The Suicide Squad trailer

So, yesterday, we got the first trailer for James Gunn's The Suicide Squad. I was originally kinda iffy about this because the first Suicide Squad movie was a movie I liked fine, but it wasn't really a good movie and the original thoughts of what everyone was saying didn't interest me that much. But after watching this, it's made me a lot more excited for it. I am still kinda sceptical about it, but, this looks like a super fun movie. You can tell it has Gunn's style all over it and since this is gonna be R rated, this isn't pulling back from the looks of it. Idris Elba and John Cena look really fun in this and everyone else looks really good too. So, yeah, definitely a movie I'm looking forward too a lot more because of this trailer. And so, here it is and I hope you all like this.

My top 10 underrated arcs in anime

So, a lot of anime's I've seen have had a lot underrated story arcs. They've either not been talked about enough, not as well appreciated as other well received arcs or have been disliked by some people. So, I decided I wanted to talk about some of these by counting down my top 10 most underrated arcs in anime. I'll be going into some anime's that I haven't done reviews for yet or haven't talked about that much so I'll try not to talk that much about those to save them for anime reviews I might do at some point later on. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
10. Edolas (Fairy Tail):
Starting us off at number 10 is, in my opinion, the best arc from Fairy Tail, Edolas. I know a lot of people would probably say The Grand Magic Games is the best arc in the series, but the one I enjoy the most and think is the most creative is Edolas. This is probably the best example I can think of of a popular anime series with an arc that's not talked about at all. There are others on here, but in terms of a series that is popular, this is it. I really like the initial set up with Natsu, Wendy, Happy and Carla going to Edolas to find everyone and then they find this crazy world with opposite versions of themselves and everyone else. And the whole story as it keeps going just keeps getting more and more interesting and I always really liked watching this a lot when I was a bigger fan of the series.
9. The Fourth Great Ninja War (Naruto Shippuden):
Next up is climatic arc in the Naruto series. There's sorta been some controversy around this arc with a lot of people thinking it was kinda messy with having too many characters and not many of them getting a lot of development as well as it being frustrating when it comes to who the main villain is supposed to be, but I honestly love it. Being the arc that was gonna have to wrap up this entire series, I thought Masashi Kishimoto did a fantastic job with it. We got to see a bunch of characters together, we get to see so many of them teaming up, we get Team 7 reuniting and all the teams from the Leaf Village teaming up and there's just too many amazing moments for me to count. So, while I can't disagree with a lot of the complaints because there are some I do agree with, I also can't deny that I thought this was a fantastic way to finish the entire series before moving onto Boruto.
8. Alabasta (One Piece):
At number 8 is the arc that truly made me become a One Piece fan, the Alabasta arc. Like I said in my review for the series, I liked everything before this, but this is exactly what made me think "okay, now I know why people love this series so much." This is exactly how to tell an amazing story arc in an anime or manga. I know a lot of people like this arc and think it's great, but I don't think it gets enough credit. Eiichiro Oda did such a phenomenal job with this arc and it's one of my all time favourites. Firstly, I love how it begins with the Straw Hats finding Vivi and Igaram and from there, we get amazing moment after amazing moment. I love how this is where we're introduced to Chopper, Ace, Robin, Vivi and everyone else in Alabasta itself. It's also fantastically paced with knowing exactly how to make every scene significant in some way and it's kinda tense with how everyone in Alabasta almost kills each other and then with the bomb in the town along with the Straw Hats and Vivi trying to save everyone. I also love the fights in this, especially Luffy vs. Crocodile. I do have one or two problems with it and that's just some plot holes that're a little weird, but, besides that, this is a fantastic story and I'm so glad that this is what got me into the series.
7. Zamasu and Goku Black Saga (Dragon Ball Super):
So, while I may have really disliked the beginning of Dragon Ball Super with how it retold the stories of the Battle Of Gods and Resurrection F movies, the Zamasu and Goku Black Saga is where things really began to pick back up. I mean, it kinda did already with the whole Universe 6 Tournament, but this is where it really became a great series. I loved a lot about this arc. Not everything, but a lot nonetheless. I loved how we got a great new villain with Zamasu and, like what I said in my review of Dragon Ball Super, the way the story is told is really enjoyable and smart. It is a little confusing with the whole explanation of how this whole time thing works, but it's still really enjoyable. Plus, we also got some awesome fights like Vegito vs. Fused Zamasu or Trunks vs. Zamasu. Like I said before, I do agree with some people that it should have ended with Trunks defeating Zamasu and shouldn't have had Zeno help afterwards. I like Zeno, but it should have ended then and there. Still though, a really fun part of the series that I definetly think should get talked about more.
