It's been a month since Ivan, Finn and Sonia betrayed the Dangers. It's also now been a year and a half since Daniel got his Danger powers. Now in space, the ship that the mysterious creature was in was flying forwards. It just came from a planet. Inside it, one of the children of the creature looked up and went towards him. It was a girl. She looked at him. He didn't notice her. He was looking out the window. She was almost kind of afraid but then she spoke.
Girl: "F-father..."
The creature turned around and looked at her.
???: "... Yes? What is it my child?"
Girl: "Father... I've been wondering about something recently. Why are we doing this? I don't entirely understand. Deep down inside me, I have a feeling that this isn't right."
???: "... My young Merit, you were always my most curious child. But I need you to be at absolute concentration. We're very close to the Dangers. And let's not forget, the Dangers are the ones who killed your mother. So when we arrive, we are going to kill them and take revenge. Understand?"
Girl: "Y-yes father."
???: "Merit, are you ready to take revenge for what they did to her?"
Merit: "Yes. I am."
???: "Excellent. Now, go with your brothers and sisters. And make sure our prisoners don't try to do anything funny."
Merit: "Yes father."
The girl named Merit walked away and the creature turned around and looked out the window again. Merit looked a little but then kept going back down. She reached into her front of her collar and pulled out a necklace she was wearing. She looked at it.
Merit: "Don't worry mother. Soon you'll be avenged. The Dangers will be gone."
She put it back inside her clothes and continued walking. The creature turned his head a little and smiled. He was in darkness On his right armrest, he had a helmet that he had his hand on. On Earth, there was a chase going on in Derry between three cars with robbers in them and five police driving after them. They came from a bank and a few shops. They were driving towards a bridge. The robbers were shooting at the police and the police were shooting at them. They kept going through the bridge. However, something was standing on a tower of the bridge looking at them. It was Daniel smirking.
Daniel: "Heh. These guys never miss their cues, do they? Well, better get to work."
He put his right foot forwards of the bridge and he began to fall down towards them. The robber's cars were still driving forwards and the robbers in the cars, besides the drivers, were still shooting at the police. Just then one of the robbers in the car at the back reached into a bag and grabbed something. It was a round metal explosive. He pressed a button and the clock on it started going down for twenty seconds.
Robber 1: "These guys are going to be blown sky high."
He looked out the window. He held his hand out still holding the explosive. He was about to drop it but then something grabbed it out of his hand.
Daniel: "Thank you."
He looked. Daniel was standing at the top of the car holding it. There was ten seconds left.
Daniel: "Time for things to go boom."
He jumped into the air and let it go. He then kicked it upwards and flew towards the ground. While it was still in the air, it blew up. The robber's cars shook a little. Daniel flew towards them. One of their cars stopped. The driver started it up and was about to drive off again but it wouldn't move. The robbers inside looked at the back. Daniel had his hand underneath it and was stopping it from going.
Daniel: "Just thought you could use a hand with this."
The police stopped, got out of their cars and went towards the car. Daniel got his sword out and jabbed it into one of the wheels to make sure they couldn't drive off. He then knocked out the robbers inside the car and flew off to get the other two cars. Some of the police got the knocked out robbers and got the money they had with them and the rest followed Daniel as he was chasing the other robbers. The robbers in the second car shot at him but he avoided them. He flew into the air and landed in front of them.
Robber 2: "Heh. I'm gonna run him over."
He drove faster and Daniel smiled. He raised his leg. The robbers looked surprised. As they got closer, Daniel slammed his foot down onto the front of the car which made it go up. He raised his arms and caught it in the air. The police got closer. Daniel put the car upside down and knocked the robbers out. He then chased after the last car. The police got the knocked out robbers and the rest went after Daniel again. When they caught up, Daniel was there with the car stopped and the robbers knocked out. He ran off an the police got the rest of the robbers. Daniel flew to the top of a building and looked down. He took a deep breath and smiled. He then raised his wrist to look at his teleporter and he teleported away. He appeared on the top of his house in Youghal. It was 12:30PM. He sat down on the roof with his legs crossed and hands behind his head.
Daniel: "Now this is how I like to relax. And especially with nothing to bother me. But I sure hope I get some fun action soon. Although, (sigh) still kinda worried about what that thing that Ivan, Finn and Sonia were talking about. Who's the one that's coming?"
He laid there thinking. In space, the creature was looking at a screen. On it, was a planet. It looked like it was locking onto it. In the darkness, he smiled.
???: "We're almost there."
The planet was Driforia. On Driforia, the Dangers were relaxing in the big room in the building. They were all talking. The only one who wasn't there was Zane. He was on the ship looking at the screen. Just then he looked at another screen as it was beeping. He pushed some buttons on it.
Zane: "Huh? What's that?"
The screen showed something coming towards the planet. Zane kept pushing some more buttons. He could see what it was. It was the creature's ship. It was getting closer.
Luke: "Oh my..."
He raised his wrist and spoke into his communicator.
Luke: "Everyone? Everyone?"
All the Dangers, including Daniel on Earth, raised their communicators and listened.
Daniel: "Zane? What's wrong?"
Zane: "There's a ship coming here."
Jason: "A what?"
Zane: "A ship. A really big ship. And the more I read it on the computer, the more it's stats go up. I've never seen a ship have this much power before. Whatever's inside that thing is really strong."
Daniel: "Hey, you all don't think that maybe whatever it is could be the thing that Finn, Ivan and Sonia were talking about, do you?"
Luke: "What do you mean?"
Daniel: "Remember when we thought them, they said that they had a new master and that he was coming here? Just a thought that came to my head, but do you think this is it?"
Owen: "Huh, maybe. We won't know until we find out. Zane, how long do we have until it gets here?"
Daniel: "Hold on, I'll be right there."
He stood up and teleported away. When he arrived on Driforia, he was outside the building. He went in and joined the others.
Daniel: "Hey guys. Is Zane still in the ship?"
Bella: "Yeah. We were about to go there as soon as you arrived."
Daniel: "Alright. Come on then. Let's go."
They all left and went into the ship where Zane was.
Chloe: "So Zane, what is this ship you were talking about?"
Zane: "I don't know. And I've got even more bad news. It just locked onto another planet. Earth."
Daniel: "What?"
Zane: "Whoever is in there is planning to go there too."
Daniel: "Oh, no. Zane, didn't you say whatever is inside it is the most powerful thing you've ever seen?"
Zane: "In terms of the stats on the computer, yes."
Daniel's eye rose. He began to get a bad thought.
Stephanie: "Daniel, what's wrong?"
Daniel: "Zane, how long do we have until it arrives?"
Zane: "I would say maybe a half hour. Roughly forty five minutes."
Daniel: "... I'll be back soon."
Chloe: "Where are you going?"
Daniel: "There's something I need to do. I'll explain when I get back."
He raised his wrist and teleported away. The other Dangers looked at each other and then looked at the screen and seeing the ship coming closer. Thirty five later, Daniel came back. He re-joined the others in the ship.
Troy: "Where'd you go?"
Daniel: "Well, when Zane said earlier that whatever was in that ship was locking onto this planet and Earth, that just got me worried."
Owen: "That they'll attack your planet?"
Daniel: "Yeah, but also because of when he said that whatever's in there is a really strong, and so if he goes there, he might kill people. And I just thought maybe if this is the person that Finn, Ivan and Sonia were talking about, maybe this thing knows who I am and where I live. And that got me worried that maybe he'll attack Youghal. So I went there and I talked to the police there and I convinced them of what Zane said and I didn't want to take any chances so I asked them to evacuate Youghal."
Luke: "Youghal's been evacuated?"
