My top 5 DreamWorks movies

Like with my top 5 Disney Pixar list this one is pretty much going to be the exact same thing.
5. Antz: This was DreamWorks' first movie ever and it was defiantly impressive. I'm especially surprised that it came out first before A Bug's Life. I mean Pixar started making it before the guy left so I think it's a little bizarre that that happened. But anyway, that's not what we're talking about. What we're talking about is why I like this movie. Well while I don't think it's better than it's rival A bug's life I do think that it's impressive. Especially the C.G.I. It's the first movie and it's pretty impressive with what they could do with it and the designs of the characters. They're probably the most impressive things in this whole movie. Another reason why I like this movie is because of the complexions that it has. You would say that a lot of this is complicated and that's good. You keep guessing if this is going to happen but no something else happens and that's good.
4. Puss in Boots: This movie is hilarious. There's good characters, good animation, good twists, good comedy and a good story. A lot of this movie is really slow paced and that's good. The C.G.I in his I pretty good too and I'd say that it does have a good climax. Also I'd say that another advantage that this movie has is the fact that there good characters and good actors to play them. Though I will say that Puss doesn't use his sword a lot here. But it's not a problem with the movie though I am kind of curious about it.
3. How to Train Your Dragon: The characters in this movie are great characters. The voice actors are perfect, the story s very creative, the pacing is excellent and the design of everything is creative and cool. With Jay Baruchel as Hiccup and that's brilliant. He's very funny, likable and a bit of a nerd. The C.G.I on these characters is just great. The colours in this movie are just wonderful as well as the lighting, even if there aren't much of those things in this. There's just something about what this movie has that makes it so fantastic.
2/1. Kung Fu Panda/ Shrek: When I say this it's because I can't decide witch is better. Both have good characters, stories, twists and good cast members. Though Kung Fu Panda isn't finished yet because they are going to make a Kung Fu Panda 3. But what there is right now is very entertaining. But Also like I just said Both are so good in my mind I can't decide witch should be number 1 or 2. But the bottom line is that I think they're both equally awesome.

My top 5 Disney Pixar C.G.I movies

Like all the rest this one is for fun.
5. Cars 2: In my opinion this is one of the most underrated movies ever. Everyone says this movie is terrible but I disagree. It's one of my favourites. I like it because it's funny, emotional, memorable characters, it's colourful, it's bright, the story is easy to follow if you manage to really take the time to think about it and it has memorable moments. The stuff that works well in this movie works unbelievably well. The characters are all really good characters in this. There's also good action scenes in this. The adventure is a very good adventure.
4. The Incredibles: This movie is a really good family movie. And when I say family movie, I mean because it's based on a family. Even though it's not a "NORMAL" family if you get what I mean. I'd say the best thing about this movie are the characters. They're really good characters. Especially the designs. Brad Bird tries to make look like 3-D cartoon. Though in my opinion they look really life like. When I say that I mean they look like actual people. Brad Bird always had great designs for his animation and they show here. There's also a lot of human moments here. Like for example. Helen talks to Dash and Violet very much like how a mother would talk to her kids. I also think a lot of the situations that happen are very genuine.
3. Wreck-It Ralph: Like I've said before, this is my favourite C.G.I animated movie ever even though it's not my favourite Disney Pixar movie. But it is my favourite C.G.I animated movie. And one of the reasons is because of the characters. They're just great characters. And not to mention the areas and the colours. The colours in this movie are just wonderful. As well as the set-up. The twist in this this is really, really creative. The songs are pretty good too. The funny moments are pretty funny too. The dramatic moments are very strong.
2. Finding Nemo: This movie is a movie that people were absolutely in love with. Why? Because a lot of the time there's fantastic drama, comedy, characters, areas, colours, dialogs and adventure. The characters are fantastic characters. The drama is used brilliantly. The sea is very dramatic mysterious place, with many dangers and many allies. The adventure is fun. And it's fun being with the characters.
1. And my favourite Disney Pixar C.G.I animated movie is... The Toy Story trilogy: Yeah you all knew this had to be on the list somewhere. The stuff in this is all perfect. The story is perfect, the characters are perfect, the songs are perfect, the C.G.I is perfect, the situations are perfect, the writing is perfect. In the first one, that was a huge success they decided to keep going. I heard that the first one was supposed to be a one shot movie but it was so popular the audience wanted more. Watch this video I found recently of the making of the second Toy Story.
I can watch it forever. I just live listening to it. But also, there's just this sense to it, this atmosphere, this real likability that they've given to it and the characters that makes it so fantastic. A lot of the time it's hard to tell whether or not it's slow paced or fast paced. I mean for example in the first Toy Story everything was slow paced until the climax where it all looks fast paced. And that seems to happen with the other films too. The characters like Woody, Buzz, Slinky, Mr Potato head, Hamm, Rex, Jessie, Bullseye and Mrs Potato head they're fantastic characters. Why? Because of the voice acting they got to play these guys are perfect, the roles they take on are all entertaining to watch and listen to. There's Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz and they're absolutely perfect. They can both know what way they're to feel when doing their parts. For all these reasons and more if I even need to say anymore, the Toy Story trilogy is my all time favourite Disney Pixar movies.