6. Chapter Black Arc (Yu Yu Hakusho):
Next on the list is the second or third major arc in this classic Shonen, The Chapter Black Arc from Yu Yu Hakusho. I absolutely love this part of the story and I 100% believe it should be talked about more because there is much about it that I think is brilliant. Firstly, this gives us probably the most sympathetic villain in the series with Sensui and everything involving finding out about what's going on is really interesting. I think what really gets this arc going is probably everything that happens around the investigation part. As in the part where Yusuke and the others are first looking for Sensui and then they end up in the hospital and they're all talking to Genkai about what could be happening and everything involving all that is so much fun to watch because of how interesting it is. Plus, this arc gave us one of the best fights in the series with the Yusuke vs. Doctor fight, which is my favourite fight in the arc. Plus the whole thing about Sensui trying to unleash demons into the human world is a cool idea and it's fun to see Yusuke and the others trying to stop him and it combinates in a really awesome fight when Raizen takes over Yusuke's body and he kills Sensui himself. That whole fight alone is really awesome to watch.
5. Greed Island (Hunter x Hunter):
Another Yoshihiro Togashi arc next to Yu Yu Hakusho, we have the Greed Island arc from Hunter x Hunter. I always sorta viewed this as pretty underrated. I'm not 100% sure what people really think about this but I think they see this as just not being as good as the rest, but I like so much about it. I love how this is where Gon and Killua develop their Nen and get their special attacks with Bisky training them. And the whole idea of them going into a video game to try to play it is a really cool idea and this arc does everything cool with this idea it can do. I also think some of the best fights in the series come from this arc like Gon vs. Genthru. I also love how Hisoka has the help them during the dodgeball match. That whole part alone is a really fun
4. Holy Knights Saga (The Seven Deadly Sins):
Coming in at number 4 is the first arc in this fantasy series, the Holy Knights Saga. I remember watching this for the first time and just being blown away by how absolutely genius this plot was thought out. There's so many incredible moments and it's all so brilliantly told. And I was hooked on this from the beginning. Sometimes in arcs, I usually really get into it a little later on because that's when the interesting stuff really begins, but with this, I had that feeling from the start. I love when Meliodas, Elizabeth and Hawk begin to search for the other Sins and then they all go up against all the other demons in the kingdom. But then I love when all the other characters all come together at the end to fight Hendrickson and that entire fight alone is incredible.
3. The Red Ribbon Army Saga (Dragon Ball):
In terms of the actual story in the original Dragon Ball series, I think this might actually be the best. I recently watched the entirety of the original Dragon Ball show and I remember this part being the one that interested me the most. I wouldn't say the best in terms of the entire series, but it's the part that made me the most invested. I love how Goku is trying to go around trying to find the Dragon Balls along with helping other people, mainly people who're being terrorised by the Red Ribbon Army and it's fun to see Goku taking them on. I mainly like the part where Goku goes to Jingle Village and meets Snow and her family and then he goes to Muscle Tower where he fights more of the army and then meets Eighter, who, like I said before, is a character I really like. I just had a really fun time watching this and it was nice seeing a lot of this happen like Goku actually meeting Snow, then meeting Eighter and then Goku helping Eighter live in the village.
2. Dimension World Arc (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX):
Coming in close to number 1 is the entire third season of the second Yu-Gi-Oh! series. I've already discussed about this a bunch already, but this entire arc is so much fun from start to finish. The whole thing with Yubel manipulating Viper is fun and makes Viper an extremely hateable character until you realise his motivation and it's cool when she teleports the school to the different dimension when she takes control of students and then they have to team up to stop her only for her to take Jesse and then they have to go again but then things turn wrong with Jaden eventually becoming the Supreme King. And, again, there's never a part of this that's not entertaining and it's fun to see everything being uncovered with different things happening and, like I've said a hundred times already, Yubel is just a cool villain and everything with her is fun to watch. I do wish we saw more of her in her normal form, but what we did get was still awesome. And, really, I think this entire arc should be discussed about more because I think it's just a blast.
And my number 1 most underrated arc in anime is... The Metarex Saga (Sonic X):