Daniel: "Yeah. And they said that they were going to put up borders so no one can get into Youghal from Killeagh on and a little over Youghal bridge on. Not one person is there."
Stephanie: "What about your family? Where are they?"
Daniel: "My dad and sister are still in London, my mam is in Cork working and my brother is in Cork too with his friends. The police told my mam that I was on my way and that we'll see each other in Youghal when this is over."
Jason: "O.K. So, Zane, how much longer now?"
Zane: "I'd say less than ten minutes. We all better get ready. We're going to need to be absolutely prepared for what's coming."
They went out of the ship and waited. They all looked at each other. Just then, there was a noise. They looked up. The ship was coming down. They got their swords and shields ready. The ship was gigantic. The Dangers took deep breaths. It landed on the ground. There was a moment of silence. There was another noise coming from it. A little bit of the bottom part moved. A platform lowered and hit the ground. On the platform were the hundreds of children of the creature. All the Danger's mouths dropped. The creature's looked at the Dangers. Then all of them ran towards them. The Dangers then flew towards them and they all fought. The Dangers were punching, kicking and doing everything they could to fight them off. Stephanie, Chloe and Bella were fighting together, Jason, Zane and Troy were fighting together and Daniel, Owen and Luke were fighting together. They were knocking out as many as they could but there was too many. The creatures were attacking them hard and when Daniel tried to use the Light Danger, one of the creatures grabbed his arm and stopped him and another punched him. He flipped over the one who was holding his arm. The Dangers tried to fly but the creatures were pulling them down and hitting them hard. The Dangers did their best. Every time Daniel tried to use the Light Danger, a creature would stop him. They managed to knock out a few of them but there were still too many of them and the creatures started to get them to the ground on their knees. The Dangers tried to resist and fight but eventually all of them were on their knees on the ground. They had the Dangers lined up. Just then a door from the creature's ship lowered. Two of the creatures came out. One of them was Merit and the other was the mysterious figure who was wearing his helmet. The Danger's mouths dropped again. The figure walked towards them. He looked at them and stopped in front of Daniel who looked at him while taking deep breaths. The figure bent down to him.
???: "Well, well, well. Daniel Danger. We meet after a long time."
Daniel: "Who-who are you?"
???: "You don't know?"
Daniel: "..."
???: "I wouldn't blame you. This suit and this helmet does make it impossible to see me, especially how this helmet is changing my voice."
He stood up while still looking at Daniel.
Daniel: "Are you the one Finn, Ivan and Sonia talked about?"
???: "Yes. But they were useless. I never should have trusted them to kill you. They were too weak. But I'm going to kill you. I'm going to kill all of you."
The Dangers all took deep breaths.
???: "But first, you're all going to suffer. Especially you Daniel Danger. You've been a real pain for me for a long time but now it's all going to stop with you dead. Not only are your Danger friends going to watch you die, but also your other friends."
Daniel: "Other friends? What're you talking about?"
???: "Heh, heh. This."
The figure raised his wrist and press a button on his arm. When he pressed it, another noise came form the ship. Another part of the ship from the bottom lowered. When it did, Daniel gasped and his mouth opened wide. On the platform that lowered were Daniel's other friends from the planets he's been to. Jade, Ciara and Derek from Hagrore, Peter from Zud and Sarah and Raphael from Zuter. They all looked at him.
All: "DANIEL."
Daniel: "EVERYONE."
Daniel glared at the figure.
Daniel: "LET THEM GO. LET US ALL GO."
???: "And what makes you think and I'm going to do that?"
Daniel: "Because if you don't I'm going to crush you."
???: "Heh. Don't try to threaten me like that. I know you won't kill me. You don't kill at all."
Daniel gritted his teeth.
Daniel: "Who are you anyway?"
???: "You still haven't figured it out? Then maybe this will help."
The figure raised his hands to his helmet. The Dangers looked at him in surprise. He then lowered his head and lifted the helmet off him. He then raised his head. All the Danger's eyes rose and their mouths dropped wide.
Jason: "WHAT?"
Zane: "IT CAN'T BE."
Daniel: "NO WAY."
???: "Heh, heh, heh, heh. Now you get it."
The figure kept looking them and they looked at him with shocked faces. The figure was Chernagan. He had scars on his face. He smirked at them.
Stephanie: "Chernagan? But how?"
Chernagan: "Did you all really think I was gone for good after our last fight? No. I was just teleported somewhere else when Daniel Danger destroyed the Guardian Treasure. And after that, I went back to my home planet where my children here were waiting. But ever since then, I've gotten a whole lot stronger than I've ever been before in my life. I've been watching what you've all been doing when fighting ever since then too and I can see you've all gotten stronger as well. Especially you Daniel Danger. But honestly, right now, all I want is to se you dead and have all your friends watch. But I'm not going to do it. She is."
He pointed behind him. He was pointing at Merit who's eyes were raised.
Chernagan: "Come here Merit. I want you to do the honours."
Stephanie: "Don't you dare touch him."
Chernagan: "Oh don't worry. You'll all be joining him once he's dead."
Merit slowly walked towards them. She stood next to Chernagan and in front of Daniel. She looked at him and then to Chernagan. From the look of Daniel and Merit, they looked like they were roughly the same age.
Chernagan: "You'll finally get the revenge you've always wanted."
Jason: "Revenge? What are you talking about?"
Merit: "What he's talking about is the fact that the other Dangers before you killed our mother many years ago and I'm going to avenge her."
Zane: "What?"
Chernagan: "This is it Merit."
He put his helmet back on and then got out a sword and held it out. She looked at it and looked at Daniel who's eyes were raised and was looking scared. She looked at the sword again. She took it and faced Daniel.
Stephanie: "No. I said don't you dare touch him."
Jade: "Leave Daniel alone."
Zane: "If you hurt him, you'll be sorry."
Ciara: "If you kill him I'll kill you both."
Merit looked at Daniel again. She raised the sword above her.
Stephanie: "Daniel, NO."
Sarah: "DON'T."
Merit swung it down but then she stopped. Everyone looked at her in surprise. She dropped the sword to the ground.
Chernagan: "Merit? What's wrong? What are you doing?" Why didn't you kill him?"
Merit: "I'm sorry father, but it's like I said. Deep down I feel like this isn't the right thing to do."
Chernagan: "What do you mean? Don't you want vengeance for your mother?"
Merit: "Of course I do. I just think this isn't the right way to do it."
Chernagan glared at her and then raised his hand. She looked at him in surprise. He then smacked her in the face. Everyone looked in surprise.
Chernagan: "You were also my most useless child."
Merit: "What? But father? What are you doing?"
Chernagan: "I had faith in you Merit, but I can see that I was wrong. You're useless... just like your mother was."
Merit: "(Gasp) W-what?"
Chernagan: "... There's no point in hiding it now. It wasn't the Dangers who kill your mother. It was me."
Merit: "WHAT? No. You're lying, aren't you?"
Chernagan: "No. One day when I was killing on another planet, she got in the way trying to stop me. So, because of her foolish move, I killed her myself."
Merit was trembling and tears were coming out of her eyes.
Merit: "No, no, no, NO."
Chernagan: "And now you're going to follow in her footsteps."
The Dangers watched in horrification. Chernagan slapped her again. He then picked up the sword and walked towards her. She looked terrified at him.
Merit: "Please father, no."
He looked at her.
Chernagan: "Look on the bright side, at lest now you'll be able to see her again."
He raised the sword above him. Daniel was struggling to get free. He then did get free and kicked some of Chernagan's children away. He then flew towards him. As Chernagan swung the sword down, Daniel got in between them and raised his left arm with his shield and blocked the sword.
Daniel: "What do you think you're doing?"
