The Fox and the Hound 2

When I want to tell people about what a truly horrific Disney sequel, I usually point to this one, (along with some others as well), but this one as well. When I first watched this movie, I knew it was going to be terrible. And, what do ya know, I was right. This movie makes literally no sense at all. And when I say that, I mean it doesn't feel like a real Disney sequel because it's like Bambi 2 where it takes place during the gap when Todd and Copper are separated. But unlike Bambi 2 where you can imagine there being something interesting during that gap, this doesn't. I mean, if they're separated what can you do with that? What's the story? Well Todd and Copper are still together and still friends getting into trouble. But when a circus comes to town with singing dogs, Copper wants to join. And the group is full of stray dogs so he lies to them saying he is a stray so he's allowed in. And especially with some other female dog just leaving. But she doesn't like that she was replaced so fast so she teams up with Todd to sabotage them because she doesn't want them to perform with him and Todd wants his best friend back. So they manage to by telling them that Copper isn't a stray so he's thrown out but now Copper is mad at Todd. Oh god, how dumb can you make this? What does any of this have to do with the original?  It doesn't. The original was about Todd an Copper's friendship and it had a small message about prejudice. That was handled really well and it had something to it, especially for something that came out in 1981. This doesn't. It's just some weird bouncy animation with the characters dancing and a ton of other dumb situations happening. Yeah, we also seeing some scenes of characters doing weird dance moves. And the weirdest part is that this is really good animation. Why is this great animation being used for this terrible story? The writers act like they don't care about this and neither should you because it sucks so hard. None of the characters even have anything interesting about them or any investment or proper motivations. And think about it, this is Fox and the Hound 2, they coulda made a movie where Todd and Copper have kids and they try to keep them out of trouble but something happens in the end that makes the kids right kinda like the Lion King 2, or something like that. I don't know if that woulda made it better, but I think it would at least be a little better than what this is. The story they have here is dumb, boring and so beyond stupid. They don't care about it all. As you can tell, I'm saying this is an obvious skip. Thank you all for reading and please comment down below to tell me what you think.