And finally at number 1 is the final arc of Sonic X, The Metarex Saga. This is probably the ultimate example I can think of in terms of an anime arc that's never discussed about at all. Not that I can necessarily blame them because Sonic X itself is already not the best anime ever. I know many years ago, I was talking about how much I love it and talking about how it's one of my favourite animes ever, but I recently watched the whole show again and was thinking about it some more and it wasn't as good as I remember. Definitely still enjoyable for myself personally, but not as much as when I was younger. Still though, I still really like this entire arc seeing as it's the entire third season of the show. It's like what I was saying about Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, the entire third season counts as this and it's a really enjoyable part of the story in my opinion. I really love the whole setup with everyone having to go up against the Metarex and Cosmo coming to them for help. I also just really like Cosmo. I think she's probably my favourite character who originated from this show. I also think characters like Dark Oak were pretty cool too and I like the whole final fight with Sonic and the others going up against them and trying to stop them, especially the part where Sonic and Shadow go Super and attack them themselves. Plus, I like how they team up with Eggman and Team Chaotix and it is pretty sad when Cosmo disappears at the end and I find it fairly sad when Chris leaves at the end too. So, overall, I can't say I disagree with many people's thoughts on this show, but I do still really enjoy this arc and I do think it's incredibly underrated. And all that is why the Metarex Saga is my most underrated arc in anime. And so, everyone, those are my picks for my top 10 underrated arcs in anime. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

My top 5 final episodes of anime

So, given how a lot of animes have some really satisfying endings to their stories, I thought I'd count down my top 5 favourites of all time. There's so many anime that have ended already and a lot of them really know how to leave us off on a great note and were all just what the shows needed to end in a fantastic way. And given how so many of these are conclusions to classic and beloved shows, it was pretty easy to pick out which ones were my all time favourites. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.

5. The Final Duel Part IV (Yu-Gi-Oh!):

Starting us off at number 5 is the ending to Yugi and Atem's final duel before Atem's departure to the next world. Both constantly outclassing themselves, it looks like Atem is about to claim victory and beat Yugi which would result in him staying in the world of the living for another 5000 years, but, Yugi does eventually manage to outthink him which leads to him beating the Pharaoh. As he's leaving, Atem gets one last goodbye with his friends before leaving which causes all the Millenium Items to drop down into the tomb as the whole place begins to collapse. And, really, this ending just knew how to end the duel between the two of them off is a smart and awesome way as well as making it pretty bitter sweet when Atem finally left.

4. Under The Sky So Blue (Trigun):

Next up is the final confrontation between Vash and his brother, Knives. After so much trauma and loss, Vash confronts Knives in a final gun fight to the death. After many flashbacks of both of their pasts, he not only uses his own gun and gun in his arm, but also Wolfwood's Punisher gun to finish Knives off, still believing in what Rem told him. Afterwards, he brings Knives's body with him back to town where he meets up with Meryl and Milly again. While still pretty sad with how Wolfwood is dead and other things like that, this ending was just what the series needed and finally gave us an incredible showdown between both Vash and Knives.

3. The Real Folk Blues Part 2 (Cowboy Bebop):

At number 3 is probably the most well known and most praised anime finale ever, Cowboy Bebop. When Spike fails to keep Julia safe from being killed, he takes on the Red Dragon Syndicate single handily. But not before leaving the ship forever which leaves Jet and Faye by themselves. Spike eventually reaches Vicious which leads to their final battle. While Spike does technically win by killing Vicious first, his wounds leave him possibly being dead himself. It's not confirmed whether or not he is dead, but it does look like it. And this ending just knew how to make every scene really cool and sad at the same time, especially the conversation between Spike and Faye before he leaves.