Chernagan jumped backwards away.
Daniel: "What were you doing there?"
Chernagan: "Why do you care? If I kill her, that's one less for you to worry. Now back away. I'll kill you in a second."
Daniel: "And why would I want to do that?"
Chernagan: "If you insist."
He ran towards Daniel and they began to have a sword fight. Just then, some of the Dangers got free and began to fight again. Merit backed away. Daniel flew above Chernagan and went behind him and kicked him back. Chernagan got up and was about to swing at him but then Stephanie stopped him by kicking him in the face. Owen then went towards Chernagan and punched him in the chest. Chernagan looked forward at them. Stephanie and Owen kept fighting Chernagan's children. Daniel looked at him. Some of the Dangers got Daniel's friends off the platform they were on.
Daniel: "What was that you were saying about you being a whole lot stronger than last time?"
Inside the helmet, Chernagan glared at him. He then stood up.
Chernagan: "Fine. This isn't the best place to fight. If want to follow me, do. We'll be waiting for all of you at this so-called "lighthouse" in Youghal. If you wish to die, follow us there."
Daniel: "What?"
He glared and flew towards him. Chernagan jumped over him and stomped him into the ground and then jumped again away. The Dangers and Daniel's other friends looked at him. They went towards him. Daniel got himself up. He looked at Chernagan who was with his children. Merit was standing next to Daniel. Chernagan glared at her. His other children were about to attack but he held up his hand.
Chernagan: "Don't. This isn't the right place to do that. We'll retreat for now. But be warned Daniel Danger, your death is coming."
They watch as Chernagan and his children went into the ship. Owen was about to fly towards them.
Daniel: "Owen, wait. Don't. You can't take them on by yourself. We have to rest for now and face them when the time is right."
Owen: "But Daniel..."
Jason: "He's right Owen. We have to rest for now."
Chernagan's ship began to take off. While it was in the air, he pushed a button. When he did, a canon came from the side of the ship. Everyone looked in shock. A red light began to come from it. It got brighter and brighter. It then fired. Everyone covered their eyes. Just then the blast destroyed the Danger's building. Everyone avoided the debris and rubble. There was dust everywhere. Chernagan's ship flew off. Everyone was coughing.
Troy: "Is everyone O.K?"
Chloe: "I think so."
Stephanie: "Daniel? Are you alright?"
Daniel: "Y-yeah. I'm fine."
As the dust was clearing, everyone looked at where the building was. The Dangers were looking devastated.
Jason: "How dare he. Chernagan is going to pay for this and everything he's done."
Troy: "No doubt about that."
Daniel glared and clenched his fist but the he looked at Merit and went over to her.
Daniel: "So you, what was that all about? What happened there?"
Merit: "..."
Bella: "Daniel, I don't think she wants to talk about it for now."
Merit: "... N-no... wait. I'll tell you."
She was crying. Everyone looked at her.
Merit: "... A few years ago my mother and father went out on a mission together. My father told me it was to fight the Dangers. But when they came back, he said my mother was killed by the Dangers and on that day, I swore I'd get revenge for her. But now... I know it was nothing but a lie."
Owen: "You shouldn't blame yourself for that."
Daniel: "Yeah. He's right, if someone told me that someone killed one of my friends, I'd want revenge too. I wouldn't kill them, but still."
Merit: "... Now I don't know what to do."
Jason: "Is there anything about your dad that we can use to fight. Same with your brothers and sisters?"
Merit: "W-well. The only thing I can think of that he's been watching all of you ever since the last time you all met him like he said and so he knows all your new powers and skills and things like that."
Daniel: "That doesn't give me much hope."
Luke: "... (Gasp.)"
Chloe: "Luke? What's wrong?"
Luke: "G-guys... weren't all the prisoners in there?"
He pointed to where the building was.
Owen: "Prisoners? What..."
All the Dangers then realised what he was talking about. All their mouths dropped and they were trembling.
Luke: "He killed them all."
Daniel looked at his other friends. He went over to them.
Daniel: "Are all of you O.K too?"
Jade: "Yeah. You?"
Daniel: "Uh-huh."
Ciara: "I'm glad to see you again Daniel."
Daniel: "Thanks. It's great to see all of you too. But as much as I hate to break up the reunion, we've gotta get to Earth now. There's no telling what Chernagan will do."
Jason: "I don't even want to imagine what he's planning."
Owen: "And didn't he say he was a whole lot stronger now than he's ever been before? We may not be able to beat him."
Daniel: "Don't say that. Of course we'll beat... but I think I'll have to be the one to fight him."
Stephanie: "What? But Daniel..."
Daniel: "If he's even stronger now, I'll have to be the one to fight him because I'm the strongest Danger. There's no choice. All of you will have to fight his other children."
Bella: "But what if he... what if he..."
Daniel: "... I couldn't tell ya. But I'm willing to do whatever it takes to stop him from hurting anyone else. Especially all of you and my friends on Earth and my family. I'm not gonna let him hurt anyone anymore."
Stephanie teared up a little. She then rushed forward and started hugging him.
Daniel: "Uh, Stephanie, I, uh..."
He then thought for a second and stopped. He then raised his arms and started hugging her too. Everyone looked at them. She stopped and backed away. Daniel looked at Zane.
Daniel: "Zane, how long do we have until Chernagan reached Earth?"
Zane: "... Let me check."
They all went to the ship. Zane looked at the screen and typed in some keys. He activated the big screen in front of everyone.
Zane: "According to this, he just entered your universe and will land on Earth in seven minutes."
Daniel: "Then we better get ready. We already know where he's going to be, we just have to meet him there."
Derek: "You sure you're up for this Daniel?"
Daniel nodded.
Bella: "We better rest for a second to get as much strength back as we can get."
Troy: "Yeah, good idea."
Daniel: "... O.K. But... you guys stay here. I'll be right back."
Jade: "Where are you going?"
Daniel: "I need to talk to someone."
Derek: "Who?"
Daniel: "Let's just say... an old friend."
Daniel flew off. Everyone watched as he left.
Peter looked the other Dangers.
Peter: "Will he be O.K?"
Troy: "Yeah. Totally. We all will be. We're gonna stop Chernagan no matter what."
Raphael and Sarah along with Daniel's friends from the other planets began to talk to the other Dangers too. Daniel landed on the top of a cliff. He took a deep breath. He looked to the sky.
???: "Daniel."
Daniel: "Doc. I need some help."
The vision of Dr. Buckley appeared in the sky.
Dr. Buckley: "Daniel, I don't have to words to describe how much I wish I could be there helping you. All of you. You are about to face your hardest challenge ever. I had no idea Chernagan was still alive after what happened last time. I don't think I've ever seen anyone be this strong before. Just remember, everyone, including me, all have faith in you. You can beat him Daniel. I know you can. No matter how hard things in this fight will be, don't forget that everyone knows you can do this and they're right. You will win."
Daniel: "Thanks a lot Doc. I'm just scared."
Dr. Buckley: "I don't blame you. But you will do it. Trust me."
Daniel: "Thanks. I'll do my best and I will stop him."
Just then Daniel raised his wrist as Zane spoke into the communicator.
Zane: "Daniel... he's there. Chernagan's in Youghal."
Daniel: "Alright. Where's he landed."
Zane: "... Youghal beach."
Daniel: "O.K. I'm coming."
Daniel looked at the sky as Dr. Buckley vanished.
Dr. Buckley: "Believe in yourself."
Daniel flew off towards the others again. In Youghal, Chernagan was standing on the lighthouse and all his children were standing on the road facing the way to the town. He had his helmet off and was holding it. His ship was at the strand beach. It was almost night. Chernagan was looking out the same direction as the others. But then...