My top 5 Disney villains

I really love the Disney villains so I'm going to list my top 5 favourites.
5. Jafar (Aladdin): Jafar is a cool villain. He the voice actor who plays him is great job. I really love this voice they've given to this gut. His parrot "Iago" is also cool. The way Jafar does his magic and the way he does his sorcery is awesome. He's just a great villain mainly because I think he's really cool. He also gets a lot of laughs every once and a while.
4. Frollo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame): Where do I begin with this guy? He kills an innocent woman, tries to drop her baby down a well, keeps him in a bell tower, burns people alive, does at least some of the 7 deadly sins and always saying he's doing this to defend god's honour. Frollo was a sinister creature. Saying he wants to purge the world of sins. He gets away with doing horrible, terrible thing because he reasons with the people and himself. Saying it's what god ultimately wants him to do. What a devil. I mean just look at these things he does.
He is just so evil. He does all this stuff and yet he still says it's for the best of god. He also has one of the best villain songs ever. I mean just listen to it.
I just love listening to it. I can listen to it forever and never get tired of it. He is such a bad-ass awesome villain. You could also say that Frollo made this movie more for adults than for children. Though in the original book by Victor Hugo he was a priest not a judge.
3. Captain Hook (Peter Pan): Out of all the Disney villains this one is probably the funniest. This dude just kills me every time I see him. He's so stupid a lot of the time and that's entertaining. With him, Mr Smee and the Crocodile is dang hilarious. There's also signs that at times he is a genius. Like for example when Tinker Bell is tricked into showing him Peter's hide out he does trick and manipulate her pretty cleverly. But that not all. His fights with Peter are cool and also very fast paced. I just laugh at this villain all the time.
2. Ursula (The little mermaid): This was a fun villain. A massive sea witch who always had a twisted look in her eye. Like most villains all she wanted was power but se looked really cool while trying to get it. On top of that, her design is awesome. Her design is basically half human and half octopus. She does kind of get a good laugh every once and a while. She uses cool magic that's cool to watch. Also, like Frollo she has her own villain song. Do you want to see?
She's just awesome.
1. And the number 1 best Disney villain is... Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty): This is just a fantastic villain. The voice acting is absolutely perfect. The design awesome. She's awesome, she's loud, she's quiet, she's powerful, she's over the top, she can even turn herself into a dragon. She's everything you want in a villain. Though to be fair her motivation is... well stupid. She just doesn't get invited to a birthday party that's it. But what she does to get revenge is awesome. They're actually making a live action movie about her this year. Do you want to see the trailer.
I'm not really all that sure I want to see it in the cinemas. But when it comes out on D.V.D I might look at it. But any way I'm still talking about from Sleeping Beauty. I don't know what else to say. It's just a great character and a great design. But when they do make the live action movie about her I do hope they don't change her personality from what it was in Sleeping Beauty or from Kingdom hearts, a game she was in. But like I said. The animation version of her is just fantastic.

Frozen

Let's finish the C.G.I Disney and Pixar movies with Frozen. This movie had everyone laughing on the floor and it's easy to see why. What the story? In the kingdom of "Arendelle" lives 2 princesses named "Anna" and "Elsa." Elsa has the ability to do what ever she wants to do with ice. Anna doesn't know this until the day where Elsa has to become queen. Anna meets a guy named "Hans" there and decides she wants to marry him. Elsa won't allow it and she becomes so angry that she accidentally freezes the kingdom and everyone in it. Anna goes after her after she runs off. She meets and man named "Kristoff" and a living snowman named "Olaf," who I'm just going to say has to be everyone's favourite character and is one of the funniest characters I've ever seen. When they finally find Elsa she refuses to go with them. From there a ton of stuff happens. This movie is a movie I both really love and really hate at the same time. I like it for the comedy and one particular character. Olaf. This guy makes this movie. I mean just watch these scenes of him.
He just kills me. Also this movie is a musical as well as an adventure and comedy. And I hate all the songs except for one. The one that Olaf sings.
But aside from that one, nothing. I hate the rest of them. The story really isn't anything new. And my god the message is so stupid. I absolutely hate the way they try to show us the message. It's a message about families and love and true love and my god it is really annoying. There was one thing that wanted me to see this movie and one thing only. Olaf. He is the only good thing in this movie. Not to say I don't like the other characters either. I mean I do like them but some of them are so boring. Though for all the problems, I do like this movie. My sister told me it got an Oscar for best picture and animation. It is a good movie but I do wish the movie was only about Olaf. If it was I would of liked it a million times better. But for what it is it's decent, I'm happy I saw it and I may see it a few more times. And everyone that was the C.G.I Disney and Pixar movies. I know there's more but like the DreamWorks movies there's some I haven't seen yet, some I don't like and some that would take too long to review. I might continue doing the review for the 2-D animation later on but I'm going to take a break from doing those for now and do reviews of other movie I like or do more top 5's or 10's. It's been great fun reviewing these movies and I hope to see more fantastic C.GI Disney and Pixar movies in the future.