2. A Miraculous Conclusion: Farewell, Goku, Until We Meet Again (Dragon Ball Super):

Coming in close to number 1 is the far superior ending to a Dragon Ball series, the ending to Dragon Ball Super. While Dragon Ball Z may have failed with its ending, Super completely made up for it with having the ending to the Tournament Of Power. After Goku uses up his Ultra Instinct power, it's up to him, Frieza and Android 17 to take down Jiren and save their universe. It's one big slug fest as Goku and Frieza throw themselves at Jiren over and over trying to knock him out of the arena until the two of them eventually manage to pull it off. This ends with 17 saving all the universes with his wish with the Super Dragon Balls, Frieza being brought back to life and Goku along with the others all celebrating.

And my number 1 favourite final episode in anime is... Journey's End (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood):

And finally at number 1 is the perfect conclusion to the perfect anime. Journey's End is the perfect example of how to end a show in a satisfying manner. After the fight with Father and Al has been restored, every single character gets a proper send off. Mustang is working on becoming the new Fuhrer, Ling accepts the Chang family with becoming the king of Xing, Scar is saved and begins to work on restoring Ishval with Miles and Ed and Winry confess their feelings, in a very strange way. Ed and Al also decide to start researching different types of alchemy like Alkahestory to prevent anything like what happened to Nia from ever happening again. And the end credits show everyone is a happy place, especially Ed and Winry who have gotten married and now have a son and daughter. And all that is why Journey's End is my favourite final episode in anime. And so, those are my picks for my top 5 final episodes of animes. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

My top 5 Hunter x Hunter characters

So, my last favourite characters from an anime list was my favourite characters from Yu Yu Hakusho, and so, this will be me counting down my top 5 favourite characters from Yoshihiro Togashi's other popular series, Hunter x Hunter. I haven't seen everything from this series yet, but I'm almost finished and I do have all the manga volumes anyway and I feel like I've seen enough to make a list like this. This might be the last of these top lists of my favourite characters from different anime's for a while because I don't think there's many more I could do given how many I've covered already and even some of the ones I've spoken about before, I don't feel like I can make lists on their characters yet. Anyway, let's focus on Hunter x Hunter. Hunter x Hunter is definitely a more interesting one when it comes to it's characters because I feel like a lot of them are very different from other anime characters. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
5. Colt:

Starting us off at number 5 is one of the Chimera Ants, Colt. While, yes, Colt is just another Chimera Ant like a whole bunch of the rest, what I like is how he feels different from a lot of the others. He may have been a servant to the queen and helped kill people, but you eventually start liking him, like when he tries to get the queen help after she gives birth to Meruem, is with her as she dies and agrees to look after Kite after he's reborn as a Chimera Ant himself. Plus, I like his relationship with some of the Hunters like Morel and Knuckle. They may not have had many scenes together, but I think they were great in the time they had. And, sure, other Chimera Ants like Meleoron and Ikalgo may have become good too, but I just enjoyed Colt the most out of all of them.
4. Gon:
Next up the main protagonist himself, the young Hunter, Gon Freecss. After being left on Whale Island by his father, Gon made it his life's mission to become a Hunter and find him. And, along his journey, we learn more and more different things about him. The biggest of which is probably his true nature. For a lot of the series, you could almost kinda see Gon as this innocent, fun-loving, happy kid, but as the series keeps going, you realise just how dark and kinda selfish he really is. And I don't mean this in a bad way. You see why he become friends with a lot of people, but there's a lot of moments where you see that he can be super brutal and unrelenting he can be sometimes. I mainly like him because he's definitely a good person a lot of the time, but I also like how he's not like a regular Shonen Jump protagonist who's 100% good all the time. Plus, he's just a fun character in general and it's fun to follow him throughout the story.
3. Meruem:
At number 3 is the king of Chimera Ants, Meruem. I already mentioned Meruem in the post I did recently of me talking about my favourite villains in anime and Meruem is definitely my favourite in the whole series. Like I said in that post, I mainly like him because he's not a typical Shonen villain and there's a lot of layers to him. You could almost say he does when he's introduced, but as the show keeps going, you begin to see him grow and change and get more developed and it combinates in where you really do feel sorry for him as it keeps going. I also love how he's a character who's so overpowered and strong that no one could ever really beat him, even though he was eventually killed by Netero's poisoning. And, like I said before, you can't help but really sympathise with him at the end when he dies. Not to mention his whole story with Komogi is simultaneously heart warming and heart breaking at the same time.
2. Hisoka:

