My top 5 Fresh Prince of Bel-Air episodes

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is a '90's sitcom tv series that stared Will Smith as himself moving to Bel-Air to his uncle and aunt's house. His uncle's name is Philip, his aunt's name is Vivian and he has three cousins, Carlton, Hilary and Ashley. They also have a butler named Geoffrey. Will is trying to get a head start in life and the episodes mostly concise of some weird situation happening that Will is the cause of and the rest is just some really funny stuff happening throughout the rest. So now I 'm going to call out my top 5 favourite episodes right now.
5. Deck the Halls: Yeah, I'm starting the list with a Christmas themed episode. But I can't help it. This is a good episode. Realising that they never really celebrate Christmas, Will decides to decorate the house his own way and both him and Ashley decorate but everyone is angry because they've put up a bunch of lights and things like that and they want them to take them down. I'd say the reason I put this here is because it is full of happy Christmas spirit that does make you want to constantly watch it during the Christmas holidays. And the resolution of the episode is very satisfying and you feel something for it.
4. Courting Disasters: In this episode Will joins the school basketball team and he's fantastic at it. During the first game, he's able to do it all by himself and Carlton gets jealous. And the rest is just the next match and it failing for them at the end. Not only is this episode funny, but it also has some of the best characters in the show like Coach Smiley, Jazz and actually the team themselves are funny and likeable. They're very unique, very funny and they all get good lines to say. But on top of that, there's also another really good scene at the end game with Philip talking to Carlton and Will. The acting in this scene is very good especially from the person who plays Philip.
3. Knowledge is Power: By far, this is easily one of the funniest episodes in the show. After finding out that Hilary dropped out of school for 3 months, Will and Carlton blackmail her to do everything they say or else they'll tell Philip and Vivian. Just from that small simple plot this episode takes advantage of everything great you can do with something like this if you know what I mean. So yeah, the funniest part in this in my opinion is when Will and Carlton keep doing telling Hilary what to do. Just there, it just makes you laugh super hard. And, of course, the ending is how you would think it, Hilary eventually confesses when she gets fed up of all the stuff she's having to do. Yes, you can see it coming but it's done with plenty of laughs to keep it enjoyable.
2. Lucky Charm: After helping Philip's boss at golfing and financial advice, Will begins to say some things to him that also conveniently help him with his work so now he thinks Will is lucky and he gives him a job but Philip and Vivian try to tell Will that the boss man is crazy. And there's actually a great scene where Will goes to the boss's office and finds that what Philip and Vivian told him was right when they said to him that the boss took advice from his dog and when he died, he had him stuffed and put in his office. And when Will sees it, he screams and the way he screams and how they just sorta move on and never address it again has me cracking up with laughter every single time. But also the scenes where Will is accidentally giving the boss advice is also incredibly hilarious.
And my number 1 favourite Fresh Prince of Bel-Air episode is... Homeboy, Sweet Homeboy: It was actually kinda hard to decide which episode should be my number 1 choice but I thought it should be this one. In this episode one of Will's friends from Philadelphia comes for a few days named Tray. For a while, him and Will have a hilarious time, we even hear them making really funny jokes, and then when Tray and Hilary meet each other, they strangely fall in love. And then the ending is actually a very serious and sad talk between Will and Vivian. And I'm not kidding, when I first saw the ending of this episode with the talk between Will and Tray, I actually cried. I'm not kidding. I did because it reminded me of something that went down between me and my best friend. What happened? I really don't want to talk about it. But anyway, the reason this is my favourite is not only that talk with Will and Vivian, but also because there are a lot of funny things in this episode. My favourite part is when Will and Tray are alone in the sitting room and they're just telling jokes. They're funny and there's actually a joke in this I'm really nostalgic with. It's about a pizza box. That joke always makes me laugh. Watch this trailer and you'll know what I mean.
Also, I just figured this out yesterday. Tray is actually played by Don Cheadle. Don Cheadle is the guy who plays Rhodey/War Machine in the MCU. Well... after Iron Man 1. That means they both played comic book characters. Don Cheadle plays War Machine and Will Smith is playing Deadshot in this year's Suicide Squad. But on top of that, they do make Tray funny and likable and not just some jerk like we usually see in these kind of stories. So yeah, that's my favourite Fresh-Prince of Bel-Air episode. Definitely check this show out. In my opinion, it's best to get the DVD rather than online. I've got the first 2 seasons and I really like both of them. I was actually first introduced to this show a few years ago when it was released on Nickelodeon and some other TV program. If you like the show, please comment and tell me what you think and thanks for reading.