Wreck-It Ralph

Wreck-It Ralph is my favourite animated movie ever. This movie was perfect. The characters were all likable, the story was easy to follow, fantastic twists, a brilliant idea of setting it all as video characters and not to mention there was a good song to be put during the credits. What's the story? In an arcade, when it's night time and everyone's left all the characters inside the video come to life and hang out at some train station that's inside an extension cord that all the games are plugged into. One day "Ralph" who's apparently the villain of a game called "Fix-It Felix Jr." wants the other people who're in the same game as him to accept him as a nice person because outside of the game he is a good and nice person. He makes a deal with the people inside the hotel in the game that he's in that if he can win a medal they'll allow him to live with them inside the hotel too. He goes to another game and wins one but monster attacks him and launches him to another game called "Sugar Rush," which is a race car game, he meets a girl there who's a glitch named "Vanellope." She takes his medal to enter a race. While that's going on Felix goes to look and comes across the main character in the game that Ralph was in named "General Calhoun." They go out to find Ralph and Calhoun tries to find the monster that left with Ralph called a "Cybug." The king of Sugar Rush doesn't want Vanellope to race and tries his best to prevent it from happening He tries to tell Ralph and from there a lot of stuff happens. So What is it about this movie that I like so much? Well I think a lot has to do with the fact that there's great characters, the story is creative and well the movie manages to pull you in with every silly bits but also all the dramatic bits. The song during the credits is entertaining to listen to. The voice actors do fantastic jobs with these roles. The climax is awesome and the twists that they give are so good and well thought out. I had no idea that it was coming. Ralph, Vanellope, Felix and Calhoun are just great characters they just make this movie. I really don't see any problems with this movie I'd say this is one of the most perfect movies ever. They make funny jokes using the material that's in the games they're in. If I were to put this on the top 5 Disney movies ever, I'd put it as number 3 or 4. What else can I say? I recommend watching this movie forever.

Bolt

The words to describe Bolt is cute and adorable. Incredibly cute. Just look at this opening.
This movie is so adorable. But much to the movie too it also is very likable. There's good characters, story, moral, visuals and twists. What's the story? Bolt is a dog and his master "Penny" are super secret who try to stop evil organisations from taking over the world. Bolt has incredible powers that make him invincible and make him beyond any dog that exist, so much so that they don't exist. It's all part of a TV show. A TV show that Bolt is unaware is completely fake. But Bolt goes through a crisis when he thinks Penny has really been kidnapped. So he escapes out into the real wold convinced that he can find her and bring her back to safety. He can't understand why none of his powers are working. Along the ways he comes across a cat named "Mittens" to help him out. And a hamster named "Rhino" who's just as convinced that Bolt is the real thing as much as Bolt does. John Travolta plays Bolt and I have to say like with cars it's ideal casting. He's really likable, very energised and totally convinced that he's in this fictional world. The rest of the voice actors do a great job with giving these characters likability as well. I'd say my favourite character would probably be either Bolt or Rhino. This movie is my cousins "Ava and Louis'" favourite Disney movie. A lot the time this movie is like a trip movie because Bolt, Mittens and Rhino are constantly trying to get back to Los Angelis. What else could you need. There's good, morals, characters and visuals, that's more than enough to recommend it.

Monsters University

Monsters University was the prequel to monsters Inc.. And boy was it awesome. I really loved the first movie but this is a bit better. What's the story? Mike and Sulley are in college in this movie learning how to get into the scare company. Randall is actually Mike's roommate and they're friends but Mike and Sulley aren't yet. Near the end of the first term Sulley, Mike and Randall and all they're class mates have to pass a test to continue in the scaring programme. During a fight with each other, Sulley and Mike accidentally knock over a canister of scream that belonged to a scarer named "Dean Hardscrabble." Because of they're flaws in scaring she kicks them out. Mike figures out that he might be able to get back into the scaring programme if he can win the scare games. He puts together a team called "Oozma Kappa." He gathers team members named "Art, Don, Terri, Terry and Squishy." Though Terry and Terri are the same monster with two heads. So it counts just one guy. Mike needs to put Sulley on his team too to enter. From there a bunch of stuff happens. So yeah I liked this movie. The characters that we liked to watch are back. Though here Mike is a studying like crazy. (A bit like my brother who loves to study a lot.) Sulley is a bit lazy and kind of egoistical in this movie but he does manage to change in a good way here. Also I never got these parts. Randall is actually called "Randy" in this movie and he's called that through out the whole thing. There's not any indication about when Mike met his girlfriend "Celia." And I think the ending is a little incomplete. But for what we got it was great. The characters were still entertaining and yeah the story was slow paced and that's one of the good things about it. My favourite character is still Mike. The new characters are fun and funny too. And there are some good twists in it that I didn't expect. These two movies are really entertaining. Sure not better than Toy Story, actually I don't really think I would them on the top 5 best Pixar movies. But for what they are they are they're very fun and I do recommend watching them.

