My top 10 Disney Classic voice actors

So, in this countdown, I'll be counting down my top 10 favourite voice actors who did voice work for Disney Classics. And, before we start, there's some things to specify. These will only be Disney Classics so there won't be any Pixar movies, Disney shows, live action movies, straight to video sequels or video games. Just from the 55 current Disney Classics that I've said a thousand times before. And also, these are not based on the characters themselves, just the performances and the ones I think are the best. And you may or may not be able to tell what my number 1 choice is. And so, let's begin.
10. Eddie Murphy, Mushu:

Starting us off is the comedian who provided the voice to one of the best and funniest side characters in Disney history. Well, at least in the first one. We don't talk about Mushu in the second Mulan movie. But in the first movie, both the character and the actor are great Eddie Murphy gives Mushu a voice that fits so well that everything he says is hilarious. I love it. And there's even some adult jokes he says that are great too. Overall, great performance that I love to watch over and over.
9. Robin Williams, Genie:

Next up is possibly the most popular Disney comic relief ever, Robin Williams as Genie. And this is probably the most obvious on the list. Robin practically was the Genie after and most likely before this as well. He improvised and made up a lot of the things in this by himself and that was genius. He made the Genie into one of the most loveable and memorable Disney characters ever and it was all from his voice and improvisation. It really shows his amazing acting talent. I don't think I have to say much because you all know how amazing he is here.
8. Eleanor Audley, Maleficent:

Being the best Disney villain ever of course means Maleficent gets the best villain voice ever. There is no mistaking it. As soon as you hear this voice coming from Maleficent, you immediately know that she's evil. Not one bit of good. And that's impressive because there are Disney villains where you can sorta get a hint of  quick charm and charisma, and while Maleficent does have that too, she pulls it off so that at least ever with those scenes where she's trying to pull a quick charming line and almost kinda trying to be clever, she's still 100% bad and no one can say differently. The people back in the day made the perfect choice when casting her way back then because she's incredible in it.
7. Anika Noni Rose, Tiana:

At number 7 is the first voice actress from this age of Disney, Anika Noni Rose as Tiana. While at first a workaholic Anika brilliantly transitions this character into a super fun and loveable one. She was the whole time, but seeing her the way she is at the end is great to watch. She's really well developed and Anika absolutely shows it. Her performance is so genuine and believable and you completely buy it. It's great in my opinion.
6. Josh Gad, Olaf:

Next is the last comic relief character on the list, Josh Gad as Olaf. One of the more different comic reliefs from Disney considering most of them have this sorta fast clever humour whereas this one's comedy is from naivety and sorta stupidity. He does a lot of whispering when he does his comedy and work so well. He's so funny and the lines he has are perfect. Some of the best Disney lines ever in my opinion and Josh nails them all.
5. Dwayne Johnson, Maui:

Now we come to maybe the biggest surprise last year with this movie. A lot of people know Dwayne Johnson as a real wrestling called the Rock. But he's also a really great and likeable actor as well and me and lot of other people agree this is his best performance yet. Especially sense he not only did the voice for Maui but he also did the singing voice for him too. And he's phenomenal at both. He also creates a very likeable, funny and mischievous character with it too. Also charming with how fun he becomes later on. Also, you've gotta love that shark head scene.

4. Ginnifer Goodwin, Judy:

Now we come to a super inspirational character. Me and other people agree that Judy herself is truly inspirational and a lot of that has to come from the voice and Ginnifer Goodwin is one of, if not maybe the main reason why that is. She tries to prove everyone wrong by saying that even though she's the first rabbit cop, she can be a great one too and make everything better for people to live in Zootropolis. That's beyond inspiring and admirable. Especially with her wanting to achieve her dreams and she'll do whatever it takes to do so. And hearing Gennifer's voice come from that as this great a character is fantastic. Hearing her say these things makes you love her.
3. Jason Bateman, Nick:

Coming up next is the other main character from Zootropolis, Jason Bateman as Nick Wilde. At first, it almost kinda feels like you're not supposed to like him. Obviously you like him because he does come off as a likeable character, but as it goes along you get to like him more and more. Jason manages to turn him into a sorta fast and smooth talking sly fox. And the voice he has is perfect. He is so funny and so emotional at times and you totally feel so much sympathy for him during those emotional times.
2. James Earl Jones, Mufasa:

At close to number 1 is the amazing James Earl Jones as the great king Mufasa. I said this when I did my top 10 voice actors last year about him as this character. The voice James has is so incredible and strong that everything he says sounds important and you feel like you want to hear more because he sounds so incredibly wise. And the fact that he died in the movie, I mean the character, is super sad. Not just because he was a likeable character and we cared about him, but because we could have also seen and heard a lot more of him. And really, just the fact that they got a great actor like him to do it is amazing.
And my number 1 favourite Disney Classic voice actor is... Auli'i Cravalho, Moana:

Yeah, this is what I meant at the beginning by the may or may not of be able to expect what my number 1 was going to be, but at number 1 is Auli'i Cravalho as Moana. I recently got the DVD of Moana and I've watched it so many times and each time I have, I love it more and more every time. I think it is such a special and underrated movie even if people do like it. And I do feel that it is a very special movie to me. And, like I said, one of the best parts of it is Moana herself and Auli'i as the voice. She is spectacular. A very amazing voice performance and a spectacular singing voice. Every emotion you need from Moana, Auli'i captures it perfectly. And because of this, I actually put Moana higher on my list of my top 10 Disney characters. Her chemistry with Maui is also really good and funny.

Seeing the two of them together and working off of each other is a lot of fun, funny and even heart-warming at times. And at the beginning you can understand where she's coming from because you see that she does want to please her father but she has this passion in her that tells her that she wants to go out onto the water. And, as I said, there's a lot of emotion she gives the perfect amount in all of them. She's also really funny. There are a lot of funny scenes with her and she pulls them off. And, in my opinion, Auli'i is the best Disney Classic voice actress/actor ever. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.