Coming in close to number murdering magician, Hisoka. It's honestly a little tough to explain this one, but Hisoka is just such a fun character in the series. We see him do so many terrible things with him killing so many people just for the fun of it and yet he's never once hateable. There's just this charisma about him that just makes him constantly entertaining. Not to mention the fact that Keith Silverstein's performance in the dub is perfect and helps make Hisoka even more entertaining. He's also really funny in a lot of scenes and it's weird how he kinda gets aroused from the notion of fighting strong opponents. And a lot of that all attributes to Hisoka being such a fun character despite the fact that we really don't know anything about him in regards to past or anything else like that.
And my number 1 favourite Hunter x Hunter character is... Killua:
And finally at number 1 is the young Zoldyck assassin, Killua. This is like what I was saying in my top 5 Yu Yu Hakusho characters where one of the main character's closest friends and allies is my number 1 choice. But, yeah, everything about Killua is fantastic. He has an awesome design, he's written brilliantly and his journey is fascinating. I love how he's introduced as a kid who ran away from home and did the Hunter Exam merely for the fun of it nothing more. But I think what I love about him is his arc he goes through in the series with his friendship with Gon. These two have one of, if not the best friendship relationship in all of anime and it's amazing watching it evolve throughout the entire show's runtime. Killua is also just a fun character by himself with being incredibly deadly but still kind when he needs to be and is exactly what a character like him should be. There's also the fact that his fight scenes are some of the best in the series with him having cool skills like his assassin skills and then later with his Nen abilities like all his lightning powers. And, really, just everything to do with Killua is perfect and is everything I want in an anime character. And all that is why Killua is my favourite character in Hunter x Hunter. And so, everyone, those are my picks for my top 5 Hunter x Hunter characters. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

WandaVision: Season 1

And so, everyone, the first season of WandaVision just finished on Friday on Disney+ and I was thankfully able to watch the entire series. I didn't start it immediately it began because I was gonna wait until all the episodes were out to watch it, but eventually, I think it was around episode 5 was released that I began watching it because some things were being spoiled for me, so I just decided to start it at that point and I'm really happy I did because this series was really awesome. It's not perfect and I do have problems with it, but, overall, I really enjoyed a lot of it. Also, this is going to have all the spoilers because I really want to talk about this whole show properly. The basic plot is that we're shown that Wanda and Vision are now living in this sitcom-like world with so many weird things happening. And each episode takes place in different decades. The first starts off in the 1940's and the next in the 1950's with the two of them living their lives as a couple. And everything feels like it's going on normally, but every once in a while, some weird thing will happen. And that was the part of the first half of the show I really enjoyed. I really enjoyed the mystery aspect to the show and it just made me more and more curious as to what's going on because there's all these things happening, plus there's the fact that Wanda and Vision are in this world and there's no explanation straight away so I was curious to know what was going on. Although, that first part of the series was probably my least favourite part of the show because I didn't like the whole sitcom thing they were going for. I get what they were doing and it wasn't terrible, but I personally didn't really enjoy it. Maybe because I don't like shows like that in general or something like that, but, overall, the whole actual show aspect about it that the two of them were inhabiting was my least favourite part. But everything else was really, really good. What I loved the most was everything happening on the outside because S.W.O.R.D is investigating what was happening because the town that Wanda and Vision were in, Westview, was surrounded by a hexagon of Wanda's powers so they were investigating it. Not only that, but we get to see Jimmy Woo, Darcy and Monica Rambeau again. Their scenes together were really cool and really interesting and I liked seeing these characters from the movies making their appearance here. I also thought it was cool and sad when we see Monica return from the snap and it was sad when she realised her mom was dead. And, really, just about everything to do with them was what made me the most interested, as well as just the mystery of what all the weird things happening were. It's kinda the opposite of what everyone else who watched the show liked. Everyone I've watched about the show said they liked all the sitcom stuff and thought the stuff with S.W.O.R.D was kinda boring. I thought the opposite honestly. But the mystery of what was happening made it all really interesting to watch from beginning to end and kept making me more and more curious. And, I think what made the show better for me was what happens after episode 5 because we get to see more things happen like Vision starts suspicious about everything going on and is noticing that's something's going on. And, of course, if you've seen the series, then you know what happens here. We get to see Evan Peters back as Quicksilver. Our first M.C.U and X-Men crossover and it was so awesome to see that. I loved Quicksilver in the X-Men movies and it was so cool to see him here.