Cars 2

I'm sure you've heard everyone say cars 2 sucks but in my opinion I disagree 1000%. It's one of my top 5 favourites. Well you all know what I thought of the first one, that I really liked the movie and the characters and the story and all that stuff. What's the story? This movie is actually a spy car movie. And an evil organisation wants to destroy a new gas that's been discovered called "Allinol" that was discovered by a car named "Axelrod." An elite spy organisation that's a good group try to find out what this organisation is up to. They're best men are to 2 super spies named "Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell. On another side of the story, Lightning has entered a race and invited Mater to come with him to help him as his pit crew chief. While at a party in Japan one of the spies on the good side attaches a device onto Mater and Holley thinks he's a spy. He goes with her when she asks him some questions even though he has no idea what she's talking about. The three of them are sent to discover what's going on. Mater is unaware of what's going on around him. The villains have a weapon that looks like a camera that has the ability to destroy any engine of any car that's using Allinol. And from there a bunch of stuff happens. Lighting and the others think Mater has gone lost at time we see Lightning racing. And I have to say the climax is one of my favourites. The villains actually try to kill Lightning because he's using Allinol too. So yeah. If you've heard this movie is horrible and even seen it yourself and think it's bad I recommend watching it again I think you might turn around on it. One of the problems that people have with this movie is that they wonder where the idea of spy story came from especially since the first one had nothing to do with spies. But that didn't bother me. I actually think this a perfect film. I think everything about it is just fantastic. There's also good comedy in this movie too. Also this time the movie's main character is Mater not Lightning. So yeah I really love this movie. It's one of my favourites.

UP

UP was one of Pixar's best movies ever made. There was comedy, drama, memorable characters, memorable moments, emotional and very heart-warming. And like Finding Nemo, I don't think it's as strong as Toy Story, it's still pretty dang good. What's the story? A little boy named "Carl" meets a little girl named "Ellie" and they instantly become friends. Well kind of I guess because he's a little shy and she's an over the top energy maniac. But they do have something in common that they both love adventure and they love to travel. They make a pack that they will go an adventure some time but unfortunately all sorts of real life events constantly get in the way. But they live a good life all the way up to old age until her death. Obsessed over the loss of his wife Carl has turned from a shy young boy into a grouchy old man, who's about to lose his home so he takes matters into his own hands and ties a bunch of balloons to his house and takes off into the sky, off to have an adventure searching for that patch of land he and his wife always talked about getting called "Paradise Falls." Along the way he comes across some colourful characters, including a boy scout named "Russell" who accidently got roped in, a rare bird who Russell names "Kevin" who seems to get along with Russell, a dog with a collar that allows him to talk named "Dug" and an old pilot named "Charles Munts" whose life-long search for Kevin has driven him insane, determined in capturing the creature even if it means killing anyone is the way. On the surface this story doesn't sound like much in fact it even sounds... well silly. And yeah it is silly. How did they think about having dogs fly little aeroplanes? Yeah, there's dogs flying little aeroplanes in this. But if you're willing to buy surreal ideas like a house that can take off with a million balloons, you know what!? You'll buy stuff like that too. And that's what the film manages to do. It manages to pull you in with every silly over the top idea because the dramatic moments are just as equally strong. And I'm sure you've heard everyone talk about the first 10 minutes and saying how unbelievably good they are. And well yeah I guess they kind of are. You want to have a look?
It's basically the history of their life as a couple together without any dialog. It's all done through visuals and music. And the rest of the movie is so imaginative and so colourful and so likable that it's impossible not to get as drawn in as you were the first 10 minutes. Kevin never says and yet she has a lot of personality. Yeah Kevin's a girl. The relation ship between Carl and Russell has it's funny moments but also has it's touching moments. The way they nail the personality of a dog by giving a voice box attached to it collar is in genius. Even the side-villains. As soon as "Alpha," Charles leading dog appeared I  remember thinking to myself "Oh boy here we go. The funny ruiner. This movie is ruined." But sure enough, this happened. Watch this.
You can't argue with me when I say that that's a brilliant idea. It's dang hilarious. Up has the perfect amount of drama, comedy, material for adults and children. I doesn't need a whole bunch of characters it only needs a few. But the few they chose are so good and so likable that it's enough to make you very satisfied. Now I'm going to get to the stuff I don't like. Well after the night when Carl, Russell, Kevin and Dug sleep under the house out under the rain, after that the movie doesn't hold up as strong as it. Another one is that some of the dialogs are often weird. Also remember when Dug said "My name is Dug." You could just hear the actor saying it from behind the microphone for a spilt second before the characters said it. But I don't have any other problem with this movie. But above it all I do like it. But I don't really think it's strong. But it's alright. Not a brilliant one but a great one. Check it out and have fun.

