The death of Daniel Danger

Yet another Daniel Danger story that I've thought of and now I'm going to show all of you. Although, before I do, you need to know this. This story takes place after the part where I get the Dark Danger powers and fight Batoc and before Dr. Buckley dies and before I get the Light Danger powers. So remember that while reading this because Dr. Buckley is still alive here. The reason I'm doing this now is because I wrote this already in a book and I felt I should put it here now because it'll explain some things in other stories I did like the Invasion of Youghal. Also, expect to see my review of the Lion Guard: Beware the Zimwi tomorrow. Another thing, you probably shouldn't read this unless you're 12. I don't know, there's gonna be something in here that would be for kids. There's no bad words but once you get there, you'll know why. And so, let's start. I hope you like this and please comment down below to tell me what you think.
On Driforia one night, Stephanie was sleeping and she was having a dream. It had herself in it and the other Dangers, especially Daniel. They were standing on a light brown coloured footpath that was floating and there were different colours all around them. At one end of the footpath was a hole and through it was space. Daniel was fighting a creature dressed in armour with multi-colours on it and the creature was holding two swords. Daniel was losing with cuts on his body and scars. He also looked different. Almost like if he looked way older. All the Dangers did. The creature then smacked Daniel aside and began to walk towards Stephanie. Everyone tried to fly but they kept losing more blood from cuts of their own the more they tried. The creature raised its sword to Stephanie but Daniel, despite his injuries, flew in front of her with just his sword. He blocked one of the swords but then the creature use his other hand to hit Daniel and turned him around. When he did, he quickly thrust his sword forward and impaled Daniel through the chest. Daniel screamed in pain. Everyone saw and gasped with their mouths wide open in shock. The creature pulled the sword out of Daniel's who then put his hand on his chest where the sword was. He then bent down and fell on the ground dead with his eyes closed right next to Stephanie. In real life, Stephanie woke-up with a gasp. She rubbed her face. Dr. Buckley then came into the room.
Dr. Buckley: "Stephanie? Are you O.K? What's wrong?"
Stephanie: "It's about Daniel."
Dr. Buckley: "What about him?"
Stephanie: "I just had a nightmare of him dying when we go out in space and go into some kind of hole and we're fighting some creature in some armour and he kills Daniel."
Dr. Buckley: "Hmm."
Stephanie: "You don't think it might happen, do you?"
Dr. Buckley: "Hard to say. It could have been a nightmare or a vision of the future."
Stephanie: "The future? No. It can't be."
Dr. Buckley: "I can't say for certain. But, try to go back to sleep, alright? I'll have a think about it."
When Stephanie went to sleep again, Dr. Buckley stood up thinking and then left the room. The next morning, everyone on Driforia was having breakfast. But Stephanie was sitting down next to Bella and Chloe not doing anything. She was still scared about the nightmare she had. Bella looked at her curiously. She could see something was bothering her.
Bella: "Stephanie? Are you alright?"
Stephanie: "... well... actually..."
Before she could finish her sentence, Dr. Buckley called them all on their communicators from the ship. On Earth, Daniel was listening as well.
Dr. Buckley: "Listen everyone. I'm on the ship and while I was looking at the scanners, I found something like a hole in space. I'm not sure what's on the other side but I think we better go check it out."
Stephanie: "A hole in space?"
Daniel: "Alright Doc. I'm on my way"
Dr. Buckley: "Um, actually Daniel? I think you better sit this one out."
Daniel: "What? Why?"
Dr. Buckley: "Uh... because you're still recovering from the Dark Danger power against Batoc. We've got enough strength to just go and look at a hole."
Dr. Buckley was thinking about what Stephanie told him about her nightmare.
Daniel: "Come on, Doc. I can handle it. I'll be fine."
Dr. Buckley: "... (sigh) Alright."
Daniel then teleported to Driforia. When he got there, he went to meet the others. They were all waiting for him.
Owen: "Hi Daniel."
Daniel: "Hey guys."
Stephanie looked at him with fear. Daniel noticed.
Daniel: "You O.K Stephanie."
Stephanie: "Y-yeah. I'm fine Daniel. But..."
Daniel looked curious. Dr. Buckley then called them again.