It just got me super excited for what was coming up next because it was at this point I caught up with the series, and so I very excited to see what was gonna happen next. And what does happen was really cool with Quicksilver having fun with Wanda's kids, who were also born in one episode and then were grown kids in the next. But, I think what I liked the most was at the end when we see Agatha, Wanda's neighbour, who sorta acts odd and Vision is still trying to figure out what's happening and at the end, he goes outside the hexagon and is beginning to come apart with the members of S.W.O.R.D just watching him but then one of Wanda's kid sorta senses it and Wanda then expands the hexagon to save him. Again, just all these different things were just making me more and more curious. We also find out that Monica has gone into the hexagon and trying to speak to Wanda about all this. Darcy also gets trapped in it and then begins to tell Vision about what's happening and how she's been seeing everything that's been going on because the sitcom can actually be seen by S.W.O.R.D on the outside. All this mystery and stuff like this just kept making me curious to know how it was gonna end and, in my opinion, it all ended in a really good, but also slightly disappointing ending. Most people apparently said they thought the ending to the series was a disappointment, I personally enjoyed it, especially the last two episodes. We basically see that Agatha is actually this witch who's been trying to manipulate Wanda and steal her powers and a part of that is by showing her her past. We get to see Agatha's past and Wanda's as well. I especially liked seeing Wanda's past and seeing the different things shown that we were told about before like we get to see her as a kid with her family before they were killed and then we Hydra gave her her powers and things like that. It was cool to see that, and it was nice seeing why Wanda made this world. It was due to grief. After Endgame, she went to Westview and accidently made the hexagon out of her grief because of all the terrible things in her life, especially since this happens after Vision is killed. But she kinda went along with it because it was making her happy. Though, in doing so, she also kinda because taking the people in the town prisoner because they act the way they would in her head but the people they really are are trapped inside they're bodies and occasionally, they'll come through and kinda freak out because they've seen everything that's been going on and so they're scared. But I liked others things too like we find out why everything Wanda created was like a sitcom. It's because when she was a kid, she liked to watch sitcoms with her family. And all other moments like that in that episode that help explain more about her and we learn that Agatha uses this book of magic with her spells and she apparently came from a family of witches herself. And we get some really cool scenes like that in episode 8 where we see both of their pasts. And, really, I think this all helped the last episode being really cool. Like I said, some people thought it was disappointing and I did too a little bit, but I still liked it. It was cool to see Wanda and Agatha fighting and especially seeing Vision fighting that white Vision that S.W.O.R.D created out of the body of the original Vision. And I like how he was able to convince him who he really was and then he flies off. I assume this means he's back to normal and he'll return as the real Vision for Season 2. But the ending with Wanda and Agatha was really cool, especially when Agatha actually calls her Scarlet Witch and she gets her Scarlet Witch comic costume.

And I assume at the end Wanda just kinda made Agatha a prisoner of her sitcom counterpart. Like she's just gonna stay the way she was acting in the show forever now or something. Also, speaking of Agatha, I thought she was an okay villain. The only problem I had with her is that she felt kinda cartoonish at times and her dialogue was really cheesy sometimes too. So, yeah, not one of the best M.C.U villains, but still an entertaining one. And then, the very end when Wanda puts down the hexagon and has to say goodbye to Vision and her kids and everything was pretty sad, although, it didn't really hit me that much, mainly because I personally haven't been the biggest fan of these two in the M.C.U, but it still worked as a good ending and I liked seeing Wanda talking to Monica before she left. It was also funny when Quicksilver was revealed to just be some random guy that Agatha just brainwashed to be like Pietro. It was kinda annoying that it wasn't really him because I woulda liked to have seen him again later on, but still. And now, let's talk about the ending. I thought the part where Monica was talking to that Skrull was really cool and when she mentioned how a friend of Maria's wanted to speak to her. I assumed she meant Nick, so it would be cool if that actually was the case. It was also just cool to see a Skrull in this scene and cool to see her talking to Monica.