Ratatouille

Ratatouille was the second Pixar movie that was directed by Brad Bird after The Incredibles. What's the story? We have a rat named "Remy." He loves human food and loves learning how to make art out of special ingredients. Eventually Remy get's separated from his family and comes across one of his favourite human restaurants. By the way, this is taking place in France. The sad news is that the owner of that restaurant sadly passed away recently and is now under management of the villain of the movie. A very power hungry chief who I'm just going to say I have no idea what his plan is. Remy knows he can't speak to humans but he can at least help out with some of the dishes. Though he get captured by a janitor named "Linguini" who everyone thinks is the one who made the dishes who everyone seems to like. Linguini puts together that it was it was Remy who made the food and they form and partnership. Remy finds a way of controlling Linguini by pulling his hair and controlling his arms. Like a puppet Remy has total control over the chief and makes it looks like he's the one who's making these incredible dishes. From there a ton of stuff happens. There's a conspiracy about who really owns the restaurant, there's a chief that get's fired, there's a critic named "Anton Ego," or "Ego" who wants to come in and shut the restaurant by giving it a bad review, there's the reuniting Remy with his family, there's a moral about stealing. It's a ton. This movie makes me thinks a lot like the Incredibles. For example there's too much focus on Linguini who's just your everyday doofus. Nothing really makes him stand out from any other doofus in movies. There's a woman chief named "Colette Tatou" played really well by Janeane Garofalo who's pretty entertaining. Ego is one of the best designs I've ever in a C.G.I movie. The dead chief who used to own the restaurant comes back as a figment of Remy's imagination and I think that that's a pretty good idea. I actually only watched this movie for the first time ever only recently and actually before I decided to watch it I thought it was going to be a complete waste of time and I thought it was going to be like the worst Pixar movies ever. But actually no I was 100% wrong. I really loved it. I mean here's an example why. Every outside shot looks like something out of a beautiful painting. Just take one look at this movie and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. And once again the characters look very Brad Bird. They look like they were drawn first and then designed in a computer. Which gives a lot more personality. Speaking of personality, I'm going to show you probably one of the most perfect endings ever given to a movie. Ego goes to the restaurant to give the bad review. But as he taste the food he suddenly remembers how one day his mother fed him the exact same dish when he was a boy and loved. Then... well just watch this. I guarantee you'll enjoy it.
I can listen to that review over and over and never get tired of it. It one of my favourite movie scenes ever. So does this movie have flaws? Yeah! And I do think they are serious. But the stuff that's good, I can describe how good it is. So despite it's trouble Ratatouille is a brilliant movie that I'm going to be watching a lot more times in the future.

Cars

When I saw Cars in the cinemas, I really didn't know what to think. I mean I did like it and I still do. But the way I did see it was kind of odd. It was a lot different then from the way I see it now a days. What's the story? We have a race car named "Lightning McQueen." Or "Lightning" for short. He's a big shot celerity. constantly winning all his races and getting fans on his back. While he's being taken to his next race, he get's lost and finds himself in a town called "Radiator Springs." Which he accidentally destroys a good amount of. The court decides that he should fix the road to pay for what he's done. Of course being the egotistical celebrity he is, he just wants to get to his race. But the town won't let him leave until he's fixes the road. While he's at the town he actually makes friends with the town's people... or town's cars. Mater the cable truck, Sally, Flo, Sarge, Fillmore, Doc Hudson, the Sheriff, Luigi, Ramone, Lizzy and Red. They all live in a town where they each have they're own businesses... though they haven't had costumers for years. Although as time goes on Lightning actually starts to become friends with the townspeople. He becomes best friends with Mater and he and Sally start to become interested in each other over time. And just from that you can pretty much tell what's going to happen in the rest of the movie. So yeah I liked the movie. A lot of the jokes do get big laughs  and the characters are really memorable. But I don't I would really put this on the top five Pixar list. But I would say that the characters are one of the best elements of this movie and there's some really, really good dialogs. Especially between Lightning and Sally when they get to an old restaurant called "Wheel Well." Owen Wilson plays Lightning and I have to say it's ideal casting. He's very likable and the he does do a very good job. Sure not the same way as in Madagascar but it's still pretty good. And there's also Larry the cable guy who plays Mater who's really funny. The designs are cool too. While I've said all the good stuff about it, I don't think it belongs on top five like I've already said. I mean I do like it but there were some bit's of it where it is maybe a little boring. Like a little bit of the dialogs are pretty weird. Though I do forgive it's problems because I do think it's a good movie. So I would give it a recommendation for at least some viewings.