???: "CHERNAGAN."
He looked up and saw Daniel flying over him. He flew down the road and landed in front of the Walter Raleigh. He stood up and looked at Chernagan and his children. They all looked at him.
Chernagan: "So he didn't run and cower. But it looks like he's come alone. I GUESS YOUR FRIENDS HAVE ABANDONED YOU, HAVE THEY?"
Daniel: "Heh, in your dreams."
Behind him, the other Dangers flew towards him and landed beside him. Jason was holding Merit and put her down. She looked up and saw Chernagan and her many siblings. Chernagan looked at them and then put his helmet back on.
Chernagan: "YOU ALL DON'T STAND A CHANCE AGAINST MY ARMY."
Luke: "I WOULDN'T BE SURE ABOUT THAT. YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE EVER DONE."
Chernagan: "I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY."
Merit was looking scared. Daniel looked at her.
Daniel: "You should step to the side while we're doing this, Merit."
Merit: "Are you sure?"
Daniel: "Yeah. We don't want you to get hurt. I know you said you wanted to come to help and I'm sure you can, but for now, you just need to stay out of harms way. We'll stop him. I promise."
Merit: "Thank you."
She ran over towards the wall where the car park was. The Dangers looked towards Chernagan again. Daniel took a step forward and turned his head to look at the Dangers.
Daniel: "You guys ready?"
They nodded. All of them began to walk towards them.
Chernagan: "So you're really that determined to get yourselves killed? So be it. ATTACK."
His children began to run at them and the Dangers began running too. They then began to fly in the air towards them. Chernagan's army stopped for a second and looked. The Dangers flew down fast at them and they started fighting in different spots. Each one was fighting in their own spot in the middle of all of them. One of them grabbed Bella but she flipped over it and flew into the air holding it and tossed it towards more of them. Stephanie flew in the air and started punching and kicking as many as she could. Chloe and Luke were teaming up and were fighting together. Owen head-butted one and got him to his knees. When he did, he kicked it forwards and knocked down some others. Jason blocked a punch that one threw at him and swung it around hitting some more. Zane jumped over one, grabbed it's arm and swung it over his head and hit some others. Troy got down and swept his leg across and knocked one down. He jumped onto it's stomach and punched two more. He then dodged one of their arms and it hit another. He got that one to the ground and punched it hard. Some more were about to jump at him but he flew in the knocked out some more. Daniel was knocking out more too. He then jumped up on a wall across from the lighthouse and looked at Chernagan who was looking at him. He glared at him.
Daniel: "It's just you and me."
Chernagan: "Yeah. I want to tear you apart myself."
Daniel: "Heh, yeah. Good luck with that."
Daniel flew towards him clenching his fist. He was about to punch him but then Chernagan grabbed his fist.
Daniel: "Huh?"
Chernagan: "You must be insane if you think you can beat me by yourself. But, you and me are going to go somewhere private for me to kill you."
He grabbed Daniel's throat and tossed him away towards the town. Chernagan followed him. The Dangers looked.
Stephanie: "DANIEL."
Some of Chernagan's children grabbed her. Bella helped her.
Bella: "Stephanie, stay focused. We need to deal with these guys before we can help Daniel."
Troy: "We can't. Daniel said he has to fight Chernagan himself. We can't beat him ourselves. We'll just have to believe that he can do it."
Stephanie: "... Please don't die, Daniel."
But then some more of the children grabbed them. Merit was watching fearfully. Daniel and Chernagan were fighting on the rooftops of some of the buildings. Chernagan was punching him over and over. They got further and further away. It got to the point where they were standing of the roof of the Tesco shop. Chernagan was holding him up. Daniel was trying to struggle free. Chernagan looked over Daniel shoulder and could see the Youghal bridge.
Chernagan: "Perfect."
He tossed Daniel up and grabbed his leg. He then jumped in the air and threw him super hard. Daniel screamed as he was flying towards the bridge from Chernagan throwing him. He landed on the road just entering the bridge on the left side where the entrance to Knockanore was. He was trying to pick himself up. Chernagan landed in front of him.
Daniel: "Youghal bridge, huh? Not exactly the place I was planning to kick your butt, but I guess we'll just have to make do."
Chernagan: "Heh, still making jokes just as you're about to die, huh? You won't be making many when I'm finished with you."
Daniel: "You're gonna win this."
Chernagan: "Speak for yourself."
He was about to stomp on him but Daniel got out his sword. He ran towards Chernagan and swung it but he grabbed the blade. He then yanked it out of Daniel's hands and swung it himself. It's starched Daniel's face. It left a mark. Daniel felt it as it began to bleed.
Daniel: "I'm still not healing. Why amn't I healing again? What's going on?"
Chernagan: "You really don't know?"
Daniel: "What's you mean? Do you know?"
Chernagan: "Yeah. When did you first realise you weren't healing?"
Daniel: "Uh... I would say around... around..."
Chernagan: "Around the time you got the Light Danger powers?"
Daniel: "Yeah. Wait... do you mean..."
Chernagan: "Yes. The only reason you were able to heal before was because you had the Dark Danger powers. But now that you don't have that power anymore, you can't heal anymore."
Daniel: "What? That sounds stupid."
Chernagan: "I guess that's life for you. And speaking of your life, that's exactly what I'm about to take away."
He swung again but Daniel got out of the way. He threw Daniel's sword forward and he picked it up and put it back in it spot in the part in his suit at the back for it. Chernagan then rushed forward and punched him in the stomach. Daniel fell to the ground. He picked Daniel up by the head. He punched him in the face hard and tossed him onto the bridge. Chernagan walked towards him. Daniel was trying to stand up but was in too much pain. Chernagan turned him onto his back. Daniel tried to move his right arm to touch the D mark on his left arm but Chernagan stood on his arm. Daniel was taking deep breaths. Chernagan grabbed him by both his hands and held him up. He punched him in the face a bunch of times and blood was coming from his mouth. He then dropped his to the ground. Daniel painfully stood up but then Chernagan kneed him in the face and then punched him in the face really hard. He then punched him under his and he was about to go into the air but then Chernagan grabbed him but the chest and head-butted him. Daniel fell to the ground coughing. Chernagan raised his leg and stomped his head into the ground. He picked Daniel up by the back and looked at him. His face was bleeding. Chernagan looked over the edge and saw the water.
Chernagan: "You say you hate water. Let's see what happens when you go in it."
He spun Daniel around and tossed him to the air over the edge. Daniel began to fall towards the water but then he opened his eyes. He saw the water as he passed the bridge while falling, he flew under it. He began to flew to the other side. Chernagan looked over the edge to try to see him but then Daniel over the bridge. He began to fly towards him. Inside the helmet, Chernagan's eyes turned to the side. Daniel flew towards him fast clenching his fist in front of him. But then Chernagan turned around and did a spinning jump kick. He kicked Daniel in the chin which made Daniel's helmet come off. As Daniel was coming down, Chernagan did a jump kick on his chest and kicked him backwards and Daniel hit the railing. He fell to ground. His helmet fell to the ground on it's side. Chernagan looked at it and walked over to it.
Chernagan: "Don't you see you fool, this is why you should never try to fight a god."
He stomped on Daniel's helmet and it was crushed. He then kicked it towards him. Daniel looked at it with horror. He then glared at Chernagan who was smirking at him again. Daniel picked it up and put it onto the magnet on his waist. He got up shaking. He fell down but got up again.
Chernagan: "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha."
