The SpongeBob Sqarepants movie

Remember how I said I was going to do reviews for the two SpongeBob movies and now I'm going to start with the first one that came out in 2004. What's the story? In the Bikini Bottom Mr Krabs is opening a Krusty Krab 2 and SpongeBob is hoping he'll get the manager job but Mr Krabs gives it to Squidward. SpongeBob goes off sad. Plankton also has a new plan to steal the Krabby Patty formula. He steals king Neptune's crown and frames Mr Krabs for it. The next day Neptune, with his kind hearted, teenaged mermaid daughter, "Mindy," go to the Krusty Krab 2 to kill Mr Krabs for the theft. He tries to tell him that he didn't do it but then someone calls him saying thanks for sending the crown and he sent it to a place called "Shell City" but it's just Plankton saying it and he sent it to Shell City. Neptune is about to kill Mr Krabs but SpongeBob comes and stops him saying if he spares Mr Krabs' life, he'll go to Shell City and get the crown back. Neptune agrees but freezes Mr Krabs and Patrick comes with him. And the rest you already know or you can guess very easily. So what's good about this film? Well the story is really creative and the characters are still great. And the animation is also nice looking. And another thing I love about this film is how they manage to cross hand-drawn animation with live-action and it looks amazing, especially the climax between SpongeBob, Patrick against "Dennis the Hit man" on top of David Hasselhoff. It's great. Overall The SpongeBob Sqarepants movie is an amazing movie from start to finish with great jokes, great writing, great animation, great characters and great voice acting.