And then, finally, the last end credit scene, we get to see what looks like Wanda's astral form reading the book that Agatha had and is trying to practice her magic more and get a better control of it but then she hears the voices of her kids in her head. I'm not gonna lie, when Wanda flew off, I thought she was going to see Stephen Strange to learn how to control her magic better, especially since Agatha does mentioned the Sorcerer Supreme.

And all that got me curious to know what this all meant and what was gonna happen next. And overall, yeah, I really enjoyed the series. I didn't love everything and not everything out at the end, but it's still really well made. I especially have to give credit to the fact that they made every episode feel like it really took place in those decades. I don't know what they did to do them like this, but it was really impressive. And the cast is also still fantastic, especially Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, who are both really charismatic in these roles. And the appearances from the other cast members from other Marvel movies is cool too. But, again, what I liked the most about this was the whole mystery aspect to the show and every episode just made me more and more curious to find out what was gonna happen next. And, really, this show is just pure entertainment all the way through. I personally didn't love everything and some things weren't very entertaining for me personally, but the rest totally made up for it and I highly recommend checking this show out if you can. And I'm still really excited for the other Disney+ Marvel shows coming soon. And so, everyone, that's my review of WandaVision: Season 1. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.

Raya And The Last Dragon

And so, everyone, we've arrived at the newest Disney Classic and one in particular that I was really, really excited for. Yeah, I'm always excited whenever a new one of these comes out, but this one in particular was one I was so pumped for, Raya And The Last Dragon. We haven't had an original Disney movie since Moana back in 2016 and I'm so glad to say that this is back to what I love about Disney movies. Yeah, Ralph Breaks The Internet and Frozen 2 were fine movies, but this is exactly what a Disney movie should be and I loved everything about it. This was also a Disney movie that's being shown in some cinemas and Disney+ everywhere else and that's exactly what I used to watch it and I was really excited to watch it in any way. Well, okay, I did have some problems with it, but, overall, this was another Disney film I loved. Also, I'm gonna do a non-spoiler part first and I'll get into spoilers later.  Anyway, what's the story? In a kingdom called Kumandra, a princess named Raya is training to be the next guardian of the Dragon Crystal, which is apparently something that a dragon named Sisu once used to save the world but dragons are now extinct. And the world is at war with each other over the crystal because they all want to power is has to make their kingdoms stronger. But after Raya's dad fails to try to have everyone come together peacefully, a mist like thing called the Drunn is released which can turn anyone to stone just by touching them. And so, now Raya is on a mission to stop it from turning everyone in the world to stone. And I'm gonna stop there. So, what I think I like the most in this is probably the feeling I love getting whenever I watch any great new Disney movie. And I haven't really felt that way since Moana five years ago. That should really go to show just how good this film is. But the quality of everything is just that high. And, of course, this is absolutely nothing new for me to say, but the animation is obviously top notch. The textures of everything and various locations that we see are breath-taking, especially one place they go to which is this city surrounded by water and it's absolutely gorgeous. Something else that's impressive about the animation is the action. There's so many action scenes in this movie like a lot of hand-to-hand fights and all of them, not just those, but every action scene was really awesome to watch. There's some that's kinda mind-blowing, I'm not gonna lie. I really love action scenes in animation where you can feel the impact of the hits and that's what this film does. And the characters, as you'd imagine, are all very likeable, very funny and really memorable. Raya herself is extremely likeable and it was fun following her throughout the movie. She also encounters a bunch of people who have lost people important to them because of the Drunn and they were all fun to watch. One of them was the dragon Sisu herself. I was surprised by the fact that we see her pretty early on. I thought it was gonna be a while before we saw her, but she's in it a lot faster than I thought. And the rest are all great too. One of them was a surprise to me too. A boy named Boun. When I saw him in the trailers, I thought he was gonna be annoying, but, in the movie, he never was. And the rest of the crew are all fun too like a smart baby named Noi and a huge man named Tong. They're all funny in their own way. And the whole adventure they all go on is fun to watch happen too, especially when we encounter a girl named Namaari. She and Raya have