Daniel's head was down taking deep breaths and he had his hands on his knees. He then looked at Chernagan who was still smiling. Daniel then clenched both his fists and gritted it teeth. He ran towards him with his fist out. Without any effort, Chernagan simply grabbed his fist and began to tighten his grip. Daniel screamed in pain. Chernagan then grabbed him by the throat again and threw in high in the air. Daniel tried to fly but then Chernagan jumped onto the railing and jumped up high in front of him. He punched him and turned him upside down. He then wrapped his legs around Daniel's neck and wrapped him arms around Daniel's legs. They began to fall towards the ground. Daniel was trying to get free but then his head the ground really hard. His fingers were twitching. Chernagan got off him and Daniel's body hit the ground on the front. Chernagan looked at him. The top of his head was now bleeding too. He put his leg under Daniel and turned him to his back again. Daniel was trying to open his eyes but it was hard and everything was looking blurry. Chernagan put his leg across Daniel. He bent down and looked at him. He then raised his right fist and punched Daniel in the face.
Chernagan: "Ha."
He then raised his left fist and punched him one time with his left and again with his right fist.
Chernagan: "Ha, ha."
He then punched him in the face four times.
Chernagan: "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha."
He began punching Daniel a bunch of times in the face with both his fists. With each punch, Daniel was coughing out more and more blood. For his last punch, Chernagan held Daniel up a little while he was still on the ground by his chest and punched him hard. Daniel had numerous marks on his face and his left eye was black and swollen. His suit was also now being torn. Chernagan lifted him up again by his leg and swung him over his head and Daniel face hit the railing. He fell to the ground again.
Chernagan: "Don't be so surprised Daniel Danger. This was to be expected the moment we first met. The fact that I was going to be the one to kill you. The first time we met, the only reason you won was because you had help. The second time, the only reason you won there was because I lowered my guard and you destroyed my power source. But now there's nothing standing in the way of me finally ending you."
He picked Daniel up and slammed his face against the railing again. He then made a mighty jump in the air and headed towards town again. He made a jump to where the playground is and then he jumped in the air and saw the town hall. He threw Daniel towards it and Daniel crashed through the glass of the atrium. He crashed through the elevator and then hit the wall and fell to the ground with some small bits of rubble coming off the wall and falling on him. He was close to being knocked out. He could get himself up at all. Chernagan landed in front of him. He slowly raised his head. Chernagan threw him to the stairs and he began to fall down until hit the railing of a landing. Chernagan walked down to him. Daniel was still doing everything he could to get up but then Chernagan stomped his foot onto Daniel's back a bunch of times.
Chernagan: "All this time I've been relying on others to kill you brats, but I've realised my mistakes and should have come and killed you myself sooner. You've been helping a lot of people but in the end it all amounted to nothing. And now it's finally over. There's nothing left you and your friends and all other living beings in the universes can do but lay in a grave."
He stomped on him one last time and it caused it to break and Daniel fell to the floor below with the stairs falling on him. Chernagan landed in front of him. He picked him up one last time by the arm. He then turned around and tossed Daniel out the window again in the same direction. Daniel screamed and then hit a car and he flew back and hit a rail on hit feet, which were wobbling. He began to fall onto the ground. Chernagan walked over to the window and looked at him.
Chernagan: "It's over."
Daniel was about to hit the ground but then he bent his right knee and stood on the ground with it.
Chernagan: "Huh?"
Daniel put his left fist on the ground trying to stay up. He then put his other foot on the ground crouching trying to stand. He took deep breathes. Chernagan looked at his with his eyes wide open. Daniel was still taking deep breathes and then he gritted his teeth and looked at Chernagan with blood coming from him.
Daniel: "YOU'RE GONNA... NEED TO DO A LOT MORE THAN THAT... IF YOU WANT TO WIN. THERE'S NO WAY... I'M GOING TO LOSE... SO EASILY. THERE'S SO MANY PEOPLE COUNTING ON ME. MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY... THEY'RE THE REASON... I'M STILL STANDING... NO MATTER WHAT... IF IT MEANS PROTECTING THEM... FROM YOU... I'M NOT GONNA LOSE."
Inside the helmet, Chernagan glared at him.
Daniel: "... I'M READY FOR ROUND TWO IF YOU ARE..."
Chernagan: "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST STAY DOWN?"
Chernagan jumped out of the window and put his feet forward. He kicked Daniel in the chest down. When he did, he grabbed his chest while Daniel was still on the ground and clenched his fist.
Chernagan: "I won't kill you yet. Your friends need to know sorrow and loss one last time."
He punched Daniel in the face which knocked him out. He let go of him and Daniel dropped down.
Chernagan: "Don't worry. Your pain will be over soon. Very soon."
It was now night time. Back with the other Dangers, all of them were being held by Chernagan's children. Merit was also being held with them too. Some of them were trying to get free.
Child 1: "What do you think we should do with them?"
Child 2: "I'd say wait until father comes back to tell us."
Stephanie: "I doubt he'll be back. Daniel's most likely kicked his butt already."
???: "I wouldn't be so sure about that."
Everyone looked up. Chernagan was standing on the Walter Raleigh roof. He was holding his helmet in one hand and he put it down.
Jason:" Chernagan? WHERE'S DANIEL? WHAT'D YOU DO TO HIM?"
Chernagan: "Heh. Are you sure?"
Stephanie: "WHERE IS HE?"
Chernagan: "If you insist."
Chernagan stepped back, picked up something behind him and held it out. It was Daniel. He was holding him by the throat. His blood was dripping down to the ground. His suit, gloves and cape were torn and scratched. His helmet was still on his waist. The Dangers and Merit gasped and their mouths dropped.
Chloe: "DANIEL."
Luke: "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?"
Chernagan: "We had a fight and he lost. Don't worry, he's still alive. But not for long."
Owen: "LET HIM GO."
Chernagan: "Oh I will."
Daniel's right eye opened. The other one was still black and swollen. He looked at Chernagan. He slowly raised his hand but all he was able to do was put his index and middle onto Chernagan's face. His hand then lowered.
Chernagan: "Don't bother. There's nothing you can do now. You're close to death anyway."
The Dangers looked in horror. And then...
Chernagan: "And now Daniel Danger..."
The Dangers were shaking and Daniel was trying to use the tiniest strength he had left to get free but he couldn't.
Chernagan: "... Die."
He let Daniel go and clenched his other fist. Daniel began to fall a little but then Chernagan punched him hard in the stomach. He drove his fist deep into his stomach. Daniel's eyes opened wide and he coughed out more blood.
Stephanie: "DANIEL."
Chernagan then straightened his arm and Daniel was launched backwards. He was heading towards the water. He was screaming as he was. The Dangers, Merit, Chernagan and his children all watched as Daniel was falling towards the water. Chernagan was smiling. Daniel hit the water and bounced backwards on it three times and then when he hit the water the forth time, he began to sink. The Dangers and Merit saw in absolute horrification.
All Dangers: "NNNNOOOO."
Daniel was sinking to the bottom of the sea. He was coughing from the punch and from being in water he can't survive in water because of his tube. His blood was pouring out of him too. He then hit the bottom of the sea with a hole in his suit. The other Dangers glared at Chernagan.
Stephanie: "YOU MONSTER. HOW DARE YOU HURT DANIEL. I'M GOING TO CRUSH YOU."
Tears were going down her face.
Chernagan: "That's very funny. But now, it's time for all of you to join him."
He got his helmet and then jumped off the roof. He got his sword and walked over to them.
Chernagan: "So which one of you wants to go first?"
They all glared and tried to get free.
Chernagan: "Don't even try. There's nothing left for you Dangers... except death."
Just then Stephanie struggled more and more and she got free. She stood up and everyone looked at her. She got out her sword and ran towards Chernagan. She swung her sword at him wildly but he dodged all of them and grabbed her arm and then kicked her in the stomach. She dropped her sword. He grabbed her by the throat and then grabbed her sword.