The Incredibles

When I was about 9 or 10 years old The Incredibles was my favourite Disney movie. I thought that even though I did like Toy Story and the other Disney and Pixar movies, this was the first Pixar movie for boys only. There was action, great dialogues, great characters, great designs, great villains, great everything. But as I got older... I wouldn't say I liked less... but as time went on I really started to like Toy story and Finding Nemo a bit better. I still do like as much I did back then and actually it's a lot better than I remember. I just don't think it's the strongest. What's the story? In the golden days of superhero, "Mr Incredible" is one of the most famous. He get's married to "Elasta-girl" and looks like they're going to live happy lives being superheroes with their powers and secret identities and so on. But the tables soon begin to turn when the people who are being saved start suing all the superheroes of the world and all the superheroes, or "Supers" as they're called have to go into a protection industry where they can't use they're powers at all. Years later Mr Incredible or "Bob Par" as his real name is has started a family with "Helen Par" as Elasta-girl's real name is. They have three children named "Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack" who also have super powers. Just to give you the info, Bob's power is super strength, Helen's power is elasticity, Violet's power is force-fields and invincibility, Dash's power is super speed and Jack-Jack's power is shape-shifting. Violet is sixteen, Dash is ten and Jack-Jack is like 1or2. And while most of the family... for the mot part seem to fit in with out using their powers Bob is going through the always popular mid-life crisis. He misses the golden days, the sense of adventure, hates being in an office and hates turning people down. Things start to change tough when he gets a letter from a woman named "Mirage" who has a ton of secret missions lined up for him and wants him to return to the glory days of Superhero hood. Bob agrees going behind his family's back but little does he know that a villain named "Syndrome" is actually planning the whole thing. It's nice to see a Pixar movie that actually focuses on people for once. And like I said I love the way they're designed. Speaking of which, the designer of the characters for this movie is "Brad Bird." The designer who did the designs for the characters for the Simpsons. One of my favourite t-v shows ever as you'll see in my top 5 t-v shows I did. Though I'd only have one problem with this movie. The movie is called "The Incredibles." But in my opinion it should of been called "Mr Incredible." Because the focus is mostly on him. And I really love this family a lot. I like Helen. I like Violet. I like Dash. I like Jack-Jack. Not to say I don't like Bob. I do. I just think he has too much focus. And actually now that I think about it. I've been thinking of that problem for a long time. I would say my favourite character is probably Dash or Bob. My sister "Niamh" told me that they're actually planning to do a sequel in three years time. Also there's this really funny designer character named "Edna Mode" who's actually voiced by Brad Bird. Watch these scenes of her they're really funny.
And just so you know. Yeah Edna is a woman voiced by a man. Weird isn't it. But Brad Bird does do a great job. His performance of her is really hilarious and really fun to watch. The final fight between the family, except Jack-Jack, and Bob's other superhero friend "Froze zone" against the giant robot called the "Omnidroid" is a really impressive fight and a really fun one too. So yeah. Take a look at it and enjoy yourself.

Finding Nemo

When Finding Nemo came out people went insane. We were in love with this movie. We loved the underwater world, the story, the characters and the colours. And while I don't think it's as good as say Toy story, it's still pretty dang good. It was the first Disney movie I ever saw in cinemas, heck it was the first movie I ever saw in cinemas period. What's the story? We have a clownfish named "Marlin." His wife and children were eaten by a Barracuda. Except for one child. The one that he calls Nemo. Because of his loss, he's over protective of Nemo and wants to be sure that nothing ever happens to him. What a shock, something happens to him. Nemo is taken away by a diver and put in a fish tank in a dentist office in Australia, that's a unique location. So now Marlin is on an endless quest to find his son. Along the way he comes across a fish named Dory, who has short-term memory loss... which you would think very quickly would get old but they do it pretty cleverly. It gets big laughs and people really seem to enjoy it and I enjoy it too. Nemo as well comes across some fun interesting fish in the tank. A Moorish Idol fish named "Gil," a starfish named "Peach," a Blowfish named "Bloat," a yellow tang named "Bubbles," a four-striped damselfish named "Deb" and a cleaning shrimp named "Jacques." They're a group of various fish who try to figure out a way out of the tank and back to sea. They're plan is so creative and really clever that it's impossible to say it wouldn't work. But they have to go quick because Nemo may be in danger of being given to the dentist's niece. A crazy looking child named "Darla" who has a habit of shaking her fish to death. Finding Nemo has a solid story and solid characters. I think this one uses the drama even more than the previous Pixar movies. And they do it fantastically. The characters are too many to count. They're all memorable, they're all fun, you remember what all of them look like, they're all wonderfully unique creations. I watched it again recently after all these years and it is 1000% better than I remember. If I was to put this in a top 5 best Pixar movies list I would put it in as number 2 after the Toy Story Trilogy. There weren't any bloopers for this movie so I can't show them to you. I would say my favourite character is probably Nemo. He's not funny but he is nice, innocent, curious and friendly. I'm also sort of happy they don't have the idea of Marlin and Dory fall in love either. You would say that it's obvious because anytime they put a male and a female together they usually get together. And especially with Marlin's wife "Coral" being dead this would be very tempting. I'm glad they didn't. I'm glad they just made them friends and just be friends. I don't know. What else can I say about this movie? It just has so many things a movie should have. It's adventurous, funny, dramatic, colourful, character memorable, memorable, light hearted and it's a good moral. At times maybe it can get a little too dialoguey. I mean you know the message in the first 5 minutes and yet they still keep hammering it in. But it's not a bad message. Actually if you really do think about it it's one that's really more for parents than it is for children. That's pretty different. So yeah I would say get the family together and watch this movie together. I guaranty you will not regret it.