Dr. Buckley: "O.K everyone. I have the ship ready. Let's go check that hole out."
Everyone then went to the ship. But as they were going, Stephanie grabbed Daniel's arm. He looked curious again. She then let go of him.
Daniel: "Are you sure you're alright Stephanie?"
Stephanie: "Daniel, I need to tell you something."
Daniel: "Can't it wait?"
Stephanie: "No. I have to tell you now."
Daniel: "O.K. But make it fast. Unless it's something that'll make me say "I'm not your boyfriend" again."
Stephanie: "... last night I had a nightmare of you dying."
Daniel: "What? Dying?"
Stephanie: "Yeah. It had us going to a hole in space like the one we're going to now and an armoured creature kills you."
Daniel: "So you think it might happen if we go to this one now?"
Stephanie: "Yeah."
Daniel: "... well we've gotta go check it out anyway."
He ran off to go to the ship and then after a few seconds, Stephanie followed him. They went to the ship and then they took off. While on the ship, Stephanie was looking at Daniel fearfully. She tried to get the thought out of her head. Just then a computer started beeping. Dr. Buckley looked at the screen.
Dr. Buckley: "Alright. We're almost there. Just another three or four minutes."
But when he looked at the screen again, he saw something else as well.
Dr. Buckley: "Huh?"
Jason: "You alright Doctor."
Dr. Buckley: "I think so. But there's something new here. It almost looks like there's something alive in the hole."
Stephanie: "WHAT?"
Everyone looked out the window and saw the hole. Dr. Buckley tapped the screen showing the hole and then a hologram appeared on the window. It looked like the hologram was scanning and reading the hole and then information appeared. Dr. Buckley read it.
Dr. Buckley: "Wow. It looks like this hole is actually a warp hole to somewhere else.
Zane: "Where?"
Dr. Buckley: "I'm not sure. But let's take a look."
Dr. Buckley made the ship go slowly towards the hole. When they got close enough, everyone began to get ready to go inside it. But as Daniel was about to go with them, Dr. Buckley and Stephanie stopped him.
Dr. Buckley: "Daniel? Would you mind waiting staying here? The rest of us will go check it out."
Daniel: "Why? Is this because of the whole nightmare thing Stephanie was telling me about?"
Stephanie: "Yeah. So please don't go."
Daniel: "... (sigh) Fine."
Dr. Buckley: "O.K. Everyone, let's go."
Everyone, except Daniel, left the ship. He watched them getting closer. Dr. Buckley was in the lead. They then stopped when they were right in front of it. Dr. Buckley slowly raised his hand and put it through the hole's energy field. He then pulled it out. Nothing happened. He then flew in the whole way. He then flew out. Still nothing happened.
Dr. Buckley: "Alright, I think it's safe."
All of them went inside the hole. When they inside it, Stephanie gasped. All around them were different colours, just like in her nightmare. They were also flying above the brown coloured platform she saw too.
Dr. Buckley: "Stephanie? Was this in your nightmare too?"
Stephanie: "Yeah."
They walked along the path. Daniel was watching them on the screen. Just then, as they were walking, Dr. Buckley looked at his hand. It began to get wrinkled. The guys behind them felt their faces as hair began to grow on them.
Luke: "Doctor? What's going on?"
Dr. Buckley: "I have no idea."
???: "I see more fools have entered here."
Everyone looked forward and saw something standing a few feet away from them. It looked like a man in armour with a whole bunch of colours on it. He had two swords. Stephanie couldn't believe it. She began to get scared.
Stephanie: "No way... Doctor. That's the person I saw. The one who killed Daniel in my nightmare."
Dr. Buckley: "That's him?"
???: "He won't be the only one I'll be killing today. You're all trespassing. This is my home and you will not destroy it. And you'll definitely not be destroying my people."
Troy: "We don't want to  destroy anything."
Zane: "Yeah. We just came here to find out what this hole was."
???: "Well now you know. And you won't live long enough to get out. I am Night Comet. Guardian of the planet Xestrillion. And none shall ever harm it or it's people while I'm still alive."
He was talking about another planet that was through the hole on the other side.
Luke: "We just said we don't want to destroy anyone or anything."
Night Comet: "Nice try. You'll just go on as soon as I turn around."
