out my best content and this is the year when I've put out the most content. But even outside of that, my life has been really great this year. I've also been really proud of what I've been doing. And I'm really looking forward to 2017 because so much is going to happen. In my own life, I'm entering my leaving cert, which is my last year of secondary school and then the year after that I'm going to college, which is really exciting for me. And, and I know this is probably too much info and is too far considering it's in two years but I just want to say anyway, I'm actually moving to London for college with my family and in case anyone is wondering, what I'm going to college for and what I'm hoping to be when I grow up is actually an actor. Yeah, I want to be an actor when I grow up and maybe be a director too. I just thought I'd say that in case anyone was wondering. I go over to London sometimes to see my dad who works there and in 2018 I'll be moving over there. But anyway, next year is being really hyped up for a lot of people. Especially given how so many huge movies are coming out like Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Logan, Wonder Woman, Justice League and Star Wars: Episode VIII. Also a lot of games like Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and a lot of TV shows like Iron Fist, Defenders, Lion Guard: Season 2, SpongeBob Squarepants: Season 11 and some others. I also have a lot of entries planned for 2017 like reviews for all of those I'm doing something new for the reviews and I also have some other ideas I can't wait to share with all of you. And I'm especially really excited for that entry where I show all of you my collections and belongings and some other things. Overall, I'm really looking forward to 2017, I know that it will be great and I think this year was the fastest going year of my life, I mean this year has gone by so fast. I can remember the New Years Eve from last year like it was yesterday. And I'm happy for this year. I got to see new things and I did new things on my blog like the paintings and I saw whole new TV shows that I'm loving like the Lion Guard. And everyone, that's my 2016 recap and 2017 look ahead. And this was also my 499th entry, which means my next one is my 500th and you all know what that's going to be. I am so excited to do my last Daniel Danger story and I hope all of you are too. I hope you all like it and I hope you all think it's good. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think of this and please tell me what you thought of this year and are you excited for 2017, I'd love to know and a happy New Year to everyone.

My top 5 optional bosses in Kingdom Hearts
As you can tell, I'm doing a lot of Kingdom Hearts entries including countdowns. And I'm having great fun doing these. With each one of these we're getting closer to the 500th entry and you all already know what that's going to be. And so, let's continuing with my countdown of my top 5 optional bosses in the series. Kingdom Hearts has a lot of these and optional bosses are bosses that you can choose to fight and if you win, you get something cool. So, let's begin.
5. Vanitas's Lingering Spirit:
Staring us off is Vantitas's Lingering Spirit. In my opinion, one of the hardest boss ever. He can just hit you once and you'd be dead. And he's also really fast and really hard to hit him and avoid him. However, my brother and I actually found an easy way to beat him. As Ven the best then to do is use tornado on him a few times and that's what will finish him. So yeah, it is really hard the many times you fight him, but if you do that, then you will most likely win.
4. Julius:
I had never actually heard of this Disney character before this but now I do. This is in Dream Drop Distance when you go to Traverse Town after the second time you go there and you go to the fountain plaza, he just comes from the sewer grate. And even after you beat him, you can keep going to the grate and fight him over and over. Even though you don't get anything afterwards. The first time you beat him, you get the Ultima Weapon.
3. Ice Titan:
Probably my favourite optional Disney boss is the Ice Titan from the Olympus Coliseum in Kingdom Hearts 1. This is a boss where it may take a while to beat. And I don't mean that in the sense that it's hard, I mean it just takes a tiny bit of time. When fighting it, you have to wait until it fires it ice bullets and you have to block them and they'll hit it back and when you hit it enough, it'll fall down for a second and you can hit it's head. And the more you go through it, the more stronger and angrier it gets and the more things it can do.
2. Kurt Zisa:
Out of every optional Heartless battle, this is my favourite. It's a really easy and fun fight. Especially given how you can juts keep hitting him and even if you die while fighting it, you can do it again like always and it's a lot of fun to keep pushing the button to make him hit it and it's a lot of fun.
And my number 1 favourite optional bosses in Kingdom Hearts is... Sephiroth:
Possibly one of the hardest bosses I've ever fought, this guy is absolutely fantastic. I've already talked about Sephiroth before like when I did my Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children review and how he's incredibly awesome and he is no push around in the fight against him with Sora. Swift attacks, long range and you die so many times. I only managed to beat him when 1.5 and 2.5 came out and I've been beating him a lot ever since then. Especially in 1.5 when you can fight him over and over and over in the coliseum. He's just an absolutely fantastic boss fight. And my favourite version is in Kingdom Hearts 2.5 when you're able to use Limit Form against him. It was so much fun. And who knows, maybe in Kingdom Hearts 3, we'll be able to fight him again and finish him off once and for all and maybe Cloud can be a partner and their home can be a world for the game. And everyone, those are my top 5 optional bosses in Kingdom Hearts. Thank you all for reading and please comment to tell me your favourite if you like Kingdom Hearts too.