a hating relationship for most of the film and she could almost be seen as the villain of the movie until the film keeps going. You actually kinda hate her until the end when she becomes really likeable. The cast is also all amazing, especially Kelly Marie Tran, who does a fantastic job as Raya herself. The film also has a lot of surprises. Some of which I didn't see coming at all and it really shocked me when some of these things happened. Also, something else that kinda surprised me was the fact that this wasn't a musical. I know a movie like this wouldn't work if it was a musical, but, I was under the impression that it was gonna be before starting it and it wasn't. That's obviously not a negative, just something I thought of originally. The film also has a lot of really hateable characters too. I was surprised by just how many hateable characters there were. And I mean that in a good way. Raya says early on that this is a world that's kinda broken and so everyone is kinda selfish and power-hungry and we see that happen a lot throughout the movie, but that just helps make the main characters' journey more enjoyable because we clearly want them to succeed and stop all the bad people. The film is also really well directed. This was directed by Don Hall, who was one of the directors of Big Hero 6, and Carlos López Estrada and they both did a fantastic. There's a lot of awesome shots in this is really cool. And, overall, they just did a fantastic job with the whole film from start to finish. But, okay, if I did have to complain about anything it would be that sometimes the exposition for the film can sometimes be a little too long. I know they have to explain how a world like this works, but, occasionally they can take a little too long. Also, some parts of this reminded me a lot of Moana. I don't really consider this a complaint, but I felt I should mention it. There are some scenes that feel a lot like it and some other aspects about it. And sometimes some scenes seem a little too unnecessary. There's really only just one scene that I can think of, but that's all I can really think of complaints for the film. Overall, I haven't been this happy about a Disney Classic in a long time and I had an absolutely amazing time with this film and I can't wait to watch it again. So, yeah, I definitely recommend this film. If you have a Disney+ profile, give this a shot, it's so good in my opinion. And so, everyone, that's my review of Raya And The Last Dragon. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think. Okay, now we're gonna get into the spoilers. If you don't want anything spoiled, go watch it and then read the rest.
Spoilers:
Okay, so, like I said, there are a lot of surprises in the film and we're gonna get into those now. First off, the whole thing with Namaari. I didn't expect her to betray Raya at the start. It was nice when they became friends, but then she betrays her to get her hands on the Dragon Crystal. It was also a surprise to me when Raya's dad got turned to stone. I guess I should have seen that coming, but it was still sad when it happened. And the whole thing with the other members and we learn more about their pasts and how they try to cope with losing their families like Boun with his shrimp business was funny. But some were pretty tragic like Tong who reveals he's the only one left in his village and he especially misses his baby. I'd say one of the biggest surprises was when we found out the leader of Talon tribe who tricks Sisu. That's one of the many examples of the hateable characters that were in this. Another big surprise to me was when Sisu revealed herself to Namaari and she's just really surprised by her, and this sorta begins to make her change a little bit. I also like Sisu's past with her revealing she was entrusted with the orb by her siblings and then they try to make a deal with Namaari and she's after changing a bit after seeing Sisu. But, probably the biggest surprise for me was what happens at this point because Namaari accidently kills Sisu by shooting her with a crossbow. I didn't expect that to happen at all. I figured she was gonna come back later, but at that moment, I really did think she was dead. But then, when that happens, the Drunn appears and everyone is trying to get everyone to safety. And this is all happening while Raya and Namaari are having a sword fight and this whole scene was awesome. But then, it made it all the more satisfying when all of them came together with the pieces. It was really cool to see that they sorta had to let themselves get turned to stone to let the crystal get reassembled and work and then the Drunn goes away with everyone in stone being set free. That part was so cool and it was cool seeing all the dragons come back too, especially when they resurrect Sisu. And it was really nice seeing all the crew reuniting with their families. And the actual ending with it showing all the kingdoms of Kumandra coming together. Yeah, you can say that was predictable, but it was still satisfying to watch, especially having everyone come together for real at the end. And, yeah, that's really about it. And, yeah, everyone, that's my spoiler review for Raya And The Last Dragon. And so, everyone, thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.
