Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow

I've decided to do reviews on the Naruto movies I've seen. I've only seen 5 movies so far. This movie, Legend of the Stone of Gelel, Naruto Shippuden: The Movie, Naruto Shippuden: Bond and The Last Naruto Movie. There are plenty more like Naruto: Guardians of the Crescent Moon Kingdom, Naruto Shippuden: The Lost Tower, Naruto Shippuden: Blood Prison and Naruto Shippuden: Road to Ninja. But these 5 are the only ones I've seen so far. I'm hoping to see the others some other time and hopefully on DVD. And for the 5 I have seen, I'm going to do a review for them. I've never heard any reviews on these movies so I don't know I people say they're good or bad. I don't think any of them are bad but there is 1 that is confusing. Which one? Well... I'll tell you when we get to it. But for now, let's start with the first one, Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow. What's the story? It's starts off with Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke, yeah this is before Sasuke leaves, in a cinema, which I kinda find weird considering they've never gone before and they never go again and in a world like this, it's doesn't seem like there would be cinemas. Anyway, they're watching a movie with an actress named Koyuki in it. After Naruto does something stupid, of course, they get kicked out and when they do, they actually meet the person herself who they think is really being attacked but is actually shooting scenes for a new movie. Later after she tries to run off and Naruto finds and stops her, they realise that all of them, including Kakashi, are being assigned to escort Koyoki and the crew of the movie to a place called the Land of Snow. But it turns out Koyuki has been there before and Kakashi and it's revealed that the main villain of the movie is her uncle who wants to use her necklace to unlock something to get some kind of family treasure that will help him rule of many countries. When they get there, she tries to run off again but Naruto finds and stops her again. It turns out she's kind of a selfish shut in because of her past with her father dying when she was a kid. And from here, we get action, comedy and a really different kind of climax you'd see in the show. Out of all the Naruto movies from the original show, but not Shippuden, this one is probably my favourite. But to be fair, there's only 3. Anyway, the stuff that's in the show is also in here. Although, even though I can't explain it, there is something a little different about the movie that's not in the show. I don't know what it is, but I just feel like there is. So let's go over the good stuff. Well firstly, and probably my favourite part is that, I like how this is set before the time Sasuke left because I like him joining up and being on Naruto's side. Another is that, even though the story is not exactly the easiest to understand, they explain it in an easy way. And actually, I really do like the scene when they actually do get a the Land of Snow. It's very imaginative, very well animated and very executed. And while, there really isn't that much comedy, I mean there is but not "that" much, I do like the scenes where it is funny. The best funny stuff is probably in the beginning and a quick one at the end. And another thing is that I do like how this is all imaginative and inventive. When I say that, I mean, with most of the stuff we've see in the show, it was mostly based on the stuff from the Mangas, but here, it's all original. Another thing, if your going to see this, I recommend that you get it on DVD and definitely check out the special features because there's a short episode that is both incredibly hilarious and incredibly mouth dropping with some stuff that you see in it, especially one quick scene in the beginning of it. So yeah, I don't if people say this is good or bad, but personally, I think it's really, really good. And if you get the time, definitely check it out. But if you don't know the show and haven't seen it yet, check that out first. But do it you have the time.
