My top 3 favourite Disney characters

This list is going to go against all 52 Disney classics. And also I'm not going to include the Pixar characters in this in case it's obvious that the Toy Story characters are number 1. This list can include one individual character or a group of characters.
3. Jiminy Cricket: Not only do I think Jiminy is one of the best Disney characters ever but also I've seen him on a bunch of other Disney related things like Kingdom Hearts and a f other things like that. At the very beginning of Pinocchio he sings a song called "When you wish upon a star" which is Disney's theme song because... well listen to this.
All I can say is he's a great character and one of Disney's best.
2. Maleficent: O.K this might be cheating because she's a villain but I just figured I should put her on this list. I've talked about Maleficent a bunch of time I don't think there's much I can say about this character except she's one of Disney's best. (Also I saw the live-action Maleficent movie this summer and I have to say... it was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I'd skip it if I were you.)
And my number 1 favourite Disney character is... Tiana, Naveen, Louis and Ray: I couldn't really decide which should be number 1 so I decided to give them all the number 1 spot. I'm going to say the name of them and say what I like about them. With Tiana I like her for the seriousness, her positivity and she does seem to be the only character who actually does seem identifiable with what she wants and what she'll go to achieve her goal. With Naveen I like for his funny moments and his new behaviour after the hunter scene. With Louis I like his funny scenes and that he doe seem to really care about his friends. With Ray it's the same as Louis. All I can say left is that these are great characters and my favourite Disney characters.

My top 3 Santa Clauses

This list is going to be counting my favourite Santa's from movies I've seen.
3. The nightmare before Christmas: Granted, this Santa doesn't get much scene time in the film but for the scenes he did get, I really liked him. The main character is a skeleton named "Jack Skeleton" who kidnaps him to take over his job. Then 3 evil kids named Lock, Shock and Barrel bring him a bag of bugs (literally) named "Oogie Bogie" who just toys with this Santa. Oogie Bogie is the villain of this movie. Besides all that the Santa here does seem to be a loving and kind one who may at times seems a bit grumpy, but can you blame him, he's being kidnapped and being held hostage. He's a great one.
2. The Santa Clause: This movie is a Disney version and it has a really good Santa in it. He's played by Tim Allen who also played Buzz Lightyear and he hits just the right mark in this roll. He looks the part and he does do his best to try and make every Christmas a good and happy Christmas. I'd say I personally enjoy him the most in the third one, which is also one of my most favourite Christmas films ever.
And my number 1 favourite Santa Clause is...Arthur Christmas: This film delivers to us a kind and loving Santa where it also creates a great premise around him. This Santa has a really bad memory which show a lot of funny moments. When you watch him you do get the feeling like this is the kind of Santa who's been doing the work the most. At the end of the film he does see that the best thing to do is to give his job to his youngest son, "Arthur." When you see him do it it's pretty heart-warming. Also when there's a sort of quiet scene with him and you can just imagine what he's thinking. I especially like his sweetness and kind moments. He's just a great one. I'd say check this movie out yourself and just see how much of a great performance the actor delivered. For me, he's my favourite movie Santa.

My top 3 Christmas specials

Now that it's the time of Christmas I'm going to be spending the next few weeks talking about some Christmas things. So for today I'm today I'm going to be talking about my top 3 favourite TV specials. Number 1 might actually surprise you.
3. The Spongebob specials: There's actually only been 2 Spongebob specials and the second one "A Spongebob Christmas" is by far my favourite. It's stock motion actually. My absolute favourite part is the ending with all the characters together and there's even that really cool Christmas song. Listen to this.
It's definitely one of the greatest Christmas songs I've ever heard. I don't think there's much more for me to say except for that I love this special and it's staying on this list as number 3.
2. The Powerpuff girls: Twas the fight before Christmas: I know it's strange to put this on the list considering it is kind of a bit of a girls TV show and yeah the show does kind of annoy me, that is except for this episode, which is by far my favourite episode of the whole show. It's a little hard to explain everything so I'll just skip the plot. I guess my last words are, it's a great Christmas special and I love to watch it every single time.
And my number 1 favourite Christmas special of all time is... Billy and Mandy save Christmas: Billy and Mandy is a TV show I've loved all my life and the Christmas special is by far my favourite episode as well as my favourite Christmas special ever. Billy is this stupid by friendly and likable person. Mandy is an arrogant, greedy and jerky person who at times seems unlikable but when something serious happens she does seem to want things to go well and even making sure everyone's happy. In this, them and their friend, the Grim Reaper head to the north pole only to find that Santa has been turned into a vampire by the head, head vampire. Now the 3 of them have to find and destroy the head, head vampire and save Christmas. There's actually a lot of twists in this that all works so well. There are a lot of really great deliveries here that are great to listen to. And finally my last word are the same as the last one, it's a spectacular Christmas special and my personal favourite special ever and I'm going to be watching a lot more times in the future.

Tangled

Like I said in my last review I now it's too late to do this review considering that it's a C.G.I movie but I just thought I should do it anyway. What's the story? In a far away kingdom there's a magic flower called the golden flower that can be used to give you eternal youth. But it can only work when you sing a certain song that a witch named "Mother Gothel" figured out. As it turns out she's been using the flower for hundreds of years that is until the queen of the land gets incredibly sick while she's having her baby. So some soldiers are told to find the flower to be used to keep her alive and know that it's gone Mother Gothel loses her ability to keep young. It seems that the flower has been crushed down and has been passed to the queen and kings daughter "Rapunzel." And the power of the flower actually seems to be in her hair. So Mother Gothel kidnaps Rapunzel when she's just a baby and uses the power of her hair to grow younger. This opening is actually a pretty good setup since they do explain everything perfectly in just those few minutes. And the rest of the story is actually pretty good too. Rapunzel grows up into a teenager with her witch mother and chameleon friend named "Pascal." But when a famous thief named "Flynn" enters her tower she knocks him out and tries to get some information out of him. He agree that if she lets him go he'll lead her to this ceremony that seems to take place every year on her birthday. This ceremony is raising a bunch of lanterns in the hope that someday she'll find it and return home. And the rest I'm pretty sure you can easily guess. So the story is actually very creative. The characters are not bad I guess. Rapunzel is a regular sweet, fun-loving and nice princess and she's a good character. Flynn is really funny because of his wise-cracking jokes. Mother Gothel is the villain and she does seem to be a good one. There are some thugs in this who are really, really funny characters. They have a song where they all tell their dreams which is a fun song. Speaking of which, I'm going to be talking about the songs in a second. But no matter what, my two favourite characters are Pascal and a horse named "Maximus." They're both none speaking comic-relief animals who make me laugh extremely hard when ever they're on screen. Now, like I was just saying about the songs, their all pretty forgettable and not fun to listen to, except for the thug song I was just saying. Like I was saying before I was going to compare The Princess & the Frog to this and yeah it's obvious that I'm going to say that the Princess & the Frog is better in my opinion. While the characters in this are good and the animation is impressive, the Princess has everything including those 1000 times better. For this one I do really like. I'd say this is worth a few watches. And everyone those were the 2-D Disney animated movies all reviewed. I hope you enjoyed them and hopefully you can watch these movies yourselves and think of your own opinions on them. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed.

The Princess and the Frog

I know it's weird to talk about this film considering I've talked about it 1000 times. Though I thought it'd be a good idea since I've done a review for a lot of the other Disney films. Remember how before on my top 3 movies that didn't get sequels? Remember how I said there was more to the story then what I told originally said to you all. If you don't remember I'd go back and look at it but if you do remember, here's the upper part of the story. O.K so got up to the part where Tiana was turned into a frog and she and Naveen got stuck in the Bayou and now they're trying to get back to the New Orleans city to turn back to normal and stop the Shadow-man with Louis the Alligator and Ray the Firefly. As that's going on the Shadow-man, as it turns out has a deal with the underworld saying if they can get Naveen back for him and once he takes over New Orleans, they can devour as many souls from people as much as they want. But in order to take control of the town h has to have Lawrence, Naveen's former assistant marry Charlotte, Tiana's best friend, but they need to get Naveen blood into some kind of small talisman that Lawrence is wearing to make himself look like Naveen at a certain amount of time or else it'll all just go away. But as it also turns out Naveen has to be kissed by Charlotte because her father is the king of some kind of parade which technically means she's a princess and apparently Naveen has to be kissed by any princess to break the spell over himself and Tiana. But that has to be done by mid-night on the night it ends or else she's not a princess anymore. But on top of that Both Tiana and Naveen of course begin to fall-in love with each other while trying to help each other through their faults and finally the Shadow-man actually kills Ray by just stomping on him and there's actually a very depressing funeral scene. Now you could say that there's too many details in this story which makes it too complicated and too long to explain or understand everything that's going on, but for me I think it really works and the reasons are because of the characters, the music plus the songs and the execution. It all turns to be brilliantly written. As I've said before, my favourite character is either Tiana, Naveen, Louis or Ray. Really, to me, every character in this movie is just spectacular. Also I've also said before on how I would really love to see a Princess and the Frog world in Kingdom Hearts 3. And like I showed you all, I've made my own plan for a plot that could happen while Sora, Donald and Goofy are there. The songs were composed and written by Randy Newman, my favourite Disney and Pixar composer. The songs in this are just great to listen to. My favourite is the song "When we're human" sang by Tiana, Naveen and Louis. As it turns out all the actors who did the voices for all the characters actually did their singing voices as well. As I've also said in my top 10 favourite movies I said how the Shadow-man is a really great villain and if I found this movie before I did my top 5 Disney villains I definitely would of put him on it. Remember how I said in my last review on Treasure Planet I said how this film was directed by John Musker and Ron Clements and how their my favourite Disney directors because they've directed a lot of other Disney movies I love, they still are. So to finish up I guess my final thought are that this movie is still movie is still one of my favourite movies ever and it always will be. I know this was still technically the last hand-drawn 2-D animated Disney film, I'm going to do one more Disney review. Tangled I know it's too late to do that one but a lot of people lie to compare that movie to this one seeing how they both have a princess in them and Tangled was released right after this one. So join me next and I hope you enjoy this movie because I forever will.

