My top 10 favourite Spider-Man villains

Spider-Man is still my all time favourite superhero and so I decided to count down my top 10 favourite Spider-Man villains. These are the 10 best villains I find to be both memorable, enjoyable and threatening. These are also some of, in my opinion, some of the best comic book villains ever. So, let's begin.
10. Electro:

Starting at number 10 is Max Dillon. This supervillain gained his powers from being struck by lightning while fixing a electric pole one day. The lightning did not kill him but instead gave him lightning based powers and while trying to rob a bank with these powers, Spider-Man interfered and stopped him. Ever since then, he's been trying to kill Spider-Man but he just keeps on losing.
9. Rhino:

When Aleksei Sytsevich accepted an offer to defeat Spider-Man after being foiled by him a hundred time, he was bonded to a chemical that cover his body in a hard shell in the shape of a rhino. While mostly being a strong villain for Spider-Man, Rhino is also mostly one of Spider-Man's stupidest enemies. Just going in hoping he'll win. And he'll stop at nothing to make sure that Spidey is dead on his horn. Though how he uses the toilet, I have no idea.
8. Vulture:

This old buzzard named Adrian Tombs was originally an electronic engineer who wanted to fly. When he managed to succeed, his business partner robbed it from him,  he decided to use it to get revenge and become a criminal. But Spider-Man is still stopping him no matter what and he is still one of the biggest Sinister Six members.
7. Lizard:

This monstrous reptile has a sympathetic backstory. A scientist named Dr. Curt Conners was trying to regrow his arm by using lizard DNA. However it then transformed him into a lizard monster with strength, speed, regenerative powers and agility. With constantly being turned back into the Lizard, Spider-Man is always having to stop him but knows that he can't hurt him too bad because he knows that deep down, he still his friend.
6. Mysterio:

This magical villain is a tricky one. One of Spider-Man's most confusing villains, he always uses smoke to disappear and reappear and to pull off heists and to fight Spider-Man. While Spidey may have a hard time trying to beat him, he never stops trying and does manage to defeat him until he gets back up for another trick to play on the web-swinger.
5. Sandman:

One of Spider-Man's earlier villains, Flint Marko was a thief until he stumbled into an experiment site which gave him the ability of manipulating sand and being part sand himself. Although he not entirely bad, I mean he's actually been an ally to Spider-Man on a few occasions, he still does his best to be a thief and tries to defeat Spidey.
4. Doc Ock:

Also known as Doctor Octopus, this eight limbed man was once a brilliant mind until a mechanical harness invention bonded to his skeleton and warped his brain. After being driven insane, he eventually formed the sinister six and continued his experiments to try to take down Spider-Man. And  with the other members of his sinister group, he has attempted over and over to destroy him but Spidey is just that good.
3. Carnage:

When the serial killer, Cletus Kasady, was chosen to be in a new symbiote spawned from the other one from Venom, it bonded itself to him and turned him into the insane monster known as Carnage. A villain, who even with the symbiote on, is still a psychotic murderer. He is more powerful than Spider-Man or Venom and is able to change his arms into weapons with the symbiote goo. He's so powerful that Spider-Man even had to team up with Venom to beat him on a few occasions.
2. Venom:

Speaking of Venom, he's been one of Spidey's biggest enemies for years and what's worse is that he knows everything about him and the ones he cares about. When Spider-Man got rid of it, it found it's way to Eddie Brock who had a hatred for Peter Parker. And he won't stop until he's been completely squashed. He has all the powers that Spider-Man has and more with being stronger and bigger. He's also able to shoot gooey webs from his wrist, climb walls and every other Spider-Man like power.
Honourable mentions:

And my number 1 favourite Spider-Man villain is... The Green Goblin:

Was there any doubt? At number 1 is the ultimate Spider-Man villain. The alter ego of Peter's best friend's dad, Norman Osborn. A genius millionaire with unlimited resources, Norman tested a serum on himself but it cause him to become insane, strong and agile. And let's not forget the fact that he caused the death of Peter Parker's first girlfriend, Gwen Stacy by throwing her off a bridge and when Spider-Man tried to catch her, it broke her neck and killed her. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below and tell me who your favourite Spider-Man villain is.