Luke: "We promise to not do anything to hurt anyone on your planet."
Night Comet: "Yeah, well guess what? I love to kill anyone who comes in here anyway. And when they come in, they never come out."
Night Comet got out his two swords and then did some flips in the air and then ran towards the Dangers. They got out their own swords. Daniel was watching this happen on the screens on the ship. Night Comet jumped into the air while still spinning and began to hit the other's swords. Eventually he managed to knock them all to the ground and give them some cuts and scars. They were taking deep breaths trying to stand up. Dr. Buckley did stand up and held up his sword. He flew towards Night Comet but Night Comet simply kicked him in the chest to knock him back down and kicked his sword out of his hand. Dr. Buckley's body began to change again. Almost like he was getting older. The same thing was happening to everyone else.
Chloe: "What's happening to us?"
Night Comet: "Ha-ha. It's this hole. If enter it, you'll begin to age one year every minute."
Luke: "What?"
Night Comet: "And you all know what happens when you get too old, right? Like say around eighty or ninety?"
Everyone raised their heads in shock because they knew what he was talking about.
Night Comet: "Good thing for me this armour protects me from that happening to me."
Some more Dangers stood up trying to fight but he kept slashing his swords at them. They began to lose more blood and looking more older. Night Comet then walked over to Bella and raised his swords. Everyone was trying to move but the more they tried, the more it hurt and the more blood they lost. As Night Comet was about to kill her, she closed her eye. But nothing happened. When she opened her eyes again, Daniel was holding her after grabbing her. He put her down.
Stephanie: "Daniel? What are you doing here? We told you not to come in here."
Daniel: "Yeah well, I don't take orders very well. And besides, I wasn't about to let you guys take all the fun of fighting this guy for yourselves."
Daniel went to Night Comet and kicked him upwards but as he was about to hit him again, Night Comet kicked him down and when Daniel hit the ground, Night Comet landed on the ground the ground safely. He walked over to Daniel and picked him up. He tossed him the other way and Daniel was getting more cuts and bruises. Night Comet then got his swords and went to Daniel again. Daniel looked at him and picked up his own sword and shield. As Night Comet began to run towards him, Daniel flew in the air towards him and they began a sword fight. All throughout the fight, Night Comet was doing countless flips and jumps hitting Daniel's sword over and over. Daniel kept trying to punch and kick him, but he missed every attack. On top of that, he was also older again. He kept getting more marks from Night Comet's swords. Daniel fell to his hands taking deep breathes. Night Comet was standing over him. He was about to impale him but then Daniel rolled away. Daniel stood up and ran to him but Night Comet smacked him aside then walked towards Stephanie. The more everyone tried to move, the more they kept losing more blood. They were almost beginning to feel dizzy. Daniel grabbed only his sword and began to run towards Night Comet. He stood between him and Stephanie.
Daniel: "Don't... even... think about it."
Night Comet swung his swords and Daniel blocked one of them and Night Comet used his other hand to punch him in the face and turned him around to make Daniel's back face him. Stephanie gasped because she knew what came next.
Stephanie: "DANIEL. LOOK OUT."
Daniel slightly turned his head and Night Comet used his sword to impale Daniel right through the centre of his chest. Daniel screamed in pain. Everyone gasped and had their mouths dropped wide. Stephanie in particular who was in absolute shock.
Stephanie: "DANIEL. NO."
Night Comet smirked and pulled the sword out of Daniel's chest. When he did, Daniel put his hand on his chest. He looked forward and looked at Stephanie who had her mouth opened wide. Daniel's vision began to blur. He began to fall forward. He landed on his knees and then fell completely on the ground dead with his eyes closed right next to Stephanie. Everyone was shuttering still not believing what they just saw. Stephanie got up and got on her knees. She put her hands on Daniel's back. She began to shake him.
Stephanie: "DANIEL. DANIEL."
