My top 10 Fairy Tail characters

Next on my entries of counting down my favourite characters from different anime shows is Fairy Tail. Just like a lot of animes out there, the characters in Fairy Tail are the best part of it for me. And with some of these characters now beginning to become iconic and it being on of my favourite animes of all time, I thought it would be great to talk about my 10 favourite characters from it. And also, the reason I decided to do this now, in fact, I shoulda said this in the last entry, is because in April I made a top 10 Naruto characters and so these next few entries are continuing it. And so, let's begin and I hope you all like this.
10. Gajeel:

Starting us off is the first Dragon Slayer on the list, Gajeel. Originally starting off as a villain trying to capture Lucy with his first guild, Gajeel turned good after Makarov found him and let him join Fairy Tail. Now he's part of the guild and is a good fighting partner for Natsu and Wendy with them being Dragon Slayers. He's also a funny character too, especially in the arguments between him and Natsu and their different opinions on things.
9. Makarov:

The master of the Fairy Tail guild is at number 9, Makarov. This extremely powerful wizard used to be a regular member of the guild, but after his master left, he was named the new master. Now an old man with the responsibility to take care of everyone in Fairy Tail, he's a kind hearted guy who does care about everyone and treats them like his actual children like he said at one point. He's also another character who reminds me a lot of Jiraiya from Naruto, Armstrong from Fullmetal Alchemist and Master Roshi from Dragon Ball as in he's an old mentor like character to the main character who has a lot of funny moments and can be serious. And he is funny a lot. Watch.

8. Gray:

You probably woulda thought that Gray was gonna be a little higher on the list because he is one of main characters, but I'm just putting him at number 8. Still though, Gray is a really good and likeable character. He's really cool and he has a pretty sad back story like a lot of these characters. After he lost his mentor after she sacrificed her life, he also lost his best friend when he abandoned him. When that happened, he joined Fairy Tail and now has this hilarious habit of taking his clothes off a lot. The opposite of Natsu, Gray is like the Sasuke to the two of them.
7. Wendy:

At number 7 is the other Dragon Slayer at Fairy Tail along with Natsu and Gajeel, Wendy. When her guild was revealed to be a fake, she joined Fairy Tail and became one of the best members with her Sky Dragon magic. With her own flying cat friend, Carla, she attempts to make things right for everyone and wants to be respected as a great wizard.
6. Erza:

Next up is the Natsu's other partner and one of the only S-ranked wizards in Fairy Tail, Erza. This character was once a prisoner with her friends she made there. After she was supposedly betrayed by one of them, she was let go and made it to Fairy Tail where she learned the magic of reequipping armours and rose to the very top of the guild. She's so cool and doesn't mess around in a fight when there are stakes on the line, especially the lives of her friends.
5. Happy:

Natsu's flying blue cat friend is at number 5, Happy. This blue flying cat was found and hatched from an egg by Natsu and Lisanna when they were kids and they spent a few years raising him in Fairy Tail. Now only six years old, he's Natsu's best friend and he has a crush on the other flying cat, Carla. When in the other dimension, the two of them found out where they came from and what they were sent to Earth for. And he's also one of the show's funniest characters. A lot of stuff he says is hilarious.

4. Lucy:

Next on the list is the celestial wizard of Fairy Tail and the second main character of the series, Lucy. After leaving home to find a wizard guild, she met Natsu and Happy and joined Fairy Tail and became part of their team. Now meaning a lot to the guild and it's members, especially Natsu, she solidified herself as a great and strong character. She may not seem like much of a special character, but she is a really entertaining and good one.
3. Lisanna:

Coming up next is Natsu's childhood friend and original Fairy Tail tragedy, Lisanna. When at a young age, she had a crush on Natsu. But a couple of years later, everyone thought she died when she attempted to stop her brother in a transformation going on a rampage. But when Natsu and the others were brought to another dimension, they found her still alive and now she's back with all of them again as a Fairy Tail member. Which, also, her welcoming back to the guild was a really nice scene too. Watch.

And the reason I put her this high on the list is because of how nice she is and how sweet she is. And seeing a lot of things around her when we see her again and seeing her return is nice to see too.
2. Gildarts:

Close to number 1 is the father figure to Natsu and the actual father of Cana. Another one of only S-ranked wizards of Fairy Tail, he spends most of his time away from the guild on long jobs. A super nice and entertaining character, Gildarts cares a lot for everyone and was a huge friend to Natsu, Happy and Lisanna when they were kids and they still are. Makarov has spoken to him a ton of times before about possibly taking over the guild from his as the master when he dies. And also being one of the strongest wizards shown, he always pummels a ton of enemies at once.
And my number 1 favourite Fairy Tail character is... Natsu:

And finally at number 1 is the fire eating Dragon Slayer, Natsu. Again, was there any doubt? The main character in a lot of animes are usually my favourite character and Natsu is no exception. One of my favourite anime characters ever and the best part of this whole show in my opinion is Natsu himself. When he was a really young boy, he was sent from the past and met a dragon named Igneel who taught him everything he knows. After Igneel one day vanished, and it was later revealed that all the dragons are inside the Dragon Slayers, Natsu set out to find him in an attempt to find him. A super fun and funny character, Natsu is a friendly and hungry character who reminds me a lot of Goku and Naruto in the sense that he's a lot like the two of them. There's the friend aspect to them where they value their friends deeply and there's Goku's appetite to him too. His dynamic with the other characters is fun and funny a lot, especially his team and Happy. And I like how it's his brother he has to fight in the end and that conflict between the two of them. And so everyone, those are my top 10 favourite Fairy Tail characters.