Treasure Planet

This was the other movie the guy asked me about. Before I saw parts of it but I didn't see it all, but just like Atlantis, just earlier I finished watching it and I have to admit, I found it to be a bit more likable than Atlantis. What's the story? Apparently in another universe in the 18th century a little boy named "Jim Hawkings" hears the story of a place called "Treasure Planet," which is an actual planet full of treasure. Years go by and Jim is now a teenage delinquent, always getting into trouble and surprisingly, he's feeling bad that his father left. No I'm serious, when he was young, his father just left for no reason and never came back. Anyway, he finds an alien pirate who gives him a treasure sphere thing that shows them where Treasure Planet is. Jim comes across one of his mothers friends named Doctor Doppler and he suggest that they find a ship and crew and go find it. The captain is a cat-lady alien named "Captain Amelia." The cook is named "John Silver." There also a robot named "B.E.N" and a little transforming glob of goo named "Morph." So what's good about this movie? I actually really like these characters. They aren't really anything new but it's the execution that makes me like them. The animation is another thing I should bring up. It's really well done, and also it's more brighter here than it is in Atlantis. There's also a lot of sci-fi designs and while they do look cool, there was about one or two of them I didn't like. John Silver is the villain of the movie, but to be fair he's a very likable villain. Before they find out he's a bad guy himself and Jim get to know each other more and afterwards he refuges to kill him once the cover is blown. Even the relationships between the characters are pretty great. Also, this film was directed by "Ron Clements and John Musker" my two favourite Disney directors. They directed other Disney films like The Great mouse detective, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules and most importantly, The Princess and the Frog. So overall I think movie is pretty good. It has good characters, good animation and a good story, I'd say take a look at it.

Atlantis: The Lost Empire

Atlantis: The Lost Empire. I know it's weird doing this one considering it came out after The Emperor's New Groove and I've past the movies after that but while I was look through my comments one person asked me if I would do this and Treasure Planet. So here we go. One of the reasons I didn't review this until now is because I never saw it and I really wanted to so just earlier today I found it, I watched it and yeah I did enjoy it... but. O.K let's just go to the movie itself before I get side-tracked. This was Disney attempt to do a kind of adult movie with lots of explosions and people die in a kind of horror way, and boy did it backfire. Not only did this movie do incredibly poorly at the box-office but a lot of critics gave it bad reviews. Were they right? Well I wouldn't go that far as to what they said. I mean like I just said I did like. What's the story? In a museum in 1912 there's a janitor named "Milo." He meets a person who used to be a friend of his parents. He gives Milo a journal that his grandfather left for him called the "Shepard's Journal" that could possibly be a map to the lost city of Atlantis. The same man has actually been spending years and years putting together a team of explorers and equipment and stuff like that to go down and find the city. Along the way they come across obstacles, trouble, monsters and all that stuff trying to stop them until they do manage to find the city and the lost people. They meet with the emperor and his daughter named "Kida" and she and Milo try to explore for a mystical crystal that's keeping the Atlantians all alive, that is until a villain is discovered. So what's good about this movie? First off the animation is very different from any other kind of Disney animation. A lot of that comes from the designs, especially the character designs. The characters are not bad I guess. Milo is this regular geeky character and there's nothing really different about him. The side-characters are actually very funny and they do get a lot of really good lines. The villain is the captain named "Rourke." And his motivation is just like Clayton's, greed. That's right, he's just a idiot who just wants money. Every time I see a villain like this I just get tired of them. But to the film's credit, every scene with him before we find out he's the villain, he does almost seem likable. The voice actor for him is just perfect. To be perfectly honest, I would say that the only problem I have with this movie is probably some scenes that drag on for too long and some things are a little boring. But aside from that I had a lot of fun watching this movie. If you want to see it fine, but if you would listen to what the critics said and that it was a bad movie. But for me I would say it is a good movie.

Brother Bear

I only saw a few years ago with my brother, sister and mam and when we saw it we liked it despite the fact that when it was released in theatre in 2003, it wasn't a hit. What's the story? A man named "Kenai" tries to find and kill a bear that he thinks killed his older brother "Sitka." He does but the spirit god get angry at him for doing it because the bear was innocent and as a punishment he gets turned into a bear too. At the same time his other older brother named "Denahi" wants revenge too. He think the bear killed Kenai and know he's out for blood. As Kenai tries to get back to the top of the mountain to turn back to normal he meets a little bear cub named "Koda." He stays with Kenai for a bit because he got separated from his mother. And yeah, lets be honest, you can figure out what happens after that. So what's good about this movie? Well for one thing this movie does have a good set-up and the characters are pretty likable. Especially at the beginning when we just see Kenai, Denahi and Sitka for the first time. So to sum up I would say that this movie O.K but nothing really spectacular or surprising. I mean a lot of the story is predictable and there are some annoying scenes and the music is pretty odd a well but for the rest it's not bad I'd say take a look and take your own opinion on it.

Lilo & Stitch

When I was a kid Lilo & Stitch was one of the Disney movies I found myself watching a good amount of times. And I do still like it, but it's not one of my favourites. What's the story? An alien experiment created by an evil genius alien scientist named "Jumba" escapes his captivity and makes his way to earth and befriends a little girl named "Lilo" who lives with her older sister named "Nani." From there a few other things happen. What's good about this movie? The characters are really good characters. Lilo and Nani are both characters people can identify with the way they act is the same way people would act in the same situation they're going through. Stitch is supposed is look like a dog. And he is cute. He's my favourite character actually. Jumba is O.K. While I've said he's an "evil" genius he's not the villain. As a character, he's pretty good. There's another alien side character named "Pleakley" who gets a good few laughs. The villain is an alien named "Gantu" The film is actually based in Kauai and it really does look good the way they portrayed it and even the animation is on it really good. So to close up I'd just say that this is a movie I'd definitely recommend you watching.

The Emperor's new Groove

Before I began doing these reviews I had never watched the Emperor's new Groove before. I mean I had heard of it but I never watched it, and when I saw it I have to say it was pretty good. Before I've seen the spin-off TV show of it called "the Emperor's new School." What's the story. It's about an emperor named "Kuzco" who's an emperor who's completely selfish and a jerk. His adviser named "Yzma" wants to kill him so she can take over as the new Emperor. So her and her henchman named "Kronk" try to kill him by giving him a potion but they accidentally give him a potion that turns him into a lama instead of killing him. But they try to kill him anyway. Kronk messes up and Kuzco gets away. Along the way he meets a peasant named "Pacha" and now the two of them have to journey back to the kingdom and reclaim his position. What's good about this movie? Well for one thing it's really funny and the characters are pretty good. Kuzco is just your basic jerk who'll become a nice guy in the end but he does have some good lines. Pacha is played by John Goodman who also played Sulley from Monsters Inc. and he not that different from that role. But I have to say the true highlight of the movie is Yzma and Kronk as the villains. They are hilarious. They make this movie. Every scene with them makes me laugh incredibly hard especially one specific scene at the beginning as they're entering their lab. Watch this.
I found this is the Disney movie that had the most breaking the 4th wall jokes in it. Another thing I should talk about is the animation. I think the animation on the characters, especially Yzma and Kronk is really, really good. I especially like he fast paced action at the end when they're all trying to defeat Yzma. I definitely say this movie is worth being watched a few times.

Tarzan

When I was a kid Tarzan was one of the darkest Disney films I had ever seen. Why!? Well, let's just look at the story first. A family's ship crashes on an island and now they have to live on their own. The mother and father construct a tree house for them to live in. However a leopard named "Sabor" comes and kills the mother and father just leaving the baby. Coincidently the same leopard kills the baby of family of apes and what a shock the mother ape named "Kala" and the human baby run into each other. The Kala decides she wants to take care of the baby but the father ape named "Kerchak" dislikes the idea but he doesn't stop her. Over the years the baby, who Kala has named "Tarzan" has turned into a man then one day he meets some other people. A hunter named "Clayton," a bumbling professor named "Archimedes" and his daughter named "Jane." Jane and Tarzan run into each other and immediately begin to fall for each other. Tarzan then begins to show her about the animal world and Jane shows him all about the human world, but then the evil villain is discovered. So what's good about this movie. Well for one thing the animation is pretty good and there are a lot of fast paced animation scenes that are really impressive. Tarzan himself is a pretty good character, when he's just being himself and talking normally and with the apes it is really good, I think they got just the right actor for him. Jane is a really good character. Why!? Because they make her incredibly interesting and she's very identifiable. The rest of the side-characters are pretty good but I wouldn't say they're great. Clayton, and I don't think I'm giving anything away, is obviously the villain. He's not bad as a villain but he's a little boring as a villain. Now when I said this was one of darkest Disney movies I'd ever seen it's because, for one thing it has some of the most intense and scariest Disney deaths ever. Especially Kerchak and Clayton's death. Watch this and you'll know exactly what I mean.
Over all this movie is O.K I guess. I'd say it's worth a few viewings.