Chernagan: "You fool. You honestly thought you could defeat me? No one can."
Owen: "Let her go."
Troy: "Don't touch her Chernagan."
Chernagan: "Like there's anything any of you can do to stop me. Children, get their swords out and kill them."
Some of his children got the Danger's swords out and pointed them at their backs. Chernagan was holding Stephanie's against her stomach. They all looked scared. Chernagan then looked at Merit and thought for a second. He put Stephanie next to one of his children and gave them her sword.
Chernagan: "You do it. I know what I'm going to do."
The child he gave Stephanie to held her tight and put her sword near her back like the others. Chernagan walked over to Merit with his own sword. He took her.
Chernagan: "I've never had anyone betray me before like this except by your foolish mother. But now that you have too, you must die. You threw away my belief in you Merit. I'm so disappointed."
He pointed his sword near her head.
Merit: "Father, please. Don't do this."
Chernagan: "Alright my children. It's time to end this."
Chernagan and his children pulled their arms back with their hands tightened on the swords. But then...
All Dangers: "DANIEL."
Just then all the marks on their arms began to glow. Everyone looked at them wide eyed. Then energy came from the marks. The colour of the energy coming from their arms were the same colour as their costume. The energy began to move upwards and then go down towards the water. It went further down until it reached Daniel. It wrapped around him. His mark began to glow blue but then something else happened. It began to glow half gold and half black. Gold and black coloured energy came from it. It wrapped around him. It then looked like it began to stick to his suit. His fists began to clench, his teeth began to grit and all the marks and scars on him began to heal. His suit also looked like it was being fixed. Just then his suit turned half gold and half black. His eyes opened and he roared. There was a huge blast of energy and wind. Everyone looked as the water was being blown away around him. They could see him.
Stephanie: "DANIEL."
Chernagan looked wide eyed surprisingly.
Chernagan: "Impossible."
He let Merit go, put his helmet on and jumped down off the road to the water where Daniel was. He went towards him.
Chernagan: "HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO KILL YOU?"
He clenched his left fist and threw it to punch Daniel. Daniel's head was lowered. But his left hand rose and he caught Chernagan's fist. Just then, his head rose. Chernagan gasped. Daniel then raised his right fist and punched him in the face. Chernagan's helmet began to crack and then it smashed apart. Daniel let go of his fist and Chernagan was launched back. He hit the wall. Everyone could see it. All their mouths were dropped.
Child 3: "FATHER."
Merit looked at Daniel.
Merit: "Daniel."
Chernagan had his hands on his face and he screamed in pain. Daniel fell down on his knees and had hands on his chest. He was still gritting his teeth. His helmet began to repair itself. He reached for it and put it on. When he did, put his hands to his head almost like he was in pain. He then stood up and stretched out his arms and roar. A gigantic energy light formed around him. It was half gold and half black. Everyone looked at it with their mouths dropped. Something was happening inside it. Chernagan stood up and looked at it in surprise too. Just then, the light began to vanish. When it did, Daniel was there but he was now gigantic and his suit was still half gold and half black.
Everyone looked at him wide eyed and opened mouthed. Some of them took some steps back. Chernagan couldn't believe it. Daniel's eyes opened. He glared and let out a mighty roar.
Chernagan: "I've never seen this before. What kind of monster are you?"
He then glared at him.
Chernagan: "It doesn't matter how big you are. You're still going to die."
He jumped up towards him but Daniel but he then looked at him. Chernagan gasped. Daniel raised his left fist and punched him down and he hit the ground. Chernagan's children saw open mouthed.
Child 4: "FATHER. KILL HIM."
They let the other Dangers go and charged towards Daniel. He looked at them. They all jumped towards him but then spread his arms open wide. As they got closer, he put his hands together and got them all within his hand. He was not in control of his actions again and so he pushed his together and everyone else watched as he crushed them and then opened his hands and dropped every single one of them into the water. The Dangers, Merit and Chernagan's mouths opened. Chernagan glared at him.
Chernagan: "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? I'M GOING TO SEND YOU TO OBLIVION."
Chernagan jumped towards Daniel again but when Daniel looked at him, he bent his right knee and arm and clenched his fist. Chernagan looked curious and got closer. Daniel began to straighten his leg again and forced his arm forwards too. When he did, he gave Chernagan a mighty punch which sent him towards Youghal beach. He hit his ship hard and it exploded. The explosion made he go upwards towards the sky. Everyone looked in shock. Daniel began to follow him. Chernagan was in space. He opened his eyes and looked around. He then looked towards Earth and could see Daniel coming towards him with his fist clenched. Chernagan put his arms in front of himself to block but Daniel punched him sending him back more. He then reached forward with his long arm and grabbed Chernagan and yanked him towards himself. Chernagan screamed and Daniel roared. He punched him hard again and sent him going very far very fast. He hit the moon and bounced on the surface of it a few times. Daniel then flew towards it and landed on it too. Chernagan looked at him.
Chernagan: "THAT'S IT. I didn't want to do it. I was hoping to save this as a last resort, but there's no other choice."
He stood up and clenched his fists tight. It looked like he was getting more and more power. He then raised his head and roared. He began to grow now too. He kept growing until he was about the same size as Daniel. Daniel kept glaring at him. Chernagan opened his eyes.
Chernagan: "Now there's nothing you can do to stop me."
He threw a punch at Daniel but he dodged him and was about to kick him but Chernagan dodged him too. They were fighting on the moon. They were punching and kicking each other over and over but Daniel was healing some marks on him but other marks on him weren't healing. They were doing it for a few minutes but then Daniel grabbed leg and swung him down onto the ground. Chernagan was looking exhausted. Daniel was flying in the air looking at him.
Daniel: "This is over. You're going to be over today."
Daniel's voice was different.
Daniel: "You've hurt so many people. But it all stops now. My family, my friends. They al believe in me, I'm not going to let you hurt any of them or anyone ever again. My friends, they mean the most to me. I'm never lonely so long as I have them. This is one we all did together. I'm not going to let anyone hurt them. I'm going to keep going forward to keep everyone safe from people like you. And that's why, as of right now, I swear to you, I'm never giving up."
Chernagan got up.
Chernagan: "Shut up and die already."
They both clenched their fists. They put their fists in front of them and both of them hit each other's fists. But Chernagan was forced backwards and he hit the moon. He took deep breaths. Daniel then got his sword and turned it upside down. He flew towards Chernagan. He tried to move but he couldn't from the pain. Daniel put his sword in front of him and impaled Chernagan who started coughing.
Chernagan: "What are you doing? I thought you said you would never kill."
Daniel: "I guess today is the day I break my rule."
Chernagan: "Or are you not even you?"
Daniel: "It's over now."
He let go of the sword and jumped into the air.
Chernagan: "Wait, no. Don't. NO."
Daniel: "Goodbye."
Daniel flew towards him. Chernagan couldn't move. Daniel slammed down on the sword and the energy came from it. Chernagan was screaming in pain. Daniel put his hands on the hilt to push it down completely. He was doing his best. Just then, he looked around as everything around him turned white. He looked around and saw something on the sword. It looked like hands. On both sides of him were spirits of the other Dangers and his other friends. Stephanie was closest to him. Just then another hand touched the top of the hilt. Daniel looked. It was Dr. Buckley. They both looked at each other. Dr. Buckley nodded. Daniel then did the same and they looked down. The sword began to go down further until it was completely down. Daniel looked at his left arm as something began to happen to it. There was then a bright white light. Daniel was standing on nothing in his regular costume which looked like it was back to normal. His eyes were closed. He opened them. He looked forward. Something was coming towards him. He walked towards it too. When he could see what it was, he stopped. It got closer until it was in front of him. It was a person. They were both looked at each other.
