Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True

Another Disney sequel that tries to tie a bunch of stories together like Tarzan & Jane and Belle's Magical World and make them into a feature length movie is Cinderella 2. I don't understand why they do this because in my opinion, if you really wanted to make these short stories, then they should just put them as bonus features in the movies themselves or something. But, here we are with this kinda movie again. So Cinderella is in the palace with Prince Charming and the Fairy Godmother, along with the mice are living there too. They decide they want to make a book for Cinderella that tell her a bunch of stories that's happened there so far. The first is Cinderella learning how to be a proper princess by doing a ton of lame stuff, the next is Jaq being turned into a human because he doesn't like being a mouse anymore and the last is Cinderella feeling bad for one of her stepsisters Anastasia and tries to get her a date for the ball. But when she does, they do that dumb cliché where it looks like the boyfriend is actually in love with someone else and it just wastes time. It's all just as dumb as you can imagine. They're all bland, not creative and barely tie together at all. The animation's pretty good but it's not put to anything good at all and it's another thing that's really wasted. Some of the characters act in some ways that they usually would like Cinderella herself in the first story where she's trying to be like a real princess. And it's so annoying seeing Jaq trying to act like a human and finding it too hard to adapt. He was a really likeable character in the first movie but here he's just annoying and a ton of choices they make for these stories are stupid. I will say not everything is terrible. Again, the animation's pretty good and some of the characters are likeable. But all the rest are bland and some of them make dumb decisions too. That's really the best way to describe this movie and a lot of these sequels. A lot of them are really dumb and some of them don't make sense. The only real upside I can really think about for this is that it caused Cinderella 3 to happen and that is a really good movie. But that'll come next. For this however, yeah, do I even need to say any more? It's just the kinda movie you'd expect. Just a skipable, boring, stupid mess.