My top 10 favourite movies

I know I already said what my favourite movie is in my top 3 film that didn't get a sequel but I think I might of gone a bit overboard with that one because even though you will see that movie on this list again it's not number 1. Let's begin.
10. The original Star Wars trilogy: Now when I say the "original" series I mean the first 3, "A NEW HOPE, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK AND THE RETURN OF THE JEDI." Out of all the characters "Luke Skywalker" is my favourite character. And out of all the movies The Return of the Jedi is my favourite and I love all the films. To me, the prequels will never beat the original.
9. The Spongebob Squarepants movie: Having there be a movie version of my favourite T-V show of all time has to be on this list. Not only are the characters  their usual lovable selves but the atmosphere they give to this movie is just huge and magnificent. Also the voice actors who play the characters in the show also do the same roles in this movie too as well as there being a ton of celebrity cameos who play even more great characters and not to mention the great adventure the writers give the characters is just spectacular. And there's actually another Spongebob movie coming out next year and I'm really excited about seeing it.
8. The Simpsons movie: Now I know it's weird putting this movie over the Spongebob movie considering the fact that I prefer Spongebob to Simpsons and they are both two of my favourite shows ever. But I think what works a bit better for this movie is the fact that this movie feels more like a movie. When I say that I mean this movie takes every advantage it can and doesn't waste a single bit of time it has. Also I think the story for this one is a bit more creative than the Spongebob movie seeing how we go to different locations and while they do that in the Spongebob movie too but I don't know this one just handle it a bit more cleverly and more creatively.
7. Aliens in the Attic: This is the movie I was talking about a minute ago. While I've said before that this my favourite film ever, it isn't. However it is still at least one f my favourite films ever. Not only is it funny but the action is superb and the cast is just right. Also this movie has aliens in it, thus the name "Aliens" in the Attic, they're so awesomely designed and their plan is so ingeniously thought out and so diabolical and the way they talk to the people is so cool to listen to. It's just a great and cool movie.
6. The Lord of the Rings movie series: I'm sure you've heard everyone saying the Lord of the Rings trilogy is one of the most legendary trilogies of all time and I only began watching this trilogy this year and I loved the first one the second it began. The reason I began watching this trilogy is a long story but I'm still going to tell you. I might of already told you about my friends named the "Mitchells" and we've been friends all my life. The mother "Donna" is a nurse and the two of us have been friends for life. One of her son's name is "Sam" and like I just said he and I have also been great friends for life. He's loved Lord of the Rings ever since it came out. One night when I was sleeping over at their house he and one of his friends were watching one of the Lord of the rings movies I kept peaking my head through the window to see them and at one point he saw me and asked if I wanted to come watch it with them but I said no thanks and then he asked if when I was older if I'd watch it. I said yes and now sometime this summer when I was watching something related to Lord of the Rings I remembered that night and I decided to begin watching them. And I absolutely love the movies. They have great characters and a great story, as well as some of the best action ever. Out of all the characters I would say "Frodo" is my favourite character.
5. The Harry Potter movie series: As I've already said in my last entry I explained about how I began to like this series. And it's still one of most favourite movie series of all time. The casting, the characters, the effects and the shots are by far the best things in the whole series. This summer my family and I went to London o go to the making of it. When I say that I mean where the films were made and it was just a gigantic experience. My favourite character is "Harry" himself.
4. Avengers Assemble: The highest grossing comic book film of all time, the greatest comic book film of all time and the biggest combination of superheroes ever movie has earned the number slot on my list. Not only does this have some of the best action you'll ever see, but also it has great directing from Joss Whedon, amazing acting, fantastic visuals, the greatest M.C.U villain yet, Loki, great dialogue, a huge scope and the greatest superhero crossover ever next to the Justice League, and it will forever stand out as the greatest superhero film of all time... so far.
3. Kung-Fu Panda 2: As if I even need to go into much detail. I've talked about this movie 10000 times and I still love it. I don't really think there's much for me to say except I love it and it's still one of my favourite movies ever, as well as my favourite DreamWorks movie and their going to be making a 3rd one in either 2015 or 2016 and I wonder if it'll beat an absolute masterpiece like this.
2. The Princess and the Frog: I've said before how the Princess and the Frog is my favourite 2-D Disney film of all time and I'm putting it as one of my favourite films of all time. I've talked about how the characters are some of the best characters I've ever seen, the story is wildly creative and how great the animation looks. Also I think the villain, the Shadow-man is one of my favourite Disney villains ever. It's a shame I found this movie as late as I did because I defiantly would of put him on my top 5 best Disney villains as number 5. I don't think there's really anything else for me to say except I just think this is a spectacular movie and it's one of my favourite films ever.
And my number 1 favourite movie of all time is... The Toy Story movie series: Yeah, you knew this had to be somewhere on the list. I just really, really, really adore this movie series. It's actually one of the most legendary trilogies of all time next to Lord of the Rings, the original Star wars and Indiana Jones. This is the first "Animated" legendary trilogy and it's easy to see why. It has some of the characters in cinematic history and it has some great acting too. There's nothing more I can say except I love this trilogy and it's my all time favourite movies and movie of all time.

Mulan

When Mulan first came out it was just a modest hit, I mean critics and audiences seemed to say the same thing, it was just O.K. And even today it's still considered to be just O.K. And yeah I think the same way. What's the story? In China the Huns are invading so an army has to be assembled from one man from each family to go and fight. One is a father of a young woman named "Mulan" who is too old and too sick to fight. So she disguises herself as a boy and goes to fight for him. She's accompanied with a Chinese dragon named "Mushu" and while at first she gets on the wrong ends with everyone at first she does manage to win over the crowd, never letting anyone know her secret. So what's good about this movie? Well for starters the characters are pretty good and funny, particularly the army themselves. Mulan herself is O.K, she's nice, she's not one to give-up easily and she does seem to love her father to go do this for him. Mushu is definitely my favourite character, mainly because he's funny and he's played by one of my favourite comedians, "Eddie Murphy" as in the same person who played "Donkey" in "Shrek." And in my opinion, the villain of this movie "Shan Yu" is defiantly one of the darkest and coolest and most menacing villains ever put in a Disney film. His design is awesome, what he does is awesome and even though he has very little dialogue, which I think makes him even more cool, when he does talk it awesome because his voice is so deep and perfect for a villain like this. And also the animation looks good too especially the backgrounds and the animation during the action scenes is great looking. So yeah, I'd definitely say take a look at it.

Hercules

O.K so Pocahontas was the beginning of the downfall of people's interest in Disney animated movies, Hunchback of Notre Dame didn't exactly help... Hercules saved it. I heard a lot of critics liked it and it did do pretty well at the box office. What's the story? It's Greek mythology and all the gods are up on Mount Olympus and "Zeus" is happy because of the birth of his son "Hercules." But "Hades" the god of the underworld wants to see his son get destroyed because he's apparently going to stop him from taking over everything in the future. So he gives him a potion that takes away his godly powers. He sends his two henchmen named "Pain" and "Panic" to give it to him then kidnap him and then kill him. But they mess up and while he doesn't look like a god anymore he still has his strength and an old couple finds him and raise him. Over the years Hercules turns into a boy who seems to be an outcast with everyone except his adoptive parents. He decides to journey on to find out where he truly belongs. He finds out his real father is a god and that he himself has supernatural powers. And so he goes to save the day where ever he can with his incredible strength now as an adult with his flying horse named "Pegasus" and his goat trainer named "Phil." Along the ay he falls in love with a woman named "Megara" or "Meg" for short. But once Hades finds out Hercules is alive he tries to use Meg to take away Hercules' strength and that's exactly what he manages to do. Leaving Hades to release the titans and rule the land and Hercules to try and stop him in which ever way he can. So what's good about this movie seeing how I've said before how it's one of my favourite 2-D Disney animated films ever. Well first off there's a lot of really good comedy in this film, especially with Hercules, Phil (who's my favourite character) and Hades. Just the way they talk and what they say is hilarious. Another thing that I think is really impressive is the animation. It's really bright and even the character design is great. And even the rest of the side-characters like Zeus, Pegasus, Pain, Panic and the towns people of the town "Thebes" that they go to visit are all really fun. Another thing I was impressed with is the action scenes and how fast they ere was what I thought was impressive. And I also found the relationships between the characters was genuine and now I'm going to talk about the characters. Hercules himself is pretty good. He's kind, he's polite and he even does have good relationships with the characters around him. Meg is alright I guess I mean yeah during the beginning she does use Hercules as a way to be free of Hades but I think she does get her redemption at the end when she sacrifices herself to save him. Phil is my favourite character because he's funny and he does have a pretty cool design. Hades is a cool villain as well, he's funny and has a really cool and unique design especially with the fact that he does seem to be powerful. I just think this is a really good film. I'd say this is a defiant watch.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Well having Pocahontas ruin the big grossing 2-D animated Disney films forever I would say choosing a serious dark, scary, creepy and depressing story such as Hunchback of Notre Dame I say was I pretty good idea given the fact that they do it so spectacularly in this version. But with that said I do think this is probably the last Disney film you would want the whole family considering like I just said it's by far the most darkest and depressing out of all Disney family films. So what's the story. A deformed hunchback named "Quasimodo" lives in the bell tower of Notre Dame. He's looked after by a man named "Frollo." Quasimodo just wants to go out into the streets and be accepted like anyone else. And during the Fest of Fools which is a celebration of the Gypsies he get's his chance. And not only is he accepted by he's also celebrated, people love how strange he looks and start having fun with him. It's not 'til the crowd actually turns on him and begin torturing him. But a Gypsy witch named "Esmeralda" goes to save him. But it turns out Frollo is actually in love with her and wants to do everything he can to get her no matter what it takes. However in the original book she's accused of a crime here he's accused from Witch-Craft. So between Frollo wanting her, Quasimodo wanting her and there's also another person named "Phoebus" who is also is wanting her. So what's good about this movie? Well first off the animation is different looking and with what they did with Notre Dame, it looked and so life-like. Even the character animation is spectacular. Let's also look at the characters. Quasimodo himself is a very likable character. He's definitely my favourite character. He's kind, he's gentle, he's light-hearted and even when he was being tortured by the crowd he wasn't really wishing he could get out and attack everyone. Esmeralda is a good character too. She's just like Quasimodo with her being kind and nice and that's the exact same as Phoebus. But then there is FROLLO. Oh my god Frollo is such an awesome, amazing villain. He does all the dreadful things that a lot of the other Disney villains do but what he does and the way he does it is what makes him such a despicable villain. While I've said Quasi is my favourite character I guess Frollo is my favourite character who isn't a good guy, if you know what I mean? I'd say that "Tony Jay," the actor who played him is by far the best actor in the whole film. Even during the song sequence "Hellfire" he manages to do a really great performance. I would say that the best part of the movie is definitely the climax. The animation is just spectacular. Watch these scenes.
It's just great. Though unfortunately the film wasn't big hit at the box office when it first came out in 1996. However it did get a bigger and better audience over the years. As Disney films go it's definitely one of the darkest and probably one of the ones that took the most risks. I know technically from most Disney films go it's not one of the best ones and not really close, but for what it is it is a really good film. I wouldn't recommend all of it but if you do I would give the heads-up of keeping a close eye on some children watching it because it contains some of the most horrific and unnatural things you'd see from a Disney film. I mean they use the word Hell and there are apparently some sex references not to mention scenes involving lust and some really unpleasant scenes. But for what it is I would say watch it and see for yourself.