My top 5 Organization XIII fights in Kingdom Hearts
Continuing my Kingdom Hearts entries, here I'm doing my top 5 boss fights against the Organisation XIII members a lot of these can be really great and fun and others can be real pains. Some of them are good, some are bad, but for now, I'm doing this. My favourite Organisation boss fights. Also these fights won't also mean who my favourite Organisation member is, just by the fights. And so, let's begin.
5. Saïx:
Starting us off is the Organisation member you fight twice in different times. The first is in Kingdom Hearts 2 at the World that Never Was and he's the last boss before Xemnas. There he's fairly difficult and you're able to use his own claymore against him. The second time is in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days when Roxas is trying to escape the castle but Saïx is at the entrance to stop him and I like this fight more. And I especially like how you can use Limit Break and attack him hard and fast.
4. Axel:
One of the more fun Organisation members, Axel is not only one of my favourite Organisation fights, but also one of my favourite members period and maybe one of my favourite characters in the whole series. And his fights are great. You have to fight him twice in Chain of Memories and three times again in Kingdom Hearts 2. Each one was incredibly fun and entertaining and it kinda showed his character a one-liner and cleaver humour guy. And it was especially fun in Kingdom Hearts 2 as Roxas with the Oblivion and Oathkeeper Keyblades.
3. Roxas:
I actually don't hear people talk about this a lot but I really like the fights with Roxas. Especially in Kingdom Hearts 2.5 in Sora's heart and then the Data Roxas. And the other time you fight him is in Re:Coded when you have to fight the other Data Roxas in Castle Oblivion to get the card he has and that was great too. And I especially like how in the fight against him in Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and you had to do this thing where Sora and Roxas charged at each other and you had to press the right button at the right time and if you got it right, you got to use the power of the Oblivion and Oathkeeper and they were next to you and they were powerful against him. That was awesome.
2. Xaldin:
Probably the hardest Organisation member to beat, Xaldin carries not one, not two, but six lances. And if that wasn't insane enough for ya, he's incredible strong, the moves he does are all really fast so you have to be careful and, oh, my god, I cannot talk enough about the Data version. Oh, man, what a brute. This was one of hardest bosses EVER. He had a lot more strength and you die over and over and over and over and over. And it was so satisfying when I finally beat him.
And my number 1 favourite Organization XIII fight in Kingdom Hearts is... Xemnas:
This is the Organisation member you fight the most times and maybe the boss in the whole series you fight the most. You have to fight this guy seven times. The first is in Kingdom Hearts 1 and he's an optional boss in Hollow Bastian. The next six are in Kingdom Hearts 2. The first is when you're fighting him alone as Sora head on. The next one is when you fight him in the amour when he's sitting down. The next is the same thing when he's in the armour and sitting down using all the Organisation's weapons. The next is when you're in a white limbo like thing as people like to say and you're fighting him in a white coat. The next is the Data version which is optional where you have to fight him twice and he's incredibly hard to beat the second time. And the last time you have to fight him is in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance as Sora. He's his last boss fight. All of them are really fun and really difficult. And when you were able to go freely and just keep him a bunch of times, I think that's when it was at it's best. And those are my top 5 Organisation XIII fights in Kingdom Hearts. Thank you all for reading and please comment to tell me what your favourite is.

My top 10 Disney bosses in Kingdom Hearts
(Before I start, I just want to say something that's completely unrelated to this. Remember when I did my top 10 favourite movies of this year and I put Suicide Squad at number 10, well, now I realise I was wrong to do that because I actually remembered the Jungle Book this year too and I shoulda put it there instead. I think the reason I didn't is because I forgot, and I think afterwards, the Jungle Book was just kinda unmemorable. But yeah, if I could redo it, I would put the Jungle Book at number 10. So let's start this off.) So, my last entry was my favourite bosses from the Kingdom Hearts series games and now here I'm doing my top 10 Disney boss fights in the whole series. From something I said in my last entry, I'm pretty sure you know what number is going to be, but I thought I should do the other nine as well. And so, let's begin.