Monsters Inc.

When I was younger my dad and I always loved to watch Monsters Inc. There were great characters, fun moments, funny moments and a really fun story. What's the story? We have two monsters. One named "Sulley" and one named "Mike." They're great at scaring little kids and getting them to scream. Why is it important for them to scream? Because the monster world they live in is powered by the screams of children. It's how they harness their electricity and power and so on. That's pretty creative. They're in competition with another monster named "Randall," whose trying to beat the record for the most scares. But is constantly beaten by Sulley and Mike. The catch though is that they're convinced that kids are unbelievable contagious. They think that they spread germs and that if a kid touches them they'll die. So it's not the best thing in the world that a little girl has snuck into the monster world and is driving everyone insane. The irony is that big monsters are absolutely terrified of a cute innocent little girl. Things get even more crazy when Sulley and Mike actually start to like the little girl but find that she may be in trouble because Randall and they're boss "Mr Waternoose" are trying to kidnap the girl who Sulley has named "Boo." They're trying to kidnap her to fuel this giant machine that can... actually I have no idea what it does or what it does to it's victims. That bit of the story is the only complicated part of the story. I would say my favourite character would probably be Mike. He's funny, smart and probably the most mature one of the group between him and Sulley. Not to say that Sully isn't mature. He is it's just that in the prequel that came out last year... I'll inform you on that when I get to it. The voice acting in this movie I would say is probably just fine. The monster's designs are pretty cool too. And I have to say, the climax is defiantly a ton of fun. So yeah I still do like the film and when I saw it recently it's a lot better than I remember. The relationship between Sulley and Boo can get a little awkward at times but is very interesting to watch at times. Watch these bloopers too. They're pretty funny.
So yeah it's a movie I was glad to see recently and yeah it is fun to watch. So I'd say take a look at it and have fun.

A bug's life

Hello everyone. I'm back doing the C.G.I Disney movies. I'll begin the second Pixar movie, A bug's life. The rival movie to Antz. Did Disney think of the idea first? Did the guy who left? Who cares? Let's just go with it. What's the story? We an ant named "Flik." He's from a colony of ants that gathers food every year to give to a gang of grasshoppers for protect them. They're led by a jerk named "Hopper." Basically the grasshoppers are just bullies who like to take advantage of the fact that they can push around the ants and they can get them food. But Flik doesn't like that. So he ventures off and tries to find a group of warriors bugs to come in and fight the grasshoppers off. What he finds is a group of circus performers that are confused for warrior bugs. The circus bugs in turn, confuse the fact that they think they're getting a job to perform. Once they find out the truth they try to flee, only to discover that actually they can put together a great plan to get rid of the grasshoppers. So the race is on to put together plan that will stop the grasshoppers and bring peace to they're colony and stop being bullied around. I'm just going to say this. There's only one problem with this movie, and that is that is not very strong. When I say that I mean that it's a follow up to the first Toy story and that it's just isn't as strong as it. It happened like this. Toy story 1 came out first, then A bug's life, then Toy story 2. So this movie isn't as strong as it and really that's my only problem and it's not a big problem. It's just isn't as good. Alright then, let's get to the good stuff. The characters are memorable, the story as easy to follow, there was great comedy and it was really family friendly and colourful. I would say that my favourite character was probably "Molt." Hopper's younger brother. And I'd say that the funniest bit of the movie was probably the bloopers during the ending. Here watch them.
It's always one of the best part in the movie every time I see it. When ever I see Antz I always get mixed up with trying to figure out which ant is which but with a bug's life I never got that. I mean somehow I actually do know which ones are which. The voice don't do a great job with their performances but they do O.K. And that's one of the reasons I think I know which ant is which. There's Flik, Princess Atta, Dot, The Queen, Thorny, Frances the Ladybird,(Just so you know Frances is a dude, Slim the Stick bug, Himeling the Caterpillar, Manny the mantis, Gypsy the Butterfly, Tuck and Roll the cockroaches, Dim the Dorbeetle and Rosie the Spider. And the voice actors they got to play these guys all really do fit unlike Antz where 1 or 2 voice actors don't fit. Though there is one more bad thing about the movie that I hate, the liar revealed subplot, which I've said before I really, really hate. But aside from that, A bug's life is a really enjoyable movie. So take a look at it and enjoy yourself.