Pocahontas

So Disney was making 4 of the biggest hits the world has ever seen and when this movie came out, people didn't hate it but they didn't like as much as the other Disney films. They mainly didn't like it that much because they found it to be... well not that interesting. And because of this film, the 2-D animated Disney films would never be able to get the amount of money at the box office the way they did with The little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin and the Lion King once this came out. So, what's the story? The main character is an Indian princess named "Pocahontas" who I'm just gonna say is pretty boring. But one day everything changed when an English governor and his crew came and decided to take over the native Americans land. One of the crew members was a man named "John Smith." He begins to fall in love with Pocahontas as does she to him and one moment when one of John friends shoots one of Pocahontas' friends and John takes the blame for it. From there there's constant misunderstandings that result in capture and death and the governor is actually the villain and all he cares is about nothing but get constant gold and more gold. O.k first let's talk about some of the good things in this movie. First of all some of the songs are nice and decent. There's also the colours of the movie that look pretty good and even the villain isn't that bad. Aside from that however the rest is all just boring. So while I wouldn't say it's not bad I do see the flaws of this movie. I wouldn't say don't see it but if you do you can give it your own opinion on it. For me though I didn't find it entertaining or interesting.

The Lion King

And now we come to the big one, The Lion King, the highest grossing 2-D animated film of all time. When this movie came out everyone and I mean everyone on this planet when nuts. The characters are great, the animation is great, the songs are great, the villain is good and the story is spectacular. And in my opinion this should be on everyone's top 2-D animated Disney movies like it is with mine as you've seen before. What's the story? opening is animals in Africa celebrating the birth of the new lion prince named "Simba" in probably one of the great Disney openings ever. Watch this.
So years go by and Simba grows into a young cub played by "Jonathan Taylor Thomas." He's shown around the kingdom but his father, king "Mufasa" of the pride lands played by "James Earl Jones." But Simba's uncle named "Scar" played by "Jeremy Irons" is angry because he was next in line to be king, so he constantly tries to set traps with the 3 hyenas named "Shensi, Bonsai and Ed" to kill Simba off. But Mufasa is always there to save him so there's only one choice, kill Mufasa. This leads to a very intense and very well-done and very famous chase scene with a bunch of wilder beasts. Simba is trying to un from 100s of wilder beasts and at one point Mufasa go in to help him. He manages to get Simba to a safe place but he tries to climb up himself. Scar sees his opportunity and throws him off a cliff. (Which for me always raised a lot of questions. How did he die from that? In mean did he die from falling from a big height? Did he die because of the amount of wilder beasts kept stomping on his head? Did he die because when he hit the ground he hit his head hard?) Anyway, Simba, thinking he started the stampede feels incredibly guilty and scar advises him to run away. Simba then goes into exile and comes across a team of two best friends named "Timon" played by "Nathan Lane" and "Pumbaa" played by "Ernie Sabella." They tell him it's O.K to run away from your problems and start a new life over. And that's exactly what he does he spends most of his years growing-up with the two until he becomes an adult played by "Matthew Brodrick." He decides to never go back to Pride rock. That is until his old childhood friend named "Nala" played by "Moira Kelly" shows up and tells him that things are terrible back at Pride rock because Scar took over as king. And since he is the rightful king he's the only one who can go back and make things better. But Simba doubts himself thing he still killed his father until he get's a vision in the sky as his father telling him to remember who he is and telling him what he most do. Simba then decided to go back and fight Scar after then talking with a baboon named "Rafiki" played by "Robert Guillaume." And you know the rest, big climax, comedy then the final fight between Simba and Scar. O.K what's good about this movie. Well for one thing the characters are great particularly the voice actors. In my opinion I'd say James Earl Jones as Mufasa is the best casting in this movie. The animation is some of the best Disney has ever done. Even just the size of this movie is gigantic. And there's actually two messages in here that are actually does pretty well. The main message is to just try your best to find your place in life and never give-up. The mini-message is to always confess what you've done and if you do eventually everyone will be happy again. The story is one of the best things in this movie. I mean it's supposed to be a kid version of an adult play called "Hamlet." They don't even just shove the dead person aside like in a few other Disney movies, no here you see Mafasa's dead body. That must of been a gigantic thing for people back then. Particularly since Disney did it. So overall I really love this movie it has ever right to be the highest grossing 2-D film in history because it's just a spectacular film. I'd say this is a definite watch.

Aladdin

Aladdin was another one of the 4 Disney movies that made Disney a big name including The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King. What's the story? Aladdin is a thief who's trying to survive while living on the streets with his pet monkey named "Abu." He comes across a princess named "Jasmine" who's trying to get away from the palace to make a life for her own. But he get's captured by a sorcerer named "Jafar" and he tricks Aladdin into searching for a magic lamp. In the cave where he goes searching for it he meets a magic flying carpet and of course the genie of the lamp named "Genie" played by Robin William. So he goes back to his village called "Agrabah" wishing to turn himself into a prince. This allows him the chance to marry Jasmine but Jafar won't let it happen he tries to kill Aladdin and take the lamp away from him so he can use Genie for his own evil plans. From here on in it's action, comedy, sword-fighting, monsters and a happy ending. O.k so what's good about this movie. Well for one thing the animation in this is really spectacular and even the colours are wonderfully used in this. There' a lot of comedy in this especially out of Robin Williams' performance of the joke-making Genie. (P.S. I'm pretty sure you've all heard of Robin Williams' recent tragic death.) Aladdin himself in a fun character. He's a rascal bit still has kindness and a good heart. Jasmine is a sweet normal kind-hearted Disney princess who is nice and has innocents to her. Her father, the Sultan is a funny. enjoyably stupid character. Jafar is pretty cool and his parrot "Iago" is pretty funny to. Just to give you a hint as to why this is a funny movie just watch these scenes.
Genie is my favourite character because he's so energetic and funny. The songs are also really awesome. This is definitely a great movie and it's family friendly. It's entertain so I say that's than enough to recommend it.

Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast is said to be one of the greatest Disney Movies ever and yeah I guess I do agree but it's not one of my favourites or even close. But doesn't mean I don't like it, I do. What's the story? In a castle lives a selfish, greedy and vain prince. One night an enchantress comes to his castle and turns him into a beast for treating her so cruel. He was given a magic rose that is slowly wilting away. If he can learn to fall in love and be loved in return before the last petal falls off he'll go back to human. Then we meet a young woman named "Belle." She's the strangest person in her town because she's the prettiest one there but she doesn't taunt herself around. She doesn't hang out with other woman flirting with men, she just read her books and doesn't bother anyone which confuses a very strange town. That is except for "Gaston." In any other Disney movie he'd probably be the hero. But here he's the villain. He's admired Belle for a long time and wants to marry her. But when Belle turns him down he swears to have her as his wife. While that's going on Belle's father named "Maurice" leaves town for an invention convention but find himself at the Beast's castle. But the Beast says he's trespassing and throws him in the dungeon, where Belle finds him later. She makes a deal with the Beast saying she'll stay if he let's Maurice go. The Beast agree and let's Maurice go. While the Beast sees this as an opportunity to finally fall in love he's not very social, in fact he's... well Beastly. But after an incident where the Beast save Belle's life from a pack of wolves she begins to see some good in him. From there there's romance, sadness, action and magic. When people first saw this movie in 1991 they fell in love with it. It was even the only animated film to be nominated for best picture. First let's look at the good stuff. The animation in this looks different. It more smooth, more fluid and more bright and I found it to be really spectacular. Let's also look at the characters. Belle is an enjoyable character. She's kind, smart and just does her own thing. She has a realistic kind of personality which makes her seem more 3-dimentional. And she's definitely one of the best Disney female leads next to Tiana from the Princess and the Frog. The Beast is defiantly the best written character of the movie. He has a defiant personality that does improve over time and you do get to like him more and more as the movie goes on. Gaston is an entertaining villain. He's self-centred, self obsessed and funny. And at first he doesn't start as a villain, just as a jerk. Also I really do like the design of the Beast. He looks an awful like a giant sized were-wolf. Now let's get to my problems with the movie. At first I thought the first few more was pretty boring and some things kind of pointless. Another problem I have with the movie is that something's that Belle and the Beast do are pretty weird and un necessary. My one last problem is the design of the human version of the Beast. But aside from that I think this movie is really spectacular. The songs are great, the animation is great and not just the main characters but the side characters are really memorable. It's just a great movie. This definite watch.