???: "You did it Daniel. You saved the universes. I knew you could do it. I never lost faith in you."
Daniel: "Thanks... Doc."
It was Dr. Buckley.
Daniel: "Doc, am I..."
Dr. Buckley: "No. You're not dead. But, do you want to stay?"
Daniel: "What?"
Dr. Buckley: "Just a quick question. I already know the answer but still. Do you?"
Daniel: "Heh. Sorry Doc. But I know where to go now."
Dr. Buckley: "That's the best answer you could have given me. You don't belong here. You belong with your friends back in the universes. You have a long future ahead of you."
Daniel: "Yeah. More than you know actually."
Dr. Buckley: "Heh, heh, heh. Exactly. Daniel, I could not have asked for a better friend from Earth. You have done so much for us all. And for that, I thank you."
Daniel: "No problem. I needed to protect my friends and all the other innocent people. I wasn't going to let anyone hurt any of them. I'm always going to help them, no matter what."
Daniel: "Doc? What happened to me?"
Dr. Buckley: "You used a legendary power I've never seen before. It's called the Nega Danger."
Daniel: "Nega Danger?"
Dr. Buckley: "Yes. There's only one Danger who's ever used it before."
Daniel: "Who was that?"
Dr. Buckley: "The very first Danger ever born centuries ago."
Daniel: "Wow."
Dr. Buckley: "Yeah. And Daniel, for now, I'll just say goodbye. I'll see you again."
Daniel: "Alright Doc. I know we'll talk again soon."
Dr. Buckley walked off and looked back. Daniel stuck up his thumb and smiled. Dr. Buckley vanished.
Daniel walked forward a little and turned around. He closed his eyes and leaned back. He began to fall. As he was falling, his suit was beginning to tare and his cape tore into pieces until it was completely gone. He then began to get scratches and scars on his body and he cringed as something was happening to his left arm. His sword and shield were gone. In reality, he was back to his normal size. Back on Earth, the Dangers were standing near the wall across the street from the Walter Raleigh. They were looking up at the sky. It was morning.
Merit: "Do you think he's O.K?"
Jason: "Of course he is. There's no way he's going to die."
Luke: "Yeah. We all know it. We all believe in him."
Stephanie: "Yeah. He can't die. I know it."
Just then they all looked up and saw something through the sky over the sea. They looked harder to see what it was.
Owen: "It's Daniel. He did it."
They all began to cheer.
Zane: "HEY DANIEL. OVER HERE."
He wasn't moving.
Bella: "Wait a minute. Something's not right."
Chloe: "DANIEL. CAN YOU HEAR US. WE'RE OVER HERE."
Daniel's body was spinning. He was still falling.
Stephanie: "DANIEL."
They kept watching and then Daniel fell into the water. Everyone's mouth dropped.
Merit: "Daniel."
They ran onto the sand beneath them and looked. They couldn't see him. Zane flew forwards. He was over the spot where Daniel fell in. He flew into the water to get him. Everyone watched and then Zane flew out holding him. When he looked at him, he gasped and his mouth opened.
Zane: "Oh my... oh no."
He flew towards everyone. He landed turned away from everyone. They all tried to see.
Stephanie: "Zane? What's wrong?"
Zane: "Everyone... he's..."
They all took a few steps forward. Zane stood up and stepped aside. Everyone looked at Daniel. They all gasped. They began to tremble. Stephanie walked to the side of him and put her hand on his chest. Tears were going down her face as she began to cry. Luke was hugging Chloe. Bella had her hands over her mouth. Owen, Jason, Zane and Troy looked down at him in shock. Merit was holding her necklace and her eyes were closed. Stephanie was crying on him. With Daniel, he had numerous cuts and scars on him, blood and water was coming from his mouth, his left eye was black and swollen again, his suit was destroyed in some places, his helmet was gone and his left arm was completely gone. The D mark that was on his left arm was gone from what was left of it. Both his eyes were closed. Just then Merit's eyes opened. She looked at her necklace and it looked like she remembered something.
Merit: "... Mother... I'm going to do it now."
She took the neck lace off and clenched it. She looked at Daniel. She began to walk towards him. Everyone looked at her wide eyed. She put her hand on Stephanie's shoulder. Stephanie looked at her.
Merit: "Excuse me please... there's something I've gotta do."
Stephanie: "What are you talking about? What are you doing?"
Merit looked at her hand where the necklace was.
Merit: "... I'm going to help him."
Stephanie: "Help him?"
Merit: "Yes. Please, trust me."
Stephanie looked at the other Dangers who were all looking down. They all nodded. Stephanie looked at Merit again for a second and then stood up. Merit bent down and looked at Daniel.
Merit: "Daniel Danger, you must not die. Even if I do, you can't."
She clenched the necklace with both her hands and it began to glow. Everyone looked in surprise. When she pulled her hands apart, her hands were glowing and the necklace was gone.
Bella: "What are you doing?"
Merit: "This is something my mother bequeathed to me before she died. She said it had the power to do whatever I wanted. And now I'm using it. I was never able to do it to save my mother because my father said I wasn't able to, but now I know it can. I know this will be better than that. By doing this, I'll be able to join my mother in peace."
Jason: "What?"
She held her hands out and put them over Daniel's head and then moved her hands down over Daniel's body and his injuries started to heal. Including his arm. Everyone watched in amazement.
Owen: "What are you doing?"
Merit: "This is the only way I could think to save him and to be with my mother."
She got to the bottom of his feet and then put her hands over her own head.
Merit: "It won't work completely unless I take the same pain."
Bella: "What do you mean?"
Merit took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She began to move her hands down her body and as she was, the same kind of marks and scars that were on Daniel began to appear on her. Everyone's mouth dropped. Her left arm began to vanish. She looked at Daniel again. She began to fall backwards. Owen caught her and everyone looked at her in shock. She turned her head and looked at Daniel one last time. Her vision began to go blurry.
Merit (In her head): "Mother, you were right that day. When you said that I would find a saviour one day. This is him. This is the one who's saved me after a long time of despair. I couldn't have asked for a better one. And after a long time, he'll help me one last time to see you again. Father may have been corrupted by the evil inside him, but now I think is the time our whole family will be able to be at peace. Thank you mother. And thank you... Daniel Danger."
There was darkness. Someone's eyes were opening. Everyone looked at Daniel. He began to make some noise. He was moving. The D mark on his left arm was back. His suit was still destroyed in piece and his helmet was still gone. He put his hands on the ground and sat up. He rubbed his eyes. Everyone smiled. He looked at them.
Daniel: "Hey guys... what'd I miss?"
They all cheered and jumped on him. Some of them started to hug him.
Daniel: "Ow, ow. Guys, get off. That hurts."
Jason: "Everyone, get off. He's still hurt."
They backed away and he painfully got up.
Daniel: "What happened?"
Troy: "I think you won."
Daniel: "I did? What happened to Chernagan?"
Luke: "You don't remember what happened?"
Daniel: "The last thing I remember is me getting punched really hard by him and I think I fell in the water... Oh yeah, and then I think I was talking to Doc."
Bella: "Really?"
Daniel: "Yeah... Wait, then I think I heard Merit's voice saying something to me. Wait, where is Merit?"
The Dangers looked at each other and stepped aside. Merit's body was leaning against the wall. Daniel's mouth dropped and his eyes widened. He walked over to her.
Daniel: "Is she..."
Owen: "Yeah. She sacrificed herself to bring you back."