He wasn't moving. She began to cry. Everyone else glared at Night Comet who began to laugh. They screamed and got up. They ran towards him despite the pain and dizziness. He looked at them. He swung his arm and hit them all back. Some of them landed on their feet and others landed on their backs. They took deep breathes and they all began to fight him again. As they were, Stephanie was still with Daniel who still wasn't moving. She rolled him onto his back and his right arm touched the ground. Stephanie's mouth began to quiver. She closed her eyes and put her head on his chest. But then she raised her head and gave Night Comet a mighty glare. She gritted her teeth. She stood up and ran towards him. Night Comet knocked Owen and Luke down and then turned to face her. As she got closer, he raised his arm and grabbed her by the throat. The others got up trying to attack but he either used his other arm to attack or used his legs to kick them away. He then looked at Stephanie.
Night Comet: "Foolish girl. If that boy couldn't stop me, what makes you think that you could?"
Stephanie tried to kick and punch him but he then tightened his grip on her throat and began to choke her. Just then, black smoke was coming from the hole in Daniel's chest. The smoke began to heal the hole. It was also covering itself around him. No one was noticing. They were trying to stop Night Comet. The smoke was beginning to vanish and Daniel's suit began to turn black. His fingers began to move and his teeth began to grit. Owen looked and saw him.
Owen: "Daniel?"
Everyone was looking at him as well. Their mouths dropped. Night Comet didn't notice he was looking at Stephanie who he was still choking. Daniel's eyes then opened and he glared. He feet touched the ground with his head lowered. He then raised his head and glared at Night Comet. He made a loud roar. He was now in Dark Danger form. At super-sonic speed, he flew forward and hit Night Comet back which caused him to drop Stephanie. She landed on the ground on her hands and knees. She coughed and looked up. Daniel was standing right next to her. She looked surprised at him.
Stephanie: "Daniel?"
He turned his head a little to look at her. He then looked at Night Comet who was a few feet in front of them and was getting up. He looked at Daniel who still looking angry at him. He stood up and rant to him with his sword but Daniel simply flew towards him really fast and grabbed him. He lifted him up and flew in the air. He tossed Night Comet in the air and kicked him in the head which caused him to spin. He then grabbed his legs and spun around and tossed him down towards the ground. He then put his feet on Night Comet's head as he was falling. He landed on the ground with Daniel having slammed his head on the ground with his feet on him. Daniel got off him. There was dust all around the place. As it cleared, Night Comet tried to get up with his helmet cracking and breaking off. Daniel then grabbed him and threw him forward. As he landed, Daniel was punching and kicking him in the face and chest over and over. He then did one mighty punch that completely shattered his helmet. He took heavy deep breathes. Daniel walked towards. Night Comet got his swords and ran at him. As he raised his hands, Daniel grabbed the blades and tightened his grip and shattered them to pieces. Night Comet gasped and looked at him in horror. Daniel grabbed him and held his fist about to punch him in the face again. But then the Dangers ran to him and grabbed his fist. He looked at them. They knew if he gave Night Comet a powerful punch in Dark Danger form and the state Night Comet was in, he would kill him. Daniel began to calm down. He grip on Night Comet weakened and he dropped him. Night Comet fell to the ground and Daniel's suit returned to normal. He took a few steps back and fell to the ground unconscious. A couple of the Dangers grabbed him and grabbed Night Comet who was unconscious too. They began to fly out of the hole. When they did, their bodies returned to normal. They all took deep breathes. They put Daniel on a bed and Night Comet in a cell. They began to fly back to Driforia. After putting Night Comet in a cell in the big building, they were with Daniel who then woke up. They all looked at him. He sat up.
Dr. Buckley: "Daniel? Are you O.K?"
Daniel: "... yeah."
He rubbed his face. His eyes then widened.
Daniel: "Wait a second."
He felt his chest which was mark free. Like the rest of his body.
Dr. Buckley: "I had no idea that the Dark Danger power had a healing ability in it."
Daniel: "Well, thankfully it did. Otherwise I'd be dead right now."
Chloe: "Yeah. Are you feeling alright?"
Daniel: "Yeah. Well, I'm still alive, so that's good."
Bella: "Uh-huh. You gave all of us a really big fright back there Daniel."
Daniel nodded.
He stood up. He put his helmet, cape and gloves back on. He turned to everyone.
Daniel: "Sorry guys. But I've gotta go."
Dr. Buckley: "Alright. And Daniel, I'm sorry for putting you in deadly position like that. When you get home, make sure you get some rest to recover, O.K?"
Daniel nodded and then went back home to Youghal.