The Little Mermaid

After the huge disappointment of The Black Cauldron Disney got on this huge kick. Not only were they going to turn out better movies but they were going to do it fast. Witch meant the films were starting to come out every single year. And "The Little Mermaid" was the movie that started hit after hit after hit again and again. This movie went back to the kind of real Disney animation. What's the story? It about a Mermaid named "Ariel" a 16 year old girl who's abscessed with being on dry land. Her father named "King Triton" forbids it but then she falls in love with a human prince named "Eric." After Ariel saves his life in a storm she decides that she absolutely wants to become human so that she can be with him. So she sells her voice to "Ursula" the sea witch and gets herself legs. But now she can't tell Eric who she is. So during the two days they're together they slowly begin to fall in love with each other. However while they're doing that going on, Ursula is plotting her way to get control of the Underwater world. O.K first let's look at the good stuff. Like I said before the animation is back to the kind of animation Disney used to and boy is it spectacular. Let's also look at the characters. Ariel herself is a determined, head-strong, hopeless romantic, generic and modern kind of girl character who is likable. Eric is a kind, kind of hopeless but still likable guy. There's a crab named "Sebastian" who's a worrywart but funny and likable. There's a fish named "Flounder" who's a worrywart, fun-loving and kind of naĂ¯ve person who's likable. Ursula like I've said before is one of my favourite Disney villains and yeah there's a reason. She's great. Much like Ratigan she just so enjoys what's she's doing. Even her psycho moments like in her song sequence she's really enjoyable to watch because of the speed she's going at and craziness she's keeping up when she's doing all of her things. The music is also spectacular, The songs are memorable and really enjoyable to listen to. As for me, I still really enjoy this movie.

The Great Mouse Detective

The Great Mouse Detective is a movie I only found this year and it's a really good and really fun movie. What's the story? A little mouse girl named "Olivia" get's her father kidnapped by a bat named "Fidget." She tries to get him back and come across a mouse named "Dawson" and they both find a detective mouse named "Basil of Baker Street" who actually lives in Sherlock Holmes house. They're off to not only find Olivia's father but also stop an evil rat named "Ratigan." His plan is to have Olivia's father who's an inventor to create a robotic Queen so Ratigan can replace the real one at some kind of ceremony where the robotic queen would then name Ratigan the ruler of the mouse land. O.K so what's good about the movie. Well honestly the best thing about this movie is the main character and the main villain, Basil and Ratigan. Basil is a really, really good character. He's egotistical but still very likable. He's energised, he's kooky, he's tenuous, he's a jerk at some moment's but still has a good heart. And not to mention he's incredibly smart. And then there's Ratigan. This villain is really funny. And on top off that he's really fun. He's egotistic, he's selfish, he prances around, he giggles. He just enjoys being nasty so much that it's hard not to enjoy it along with him. Let's also talk about the animation, it's really good. Actually this is actually the first animated movie that used computer animation in it. So yeah I'd say check it out. It's really fun and funny that is enjoyable to watch.

The Black Cauldron

I have very mixed feelings about The Black Cauldron. People say that this is probably one of the worst Disney films ever but I don't know about that. I mean I do agree it's probably a bad movie but I still found a little entertainment in it but not really that much. What's the story? It's about a teenage boy named "Taren" who wants to be a warrior hero. Except he's much more talk and much less do. And boy I mean really, really talk I mean I can't remember one second of this movie where I didn't hear him talk. And voice is annoying. He barely even does anything in this movie. The main thing he does is praise himself and that's it. Even his design is weird. Anyway, he's looking after this pig named "Hen Wen" who has the ability that whenever you put her head in water she can see the future. Apparently there's this evil demon known as "The Horned King" and he wants to kidnap Hen Wen so he can get her to look into the future to see if she can lead him to the "Black Cauldron." The Black Cauldron is a devise that can bring dead people back to life and create an invincible destructive army. Along Taren's journey to protecting Hen Wen he comes across a princess. And in my opinion, making her a princess is absolutely stupid. Why!? Because we see absolutely nothing that has to do with her being a princess. The name is the only thing she's got and that's it, nothing else. O.k so let's look at the characters. Taren is incredibly annoying. He barley does anything, he's egocentric and he's a complete wimp  in some scenes. There's also this really annoying and weird comic relief named "Gurgy" who's design is really disgusting. And he has one of the most annoying voices ever. Even The Horned King at first I thought he looked really cool. Even his introduction was cool and creepy. But his voice ruined it for me. He barely does anything either. So yeah I've said a lot of bad things about this movie and while it does deserves to be called bad I will say there is so tiny fun things in it but aside from that this movie is just bad and in my opinion I'd definitely skip this one.

The Fox and the Hound

When I was a kid The Fox and the Hound was one of the rarest movies I could ever see. I mean I did watch it a few times when I was little and I did like watching every time but it was a bit hard to get a hold of it and watch it. So now year later I actually found t to be pretty good. What's the story? A little fox's mother get's killed and then the fox is founded by an old lady an she takes him in. Unfortunately she lives right next door to a hunter who's the exact same person who killed the fox's mother. The hunter has a dog and adopts a little puppy named "Copper." One day when the fox named "Tod" is playing around he sees Copper and they immediately become the best of friends despite the fact that everyone is telling them they're going to be the worst of enemies in the future. But they keep playing and having fun and getting into trouble. That's not until the Hunter takes Copper and the other dog away for a long, long time and he becomes a professional hunting dog. And the woman decides she can't hold onto Tod anymore and let's him go in the wild. Copper tells Tod the friendship they once had can no longer be and through an accident with a train Tod injures the other dog and Copper vows revenge. So now the two of them are out to get each other and see who'll come out on top. The story is pretty good particularly with the setup. Tod and Copper themselves aren't bad, they certainly have very unique personalities. Actually they are jut like real kids except the fact that they are both animals. I actually found my favourite characters were the side characters. They're funny and they have their own form of identity. The hunter is the villain and while he isn't bad villain he is pretty boring and a weak one. However I will say he does get his redemption at the end. Actually yeah, the big scene after a really intense climax is a really good payoff scene. However I would say this movie is hat good. I mean I'll admit it does have some flaws especially when I think some scenes could be stronger. For example, when the dog is hit by the train I kept wondering why didn't he die. In opinion this movie would of been a lot more powerful if that dog died. However as a film I thinks it's O.K. I don't it's fantastic or spectacular but it's alright. I definitely say take a look.

The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh

Who doesn't love Winnie The Pooh. Heck he's one of the best Disney characters ever simply with nice & innocent. Another few things that makes him so likable is that while he is very optimistic he does make mistakes and he does get in trouble. He's very, very naĂ¯ve but he's also very pleasant. And it all started with this film, The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh. The other supporting characters are so famous I don't even have to named them. You all know them. "Kanga, Roo, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl and Christopher Robin. The story is very loose and that there's not that much of a flowing narrative mainly because there's a bunch of stories. In my opinion this is the most slow paced Disney film. But that's O.K because all of these characters are so interesting and nice you really do enjoy spending time with them. I really like Disney movies like that. They just let you enjoy the characters you're with and you really do enjoy being with these guys. Pooh is my favourite character. I especially like the ending. There's no big climax or chase scene. It's just Pooh and Christopher Robin walking and talking about the inevitability of the future. It's a really strong ending especially with what they're talking about. It makes me feel like I'm in my imagination every time I watch it.

Robin Hood

Robin Hood was another Disney film my sister wanted me to watch and yeah it's pretty good. What's the story? Well having it be Robin Hood it does follow the story pretty well. "Robin Hood" robs from the rich and gives to the poor in order to defeat "Prince John." He's in love with the princess "Maid Marian" and tries to win an archery contest but get's caught in the progress. From here on in it's sword fighting, archery, stealing and probably one of the best Disney climaxes ever. The action is great. Despite it being animated I would say these action scenes are pretty intense. Robin himself is a pretty basic nice hero and a very likable one at that. And the same with Maid Marian. She's just your typical nice princess. Though I never  got why they never added her in the third act at least until the very end when her and Robin get married. Anyway, the villain is Prince John and he's a very fun and comedic villain especially when talking to his sidekick snake named "Hiss." Prince John is also a very babyish villain and that leads to a lot of funny moments especially his arguments with Hiss. While watching it again I actually found the "Sherriff of Nottingham" is pretty funny too. He is just such a jerk-ass with the various ways he'll find to steal money from people. He'll even go so far as to rob a blind person, that has to be one of the most evilest things I've ever seen in a Disney movie. And like I said the climax is one of the best in all of Disney history as well a one of the mot suspenseful ones. Over all Robin Hood is a pretty good kids adventure movie. It's entertaining for everyone.