10. Chernabog:
Starting us off is the villain from Fantasia at the End of the World. I think this really surprised people back when they first got it because it was so unexpected. I mean he was probably one of the most unpredictable characters to show up in the original Kingdom Hearts and he is also one of the hardest bosses as well. He is super strong, his abilities are unpredictable, you have to use wind on yourself the whole time, his powers are all powerful and when you finally beat him, it is so rewarding. I remember not being able to beat him on the original game but when 1.5 came out and I beat him, I was so happy. Especially given the level you have to be on, which is really high. You also have to have the right Keyblade and abilities and stock. But when you do beat him, you will be so happy to see him gone.
9. Jafar:
I actually think my favourite version of the fight with Jafar is in Kingdom Hearts 2 when he's a genie and you actually have to fight him face on. I think I heard a lot of people saying that they didn't like this fight and that it was kinda weak and kinda underwhelming, but I had a blast with this boss and it was a lot of fun to hit him in multiple places and then you had to hit his head to finish him off. And it was a great way to keep hearing the Disney boss theme, the Encounter. Since Kingdom Hearts 2 and after, we got an amazing theme for the Disney bosses. Listen.
And hearing that while fighting all the Disney bosses, especially in Kingdom Hearts 2 is really awesome and really fun.
8. Scar:
This fight was awesome. Right after you beat the Hyenas inside Pride Rock, you have to go to the top of it and fight Scar with Simba and it is insane. He has all sorts of Darkness power and you have to beat him hard. It's especially fun when you can team up with Simba to do a Limit attack and you can just rail on him. And the end is cool as well when you finally do beat.
7. Maleficent:
This is one of the most intense fights in the whole series. You have to fight Maleficent seven times in the entire series. The first is when she's normal in Hollow Bastian in that huge hall and when you beat her there, you have to fight her as a dragon in that huge round room. After that you have to fight her twice in Chain of Memories in dragon form as Sora and Riku. After that you have to fight her twice again as in normal and dragon form as Ven and Aqua and the last one is in Re:Coded and you fight her in dragon form again. And all the times is so fun and annoying too. It's kinda hard to explain. It's just because she's really strong you die over and over until you finally beat her. Especially in the original Kingdom Hearts.
6. Shan-Yu:
This is a boss that has one of my favourite things to do in boss fights and that is that he's in your weight class so it feels so much more satisfying when you're just hitting him over and over. It is awesome. And you can also attack his bird as well because it's attacking you too. And especially if you have a lot of strength, it's a lot of fun to just keep hitting this guy. He's also just a dark, evil and really cool villain, especially seeing how he doesn't say much.
5. Oogie Boogie:
This was probably my favourite fight in all of Kingdom Hearts 2 up to this point when I first played it. I also have a bad memory of him being really hard to beat in Kingdom Hearts 1 because I didn't know how to beat him. But thankfully I figured it out. In Kingdom Hearts 1 you have to get the dice and make the railing around him to go down and the platform you're standing on to rise and then you're able to hit him as much as you can. Thankfully the fight against him in Kingdom Hearts 2 is a lot better where he's sending these crates towards you but you can knock them up to destroy the platform he's standing on and that's when you can keep hitting him until he's completely beaten.
4. Captain Hook:
One of the most comedic boss fights in the series, Captain Hook is already a super funny villain and he's really humorous in this fight too. And it's great how he summons Heartless to help him in the original game because it helps with level ups during the battle. I think the original fight is my favourite. The other time you have to fight him is in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep as Ven. And that was good too but I personally prefer the original fight the most. With his hilarious dialogue and great fighting, Captain Hook is at number 4.
3. Barbossa:
One of the more underrated bosses I think, Barbossa is a boss fight I really had a great time fighting. You can only attack him when he's in the moonlight and he has Heartless with him that can darken the whole place. And when you are able to beat it's fun how you can use your Keyblade in different ways. Especially in the reaction command attacks when you team up with Jack to attack him and that is so awesome.
2. Rinzler:
I already explained this fight yesterday but I still stand by the fact that this is probably one of the most touching fights in the entire series given how Sora doesn't want to fight one of his own friends but he realises that he has to and the fight itself is very difficult at first but is really fun overall. Read the post from yesterday to know my full thoughts.
Honourable mentions:
Lucifer,
Pete,
Hades,
Clayton
Dishonourable mention:
Ursula
And my number 1 favourite Disney boss in Kingdom Hearts is... the M.C.P and Sark:
Same with the last one, I talked about this fight yesterday when I did my favourite bosses from the Kingdom Hearts series games and again if you want to know my thoughts on it, just read it there. Overall, it's a fantastic fight and having to listen to the Encounter while doing it is amazing and so incredible. And yeah, those are my top 10 Disney bosses in Kingdom Hearts. Thank you all for reading and please comment to tell me what your favourite is if you like Kingdom Hearts like me.