Madagascar 3: Europes most wanted

Let's finish the DreamWorks reviews with Madagascar 3. The third and probably last of the Madagascar movies. And I have to say this is a series of movies that... well doesn't get better and better but definitely funnier and funnier. So what's the story? Like the last one it start's off exactly where it left off. Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman are still stuck in Africa. The penguins have apparently taken the plane and gone to Europe to have fun. But they've been taking too long so Alex, Marty, Gloria, Melman, Julian, Maurice and Mort go to Europe to find them. They find the penguins gambling and take them to take them back to New York. The police find them and call animal control. The villain of this movie is a French animal control captain named "Chantel DuBois." She has a wall at her house of heads of animals that she's captured and killed. And her goal is to put Alex's head up there. Let me tell you something. My favourite part in this movie is the first 20 minutes. Watch this.
It just kills me every time I watch it. As they get away they find a circus train and sneak on board. But in order for them not to blow they're cover, they say that they're circus animals and thus the animals on board welcome them. Thinking they can do this as a means to get home they buy the circus with the money they have and see if they can use they're talents to work they're way back to the city. The only problem is that... well the circus animals suck. They used to be the best circus of all time but because of an accident that happened with they're leader, a tiger named "Vitaly" they've become probably one of the worst circuses ever. So it's up to our heroes to put the circus back on track while also avoid the watchful eye of Chantel DuBois. Not only did this movie have the most funny moments but also the most funniest characters. Like I said in the first two movies the voice acting is just spectacular. The villain is just hilarious. Seriously, Chantel just kills me. It's unlike last time where the villain was good just not funny. Here the villain is a great villain and she's hilarious. And also the characters are once again likable and hilarious. And so everyone those were all my reviews of the DreamWorks movie reviews. Next I'll be continuing the C.G.I Disney and Pixar movie and with these DreamWorks movies I would check them out and have some fun.

Madagascar Escape 2 Africa

Our animal friends return in Madagascar Escape 2 Africa. I really hate movie tittle that have the number in the tittle, e.g. "Escape "2" Africa." It always confuses me. So you guys all know what I thought of the 1st Madagascar movie I thought it was funny and the characters were really memorable, this one seems to be a little more funnier. What's the story? The story actually starts off exactly where it left off. With Marty, Gloria, Alex and Melman still stuck on the island. But they manage to fix a destroyed plane that was on the island and putting it on a giant slingshot tree. This doesn't quite get them back to New York but it does get them to Africa... where everybody fits in really, really well. Alex is reunited with his mother and father, Marty finds that there's more Zebra like him, literally, Melman gets a job a Doctor and Gloria finds a new love named "Moto-Moto." Things start to become a major downside when it turns out that Alex has to pass some sort of test in order to stay in the herd. But seeing how he's a performer and not really a survivor he finds that task much harder than it sounds. And the others find down sides to their happiness too. Will they stay and work it out!? Or is it time to move on? Like I said in the last movie the voice actors do a perfect job with doing great performances to these characters. I also think that the villain, "Makunga" is... well not funny. The voice actor who does him makes him very unlikable which is what he's supposed to be. The voice actor who does Alex's father "Zuba" do a very heart-filled performance. Not many funny lines come out of him but he still does a great job. The penguins are still my favourite characters. They actually made a t-v show about these guys called "The Penguins of Madagascar." Also I think that Gloria and Melman are really bland. They actually get together in this and boy is it disturbing to watch. Oh and guess who else is back? That crazy old lady who just appeared for a brief moment in the last movie. She leads a group of lost tourists and the people go nuts and my god she is just determined to find Alex again. I don't know what her deal is but she just kills me. Julian, Maurice and Mort are back too and they're enjoyable to watch. While I've said that this movie is funnier than the last one I'll admit it's not better than the 1st Madagascar. There are some things about this one that doesn't make me like it better than number 1.Though it is fun.

Madagascar

I'm going to be ending the DreamWorks reviews with this movie series. I know there are other DreamWorks movies but some of them I haven't seen yet or some I don't like, or some would be too long to review. So what's the story? We have a Lion named "Alex, a Zebra named "Marty", a Giraffe named "Melman" and a Hippo named "Gloria." They're all animals who live in a zoo. One day the penguins "Skipper, Rico, Private and Kowalski" tell Marty that he should follow his dream of leaving the zoo and have his freedom. He does but Alex, Melman and Gloria go to get him back. When they finally reach him the police capture them and throw them in boxes and put them on a boat heading to Africa but they boxes they're in fall over board and the three of them land on Madagascar. They find a group of Lemurs who are constantly being attack by a group of animal eating like tigers called the "Fossa." They think that if they keep Alex with them he'll be able to protect them. However Alex is beginning to go crazy without not having food, so he begins imagining that his friends are food so the race is on to see is they can snap Alex out of his temptation and stop the Foosa before the boat leaves. The characters in this movie are really likable. I'd say my favourite characters are probably the penguins. They just kill me. They actually made a TV show out of these guys and I like the show too. I'd say one of the best things about this movie is the voice acting. The actors all really do fit the characters and they all do perfect performances. Really. I usually find it with a celebrity voice, even the really good ones you can often sort of feel the actors in the recording booth if the actors voices don't pick-up with the animation of the characters if you know what I mean. But with the voice actors in this I never go that. The actors are just right there in the roles. They're the characters. Watch this movie again and tell me if you can really disconnect the recording of the actors with the animation of the characters. They're just flawless. The animation also really works. The speed of the animation is really funny too. One last thing; the Lemurs are led by a king Lemur named "King Julian." He has an assistant named "Maurice." And Julian has Lemur who looks up to him, a little Lemur named "Mort."