The Aristo Cats

I can't give my review on this film unless I tell you a little backstory about myself and this movie. All my life my brother and sister, especially my sister have been asking me to watch this film because they said they absolutely loved it. And after a long time I finally sat down and watched it recently and I have to say... it wasn't bad. What's the story? In Paris a butler named "Edger" works for a old rich woman. One day he discovers that he's going to inherit a bunch of cats. And it turns out he hates cats. He's allergic to tem and can't stand them. So that night he tries to get rid of them so he can inherit the woman's money. There're actually these 2 funny dogs and there's actually a pretty entertaining chase scene with them and Edger. Edger loses the basket that the cats were in and the rest of the movie is the cats named "Duchess and her kitten children Toulouse, Marie and Berlioz" trying to get home with the help of another cat they meet named "Thomas O'Malley." So what exactly is it that I like about this movie? Well for one thing the main characters are likable. And also the animation isn't that bad. Actually another thing I thought was pretty good is the voice acting, especially with actors they got to play the five cats I've already mentioned. Edger, and I don't think I'm spoiling anything, is obiviously the villain and boy is he a really boring one. His motivation is just basic. It's just greed. However he does have his fun and funny moments too. Aside from that this movie isn't perfect because I do think there are some little weird and not that good moments. And nor is it one of my favourites nor is it even close, but it is pretty good. Watch it and you'll know what I'm talking about.

The Jungle Book

I heard somewhere that The Jungle Book was actually the last Disney movie made while Walt Disney himself was still a live. What's the story? In a Jungle a baby is found and for all his life he's raised by a pack of wolves. One day when he's a boy the evil Tiger "Shere Khan" is coming to the Jungle. Shere Khan hates man and the wolves know he'll kill the boy named "Mowgli" if he ever finds him. So a panther named "Bagheera" to the man-village. Mowgli however doesn't want to go. He wants to stay in the Jungle and tries every chance he can to get away from him. Along the way he comes across a friendly bear named "Baloo", a marching elephant army, a crazy ape King named "King Louie", a hypnotising Snake named "Kaa" and of course the villain of the movie, Shere Khan. Let's talk about the good stuff first. The best thing in this movie is Shere Khan. He's a really great villain. We barely see him do anything but the amount of build up they have on him is so awesome. He just comes off as pretty intimidating. The only thing he fears is fire, and yeah that's pretty odd. But aside from that, he's really cool. The rest of the characters are O.K I guess and they are entertaining. The snake Kaa, though he isn't a main villain is actually entertaining and cool too. One of the best thing about him is that he's so long and they take advantage with making jokes with that. Mowgli is nice to be around and he is a pretty decent character. Baloo I have to say is my favourite character. I know that it's odd with me saying that seeing how I said Shere Khan was the best thing about this movie I'd say Baloo is my favourite character who's not a bad guy. As it is The Jungle Book is O.K. I'd say take a look at it.

101 Dalmatians

I only found this one recently and I have to say I found it to be not bad but kind of boring a little bit. What's the story? One night a female and male Dalmatian dogs are about to get puppies. The husband and wife and the maid wait until the puppies are born and when they are everyone is happy. Just then a woman named "Cruella De Vil" comes to the house to try to buy the puppies to turn them all into fur coats. The husband and wife refuse to hand them over so late that night Cruella sends her henchmen to kidnap all 15 of the puppies. The race is then on for "Pongo" and "Perdita", the two grown up dogs to get them back as well as the other 86 puppies she kidnapped. The best thing in this movie is Cruella De Vil (which, ever since the live-action version has become one of the most infamous villains of all time.) She's just a really fun villain. It's a great design on her, it's this weak, fragile woman under this gigantic hairy, monstrous fur coat. It actually is a really cool design. And the character herself is fun. Constantly screaming and yelling while trying to be fabulous while she's doing it. The other characters are O.K I guess and while I said this movie a bit boring I meant the beginning is a bit but the rest of it I don't have a problem with. I don't really know what else to say. I mean it's not great but also not horrible. It has some O.K characters, a fun villain and actually, some pretty nice animation. Take it for what it is, I just don't think I'd see it again.

Sleeping Beauty

I'd said this before too that this is one of my favourite 2-D animated Disney films and yeah like with Peter Pan it still is. What's the story? One day the Princess "Aurora" is born and they have a party to celebrate her birth. The 3 good fairies "Flora, Fauna and Merryweather" come to give her magical gifts. Before Merryweather can give her gift the evil villain "Maleficent" comes and curses her saying that before the sun sets on Aurora's 16th birthday she shall prick her finger on the spindle of a pinning wheel and die. Maleficent then leaves then Merryweather casts a spell to make her sleep instead of dying if she does prick her finger. Flora, Fauna and Merryweather take her to the forest to raise her as their own to keep her away from Maleficent. First let's look at the good stuff. The animation seems to be a different from other Disney films. I actually heard it was supposed to be the only Disney film to have the animation mainly be inked. I found it to be pretty nice. The fairies are also great characters. And like I've said before there's Maleficent, the greatest Disney villain ever. The music in the movie is great too. It has some really memorable songs to as well as some great climax music, in fact I found the climax itself to be one of the best Disney Climaxes ever. Now the stuff that doesn't work for me. For example the main characters Aurora and prince Philip are really bland characters. Aurora doesn't do anything in this movie and not to mention Philip doesn't get a line to say after half of the movie is over which I found to be a real disappointment because I thought the voice actor did do a good job of making him likable. Also Aurora has barely any character in her. There's also a lot of things that aren't needed in this. I think this movie really liked it's side-characters a lot more. Most of the time we're watching the fairies or Maleficent or and King Stefan and King Hubert. A lot also seems like filler to me. However with despite that flaw I do like this movie and it still one of my favourites. The villain is great, the fairies are great, the animation is great, the music is great and the climax is great. I have seen this movie a bunch of time and I have liked it every single time. And I know I'll never forget it anytime soon.

Lady and the Tramp

I actually only saw this movie recently. I mean I've heard about it for years and years but I never found it. And yeah when I saw it I really liked it. What's the story? Well one Christmas a husband give his wife a female puppy as a present named "Lady." For a while they play with her but they begin to play with her less and less when she overhears them talking about a baby. One day a male dog named "Tramp" tells her that once the baby comes she'll never be noticed the way she was before. But then he leaves. One day after the baby does arrive the husband and wife take a trip and ask Aunt Sarah to babysit. At one point her cats destroy the house and she blames Lady for it and tosses her out. From there a bunch of stuff happens. Lady herself is O.K actually I found her to be pretty entertaining. Tramp is O.K too. Sure he's a tiny bit full of himself and a bit of a rascal but still has some innocents and likability. The cats names are "Si and Am" and they're the villains of the movie. As villains they are fun and they have that really entertaining "Siamese" villain song.
Though I would of loved to of seen more of them in the movie. The rest of the characters are O.K too but again I would of liked to of seen more. The ending is what makes this film really entertaining. Watch it and you'll know what I'm talking about. So I liked the movie. I don't know if I'd see it that many times again but it was really enjoyable once.

Peter Pan

I've said this before about how Peter Pan is one of my favourite 2-D animated Disney films and it still is. I've actually always thought that this version of Peter Pan is sort of like every boys fantasy I mean think about it you've got Pirates, you've go flying, Indians, far away lands and mermaid. For what the story is Disney does it pretty well. Obviously they put in some changes but they still get the characteristics of these characters down really well. What's the Story? One night Peter Pan goes to the Darling family house where he meets a girl named Wendy, a boy named John and a toddler named Michael. He brings them to Neverland where he a bunch of odd things live. There they meet Indians, mermaids and of course the pirates with the villain Captain Hook. Pan himself is very cocky and sure of himself and yeah he is a tiny bit too much of a smart-aleck. Wendy is actually voice by the actress who played Alice and she makes this an entertain character to like she did Alice. John and Michael are O.K characters. Like I've said before Captain Hook is a really entertaining and funny villain. Tinker Bell is also an O.K character who also gets her redemption at the end, and the Indians are also really fun. They have a song number that's fun too. Peter Pan seems to get the children movie adventure down pretty well. Girls can get into the romance and the mermaids where the boys can enjoy the flying, sword fights, the pirates and the Indians a bit more. It's just a really fun kids movie.

Alice in wonderland

Disney's version Alice in is the only version I know of it. But that's not bad version to think of. What's the story? Well having it be Alice in Wonderland it is pretty simple. A little girl named "Alice" falls into a magic rabbit hole and ends up in "Wonderland." She tries to find a walking talking white rabbit and on the way she comes across a bunch of mysterious things like The Mad Hatter, The Cheshire Cat and the villain for the movie The Queen Of Hearts. There's a lot of weird things in this movie like the animation in this is pretty odd but not bad and even the designs and the way a lot of these characters are pretty odd especially with how they move. Alice herself is an entertaining character especially the voice actress is pretty good. I actually found a lot of personality with her. I mean she's polite, nice but can be pushed to her limits. I would of loved to have seen more of her because if they did she would of been a bit more entertaining. But for what we gotshe's O.K. The queen is an O.K villain I guess I mean yeah I found her to be boring too but I also found her to be pretty funny especially when she has a serious anger issue. Most of the backgrounds in this is really dark. In fact yeah most of Wonderland is black and dark. But when we get to the bright and colourful parts it's great because it's very rarely we'd see it. I really like the characters that Alice meets. They're funny and they're mysterious. As the Disney films go I'd say this one is O.K. It's not one of my favourites but it's alright.