Daniel looked at her again. Daniel's began to tremble and tears started down his face. Everyone else looked sad. He opened his eyes and looked at everyone. He then looked at the sky.
Daniel (In his head): "Thank you."
He smiled a little. One week later, the Dangers and some other people were on Driforia. The other people there were construction workers and some police from Youghal. Jason, Troy and Zane were with the construction workers. They were rebuilding the big Danger building. The other Dangers and Daniel's other friends were with the police talking.
Police 1: "The world owes you Dangers a huge debt. Especially you Daniel Danger. We know you're the only one here from Earth. You have fought for us and even died to keep millions of people safe for over a year. And not just us, but also the other people in these other universes like you told us. They're lucky to have all of you."
Daniel: "Thanks. I'm lucky to have all of them. And all my other friends as well. On Earth and all over the universes."
Police 2: "People have begun to put Youghal back together."
Daniel: "Yeah, that's good to hear."
Police 1: "Oh, yeah, what did you do with that Chernagan guy's body? Did you leave it where you said you fought him?"
Daniel: "Well, let's just say, we got rid of him in our own way."
Daniel began to remember something. He was remembering what he and the other Dangers did to Chernagan's dead body. They used all their strength to lift him. Daniel was in Light Danger form and they lifted him up and threw Chernagan's body into the sun. They were floating there for a second kinda looking sad. In real life, the police and the Dangers kept talking.
Police 1: "Well, thank you again for saving us."
Owen: "It was our pleasure. We're glad everyone's O.K."
They all smiled. One of the police reached out his hand. Daniel looked and smiled. He shook it. They let go. Daniel stuck him thumb up at them. They walked off towards the building. Daniel had some bandages on him. He turned to everyone.
Daniel: "Are you guys ready to go home?"
Ciara: "Yeah, we. It was great to see you again Daniel."
Daniel: "Thanks. It was great to see all of you too."
Peter: "Thanks again for saving us."
Daniel: "Don't mention it. And it's not just me, you should be thanking the other Dangers too."
Jade: "You're right. All f you have been great friends to us too."
Sarah: "No doubt about that."
Bella: "Back at you guys."
Daniel: "Alright. Let's go."
Daniel got them all and teleported away. A few minutes later, he returned. The other Dangers returned. They all started talking.
Chloe: "Are they all going to be O.K?"
Daniel: "Yeah. They'll be fine."
Stephanie: "So does this mean that it's all over?"
Bella: "No way. There's still a lot more battles to be fought in the future. But I have a feeling that the big one might be."
Luke: "We may not ever know."
Owen: "Hey Daniel? After all this, are you gonna tell everyone about it and about you?"
Daniel: "Hmm... nah. Heh, heh, heh, heh."
Owen: "Seemed pretty obvious that you weren't."
Bella: "I'm just glad this part of the fight is over."
Chloe: "We all are."
Luke: "I kinda wonder what's going to happen to us now. I mean with everything that's happened, I have a feeling that things may not be the same again."
Stephanie: "I don't know. Hey Daniel, do you think..."
When she turned to look at him, Daniel was gone. They looked around.
Stephanie: "Daniel? Where'd you go?"
Owen: "I think I know where he is."
With Daniel, he was in front of two stones. They looked like gravestones. He smiled at them. He was still on Driforia.
Daniel: "Thanks for everything. I don't know how to repay both of you."
He turned around and began to walk off. He turned his head and looked at them one last time. He smiled and stuck his thumb up. He then walked away. The gravestones said "Here lies Doctor Alex Buckley, a brave Danger" and "Here lies Merit, a brave friend."
5 months later.
In Wexford, someone was sitting on a tree with his hands behind his head and legs cross. It was morning. He was listening to something on an iPod. Just then a car was driving in his direction. He looked at it and smiled. He stood up on it. He put his iPod into his pocket.
???: "Well, that’s my cue. Hopefully these guys will be challenge for me. But I doubt it."
He jumped off the tree and landed on the car roof. It began to slide out of control. The person jumped off the car and landed in front of it. He put his gloved hands in front of him and as the car got closer towards him, it stopped when it touched him. There were two robbers inside it and they got out. They were wearing black masks.
Robber 1: "Oh man. It's him. Kill him."
???: "Haven’t you guys ever thought maybe you could change the way you are? No? Okay. That’s fine by me. Means more fun for me.”
The man jumped over one of them and slammed his head into the ground and went towards the other one. He jumped over the car and dodged the shots the robber was shooting and knocked him onto the ground and punched his which knocked him out.
???: "You robbers never cease to make this fun for me. Heh, heh, heh."
He could hear police cars coming.
???: "Well, at least you guys will be with your friends in prison. That’s… something. Heh, heh. Later."
He put the robbers against the car and got out bags of money they had in the bag. He then noticed there was a pen and smiled as he got an idea. The police arrived and got out of their cars. They saw the robbers knocked out and saw the bags of money. The piece of paper was on it. They looked at it. It had writing on it. It said "Here's your change officers, D.D." They looked at it and smiled.
Police 1: "We're lucky that that guy is helping us."
Police 2: "Beyond any doubt."
They got the robbers up and took the money away. However, above them, the man was standing there smiling. He got out a phone and looked at the time.
???: “Well, I guess I better go see how the others are doing.”
He raised his wrist and looked at a glove he was wearing on his left arm. He pushed a button on it and vanished. On Drimora, the Dangers were in the newly fixed building and were talking. Just then, the door opened. They looked.
Owen: “Hey Daniel. It’s good to see you.”
It was Daniel. He was still seventeen and in a new and fixed Danger suit that looked exactly like his first one.
Daniel: “Hey everyone. It’s good to see all of ya.”
They began talking and then Stephanie walked over to Daniel. She stood there for a second. She then opened her mouth to say something but then Daniel held up his index finger.
Daniel: "No."
Stephanie: "(Groan.)"
Daniel: "Stephanie, will you give it up already? We've been doing this for at least over a year. Will you stop already?"
Stephanie: "Never. You will be my boyfriend one day."
Daniel: "Keep dreaming."
Stephanie: "I will."
A few minutes later, Daniel stood up and walked towards the door.
Luke: “Where are you going?”
Daniel: “I’m just going out for a few minutes. I’ll be right back.”
Daniel left the room. He then went outside and looked to the sky. He began to fly around Drimora. While in the air, he looked down at Dr. Buckley and Merit's graves. However, in his house there was a photo album on his desk. The pictures inside were of Daniel and the other Dangers. One photo was them all on the Green Park wall. Another was them on the Bandstand in Green Park relaxing with Daniel having his hands behind his head and legs crossed. Another was Daniel with Andrew and Roy. Another was Daniel running away from Stephanie. Another photo was all of them, including Daniel’s other friends, on the day Chernagan was defeated with Daniel's suit still scratted and his left glove gone and his helmet was gone. Luke and Chloe were together. Daniel had his left hand on Stephanie's head who was trying to hug him and his other hand up sticking his thumb up. And the last photo was Daniel by himself in the new Danger suit. He had his left knuckle on his hip and right thumb up. On Drimora, he landed on the ground in front of the building. He closed his eyes and both he and Dr. Buckley were standing in the white space. They both smiled at each other.
Dr. Buckley: "Well done Daniel."
Daniel smiled and nodded. He opened his eyes and then walked into the building and put his hands on the door and looked up to the sky again. He smiled and looked at his left arm where the D mark was and then looked to the sky one last time. He raised his hand to the sky and then clenched it. He then shut the door and went back to join his friends.

Why is the ending in comic sans?
ReplyDeleteI changed the ending for some editing on another computer and I tried to put it on this, but it ending up being in Comic Sans instead.
