My Dio collectible (Review)

So, I'm definitely super late posting this again. I haven't posted anything about any new collectibles I've gotten in ages, even though the last one I posted on here was my Jolyne one and that was posted onto YouTube a year ago and so is this one. Along with getting her, I also got one for Dio. A while back, I finally managed to get ones for all the main JoJo's in the first JoJo universe and so I'll be posting them soon. Like I said, I've gotten plenty more since last year and so I'm hoping to make posts about them sooner. I know I haven't posted much lately, but I'm hoping to make up for it with the collectible videos I've been making over the last year. It was cool to get one for the main villain of the whole franchise, especially in his Stardust Crusaders appearance. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

My top 5 movies of 2023

So guys, I'm kinda late with this, but I'm here to talk about my top 5 favourite movies of 2023. 2023 was sorta similar to 2022 is the sense that I tried to see more different kinds of movies and I did end up seeing some differents types of films. A few of them didn't make it on here, but there were some that I saw that were different and really good and some that I know are really good and wanted to see like Wonka that I didn't get a chance to see yet. There's also a few different kinds of movies that are coming out this year that I'm really excited for. But, for now, I'm gonna talk about the five movies I liked the most from 2023. And so, let's get into it and I hope you all like this.
5. Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Theives:
Starting us off at number 5 is a film I never mentioned before until now, but one that I thought was a lot of fun, Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Amoung Theieves. I saw this film in April with my friend because he was curious to check this out and the premise looked fun and interesting and we both ended up really liking it. This is a film adaption of the actual Dungeons & Dragons game and it follows a group of characters in this fantasy world trying to break into a castle to steal back some stuff and save the daughter of the main character. The trailers made this seem like something that was gonna be similar to Guardians Of The Galaxy, and, in the end, that's exactly what it ended up being like. My friend and I both agreed it felt very much like Guardians Of The Galaxy and what I thought was kinda refreshing from the film was that it was a movie where you could just kinda turn your brain off because it never really takes itself seriously and that was super refreshing. It's mostly focused on telling a fun story and telling a lot of jokes and that's exactly what we get. The cast in it all do a good job at selling this obscure world that's also just meant to be a fun time and I appreciated that too.
4. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3:
Speaking of the Guardians, next up is the only M.C.U film on here and one of its highlights from the year, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3. While not everything from the M.C.U in 2023 was well liked, we did a fair amount of good content from it and Guardians 3 was definitely one of them. And, again, while not the best of the Guardians films, we still got some of the best M.C.U content from it in years. Guardians 3 gave us the darkest film from the group and we got to explore more from the characters, especially Rocket and we got some many dramatic moments as well as the same amazing James Gunn comedy you'd expect. It was also just bittersweet since it's implied that this might be the last time we see them all together like this. And Gunn did a great job sending them all in a loving way and that's what I liked the most. The fact that it felt like there was so much love put into making this as much as possible and you can really feel that from watching it.
3. The Flash:
At number 3 is probably the most underrated comic book movie in a long time, The Flash. Being the very first time we finally got a live action Flash movie, we finally got one as one of the last DC.E.U movies before James Gunn starts his own DC cinematic universe. And while this film probably wasn't as good as something like Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 and that film is probably better and better made, I think I actually enjoyed The Flash a bit more. We got to see a lot of fun and funny moments throughout the whole film and everyone in the cast does a really great job. I honestly this was the best way to do a Flash movie in the DC.E.U. I love how it played with the multiverse concept and we got some really unique action scenes as well and it was just super fun to watch from start to finish, especially by bringing back old characters like Michael Keaton's Batman and so on. I just really, really enjoyed this film and I honestly believe this could make its way into being one of my favourite comic book movies ever.
2. Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse:
Coming in close to number 1 is the best animated film from 2023, the best comic book from from the sequel to one of the best comic book films ever, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. I can only imagine how hard making a seuqel to Into The Spider-Verse must have been considering how absolutely amazing the first movie is, and while they didn't necessarily capture the same amazingness and magic as that first movie, they still did a great job with this. They managed to do the same incredibly uniqueand stunning animation, have some of the most creative action scenes ever in an animated film, fantastic cameos that felt very natural and left us off with an insanely huge cliffhanger that makes me so unbelieveably excited for Beyond The Spider-Verse. The film still has the perfect amount of heart and comedy in it that makes these movies so amazing to watch.
And my number 1 favourite movie of 2023 is... Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part
And finally at number 1 is the penultimate film in the Mission Impossible franchise and another Tom Cruise movie to be placed as my favourite movie in a row, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1. I've been a huge fan of these movies ever since 2017. I saw Fallout in 2018 and it was one of the best movies of that year and now the sequel to that came out last year and ended up as my favourite movie of the year. Ever since the fourth film, these movies have constantly impressed so many people, including me, with the jaw-dropping stunts, amazing action scenes and stories that are amazingly well thought out. I was wondering how they would top Fallout and, while I don't think this is as good as that film, they still did an amazing job with it with everyone in the cast being fantastic like Tom Cruise, Vin Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Hayley Atwell. Everyone does a great job and the characters are still super interesting. I think this film might have the best opening scene I've seen anything in a while in the airport and everything in that scene is amazing along with the car chase scene, the alleyway fight scene, the final scene on the train, just every single action scene in this is so clever, so amazingly shot and the choreography in these scenes is truely something that needs to be seen to be believed. I'm so hyped for Part 2 and that could end up being my favourite movie of this year. And all that is why Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 is my favourite movie of 2023. And so everyone, those are my picks for my top 5 movies of 2023. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think and tell me what your favourite movies of 2023 are.