My top 5 sequels of all time

5. All the Harry Potter sequels: I know this might be cheating seeing that it's 7 sequels but I really love all the Harry Potter sequels. My favourite one and favourite Harry Potter movie is the last one. There's great action, acting, C.G.I, green screen effect and great characters. As I've said before Harry himself is my favourite character.
4. Shrek 2: I know I said Shrek the third is my favourite Shrek movie but after looking over them again I actually found Shrek 2 to be the best, it's funny, emotional, character based, memorable and great. While watching it again recently I found more of the jokes in it and I noticed some other thing I hadn't noticed before. And so mainly the reason I put this here is because it's funny, likable and great.
3. All the Kingdom Hearts sequels: You could say this is cheating too seeing how there video game sequels, but you know what!? I don't care. These sequels are so fantastic and brilliant and perfect. My personal favourite is Dream Drop Distance as I've said before. And, in my opinion Sora is the best character as I've also said before. These games are so fantastic I don't even know what else to say.
2. Kung Fu Panda 2: Yeah I've said this before and if I haven't said THIS before I'm saying it now, this is my favourite DreamWorks movie. It has great action, acting, comedy, characters and a great villain. Po is my favourite character through the entire series. Even the story itself I think is really unique.
And my number 1 favourite sequel of all time is... Toy Story 3: You knew something Pixar related had to make the list somewhere and I'm putting it as number 1. As I've said a bunch of times Toy Story 3 is my favourite of the Toy Story series and it's my favourite Pixar movie. As I've said before, Buzz is my favourite character through the entire series. So if I even need to say anything else, Toy Story 3 is by far my favourite sequel of all time.

Cinderella

I know I skipped over some other Disney classics but some I haven't seen a lot of the previous ones so I'm going to Cinderella. Actually the six movies before this were only 40 or 50 minutes long so they didn't have a flowing narrative so when they were doing this they knew they had to get back to a flowing story and a Fairy tale. What's the story? A woman named Cinderella has been turned into a maid by her evil Stepmother and Stepsisters. A bunch of animals help her out and try to make her world a joy. But when the night of the ball comes and she isn't allowed to go her Fairy Godmother comes and gives her a dress and a carriage to make it out there. My guess is that they were trying to return to the routes of Snow White with the young woman, a prince, a bunch of tiny animals helping out, a simplistic villain and a bit of magic. Cinderella herself is O.K I guess. She doesn't really do much but I do think there is some patients with her and she does manage to find some happiness in her everyday world kind of thing I do think that that's enough to say she's alright. Lady Tremaine is the name of the Stepmother and she's obviously the villain. And yeah much like the evil Queen she's a pretty boring one too. The rest of the characters are alright I guess though I wouldn't say they're great ones. So I'd say take a look at it.

Pinocchio

While Snow White was based on emotion and a fairy tale Pinocchio is kinda similar. However this one is based on a book. Where in a fairy tale world you know weird things can happen at any time and yeah this world does that pretty well here. What's the story? An old Wood carver named "Geppetto" makes a puppet boy and wished one night that he was real and the Blue Fairy comes and makes it's happen. "Pinocchio" as the puppet is called comes across a lot of adventures and creatures and a lot of lessons a long the way. Pinocchio is a likable character. Sure he does do things that he shouldn't but he does learn his lesson and he does try to do better. He has a conscience named Jiminy Cricket who, in my opinion, is one of the greatest Disney characters ever. I can't really explain why I just really, really like this guy. The animation is really upped in this movie just like how it was in Snow White. But there everything turned out O.K here everything isn't always O.K. A bunch of misbehaving boys are brought to an amusement park where they're turned into Donkeys where they're going to be used in mining shafts, and that's it, you never see them again. No one knows what they're doing to them and the guy who's doing this to them is never defeated. It's really grim if you ask me. The message is pretty old probably because of how old this movie is. The message is for kids, telling them that if you wish hard enough all your problems will go away. Though I don't really think kids would fall for that kind of thing. I mean kids are always going to be aware that there's bad things in the world. There's going to be things they're going to be afraid of and that wishing isn't going to solve their problems. Witch is a simple thing because this movie feels like a symbol of hope rather than a case of a gigantic message all it's own if you know what I mean. Over all Pinocchio is a fun and family friendly movie with good characters so yeah I recommend it and enjoying it.

Snow White and the seven Dwarfs

Remember when I said was going to review the 2-D animated Disney movies? I'm going to do that now. I'm only going to do the ones I've seen and liked so not all of them. I'm going to start with first animated film ever Snow White and the seven Dwarfs. Having it be the first animated film ever it makes sense making it a fairy tale. So what's the story? Well it being the first one I guess it is pretty is simple. An evil queen wants to be the "Fairest of them all" but finds out there's only one person in her way, the princess "Snow White." So one day she sends a hunter to kill her but he can't do it because she's the princess so he tells Snow White to run away. Along the way she finds a cottage filled with seven Dwarfs who welcome her into their lives. But once the queen finds out Snow White is still alive she transforms herself into an old hag and makes a poised apple to kill her. The story is as basic as you can imagine. Every half of it is for children and adult. Children can get into the story and the characters while the adults might find themselves sucked into the artwork, colours and the scary and creepy imagery. In fact yeah having it be as old as it is and it able to throw in this really creepy stuff is really impressive. Snow White herself is an O.K character. I mean there isn't anything fascinating about her but she is kind, she is patient and she isn't the kind to raise her voice at anything easily. The Dwarfs are what everyone remembers. The way they're animated, their personalities and the fact that their emotion status also happens to be their names. The queen is obviously the villain and yeah she's a pretty boring one. I mean she doesn't do or say much, so yeah that pretty much explains it. What keeps her going is the animation on her. She's just drawn great. And the design on her after the transformation is another thing that people remember about this movie. So really there's a lot of things to admire and a lot of things and characters to like. Having this be the first animated film ever this is really, really impressive. I'd say that's a lot of reason why it worth being looked at.

My Kingdom Hearts top 10 or 5

Top 5 characters.

5. Riku: Riku once turned over to the darkness, but afterwards he came to his senses and became good again and is the sign of redemption. And because of it he got his own keyblade.

4. Ventus: Ventus or “Ven” as he’s called, is a good person through and through, caring for his friends first and never sub coming to the darkness and helping people.

3. Roxas: Nobody to the true hero of the season and I have to say that they probably made the best actor and the most “Human” character out of all the characters in the series, able to display a full range of emotions anywhere, be it, sorrow, happiness, joy, entertainment even to despair.

2. King Mickey: A small keyblade wielder who is a good example of caring for his kingdom and being a good king and being a true friend to his people and all those he knows. Also, how do you take a cartoon character loved by kids for centuries and make him so awesome? Make him a main character and give him a golden keyblade.

1. Sora: A true example of good, a true friend to everyone he meets and rescuing many, many people from their sorrow. After losing his home, his heart, his friends and his family, Sora can put a smile on his face anytime, anywhere. Being a symbol of everything good plus everything he’s been through to get to where he is now is a lot to handle for a person who even has a had to fight some of his friends to mostly the death is a big responsibility. He can be impulsive at times but in the end he’s in the right place. Everyone should look to Sora as an idol like me. And remember to always put a smile on your face ‘cause deep down there always is one. He really is the light in the darkness. He saved countless lives, worlds and he’ll save more in the future.

Top 5 worlds.

5. Twilight town: The music in this world is beautiful. The space around to do anything is greatly handled and the mini games are also good. And it was pretty cool. A large place but barely any people in this place, sometimes you’d think the only people living there was Roxas and his friends.

4. Travers Town: The fights here were really easy and it was also easy to get level-ups and it was also cool to see that there were more locations to go to in Dream Drop Distance.

3. Hallow Bastian: The one in Kingdom hearts 1 was horrible… but in number 2 the place was a million times better. In the first game it was like a maze but with 2 it redeemed itself with changing the entire appearance of it and made all the places easier to go to. The fights and team-ups were just great and even Sora by himself was pretty affective for him. Not to mention that there are so many awesome and amazing Kingdom hearts moments in it.

2. The Olympus Coliseum (Herculeses’ world): Running around was fun and the mini-game were enjoyable too. There seemed to always have different locations in every game. Going to the underworld and doing competitions to win cups were also cool to do. Every kingdom hearts game had this world in it except for Dream Drop Distance.

1. Disney Castle: You could go to this world only in kingdom hearts 2 but it doesn’t matter. This world is awesome. Every time I play kingdom hearts 2 I’m always excited to go to here. There are good fights, twists and a great happy ending. Not to mention there are also some really funny bits in it here and there.

Top 7 kingdom hearts games.

7. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days: This is my least favourite of all the games. They had many plots that were never explained until the next 2 games and the graphics were horrible.

6. Birth by sleep: The graphic were good in this game but the story is based 10 years before Sora and all the others grew-up. You would miss them here too since it would be the first time you meet the new characters, Terra, Aqua and Ventus.

5. Re coded: This game wasn’t bad but like 358/2 days the graphic were really bad. But at the end you learn something great for the story itself. Not all the fights were good but they’re really exciting to do.

4. Re Chain of memories. This game was good but it was too fast pasted and the only way you could attack was by using cards. Sora became really mean to Donald and Goofy at one point and this was one example of seeing that Sora was a bit head-strong, stubborn, rash, emotional and very impulsive.

3. Kingdom Hearts 1: This was a perfect start to the story. Showing the character’s personality and showing what the whole plot to the story and also showing what was going to happen in the next game. There’s some stuff that was wrong with it like it was an incomplete game and most of the worlds were a bit difficult. But otherwise it was really enjoyable.

2. Kingdom Hearts 2: This was the longest of all the Kingdom hearts games so far and it was worth the wait. Most of the graphics didn’t work at times but it was fantastic and the story was great through and through. Not the best I‘ve played, but it was defiantly impressive.

1. Dream Drop Distance: Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance was my favourite so far because the story was entertaining, the platforming and graphics were about 99% perfect and not to mention you could play as both Sora and Riku. The one down fall it had was the fact that Riku becomes a keyblade master at the end but Sora doesn’t because during the test Sora falls to darkness and Riku saves him, even though Riku once fell to the darkness and Sora rescued him. Also there were great twists and a lot of questions were answered perfectly.

Top 10 favourite boss fights.

10. Barbossa (Pirates of the Caribbean): This fight is fun. You get to beat this dude up and you get to use moves you can’t use any other time in the game.

9. Oggie Boggie (The nightmare before Christmas): This bag of bugs was a terrible villain. He’s so easy to beat and at some points he made terrible jokes. But the fights were different in a good way so it was really fun.

8. Pete (Steamboat Willie): Like Oggie Boggie Pete was a terrible villain. We fought him multiple times and he was just down right pathetic and he was never impressive at all in any of the fights. He’s such a cry-baby and he never was impressive in any fight we had with him. But again the fights were different and cool.

7. Scar (The lion king): In this world Sora becomes a lion cub and holds his keyblade in his mouth. The fight against Scar was awesome. You use weird attacks and move that were cool and you also get to use magic in a funny way.

6. Shen Yu (Mulan): I love this movie. The action was great and the characters were all really well developed. When you fight Shen Yu it’s just fun, awesome and cool. Doing long and mid-range attacks were a great advantage.

5. Rinzler/Tron (Tron/Tron Legacy): Rinzler aka. Tron was once an ally to Sora and now you have him to the death. This fight was really impressive. I have to say this right away. I think this fight really does develop Sora since at first he didn’t want to fight him but then one of his friends he made at that place known as the “Grid” named Quorra was going to be killed by Rinzler but before that Sora said some things to him that allowed Quorra to escape and tell Sora that he has to fight him ‘cause he might get through to him and restore him. He did succeed, but a person named “CLU” changed him back to being Rinzler. But like I said this fight is awesome.

4. Captain Hook (Peter Pan): Captain Hook is a villain I love because he’s hilarious. His attacks were cool and he showed me a good time smacking him around.

3. Riku/Ansem: Riku is Sora’s best friend and having to fight Ansem inside Riku’s body was a huge twist for me. When I first fought this boss battle it took me 2 times to defeat him. It was pretty good.

2. Sephiroth (Final Fantasy 7): Sephiroth is really, really, really difficult to beat. He’s super strong and it took me 6 years to finally beat him. He used abilities beyond your imagination. His sword is humongous. I was relieved when I finally kicked his butt.

1. M.C.P & Sark (Tron): These two bosses at the same time were awesome. You have to knock Sark out and then attack the M.C.P. These bosses were also like bugs in a computer.

Top 5 Keyblades.

5. Kingdom Key: The first ever shown Keyblade and its introduction of it were brilliant and very well handled.

4. Ultra Key: This key’s stats are really good. You can both make and earn this key.

3. Oblivion Key: A key both found and given is awesome. It’s said to be one of the strongest keys ever and I agree. It’s not the best in my opinion but I’ll get to that in a sec.

2. Fenrio Key: The key you get after you’ve defeated Sephiroth that looks like Cloud’s buster sword from Final Fantasy is both strong and very, very awesome looking

1. Unbound Key: A key from Dream Drop Distance you get after you’ve completed all the secret portals. It’s strong, magic balanced well and cool looking.

Top 5 worlds hoping to see in Kingdom Hearts 3.

5. The Princess and the frog: Having this be my favourite 2-D animated Disney film I would like to see a world from this and I know how the story could go. Maybe Sora, Donald and Goofy could land in the swamp of New Orleans while Tiana, Naveen, Louis and Ray are headed to Mama Odie's house and so they ask them if they can come with them and along the way they fight Heartless and when they get there Mama Odie tells them what to do and when they're on the boat Naveen tells Sora, Donald and Goofy about his "feelings" for Tiana and he asks them not to tell her. When they get there some stuff goes by until the end where you have to fight the Shadow-Man and yeah and so on and so on. I would really love to see this world.

4. Frozen: I don't know why I just really, really want to see a Frozen world in Kingdom hearts 3. The story in it could be the same but also maybe add some more things to it. Maybe the boss could be Hans turned into a Heartless.

3. The Incredibles: I love this movie. It’s one of my favourites. The story was entertaining and the villains were complex. Sora could be in a super-hero costume and the key could be called the “Hero’s triumph”. The final boss could be the Omnidroid or Syndrome.

2. Toy Story: Toy story is my favourite Pixar movie set ever. Teaming up with Buzz or Woody would be cool and Sora could look like a toy himself. The world could be called the “Toy box”. And the key you would get from this world could be called “Playtime”.

1. The number 1 world I would like to see in Kingdom hearts 3 is Sugar Rush from Wreck-It-Ralph. Wreck-It-Ralph is my favourite animated film ever. Everything was right in this production. All the characters were loveable, there was the biggest twist I had ever seen anywhere and the end credits song is amazing, I listen to it all the time. Actually if you take one look at one specific moment you can actually see that they added Sora in as one of the characters in the movie, during the tapper scene. Plus it can be shown that Ralph has a good heart inside him. The key could be called “Candy crush” because the world it would be based in Sugar rush, one of the places in the movie and the whole place has candy and sweets everywhere you look. The final boss could be Turbo combined with a giant heartless Cybug.

Top 5 worst Kingdom hearts worlds.

5. Deep Jungle (Tarzan): I love this movie. It’s one of my favourite Disney movie of all, but the deep jungle, oh my god it is so bad. The one thing that kingdom hearts is infamous for is having horrible, horrible, horrible platforming. The platforming is used time and time again. Going to the treehouse, camp, hippos, vines, bamboos, forest, waterfalls is so annoying because of the terrible platforming. Especially if you fall from most of the things you’re climbing, then you have to go all the way back down and start over.

4. End of the world: Wow. I don’t where to begin. You kept going into traps unleashing Heartless to defeat you, and it had one of the hardest bosses ever. A giant vampire with humongous wings who can control fire called “Chernabog” from Fantasia.

3. Wonderland (Alice in wonderland): This world was so annoying. It was a maze. Not 1, re chain of memories, 358/2days or re coded made this world fun at all. Anytime you were just searching for clues and it was so easy to get lost.

2. Alantica (The little mermaid): This world suffers from awkward controls of being a Merman. I was either rising when I wanted to dive or diving when I wanted to rise. Also since you were a stupid fish, all your aerial attack combos were useless and so were your limits too. You pretty much nerved all your training as Sora back down to the basics. Don’t even get me started with Atlantica in Kingdom Hearts 2; it’s a freaking timing music game. No Heartless no Nobodies just Sora sing and dancing. What the heck? Sora came to save the world not sing a musical.

1. Monstro (Pinocchio): Everywhere you went in this place it looked the same and I got lost millions of times.

Top 5 hopes for Kingdom Hearts.

5. Relationships: I’m not in to love or romance but I do have to say that Sora and Kairi defiantly do have feelings for each other and there have been signs of it in the games, so in Kingdom hearts 3 their friendship should be increased.

4. Long story: I want Kingdom Hearts 3 to be the longest out of all the games so far. Like I said, Kingdom hearts 2 was the longest game so far. And I liked that. But if kingdom hearts had the lasting time out of all the kingdom hearts games so far, that would be so awesome.

3. Playing as Kairi: In all the kingdom hearts games, Kairi is just on the side-lines not doing much, except in kingdom hearts 2 for like 5 minutes, but in kingdom hearts 3 you should be able to play her. She has a keyblade so she can fight. She plays a huge role in the kingdom hearts series one of the defenders of light, I should be able to play as her.

2. Flowmotion: Flowmotion is my favourite mechanic from the whole series. Dream drop distance is the only time it was shown, but flowmotion is my favourite move from that game. Flowmotion fed-up the game play so much and it was so much fun jumping on the walls, combos, being fast, getting to locations faster and grinding on many, many things was so much fun.

1. The final boss: What I want the final boss to be is all the seekers of darkness combined to transform into a ginormous heartless, nobody, unversed, dream eater monster. And the only way to fight it is every single one of the guardians of light fighting it and at the end Sora uses the X-blade to separate all the worlds from each other and restore peace to all of them so there won’t be any more monsters and everyone will be happy once again. King Mickey, Donald and Goofy go back to Disney castle, Lea, Roxas, Xion and NaminĂ© go to Twilight Town and of course, Sora, Riku and Kairi go back to the destiny islands.
